Missing XML sample files
Hi all,
I recently downloaded some extensions and installed them
through the extension manager. The extensions say they installed
correctly but I can not find the sample xml files anywhere. Any
ideas?

AIAInstallProperties.xml - Sample file REQUIRED
Hi,
I have installed (file only) option with AIA FP but in my AIA_HOME/config directory there is no file called 'AIAInstallProperties.xml' which is required to deploy AIA using an script. Can anyone please copy or upload an AIAInstallProperties.xml sample file here so I can download and copy to machine and continue my installation.
I am using Single server, basic installation.
Thanks
SJunejoDid you ask Customs Info' I'm sure they have one for US export.

Product reclassification XML sample file
Hello,
I have been trying check out the functionality to automatically reclassify products using an XML upload in Compliance Management (/SAPSLL/PR_RETARIF_XML_002).
Unfortunately nobody seems to have an example file (US Commerce Control List or EU Export List or whatever). I suppose its an old number vs. new number file, depending on the structure of the numbering scheme ?
I have tried to use an upload file for a numbering scheme with changed numbers/validity dates but that did not do.
I haven't found anything on the SAP Support Site neither nor did I manage to get a sample from a data provider so sorry to bother you.
Cheers and Thanks for your advice,
Uwe

Anybody know why there are a few Factory patches in the EXS24 that are missing the associated audio files? Pop Flute and Pop Horns come to mind. I've noticed this on my desktop and assumed I must have misplaced the samples somehow, but I recently did a fresh install on my new laptop and find the same thing.
Search is your friend! There are a ton of posts on this topic. Search missing content, samples, files, etc will bring up a lot of info. Many have speculated that it's a glitch in Logic's installer. Check this out:

Download Presenter trial in your website but when I published object scorm in zip file miss some important file such as ismmanifest.xml. In fact Moodle upload is wrong! Is it a bug or what? Thank you.
You can publish Adobe Presenter Projects to your Moodle LMS (this will work for many other LMS’ too.)Please follow the steps as mentioned in the blog linked below.

As part of something identified by the FBI as a scam (called "Reveton"), I had my Safari page temporarily frozen (apparenly simply by substituting their selected page as my home page), and with a good deal of "hoop-jumping" to "unfreeze" my computer with the help of both ISP and Apple tech support, I am once again able to use Safari and other stuff seems restored as well, but I find my "Pages" documents can be read or accessed because they are missing their ".xml files". This apparently pertains only to those files , upgraded or not, which appear on my desktop without being in folder whether or not I've upgraded them to the new Mavericks status from the recent upgrade. I can create new documents without a problem. This is an "advertisement" for using the new coud tool for automatic update, or somethign like it, which I do not ordinarily do. (Guess I'm gonna have to change my ways....)
Any ideas for a remedy or method of recovery, or do I just chalk this one up under the phrase "learning curve"?The Pages and missing .xml files seem to have restored themselves, probably when I shut off the lovely thing when I went to dinner. I can open the files that I could not open before. I've heard that these things clean and heal themselves; I think I just saw it in action.

Sms_option.sample File missing
Sun Java System Messaging Server 6.3 Admin / Reference guide states that there is a sms_option.sample file that we can build off but I've searched the entire server for it and it can not be found. Is this an oversight of the documentation? Anybody know if it is available someplace? Also is it indepth what a typical setup may be like?
I've tried going through the Guides (admin and Reference), but it feels like I'm missing something in the options file.

Forgot the version printout:

I want to assign a textfield with a value based on the value of coap_flag.
So i need to loop through all the record and check the value of coap_flag and then assign the textfield a value based on that.
I am new to Adobe livecycle...Please help me how it can be done.
I have developed something like this
foreach Item in ($record.applicant[*].coap_flag) do
test.value=Item
if(test.value=="MA")then
concat($record.applicant.first_name,$record.applicant.middle_name)endif
endforUsing the data you posted in the forum, I copied it a couple of times to give multiple records and used this code to extract the different values that you wanted. I had to wrap it in a <root> node that I called root (to make it valid XML). In my case I wrote the extracted values to a field, but in your case you can do whatever you want with them. Note that this was done in javascript:<br /><br />var currentElement;<br />var obj;<br /><br />//Get the nodes below the root node in the dataDom<br />obj = xfa.datasets.data.root.nodes;<br /><br />//Set an initial value for the textField<br />TextField1.rawValue = "The values of the coap_flag are: ";<br /><br />//Loop through the nodes in the obj set <br />for (i=0; i< obj.length ; i++){<br /> //set the currentElement to the 1st child node<br /> currentElement = obj.item(i);<br /> //Check to see if it is an applicant node<br /> if (currentElement.name == "applicant"){<br /> //It is an applican, now find the coap_flag node value and write it to the text field<br /> TextField1.rawValue += "\n" + xfa.resolveNode("xfa.datasets.data.root.applicant[" + i + "]").coap_flag.value;<br /> }<br />}

