What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on?
Assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit for the moment
After edit process, you go to Tools/Movie Menu (if you want disc menu), and then to
Publish+Share
Disc
Blu-ray
for the burn to Blu-ray disc format on the Blu-ray disc (25 GB or 50 GB).
Also, remember that, if you use stop markers in your project, the stop markers in Premiere Elements Blu-ray disc format
on Blu-ray disc are not recognized by your player at playback.
In Premiere Elements 12/12.1, Publish+Share/Disc/Blu-ray...disc is your only choice, no burn to folder or to ISO Image.
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.

  • Adobe elements 12 unable create blu ray dvd

I purchased a new computer in October of 2013.  The computer has Windows 8.1, Adobe Premier Elements 12, and an LG (BH16NS40) 16x Blu Ray DVD writer.   The sole purpose of the purchase was to be able to transfer my Sony handycam HD home videos to Blu Ray DVDs.  I was told, this purchase would enable me to do so.  A week later, in October of '13, the 'Best Buy' Geek squad after spending hours on the problem, still could not get the home video to transfer to a Blu ray dvd.  They told me to wait for an Adobe patch/upgrade.  Here I am 6 months later, updated all software & drivers, and I am still getting the "Blu ray dvd media not found" message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The camcorder video came from a sony hdr-cx560.  The video was moved from the camera, to a external hard drive, then to the computer internal c drive, and was successfully imported into an adobe elements project.
I was not able, and am not able to import the video directly from the camera.  My twin 16 year old daughter was killed in an auto accident 10 months ago... and there is fault in three other drivers.  Our legal team took our camera, needing our 1 1/2 year family sony video, for the lawsuit.  They returned the camera empty, but gave us an external hard drive with the video.  I had told them how valuable the video was to us...our only remaining video of the last year and 1/2 of my daughter.  Nonetheless, they copied the video to a hard drive, gave us the hard drive, and returned the camera empty....more stress.
Several months later (Oct 13), my father, a huge fan of adobe premier elements, best buy, and the geek squad, bought us a new computer, with adobe premier elements 12, and a blu ray burner, determined to produce the videos my family ached for.  Like many families, all i want is to be able to film my family in high definition, and play it back from a disc on family televisions without using the camera...just like i used to be able to do with standard definition.
I do not understand your second question, and would like phone assistance.  Please provide a phone number for assistance with this problem.  With a very heavy, exhausted, and frustrated heart, tom

  • Encoding Canon HG20 Video for Blu-Ray

I have a Canon HG20 HD video camera and I'm in the process of encoding and burning some video to Blu-Ray.   I want to maintain high quality on the end result.   I'm using the highest setting on my HG20 camera - 1080 resolution at 24mbs.   From what I've read, the output of this camera is actually in 1080i format.   So when I set the sequence up in Premier CS4 I'm using the 1080i30 (60i) non-anamorphic setting.   Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
I'm then encoding this using Adobe Media Encoder using the HDTV 1080i encoder using the defaul settings - although I'm changing the audio from PCM to Dolby Digital so save a little space.  I'm then burning this to blu-ray using Adobe Encore CS4 using the video which has already been encoded by Media Encoder.
The problem I'm having is when I view the video on the finished blu-ray, the video isn't as smooth flowing as it seems it should be - seems to be just a little jerky.   Based on how I'm importing, encoding and burning this project can someone tell me if I'm doing something incorrectly?
Thanks in advance for any input/advice provided!

    Thanks for the replys!
I went back and rechecked all my work and rebuilt the project over again starting from Premier Pro.   This time it came out fine - so I'm assuming I must of had a setting incorrect on one of the steps in my last process.
I basically imported the video into Premier Pro using the 1080i30 (60i) non-anamorphic setting.   Then I encoded using the1080i 30fps (H.264 Blu Ray) setting from Media Encoder.   Then I added that encoded video to Adobde Encore using the Blu-Ray, H.264 setting and burned the disc.  Of course with a 2-hour long video segment this entire process took a few days
The result of the last burn was great!   The video was very smooth - not jerky like my previous attempt.    So I think as long as I get these setting correct, I should be fine on my futher projects.
    Thanks again for the feedback!

