Mit acrobat reader X als version 1.4. abspeichern?

Hallo!
Ich verwende windows 7 sowie den acrobat reader X. Für die Übermittlung von pdf-Dokumenten für die Behörde darf das Dokument keine höhere Version als 1.4. und nicht verschlüsselt sein; die eingescannten Dokumente erstelle ich über PaperPort als pdf-Datei. Nachdem ich dort keinen entsprechenden Support bekommen habe, muss ich die Frage also hier stellen:
Speichere ich das Dokument im PaperPort direkt als pdf, ist es leider verschlüsselt, hat aber immerhin Version 1.4. Wenn ich das Dokument über PaperPort zuerst als pdf öffnen lasse und danach erst zu "speichern unter: pdf", weist es keine Verschlüsselung auf, ist dafür aber wieder eine 1.5-Version! Bei PaperPort gibt es keine Einstellungen, unter welcher Version ich das Dokument abspeichern möchte, es muss also an Adobe liegen.
Kann mir jemand helfen, ich weiß einfach nicht, wie ich beides (keine Verschlüsselung + Version) hinbekomme... Hier eine Standardeinstellung einzustellen wäre ideal, schließlich möchte ich nicht bei jedem neuen Dokument ewig herumhantieren.

Ok, es liegt daran, dass es das Programm, das Du angegeben hast, gar nicht existiert:
Es gibt entweder einen Adobe Reader X, bzw. XI, da kannst Du gar nichts ändern, auch nicht die Version des PDFs.
Oder Du nimmst Adobe Acrobat (Pro) X oder XI, da gibt es eine entsprechende Funktion im Speichern-Dialog.
Bitte in Zukunft einfach genau angeben, mit welchem Programm Du arbeitest. Sonst würde ich Dir empfehlen, Acrobat anzuschaffen, der ist allemal zuverlässiger als ein PDF-Creator.

Drucken mehrerer PDF-Dateien mit Acrobat Reader 6

Wenn ich mehrere PDF-Dateien im Windows-Explorer auswähle (z.B. 20 PDF-Dateien) und über das Kontext-Menü ausdrucke (Rechtsklick + Menüpunkt <Drucken>), dann werden nicht alle PDF-Dokumente ausgedruckt. Der Acrobat-Reader wird gestartet und es werden manchmal nur 10, manchmal auch 12 oder mehr PDF-Dateien ausgedruckt. Meistenens aber nie alle. Eine Fehlermeldung erscheint nicht! Das gleiche Problem tritt auf, wenn ich aus einer VB6-Anwendung mit der ShellExecute-Anweisung mehrere PDF-Dokumente hintereinander ausgeben will. Bei der ShellExecute-Anweisung verwende ich die "printto"-Aktion des Dateityps PDF. Das Problem ist bei uns auf mehreren Rechnern nachvollziehbar (WinXP, Acrobat Reader 6.0.2). Mit Acrobat 5 gab es dieses Problem noch nicht. Ich habe bereits geprueft, ob DDE hier eine Lösung bringt: Die DDE-Message <FilePrintToEx> hat aber den Nachteil, dass bei jedem PDF-Dokument, welches gedruckt werden soll ein Dialog vom Acrobat Reader angezeigt wird. Eine DDE-Message <FilePrintToSilentEx>, die den Dialog unterdrückt, existiert leider nicht. Und die DDE-Message <FilePrintSilent> gibt die Datei immer nur auf den Standarddrucker aus und ist damit auch nicht brauchbar. Ist dieses Problem bekannt ? Kann das vielleicht jemand nachvollziehen ? HELP - Copying Text from Acrobat Reader 6.0 version

Hi Guys,
I have Acrobat Reader Version 6.0. I can't seem to click on "Select" and copy text in word document. When i clock on "Select", nothing happens. Does anyone know how I can actually copy text without havign to type everything again?

where would I see a locked padlock? my work collegue can actually copy the text from the same PDF file on his computer but i cant. But he has acrobat reader version 7.0. Not too sure if that makes any differenct.
I right clicked on the PDF file and selected properties. and read only box is not selected.

Acrobat Reader Redistribute wrong version

Hi all,
I registered for redistribute Acrobat Reader in our network. Adobe sent me the link to download the file. Unzip the file which has Setup.exe, AcroRead.msi and other files. If I manually install it by double click on Setup.exe file, I got the right version (1.0.14) but if I deploy the it through gpo by using the file AcroRead.msi, then I only get version 1.0.10. Why is it like that?

If you want to deploy 10.1.4 to the clients on your network, you need to create an AIP for 10.1 from the Acroread.MSI and then patch it with the MSP for 10.1.4. You can then push this new AIP for 10.1.4 through your network using GPO. It will install Reader 10.1.4 on the clients. Layout 2in1 mit Acrobat Reader

Ich möchte ein pdf file im layout 2in1 ausdrucken. Dh. zwei Seiten verkleinert auf ein a4 blatt.
Ich finde auch die Einstellungen, wenn ich aber drucken will (auf HP Laserjet 5) kommen nur 2 ganz normale a4 Seiten.
Mit der Bitte um Hilfe...