Missing Oracle Reports tutorial sample files
The Oracle reports tutorial version 10.1.2, which I just downloaded along with Oracle reports, specifies where the sample files can be found in the prerequisites section. It says,
You can download these files from the Oracle Technology Network (OTN) Oracle Reports 10g page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/reports/index.html): click Getting Started with Oracle Reports. Navigate to the index, then click Examples. On the Examples page, you will see a link to Oracle Reports Tutorial.
There is no "Getting Started with Oracle Reports" on that web page. I've looked around for the sample files for this turorial and I can't find them. Does anyone know where they are located?I found the sample code for the Oracle Reports tutorial. It's at:

Missing XML elements are no longer treated as NULL value (MDM 7.1 SP04)
Hello,
We have a problem with importing XML files with missing XML segments (and hence missing XML fields) in XML file.
In MDM 7.1 SP03 (7.1.03.72), missing fields within a missing segment (so no tags at all for segment and fields) were still represented in the import manager as NULL value in the value mapping, making it possible to do value mapping and to import this NULL value into MDM (overwriting existing values in MDM).
As of MDM 7.1 SP04 (we are running 7.1.04.126) the missing fields within an missing segment are no longer represented in the import manager as NULL value in value mapping!
I don't know if that's a new 'feature' in SP04 but we are now running into following problem:
- We are importing customer data from ECC into MDM, where some segments are optional
- The fields within the (optional) segment are mapped to a multi-valued tuple field
- When we now import a customer that has values for the optional segment, the tuple field gets filled correctly
- When the optional data is now removed completely from the customer in ECC, we don't get that segment anymore in the XML file (this is how the Idoc works on ECC side, if all entries from the optionel segment are deleted then the complete segment is missing in the XML file)
- In SP03 we replaced the existing tuple records with the NULL value (leaving 1 empty tuple record, but this is known issue to SAP, so we've accepted this for the moment)
- In SP04 we cannot replace the existing tuple records anymore, since when complete segment is missing, the fields within that segment gets no value at all (in source values). So we are not able to replace the existing tuple records with NULL/nothing, leaving the 'old' tuple values in MDM!
Does anyone have solution for this (that also works with SP04)?
We already tried to replace the complete record in MDM (instead of updating it, this is possible since we always get the latest (and complete) status of a customer), but we are also mapping the remote key, and hence you are not allowed to replace the record during import!
Other solution could be to have PI add any missing segment into the XML message, but we first want to make sure that this cannot be handled within MDM Import Manager itself.
Thanks in advance,
Marcel Herber
Edited by: P.H.M. Herber on Apr 27, 2010 3:46 PMHi Marcel,
I haven't tried it with XML file but i hope it may help you.
long back i need to send one field with value null if it doesn't come in source file and if it comes then original value.
What i did, i loaded a file which does not have this field, so in MDM Import Manager, under source hierarchy i created a field say ABC and map this field with target field and its value Null with Null, i also save this property in map using configuration options-->Automap fields when loading map = Yes
So whenever a file come with missing field ABC, automatically this field get created and mapped with target field and its value Null with target Null. on the other hand, If this field actually comes in Source File(Delimited, Excel) ABC then this field with its original value gets map with target field value. That time it worked fine.
Just try and revert with result if it helps..
Else, using PI is the best option to create that missing segment into the XML message.

XML Schema file in data definition
Hi,
I am creating a custom RTF template for a seeded data definition in the eBusiness Suite. The data definition has an XML Schema file loaded however this does not include all the data required for the template. Running the report to just generate the XML (i.e. no template) I can see that the additional data is available at this level just not included in the XSD.
I have built the template including the additional elements from the XML and expected to have to create a custom data definition as well to add the additional elements to the XSD. However the template is working against the seeded definition and successfully picking up the elements that are not included in the XSD.
Has anybody else come across this situation? And are there any potential issues? I could create a custom data definition as well to load an amended XSD but this would be a more invasive change as it would involve end dating the seeded data definition which I would prefer not to do. The report is not being generated from a concurrent request so I cannot just create a custom request and leave the seeded report untouched.
Thanks,
SarahThe XML Schema is only required if you are using a PDF template (the template file itself is PDF) with field-mapping. For other template types the schema is optional.
The XML Schema is used to define a "class" of XML documents, so to speak. The define the semantics and structure of the XML documents more thoroughly.
If you have closely related reports, you could use a single schema to standardize (in a sense) the XML to be output from the class of related reports. In that case you could have a single schema file uploaded to multiple reports/data-definitions.
The W3C has good documentation on XML Schema.
If you want to see samples, you can use tools such as dtd2xs to create sample schemas from your DTD. -
Opening plug in settings, sample files, loops, effects, etc
What application do I need to use to open the plug in settings, sample files, loops, etc.? Some open with quicktime, however, most all of them are pst files. I am new to this and have no idea what that is. The files are there, they just won't open, even if I change them to open with quicktime. Any help would be appreciated.
Garage band v1.1.0 (26) Mac OS X (10.4.8)I've tried opening them from within garageband, no success. I went through finder just to see what type of file they were compared to the ones that would open. the ones that will open open with quicktime and are .aif files. The other ones won't open even if I select quicktime as the application to open them with. I know I sound stupid, but I'm kinda new to the digital recording. Am I missing an application or driver or something? Thanks for responding.

But you can use tools like the conversion agent etc to acheive the same or read the XML in flat and then use XSLT or java to create the req. structure.