  • Adobe Elements 11 Video Projects

Adobe Elements 11 Video Projects is empty.
I have Adobe Elements 11 and Premiere 11.
I cannot get my Premiere 11 projects to show up in Adobe Elements 11 Organizer Video Projects (left panel under Albums).

Barbara B, thanks for getting me into the correct forum.
ATR, thanks for the answer. I just started using Photoshop Elements 11 (reading its Classroom in a Book) and also Premiere Elements 11 Classroom in a Book page 11 does not show a triangle to the left of "Video Projects".
I have Win 7 64 and my project files (prel) are correctly located in C:\Users\vaughan\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Elements\11.0.
    My error, which was:
When I clicked on the menu items "Albums" or MyFolders (e.g.) it would properly reveal the hidden lists below them.
So, I mistakenly assumed, clicking on the word "Video Projects" would reveal the list of my projects below it.
I should have, as you instructed, clicked on the "right pointing black triangle" to the left of "Video Projects" to reveal the hidden list below it.
    ATR, thanks for your help.

  • I am trying to burn videos to blu-ray DVD

Hi, I am trying to burn videos to blu-ray DVD, but unfortunately Encore is no longer available.  How do I burn DVDs with the software currently available, which software do you recommend, and is there a link to show me how to use the software?  Thanks a lot!

You need Encore CS6 which is bundled with Premiere Pro CS6.
There is no Encore CC so you must install Premiere Pro CS6 in order to get Encore CS6.
Encore CS6 not installed with Creative Cloud

  • HD Video to Blu Ray in Final Cut Express HD

Would like to be able to print HD video to Blu Ray, but not aware of any solutions currently offered by Apple. Are any in the works and if not, what seems to be the best 3rd party solution to achieve this?

Check out the link below and particularly the additional link within where you will learn how to create Bluray discs using your regular redray DVD burner on standard DVD discs, no bluray involved.
This works if the Project is 20 mins or less. You do need Toast 10 or 11, I think 9 may also work plus the Bluray plugin for Toast. Usually you get the plugin with the later versions but check this before you purchase.

You can of course invest in a Bluray burner and use Blurary discs giving you longer record times.
My burner is an external Mercury Pro from Other World Computing. Works just fine.

  • Premiere elements does not recognize Blu-Ray disc, says media not present.  Under 12 I was able to record 3 blu-ray dvds using the same burner and discs I'm trying with 13.  What is the problem?

I installed PE13 and cannot burn blu-ray DVDs.  I was able to burn 3 blu-ray DVDs using PE12.  When I select DVD from the menu it recogniazes that it is not a stadard DVD as I get an 'incorrect media' error message.  It will burn standard DVDs of the same video using standard DVD mefia.
    What is going  on here?
When I loaded PE 12 back on the computer I cannot load a file created with PE13.  Looks like a format change?  Can I convert file back to PE12?

  • Necessary Components to Transfer AVCHD Lite Video to  Blu-Ray Discs

I have AVCHD Lite HD video footage from a Panasonic Lumix DMZ-FZ35 that I wish to transfer to disc in its full reproduction so that I do not have to continue storing it on SDHC memory cards. Is it true that with an 2009 iMac I can achieve this task by utilizing Roxio Toast 10 Titanium along with an external Blu-ray burner or do I need other hardware or software?
Also, I understand that the this video content could be saved on DVD-Rs, but would take up multiple discs vs. a single Blu-Ray disc.
Any websites or forum information available on this concern would be appreciated.

Picking up on my original post about H264 - as I have a dual boot machine I also have a clean  installed Win 7 /64bit partition which I use for general bits of work.
On that I have CyberPowerDVD SW installed which plays all Video files fine including BluRay material etc.
Interestingly when I try to play the file that AME has created from the BluRay H264 preset it says 'It cannot play the file as it is a format it does not recognise...'
This is really weird and would suggest AME is not encoding the file corrrectly??
I have already removed and made a re-install of CS4 on my main [video editing] partition but there were some fragments of CS4 left intact
How do I completely remove everything?
I tried the CS4 clean script but it said it relied on Microsoft CLean Up utility and gave a link
When I loooked on Microsoft web site the link to download it had been removed?
Also Adobe say the CS4 remove script is no longer supported ?
Can anyone advise on the correct tool/procedure to completely remove CS4 from a Win 7/64bit installation so I can then try re-install of CS4 one more time....in case the installation is corrupt in some way
I can't explain why I am having this problem otherwise if other people find AME encodes OK with H264 BluRay preset.

