Mix Radio pauses after each Song in offline mode

Hey everyone,
I am encountering some trouble when usign mix radio in offline mode. More precisely I have a Mix downloaded to the device. After each song, music pauses and I have to resume manually. I do not know if disabling the mobile internet connection does help, but when at home on WiFi, the problem does not occur. I.e. I have the impression that offline mix radio with mobile internet enabled has open issues. Any hints on how to resolve this?
Felix

Hi fresnel,
thanks for your message. I tried it once after I read your message and it worked. But then I plug in a stereo jack to listen to the music via external boxes, it pauses again after each song. However, I recognized that some other people have the same problem. I read some comments in the marketplace, referring to pausing after each song.
In addition, sometimes I have to start mix radio twice because it stop at the loading page after starting. I have to press the back button and start mix radio again in order to get it work.
I am not sure if the problem occurs only with a stereo jack plugged in or not. I can try, but I would like the program to work whether I plug in something or not.

  • Playback stopping after each song

Everytime I try and play a playlist, or album from the library, the songs do not continuously play. After each song I have to restart the next song. They all play fine, they just no longer continuously play. Did I hit a button or something that I shouldn't have? I have looked all over trying to find the answer to this one, but could find no topic that addressed this.
    TIA

Are there check marks beside all the songs in the playlist/library? Unchecked songs have to be clicked on individually to play them, checked songs will play one after the other. If you hold down the CRTL key and click beside any song in your list then all the check boxes can be toggled on or off: iTunes - Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows

  • How to pause after each chapter?

I have a 30 minute video with 12 scenes (chapters).
I would like to play each of the scenes (chapters)
with an automatic pause between each one,
and use the DVD's "PLAY" button to continue
    the video after each pause.
How do I configure iDVD to pause after each chapter?
    Thanks,
    David

    Hi
There is one major miss in all iDVD versions and this is the mirror effect of same problem.
There are no "Play all" button in iDVD
and in Your case there is no opposit either.
You'll need to put in each Chapter as an individual movie. Then You can play Chaper 1
and follow with Chapter 4 or what order and pauses You want.
Then if You want a "Play all" You just keep the full movie.
(Usually I have to recommend the building of the full movie when there are
lot's of small parts and people wan't the "Play-all" button)
You made this and have to do the parts instead.
Yes this will reduce the time/space awailably to about half.
    alt.
Use Roxio Toast™ or DVD Studio Pro where this can be done without doubeling up
    the material.

  • Creative Muvo stops after each song

My creative muvo has begun to stop play after each song. You have to scroll to the next song manually. Has anyone had this problem? (The battery is fully charged)

If the Play Mode is set to normal then that shouldn't happen. Could be a problem with the files on the unit, you could try formatting it and then transfer some new tracks over (rip them from CD for example). It might help aswell to update the firmware.
You didn't mention which MuVo it is exactly, but if there is a firmware update available for it, it'll be in the Downloads section (Support > Downloads).

  • ITunes skips after each song.

Does anyone know why iTunes will start skipping after each song during the crossfade process? It's like iTunes hangs up and skips during that time and causes my computer to hang for a sec during that time.

I only recently started using crossfade to try and eliminate the gaps between songs which are continuous across tracks. Recently "gapless albums" stopped working for me and I'm trying to resolve that issue!
BTW, I did notice that if you have "Gapless album" checked, the crossfade will not activate for those songs. But when I unchecked "gapless album", I still got a "skip" during the crossfade.

  • NAL- Pause After Each App Is Delivered

Is there a way to pause/prompt after each NAL is delivered to the workstation? New to the environment and I am trying to determine exactly what NALs are being delivered during each user login. Although NALDIAG is useful it is not exactly what I want to use to identify the login NAL delivery process.
    Thanks,

  • "Random" play doesn't work, stops after each song; multiple plays of same

One of the more annoying things happening: random doesn't work.
I've gone through the Zen Media Explorer, reformated the Zen player, so there were no songs on it.
Went and built a list of 37 songs and uploaded via Zen Media Player to the Zen player.
Went to "Music" and selected "All Tracks"
Set my "System" "Audio Settings" for "random" play.
I had to pick the first song to start it off.
It played the first 5 or so songs correctly.
    Then it stopped.
I used the bottom arrow key to "play" the next song. Then it stopped AGAIN.
Now I'm manually making each song play! This goes on for 4-5 songs, then it starts playing automatically - but repeating the songs it has already played. It does not go near the other 28 or so songs that I have not heard yet!
I go back to "Music" and re-set to "All Tracks"
I go back to "System" "Audio Settings" and re-set to play "random"
And it does this annoying routine all over again.
Went back to "System" "Audio Settings" and picked "normal" this time. So of course, its playing all the same songs I've heard over again.
I have to manually cruise the "All Tracks" to pick what I want to hear.
Can anyone help me with this? I can't stand it anymore.

If you installed any software to work with the mouse, remove it according to the developer's instructions, then restart the computer and test. Back up all data before making any changes.

  • Apple TV 3 audio signal goes off after each song?

