Mistakenly deleted data on ODS ...Plz help

Hello friends,
Mistakenly i deleted data from ODS. After that immediately processed Initialize Delta Process . Now i didnt get what to do?
I am new in BI. Pls help.

I guess every day morning they schedule Job in LBWE to update records in delta Queue.
SM37
job name - enter *LIS*
user - *
execute it..
You can double confirm that no job is scheduled for particular application after today morning.
Then - In PSA give request newer than date-blank and refresh.. ensure no psa request is deleted recently. Depends on data volume, in some cases frequently PSA records will be deleted after successfully loaded to target.
If you have entire request - execute DTP. It will bring all records in PSA to target.

Reloading of deleted data from ODS to cube

i have deleted the data from the cube using selective option in the cube. Now i want to reload the deleted data. Since i have data in ODS i am loading it into cube. But it is doing a full update which i don't need. I wanted only the deleted data to be reloaded from ODS. Since i have some routines and rules in the cube. i am deleting the cube and reloading the data. Could anyone suggest

R u aware of it that which value u hav deleted................if u know that..........then run full IP with selection......In the Data Selection tab u give the selection........provided that field is included in the Data selection tab..........if not and if u hav authorization........then u can go to RSO2.....in the source system....Give the datasource name.........go to change mode .........Check the selection box for that field.......then activate the datasource............again replicate it.............then Activate the transfer rule using the program : RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.........
Then that field will be available there for selection..............But do this if it is must to do the load in this way..............

Hi Kalyan,
As Malli mentioned those are the ways you can delete the data...again it depends on the update mode used for data loads. If it is a delta load from R3 make sure u mark it as red before deleting so you dont loose data from subsequent deltas.
if it is full update and if u wish to delete it u can simply delete it coz BW will mark it as red.
What is it do u want to know abt activation?

I have deleted the data from ODS in between i have not used the PSA Transfer method. If i want to get back that data which i have deleted how can i get it.

do a full load to ODS from R/3.
Then do init without data transfer.
Then continue with delta loads.
I suggest u switch on PSA in infopackage so that if further issues occur in coming days,u can reconstruct data from the PSA.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. Unable to Delete Data from ODS ---Tricky

I am trying to delete the request from ODS , I could see the job being scheduled for deletion, but finally the request is not deleted. What can be the reason for this and how can I go about from here, we have to do it in production.please respond soon .

Generally, I wouldn't think the deletion would be impacted by tablespace issues except for two scenarios -
With Selective Deletion, the BW deteremines how many rows you will be deleting and if it determines that it will be more than 10% of the rows in the tables, the BW decides that it is faster to copy the table, excluding the rows to be deleted, and then drops the old table and renames the copy to the original table names. In this case, there must be enough freespace in the tablespace to accomodate the temporary copy as well as the original table. I don't believe applies to deletion of a Request, only a Selective Deletion.
Request deletion requires temporary space in the Rollback tablespace. The database must maintain an image of the table before the deletion until the change is committed, so that in the event the deletion process fails or is cancelled, the deletes that were being done can be rolled back to restore the table to its previous state. Again, unless this Request held a very large amount of data, the amount of rollback space availalbe should not be an issue.
I would guess Authorizations is a good canidate for the cause. There was a fairly recent Note 810201 that allows for the creation of a new RSADMIN parameter that is designed to permit deletion of a Request, but NOT a Delete All Data.

i have ods it is getting upload from 2 data sources(02_SCL and Generic DataSource), SCL through Deltas, Generic Datasource using Full Load, i want to delete previous day request or changelog. but i dont want to miss the deltas of SCL. this ODS doesnot export data to any data target.

So when I first got my phone I had kik and tumblr on it but when I tried to update it my phone just deleted the apps . Now when I try to re install them it won't let me and has a box in the corner that says 17 Ireset my phone,deleted all my apps plz help

It's set in Settings/General/Restrictions. You will need the Restrictions passcode to access the setting. Presumably someone placed the restriction on your phone. You need to talk to whomever set the restriction if it wasn't you.

Data Source Issue - Plz help

We are using a cluster environment for our E2E testing. We hav OSB Server and SOA Server. But the data source named mds-owsm, soaLocalXt datasource keeps on suspending on and off showing unpredictable behaviour. Because of this our server gets shut down automatically which was badly affecting our testing. Kindly help us resolving this issue.

For Data Source to function properly, make sure that intial and maximum connections limit has been set appropriately (preferably both should be equal) and make sure that database is up and running always and has that many connections open. Check with the DBA for DB connection limit settings.
Raise a SR with support if you are not able to figure out the exact issue.

How to Delete a Pattern? Plz Help.

OS: Windows 8 64bit Photoshop CC
I made a few patterns and went to Edit > Define Pattern and named it.
Then I made a new document window and made a shape and then used the Layer Styles to try out my new pattern as an overlay.
The pattern was there which was great. (Excpet I'm uncertain of how exactly it saved).
I made some more variations of the pattern.
Now, there are a few within the set that I don't like at all and would very much like to delete them. But, everything I have tried to delete them hasn't worked out.
The oddest thing to me is that when I go to Program Files > Presets > Patterns the pattern isn't there and It's not in Program Files (x86) either.
I have tried the Preset Manager. I have tried every possible way in which one can access the patterns but nothing is working out.
When I Delete from the Layer Styles panel and then load a new set and then return to the set I made the individual patterns I want gone, and have Deleted, return every time. The Preset Manager won't seem to let me delete the pats either.
I do not want to lose the entire set just a few individual pats.
Also, I have made some new patterns which I would like to save but now when I try to save them I am told that i do not have permission to save in that location - of which is program files > presets >patters and that i need administration permission and then it asks if i want to save in: Kara which is the name of my computer. ()
(why isn't this more intuitive?)
Yes, I have read the manual ... that is what said to do it the way that's not working.
Can someone please help me? It's all driving me quite NUTS.

was just returning to say i figured out the save thing from the manual ... which oddly... is hard to find b/c when i click on Photoshop CC manual ... nothing about Patterns is listed.

Should I use this command truncate table ...; or delete from ... where CREA_MONTH ='' or maybe other sql statement ?

Well, you may not need to worry about destroy your database but you might find out if truncate this table will destroy your application.
A truncate statement is a regular DDL of Oracle, runing it will certainly not crush your database. However you need to talk to application user to figure out if this table is really unnecessary.
Before you do the truncate, better make a backup.