Vom Reader gibt es hierfür keine Unterstützung :-( . Ein weg über den Distiller wäre möglich, wo man dieses Feature hat.

Why am I unable to activate, use or install Adobe Acrobat Reader XI Free version on Windows 8.

Downloads are normal. I always deactivate Windows Defender during download and installation attempts. Thi is the only anti virus software I have, but still, neither can I read any PDF documents nor can I uninstall Acrobar reader.

Every time I install it, the installation appears to have been completed. I get the Adobe icon in the programmes list on my C drive. But I am unable to either open or uninstall the prgramme. While tryng to uninstall, error messages say that there are problems with the Windows Installer. When I click on the Adobe icon, to try and opem the programme, nothing happens. I have been trying to read PDF documents that are1. Saved on my hard drive2. Email attachements3. From websitesNone of them open. My operating system is a Windows 8 Pro, bought in November, directly from Microsoft. The usual message that comes on when I try to open the documents is: "Windows cannot access.....check the spelling...etc.

Printing freezes Acrobat Reader various versions

I have one (luckily, just one) client who has a problem printing from Acrobat Reader. So far, this problem has been with v6.x, v7.x, and v9.x (uninstalled 6.x, installed and uninstalled 7.x, and then installed 9.x, trying to solve this issue, with no changes).
For the longest time, there was NO problem printing PDF files. Then, she couldn't print at all, it would bring up an error message. I read where setting/changing the default printer would solve this, and it did -- to a point.
Now, when she tries to print (FILE | PRINT -- read below as to why this is necessary), it will print, but the printer dialog box takes a LONG time to come up (3-5 minutes) and then the drop down menu to select a printer takes a long time to come up, as well.
She travels between various offices, which is why she must use FILE | PRINT -- she needs to choose the printer(s) that are available to her when she logs into the network. There are HP, Cannon, Lexmark, and other printers at these various locations.
The problem *only* happens in Acrobat Reader. All of the other applications print fine.
Today, I discovered something interesting by accident. If she is *disconnected* from a network, and starts a print job (again, FILE | PRINT), the printer dialog box opens almost immediately, as does the printer selection drop-down menu. She can then reconnect to the network, after selecting a printer, and then press OK (to print), at which time it does print just fine.
So, in a nutshell:
(1) It *only* happens when trying to print something from Acrobat Reader regardless of version.
(2) It is *only* slow to bring up the printer dialog box, and printer selection drop-down menu when connected to a network.
(3) It *will* eventually (say 3-5 minutes later) bring up the printer dialog box, and printer selection drop-down menu, and print, when connected to a network.
(4) She is using Windows XP (I didnt check on the service pack version, it is, for certain SP2 at least, although she may have allowed Windows Updates to upgrade it to SP3). Multiple printers are being used, from various vendors (HP, Lexmark, Canon, others) so it is extremely unlikely that it is a printer driver issue.
(5) There are others with identical laptops, Windows XP, and using the same printers and Acrobat Reader who also travel to the same offices and work in the same fashion as she, and they do not have this issue.
So, anyone out there smarter than me, any suggestions about how to resolve this?

Hi, I found this to work
open cmd
type the following and press enter after each command:
c:
cd\
del arc*.tmp /S
What the command does is that it deletes acrobat temp files that are stored on your pc, which slows down acrobat printing.

Acrobat Reader 7, 8 & 9 + Outlook 2003 = Freezing

Hi guys,
Here's my issue:
A few of our users here use the "Attach to email..." option within Acrobat Reader after opening a PDF from an email within Outlook 2003 (why they refuse to just forward the damn e-mail, I do not know). Anyways, after typing into the e-mail, they hit "Send" and then both Outlook and Acrobat Reader freeze up. Now just to add to the fun, this happens intermittently. Sometimes twice a day, sometimes twenty.
Things I've tried:
- Reinstalling Acrobat Reader.
- Installing versions 7, 8 and 9 (uninstalling the previous one first of course)
- Reinstalling Outlook 2003.
- Reinstalling the entire Office 2003 package.
- Reconfiguring his Exchange settings (cached mode, etc)
Does anyone have any ideas? I see a number of people with this problem, but no real fix apart from the whole "Don't use Acrobat Reader, hurr" response. We do not have this luxury.
If an Adobe Rep sees this and can even give me an answer of "This is a current issue and it's being looked into.", that would be fine. I need to give these users something to get them off my back.

You do not need Reader and Acrobat on the same system. Acrobat will do all that reader does.
If you have both installed on the same system, you should remove Reader using the Windows Install Cleanu Utitlity and repair Acrobat. If repairing Acrobat does not solve the problem, you remove Acrobat using the Windows Install Cleanu Utitlity and reinstall Acrobat.