    When was there ever?
On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements running on? If Windows, then please read on....
Some have used the DVDate plug-in to apply a timecode to the Timeline content prior to burn to.
    http://dvdate.ru/
Please see Premiere Elements 12 Daily Discoveries/0014 DV Date Plug-In in Premiere Elements 12
    http://atr935.blogspot.com/2013/09/pe12-daily-discoveries.html
for full information which applies to Premiere Elements 11 as well.
You should be able to copy your homemade Premiere Elements Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc
using the burn software that came with the burner.

  • Exporting HD video to Blu-ray format causes motion blur

    Using Premiere Pro CS4, I have HD video projects that are either 720p30 and 1080i  (60i). The 720p video is  1280x720 (1.0) 60fps. The 1080i footage is 1920x1080 (1.0) at 29.97 fps.
For exporting the video to a format suitable for burning to Blu-ray (using Encore) I've am using  the  MPEG-2 Blu-Ray format using either the HDTV 1080i High  Quality or the  HDTV 720p 59.94 High Quality presets, depending on the  format of the  original video that I'm compiling.
I didn't notice it at first but when I burned first my test Blu-ray disc I found that the video was having some wierd exaggerated motion blur characteristics going on. Any abrupt movment, such as a person turning their head or a video box shrinking from full screen to half screen would be wildly blurred. I thought it might have been a result of the burn but I subsequently found the problem was introduced during the video export process in Premiere Pro. I just didn't catch it because I wasn't looking closely enough.
Because I am using the default settings for the two presets cited above I'm at a loss about what is introducting this blur or how to go about mitigating it. Anyone got any tips? What could be having such a problem making motion which shouldn't blur too much blur so badly? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Ok, I'm stumped for the moment. To better illustrate what's going on I'll post some pics of the problem. I'm using a piece of video that's not part of my projects but it does illustrate what's going on pretty well.
The first is what Premiere Pro is displaying for the source video. I'm currently using a Sequence Preset of DVCPROHD 720P 60P even though I don't have the hardware for it. The reason being is it stopped the blur from happening in the timeline and I think that's because this preset had a 59.94 fps preset and the source video was 60fps.
    http://www.imagebam.com/image/7bd0af110335520
The second is a Premiere Pro frame grab of what the source video file looks like. I'm using an export of Windows Bitmap with a preset of HD Square Pixel Bitmap 720p. I'm using the Progressive setting because if I choose either Upper or Lower first the image looks even worse.
    http://www.imagebam.com/image/9aa895110335495
The third is a Premiere Pro frame grab of what the exported video file looks like. The video was exported using MPEG Blu-ray with a preset of HDTV 720p 59.94 High Quality with no modifications. I'm using an export of Windows Bitmap with a preset of HD Square  Pixel Bitmap 720p. I'm using the Progressive setting because if I choose  either Upper or Lower first the image looks even worse. Incidentally, this exported video displays in the Premiere Pro timeline with visible motion blur characteristics whereas the source video did not.
    http://www.imagebam.com/image/3a2a60110335483
    What these images show.
    1) The source video displays crisp in Premiere Pro even though this is footage of a video transition.
    2) The source video exports out with some motion blur.
    3) When you do a frame grab of the exported video the motion blur of the exported video increases.
As I said, I'm stumped. I've tried modifying every setting in the exporter for  MPEG Blu-ray with a preset of HDTV 720p 59.94 High Quality and I can't stop this blur. I looked at the H.264 Blu-ray setting but it appears useless. Every time I try to export, the exported video crashes Media Player and when I load it into Premiere Pro I see the video now has motion blur.
At this point I'm wondering if upgrading to CS5 will make a difference or not. That's about the only thing I can think of that I haven't tried yet.

  • Does Adobe Elements 13 video capture work with Firewire for DV videotapes?

I just spent $120 to upgrade to Premiere Elements 13, and it doesn't recognize my Sony DV tape recorder/player.  I was searching on the web and thought I saw somewhere that Premiere Elements 13 dropped firewire support, but I can't relocate the information. Maybe the audio  track is longer than the clip? Or the video may just need trimming.
