Mistserver-git not building

I try to build mistserver-git, but it's failing at the following message
Starting build()...
autoreconf: 'configure.ac' or 'configure.in' is required
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
Is there something wrong with autoconf, I have searched the net, it was suggested to run the newest version of autoconf, I guess we have the latest on Arch!?
I would like to build this on a 'Raspberry Pi', once I have it working on a laptop.
Btw, I already had it working a few weeks back, so something changed, although I can't find what did.

The PKGBUILD is out of date. They ditched autotools at the beginning of Jan: https://github.com/DDVTECH/mistserver/c … a2077cea96

How do I build cairo-git without this problem? I need the latest version of cairo for HiDPI scaling under GNOME 3.12
    Thanks.

Maybe try to begin with the current stable PKGBUILD and replace the source archive with the git url.

Edit: It compiled for me with this. I didn't test drm.

  • Stumpwm-git not building

Hi,  after installing stumpwm on one of my boxes, I decided to go ahead and put it on my day-to-day laptop as well, and ran into a small issue.
I'm using sbcl and the clx and cl-ppcre packages install fine for me, but when PKGBUILDing the stumpwm-git package, things fail.
The problem appears to be related to the June 06 commit (2eae3e6a6356ade7b70d52ed7b1053928d33a1ab) which made a change to the definition of pathname-is-executable-p.  The commit message says that it was made to fix compilation with new SBCLs, I'm running the latest sbcl that pacman installed for me, 1.0.28.  The new pathname-is-executable-p causes sbcl to choke when it is trying to generate the stumpwm.texi file.  To get some idea, of what's happening in the build, you can do this from inside stumpwm-git/src/stumpwm-build:
    % sbcl
    sbcl> (require 'stumpwm)
    sbcl> (load "manual.lisp")
sbcl> (stumpwm::generate-manual) ;; this is the function that build calls to generate stumpwm.texi
sbcl> (stumpwm::generate-function-doc *standard-output* "@@@ pathname-is-executable-p") ;; this is the specific input that is causing the generation to fail
beyond that, I think this is an issue for the stumpwm devs.
As a workaround, I was able to generate stumpwm.texi by checking out the previous commit in the git repo and running stumpwm::generate-manual as above:
    in stumpwm-git/src/stumpwm-build:
    % git checkout HEAD^
I haven't taken this any further than that yet, but I thought I'd post here in case anyone else had problems.

Have you tried the PKGBUILD posted in the comments? http://pastebin.com/PZTijriV

  • JDeveloper, Can not build schema - Help Required

    Hi everyone,
I am facing a peculiar problem with Jdeveloper. (10.1.3.4.4270)
I am developing an ESB project. When referring to a XSD from within a XSD using a URL i.e. import, It's giving me error.
    Here is the sample code:_
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    <xsd:import namespace="http://xmlns.mysite.com/q/types"
              schemaLocation="http://192.168.8.10:7072/mySchemas/xmltypes.xsd" />
( [http://192.168.8.10:7072/mySchemas/xmltypes.xsd|http://192.168.8.10:7072/mySchemas/xmltypes.xsd] is accessible from a browser directly on the machine where project dir exists)
When opening the XSD is design mode its showing red(error) for any element that uses types from xmltypes.xsd. When opening the XSL mapping which uses the current XSD its gives the following error:
"Failed to open the target schema:
Can not build schema 'http://xmlns.mysite.com/q/types' located at 'file :/C: /....../*xmltypes.xsd*'"
+(It seems Jdeveloper is looking for the xmltypes.xsd in project dir, even though the import points to a URL)+
The same code above works fine in Eclipse Gynamade and elements in current XSD are able to refer to types in xmltypes.xsd.
What could be the problem. I am not finding any solution for this.
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.ButI had assign the dba role to the user, and could you tell me what version can build the schema.I had use the RAM 6.3.4.0.0 Complete 6.334
    Thank in advance

  • DC not build in CONS buildspace

    Hi,
we have the problem that our DCs are correctly build in the DEV buildspace of the CBS server but not in the CONS buildspace.
We already checked all compartments and the DTR workspaces. Everything is identical.
When building the DCs in the CONS buildspace the files seem not to be checked out from DTR.
Below I attached the build log from DEV buildspace (that works fine) and from CONS buildspace (that does not build the DC correctly).
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem?
    Thanks in advance.
    Helmut

    Hi Helmut,
It looks like only the activity that creates the DC was transported to cons, but not the actual WD content. The source folder (src/packages) is there in both cases, but it looks like the WD generator just doesn't find any wd-sources in cons.
Did you compare the DTR workspaces? Could you check for unreleased activities ?
If the workspace comparison (between dev/active and cons/inactive) shows that they are identical, then could you check what happens when you import the cons configuration in the IDE and try to build the DC from within the IDE?
    Regards,
    Manohar

  • Help page does not build refernce Models summary.

