  • Changes made in the PODCAST GET INFO window do not "stick"?

When working with podcasts, changes made in the GET INFO window do not "stick" for newly downloaded podcasts? In other words the changes are not persistent for newly downloaded podcasts. I want the changes to apply to past, present, and future podcasts.

thats difficult to say without seeing the code in the template.
when you dont supply any _tempate value in the url, the system by default uses
    WEBREPORTING_SELSCREEN template.
your po_selscreen may be a copy of this and modified to change the look and feel or something like that. compare these two and see whats causing the selscreen from appearing completely

  • IDE workspace windows won't stick

I manage to drag all of the windows: e.g., Palette, Server Navigator, Application Outline, etc. to where I want them, but when I create a project and save all, they drop out when I restart the program. Any ideas?

    Hi,
We could not reproduce this. Could tou please provide
the steps . Are you "Docking" the window after
dragging it to some area of the IDE?
Regards. Many of the windows disappear when I start up the IDE. Each time I have to click View then the desired window. When the window appears it is often in the wrong place (docked on the right side instead of the left or undocked). I then dock it to the desired position and open a project. If I save all when I exit the IDE, then restart the IDE, the screen returns to the original configuration with missing windows. There is probably a default template file that needs to be edited, but I don't know how. It's very frustrating having to start over every time I start the IDE. Any help would be appreciated.

  • GX660 come missing windows 7 home DVD/CD , what i do ?

hello just noticied for my luck that my GX660 come missing windows 7 , great.
i had the cd-key at back
had any official microsoft link for i download the dvd and use cd-key come my GX , what i do ?!
    Georges.

Notebooks, AIO(all in one's), Desktops, etc, don't come with disks anymore(from any manufacturer)--not for many, many years.   Some may offer you a disc at an additional charge, but even that is not often.  You have the ability to make a recovery DVD so you can re-load your system as it came to you in case of a hard drive failure, but you have to make the disc or discs.  Also, there is a hidden recovery partition on your hard drive in case your OS is totally messed up, but your HDD is not.  Additionally, you can borrow a similar disc, home for home, pro for pro, and use your product key.
    Make your recovery discs now.

  • Windows 7 LoA sticker damaged

    Dear HP support,
My "HP EliteBook 2740p Tablet PC" came originally with the genuine "Microsoft Windows 7 LoA" sticker and the OS pre-installed, but this sticker was damaged due to the time of usage this laptop. I would like to know if there any ways to restore the sticker information because I need to reinstall the OS completely. The serial number of the laptop is 2CE1230FP8.
    Thank you for your help.

Sometimes the key will be in the battery compartment also.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in

    Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

  • Missing Windows 7 Components?

Hi  I have a Toshiba laptop model (Satellite) L675-S7018.  A few months ago my Windows Update stopped working and I now have various security updates that fail to install including Windows Service Pack 1.  I've tried all the Microsoft fix it's and I seem to have a working updater.  But I keep being directed to a Microsoft Windows 7 page that is telling me I am missing (one or more) windows components that the SP1 needs in order to install.  It advises reinstalling my Windows 7 from an installation disc and says that often computers from 3rd party sources (like Toshiba) are missing one or more components because they just weren't installed at the factory.  Of course I have no Windows (7) installation discs, and my recovery discs don't seem to want to work now either.  I don't understand why updates won't install anymore because they used to.  I went to the add or remove features in my control panel (under Programs) and tried to install all components that were showing a blank box.  Checkmarked all and ran that.  But it always tells me "some components could not be installed".  I am stumped.  Do you know which components I am missing?  How do I install or reinstall them?  I don't appear to have any rollback settings that are prior to loosing my ability to upgrade windows.  I have run checkdisc and scan disc and everything I can think of to repair my Windows 7 installation but nothing repairs it...I still seem to be missing "some components".

To try to replace the missing Windows files/components run this command at an elevated command prompt:
       sfc /scannow
How to use the System File Checker tool
Try this first and let us know what happens. But, it sounds like you should read up on using your Toshiba Recovery utility, this starts on page 60 of your User's Guide. While you should ensure you have a good set of recovery disks/media for emergencies, it's best to run the recovery utility from the recovery partition on your hard drive.
But, get back to us with the results of running the sfc tool first. We can consider a recovery after if necessary.