Color saturation problem in Acrobat Reader 7.0.9 under Linux

Hi,
I'm working with a guy who is producing PDFs of my work with Indesign.
Using acrobat reader under Linux (version 7.0.1 and also 7.0.9), the colours in these PDFs always appear very saturated. This is a big problem for me because I cannot see with the reference viewer the results of PDFs to be sent to print.
I tried the same pdf file under OS X & Windows, it appears OK with Acrobat reader. Other free pdf readers under Linux also show the right colours (but not always the transparency ;-).
Does anybody has an idea to help me?

Will OraRRP Support Adobe Acrobat Reader X?

After Adobe Acrobat Reader version 9 on a Windows PC was upgraded to version X (10), the Oracle Reports Remote Printing Utility (orarrp.exe v1.3.4) no longer worked. (OraRRP setup for Reports 10gR2 per MetaLink Note ID: 277431.1.) It worked fine before Acrobat Reader upgrade but, afterwards, report printing attempts generated an OraRRP Error -- 'Failed to establish DDE conversation with Acrobat, Error: 16394'.
Downgrading Acrobat Reader back to version 9.4 allowed OraRRP to function correctly again. Will the OraRRP utility be updated to support newer versions of Acrobat Reader (X or greater) which include latest OS and security fixes?

Having trouble downloading acrobat reader

I am having trouble downloading adobe acrobat reader - the latest version.
It downloads to my desktop, but how do I get it to run?

So I double click this file which causes the file to be mounted as a disk image and a new volume appears in the side bar AND usually a new window appears showing the contents of the image (which should be in the installer package):
Double click the installer package to actually install Adobe Acrobat... follow the installer directions

QR Code im Acrobat Reader nicht verfügbar?!

Ich habe ein PDF Formular in Adobe Acrobat X Pro erstellt. Dort gibt es die großartige Funktion alle Formulardaten in ein QR Code zu codieren.
Öffnet ein durchschnittlicher Anwender das Formular mit Acrobat Reader XI sieht er zunächst den QR Code. Jedoch kann er Ihn nicht ändern.
Sobald man ein Feldinhalt ändert wird aus dem QR Code ein graues Feld.
Weiß jemand hierfür eine Lösung?

Security fix for Acrobat & Reader 8.1.2

I just installed the security fix for Acrobat & Reader 8.1.2 from this link:

After the update there is nothing to indicate that it is actually installed.
Going to Help About both Acrobat & Reader still shows Version 8.1.2 as before.
Is there a way to tell if the patch is installed?

I have downloaded the security update and still see AcroRd32.exe as File version 8.1.0.137. I've done this on more than one machine running XP/SP2 with every Windows update applied except SP3. I have deleted Acrobat Reader via Control Panel and then for good measure deleted the sub-directory C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader manually.
I downloaded again, ran updates until I got "There are no updates available at this time."
I ran the security update as stated in the posts above(Post #16). This was verified via
Computer Management > System Tools > Event Viewer
Product: Adobe Acrobat and Reader 8.1.2 Security Update 1 (KB403742) -- Installation operation completed successfully.
There are 2 files in C:\Program File\Adobe\Security Update
HotFix64.exe and RdrSU.mst
I just don't see where AcroRd32.exe version 8.1.2.215 or whatever is supposed to come from?
I'm running this as Administrator and on 3 different machines each with the same result.

Can't remove Acrobat Reader 8 icon from Finder view

Several weeks ago I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader 8, deleting version 7.
Since then, if I double-click on the Finder icon in the Dock I see an Acrobat icon there along with icons for my other folders. If I click on it, the program opens.
The icon doesn't appear on my Desktop.
How can I get rid of it?

Ah, I seem to have solved the problem: when I double-click on the TRASH icon in the Dock and drag the Adobe icon from the left column of folder icons into the Trash area I got a "poof" animation and the Adobe is gone at last!

ich hoffe, mir kann irgendjemand helfen:
wie kann ich ein bild, dass ich in photoshop mit duplextonung versehen habe, als tiff oder jpg abspeichern?
sobald das bild getont ist, stehen in der dateiformat-liste nur noch ein paar wenige formate zur verfügung.
(ich habe schon die ebenen reduziert.)
muss ich irgendwo eine einstellung ändern?

Der Photoshop meint jetzt, du willst das Bild bei einer Druckerei abgeben und entsprechend bietet er dir geeignete Formate an. Immerhin hast du eine Pantone Sonderfarbe verwendet - das ist ein Blecheimer mit schöner, flüssig-cremiger Farbe!
Wandle das Bild zurück in den RGB-Modus und alle Formate stehen wieder zur Wahl.
Einen sehr ähnlichen Effekt kann man mit Menü Bild > Anpassen > Farbton/Sättigung und einem Haken bei Färben erreichen.