Currently, we use the MVC default help page feature and enable the XMLPrvider:
    config.SetDocumentationProvider(new XmlDocumentationProvider(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("~/App_Data/ManagementApi.xml")));
When we access the help page, we didn’t found the Reference Model property summary, the Description column for the Reference Model is Null, because when we build the WebAPI project, it only build its own Models, not build the Reference Model,
So is there anyway can do it, when we build the API project, it also build the Reference Models?

    Hi Will,
Thanks for your investigating, I did it like you described. the issue is when we build the
WebApi project, the models which used from the
Reference Project did not build to the xml file, for instance, we have a Web API project called
WebProject, and in the Project we use the TestClass
from the Class Library Project called Models, when we build the
WebProject, the TestClass did not build in the Specified Xml File. so we did not see the Description in the WebAPI help page, Currently, I try to use a workaround to achieve it, below is the link I found, hope to help your understading:
    http://aspnetwebstack.codeplex.com/workitem/1720
I set the Models build to another XML file, and use it for the
    Provider, It works.

  • Upgraded Cube does not build

Sometimes a modified cube will not build after release. It cannot find the esm file -- which is there -- or will not stop, or Essbase thinks it is being used.
We are using version 7.1.3 on a Windows server, and deployment cannot be carried out through EAS. We deploy through Windows batch commands. Given that we must deploy this way, is there anything we can do for the cube to prevent these failures? We already stop the application before building, and prevent logins.

    Hi All
The above is a false alarm.
Basically it turned out that one of the keys in the fact table was not a leaf node in the dimension.
After rectifying that all works fine now.

Since my IPOD Touch upgraded to IOS 8.1.2 it will not play well with my 2013 Charger's UConnect entertainment system. It will not build a library so I can not Browse or Shuffle. The only thing it does is list all the songs alphabetically when connected via USB.

    - Contact the manufacturer/go to their support site.
    - Sometimes this works
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Sometimes and ISO update breaks compatibioity and a firmware update the the dock is required or an iOS update is required.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

  • I have a sugestion to Apple,Why they not build Imac's also with Retina Display.

Dear Apple friends,i'm not Steve Jobs but i have a big sugestion to Apple.
Why they do not build also I'macs with Retina display?.
Is i't to expensive for Apple to do that?,or is i't at the moment impossible with the Technics in the Apple factory?.
Mabye in the Future Apple can build Imac's with retina display and the newest chipset's build in.
Dear greetings from a Dutch Apple user with pleasure.

Maybe Apple has got that idea. However, note how difficult the design and how expensive an iMac with Retina display could be. Just imagine a 27-inch display with a 5120x2880 resolution ;-).
Anyway, you can send the idea to Apple > http://www.apple.com/feedback

  • PS CS4 Error: Could not build preview because of a disk error

I have been using this version of Photoshop without any problems for about two years, and then I upgraded to OS X Lion last week and now I get a disk error when I try to save a file.  The message says "Photoshop could not build preview because of a disk error".  I tried to save the file to a thumb drive, but I get the same problem.  I believe I also got a scratch disk error one of the times as well.  Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?  I have already downloaded the latest update.  I have tried restarting my computer.  It works ok for a few times after restart but then the error returns.

I guess it could be a coincidence, but since this started happening right after I installed OS X 10.7 I have to think it has something to do with that.  I'll try using the repair disk utility... Don't have a 10.7 disk since i installed from the app store, so not really sure what steps to take.

  • Why not build same function in Itunes as Spotify offers ..? I Would definitely buy me access on site.. :-)

why not build same function in Itunes as Spotify offers ..? I Would definitely buy me access on site.. :-)

Spotify has a completely different legal and contractual structure, oriented towards subscription services. You never, ever, own the music you hear on Spotify, and both artists and labels are compensated at a minuscule fraction of the quantity they receive when you buy music from the iTunes store. It is not clear that the Spotify model will remain sustainable over time, as artists/labels have little incentive other than promotion to post their work there.
Apple would have to determine that such an arrangement was worthwhile to them (and you, and all the other parties) before they went that route. Technically, it is not hard for them.

To Airdrop between a Mac an iOS device
    System Requirements
To see if your Mac works with AirDrop, make sure you’re in the Finder by clicking the desktop (the background area of your screen), or by clicking the Finder icon in the Dock. Then, check to see if AirDrop is listed as an option in the Go menu. If you don't see AirDrop listed, your Mac doesn't support this feature.
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed
Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.

However, I can actually confirm that this *does* build when I do it with cabal itself. For some reason issuing an indirect build via arch build system causes failure. Here is the output from `ghc-pkg list text`:
    /usr/lib/ghc-7.6.3/package.conf.d
    text-0.11.3.1
Any ideas as to what is going wrong would be much appreciated.