My Sony receiver has to reaquire the audio signal from the ATV 3 at the beginning of each song when streaming songs from the Mac. This causes a fraction of the beginning of each song to be missing. Very irritating. There is a clicking noise at the end of each song as the receiver loses the audio signal at the end of each song. Is there a way to work around this?

    Hi iman911,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Take a look at the article linked below, it provides a lot of great audio troubleshooting tips that may be able to resolve the audio issues that you’re seeing with some apps on your Apple TV.

  • Stop after each song

I have an older iPod and I can make it play one song in a Playlist and then stop, manually starting the next. I just got an iPod Touch and the same trick (skip when shuffling) doesn't work on it. How can I make it play a song and stop?

If you're really determined to do that, set each song in the Playlist to Skip when shuffling and then play the Playlist in song shuffle mode. Because every other song in the list is set to skip when shuffle is used, there would be no other songs, in the list, to be played.
    However, a word of caution;
you set Skip when shuffling in your iTunes Library, so set each song (highlight the song and select File/Get Info/Info/Options>Skip when shuffling and then connect the iPod to iTunes so it can Sync (synchronise) the changes. If you cannot see the File menu, right-click each song to see the context menu.
once set to Skip when shuffling, it will apply whenever the iPod is in shuffle mode. Those songs will not play in shuffle mode.
if you use Manually Manage, instead of Sync, then you will need to remove each song from the iPod, make the changes in your iTunes Library and then put the song back onto the iPod.

  • AirTunes stops streaming after each song but iTunes shows it playing

I've read through a lot of posts and either people are having the same issue just describing them differently or I'm seeing an entirely different issue.
My setup is Windows Vista running iTunes 8, Airport Express and an iPod Touch running the Remote app. I just bought it all yesterday and did all the firmware and software updates it asked me to when setting it all up.
I had it setup wirelessly and working -- the remote controlled iTunes which send audio to my AE and it worked beautifully. Then I realized the music stopped, I went to check and iTunes still showed the music playing, but no sound was coming out of the remote speakers. If I change the speaker output to computer then back to the remote speakers it starts playing again.
I've disabled wireless on the AE and put a long wire across to rule out wirless interference or problems. I've disabled the Windows Vista firewall as well.
I've tested both from the remote and from using iTunes directly. So I've ruled out the Remote App from the equation (I think). I say that, because first thing this morning I ran using just iTunes and it worked for 15 straight songs. I used the remote to change albums and start another and after the first song played it went silent. I noticed in iTunes a playlist called "Remote" comes up so I was thinking the Remote was causing it. I switched over to my library local on iTunes again removing the remote and it keeps happening anyway. So I'm not sure if by using the remote I put it in this "state" or if it's really not the Remotes problem.
OK, so once it happens, it stops streaming after very single song however iTunes still shows it's playing fine. To fix, turn the speaker off then on again or switch to computer then back to remote again. It works doing this via the Remote App or on iTunes directly.
This is FRUSTRATING! I spent a lot of money on the iPod, AE and getting a cheap stereo receiver/amp to feed my in-house speakers and now it's pretty much not even useful.
    Suggestions? Help? Anything?

I wanted to post a follow-up. I solved my own issue after starting to rule out every possible cause.
I have a Western Digital networked hard drive (NAS) which houses all of my MP3's. I knew accessing this drive was pretty slow but I've had my MP3's on it and iTunes' library is all coming off this drive. It has worked fine on my computer for years. However, it appears that the lag doesn't play nice with AirTunes.
I moved my entire iTunes library (about 80 GB) to my local machine's hard drive, rebuilt my library and now it plays flawlessly!
Just so people know, I've updated firmware on the AirportExpress and the iPod Touch, I have the new version of Remote on the touch and am running iTunes 8 on Windows Vista with its library on the local harddrive. No glitches, pauses, or problems. I ran it for 6 hours during a party over the weekend without flaw.

  • Stopping after each song has finished

Is it possible to set up the iPod shuffle so that when a song has finished playing it stops/pauses. Instead of continuing to the next song?

Haven't tried it on a shuffle, but here is an idea.
In iTunes, set up a playlist of the stuff you want on the shuffle. Now UNCHECK all the boxes in front of those songs. Also select all then do a get info and check the box to "skip when shuffling". I am not sure if that setting will effect how the songs play on the shuffle or not, but worth a try. If the shuffle does use that setting, then when you play a track, it should stop after that track since all the songs on the shuffle are unchecked and will be skipped.

  • Why does iTunes Stop after each song?

I have notice that it's only on songs that is lighter (not the Bold songs). I do have iTunes Match and iCloud, does that have anything to do with it?

Time to learn the "Up Next" feature.
If your music is paused, use right-click (ctrl-click) on a song to "Play Next" (puts on the top of the queue) or "Add to Up Next" (add to the end of the queue).
Go to the "Up Next" Menu in the View Menu (or click the icon in the control bar that looks like three horizontal bars).
    Select your song.
In some conditions, the rest of the your playlist will show up below your addition.  When you scroll down the Up Next list you may see "Back To: " at the end of the list.  Press CLEAR to be sure your selection(s) are the only songs played.