  • T440s Windows product key sticker

Hi, I plan on reinstalling Windows 8. Does anyone know where the Windows product key sticker is located on the T440s? I've looked under the battery compartment but it's not there. Any help would be appreciated.

It's built into the BIOS, so Windows Setup will pick it up automatically.

The LXDE runs fine on my newly built arch for a couple of days, and then I must have done something (e.g. upgraded or uninstalled some packages) and now I can still log into LXDE by using slim login manager or startx command, but none of the applications will have the window borders and I am not able to move the application window around or minimize/resize the window.

    Thanks. The problem is solved.
Both openbox and lxsession were installed. The only thing missing was the missing libsvg library. Here is the relevant entries in /var/log/pacman.log (when I installed the libsvg package just now)
    # egrep -ri svg /var/log/pacman.log
    [2013-09-02 14:52] [PACMAN] Running 'pacman --color auto -S extra/librsvg'
    [2013-09-02 14:52] [PACMAN] installed librsvg (1:2.37.0-1)
so somehow it wasn't needed on a working lxde since 08/28 when the system was installed, and right after 3.10.10 kernel upgrade(Sat., 8/31), it is required to have the windows manager working properly. 3.10.10 linux kernel change log from https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel … og-3.10.10 did not return anything relevant.
Anyway thanks for the input and I'm glad that the problem was solved quickly.

  • [SOLVED] Fresh Install - LXDE - Missing Window Decorations

    Hi folks,
I just did a fresh install on my netbook (Asus 1000h) which went flawless as allways. I did install Xorg, the relevant intel drivers, some small stuff like screen and the like and then went on to install LXDE as the desktop environment + the murrine gtk engine and some murrine themes. Everything is working, the murrine theme etc, except one thing: The window decorations are missing completely.
This is the first time sth. like that happened to me after a fresh install and I'm not really sure what could be missing and 3 hours after trying to delete my ~/.config ~./local folders (I'm using a backup of my ~ - I've checked permissions etc.) I'm ranning out of ideas. I'd be glad for any pointers as to how to debug this or what could possibly cause this.
    Thanks in advance.

LXDE does not provide a window manager (and window decorator). They just strongly advise to use OpenBox. On ArchLinux, the group of packages "lxde" doesn't install OpenBox, so you have to install it by yourself, or install another WM. Then, you will need to configure the way you launch X so OpenBox is used.
You may refer to http://lxde.org/lxde .

  • Filters Sometimes Missing Windows 7 64bit

Weird problem. If I open an image from Windows Explorer to Photoshop (by doubling clicking the image in Explorer), I have no add-on filters available in PS. Programs normally listed under the Automate menu are also missing. If I open Photoshop first, and then the images, the filters and Automate menu are there and work normally.
Anyone have a clue why this happens and how to (easily) fix it?

Are you talking about plugins that you have added?
Perhaps the 64 bit variant of Photoshop is opening on the "double click the image" opens, while the 32 bit variant of Photoshop is opening when you start it from the icon.  Both variants get installed in Windows Vista or 7 x64 editions.
The key here is that the 32 bit variant of Photoshop only runs 32 bit plugins, and the 64 bit variant only runs 64 bit plugins.
    To be specific:
The 64 bit variant runs from here:
    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe"
The 32 bit variant runs from here:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Photoshop.exe"
Perhaps you want to associate the 32 bit variant with your images.  In Windows 7, you can do this via the "Default Programs" feature (click Start, type default into the search box, and click Default Programs when it comes up).
Alternatively or in addition, you could create two icons on your desktop, one each containing the paths above, and drag your images to the one you want to use.

    Hi,
I've got a big problem with the itunes software (latest version) on my girlfriends notebook.
Everytime I want to start itunes I get the message "some required files are missing - please reinstall"

    So thanks for your help!!!

    Hi Guggi2k,
If you are still having issues after a reinstall, you may want to make sure that you are completely removing all the iTunes files before reinstalling. You may find the following article helpful:
