Mixed content error for FIORI launchpad designer

Dear team,
I have activated a ERP trial on AWS via CAL. Fiori launchpad and designer opens and works properly but when I am creating new tiles in a catalog, none of information on tile gets saved.
I checked in Chrome console and following error is recorded when saving a tile:
After allowing unsafe scripts, error changed to following:

Hi Anuraag,
Please open the launchpad designer with http (not https). If you can not logon via http, change the protocol to "Do not switch" in the SICF setting.

We have installed the new UIX* Fiori components on our NW 7.31 front-end server which has the gateway installed as well. Our backend ERP system is a separate system.
I have activated the OData services /UI2/INTEROP and /UI2/TRANSPORT for the Fiori Launchpad Designer. I am acessing the Launchpad Designer with the URL http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html. (I have activated the ICF service /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn).

Fiori Launchpad Designer configuration issue

Hello All,
Query 1 :
During "Launchpad Designer " configuration when we create Transport requests using scope=CONF to the url and click on "settings" button to create the package , i face the below error:
Error message : "error 400 bad request in Odata response for GET /SAP/OPU/ODATA/UI2/TRANSPORT/PACKAGE/ZLAOMySpend/:HTTP request failed" . Details :package ZXXOMySpend does not exist”
After which we created a new package under SE80 with the same PACKAGE name (ZXXOMySpend) , then when I clicked on “save” the above error was gone.
Is it the right step ?

To create a custom role in the gateway system (using PFCG tcode) to add the catalog and assign the role to needed users
Steps followed :
PFCG -->created a role using "single role"
selected "Transaction" and then selected the TYPE "Catalog"
When a popup arrived and selected the catalog created on the Fiori launchpad designer.
Earlier we were using the under transaction "TYPE" as "Catalog Provider" now is it changed to "catalog" ? as we dont see this option on the drop down.
could you please confirm the above?

Fiori Launchpad Designer error 400

Fiori launchpad designer: missing tile templates

Dear all,
We have installed the PPM Fiori apps on our system; we have managed to get these apps on the launchpad. Now we want to add a custom app to the catalog. If we start the launchpad designer and click on the catalog and then on the "+" to add another tile we should be able to select one of the 4 tile templates. However this page is completely emtpy.
Does anyone have a clue what is missing?

Have you done deleting cache?
Post processing and Recheck
Having done your changes run the report /UI2/CHIP_SYNCHRONIZE_CACHE and check the errors are not in table /UI2/CHIP_CHDR any longer.
If your changes have not been effective you might have to run report /UI2/DELETE_CACHE_AFTER_IMP to clear the server side cache for PAGES.

Mixed Content Error in Application Preview

Apologies if this has already been addressed. I searched the messages but didn't find one covering this issue.
When I run a UI5 application in preview from the Web IDE I am getting the following error when I try to call an OData service via HTTP.
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://webidetestingrxxxnnn.dispatcher.us1.hana.ondemand.com/inde…ashboard&origional-url=index.html&sap-ui-language=en&sap-ui-xx-fakeOS=ipad' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://sapsn1.nnn.com:8000/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_HR_PEND_APPROVALS_SRV/$metadata?sap-client=020'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
I'm checking with the Gateway team to see if we can get the service available via HTTPS, but I was wondering if there was any configuration option in the HCP cockpit or Web IDE to override this restriction.

How is the service added to the project?
Like Maksim suggested, a destination and mapping can be used. Perhaps you've already have done so, but services can be used to create projects with destination usage from Web IDE templates.
Using an example of an on-premise front-end ABAP system with Gateway components,
Create a service in the on-premise system
Use SAP Cloud Connector to connect the on-premise system with SAP HANA Cloud Platform
Configure a destination for the on-premise system in HCP
Create a project from template (Fiori, SAPUI5, etc) in Web IDE using the destination and service endpoint
The destination and mapping are automatically generated in the project.

Error in Fiori Launchpad "could not start the app due..."

Hello everyone,
I am having a previously unseen (well, at least for me) error which raises on a click on the tile "Track Purchase Orders" on the SAP Fiori Launchpad:
"Could not start the app due to an internal error" (see the screenshot attached)
I haven't found any help on this error on Google and SAP portals.
The other applications work fine. So did this one before the implementation of SAP_UI 740 SP09 (before that it was SAP_UI 740 SP08). We applied all the notes specified in this post http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-56967
Components needed for Track Purchase Orders are patched to their maximum levels (UIX01EAP 100 SP03 and SRA020 600 SP05). OData and UI5 services are activated.
Plus, this error doesn't appear in the Gateway error logs (transaction /iwfnd/error_log) so troubleshooting is difficult.
The issue is systematically reproducible and has been reproduced on several computers.

I'm surprised that gbapp_poapproval and sra001 OData services are called here (with an intriguing ";mo")... We have found these errors in our /iwfnd/error_log screen after the SAP_UI 740 SP09 patch. Seeing this, we have installed GBAPP002 600 SP6 and SRA001 600 SP4 and activated the OData services but have not tried to use the corresponding apps (meaning that we have not done any other app implementation tasks because we don't really intend to for the moment).

HTTP Status 404 error for FIORI Application deployed on HCP

Hello Experts,
I have created a Fiori App using Web IDE and deployed it on my trial account of HCP .
The Gateway service used is from On Premise system. I have used SAP Cloud Connector to connect Hana cloud Platform and on premise system.
In Web IDE test application works fine. However, when I deploy it and access the application URL I am getting the error "HTTP Status 404" as shown in the screenshot.
In Chrome Developer Console shows below error
"Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)". I have checked many threads but could not find the solutions.

Does your firoi app have index.html file ? If yes, is it placed in the root folder of your app ?
I guess you're missing out the index.html in your fiori app. You may be having Component.js as the entry point which will run only with Fiori launchpad. But to run fiori app as standalone, you need to create the index.html file.
You can try accessing your component.js file by adding a '/Component.js' at the end of the url to know if you're app has been deployed properly as of now.

I have done a search and took a look to: SAP Fiori - SAP Fiori launchpad troubleshooting
but Im not able to find something matching regarding my issue or maybe dont understood something properly. In fact the message is telling me gateway is down, as I got it the demo case should contain anything that needs to run Fiori stuff properly. Did I missed some configuration maybe? Thank you,

After systhesis When I open the synthesised design I am getting this message (given below).
I have tried after deleting all files inside the .Xilinx folder, still I am getting the same error.
If I choose Systesis option -flatten_hierarchy = full then this message will not come. for other two values -flatten_hierarchy = rebuild and -flatten_hierarchy = none the following message comes.

You must define equal fields/InfoObejcts in Source and Target, you need to open the start rotine in transformations and add manually, it will work.

Looking for a HTTPS/HTTP mixed content "sniffer" tool

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I am looking for a tool/addon that can point out exact what on the page is triggering a mixed content error. The browser will tell me that something on the page is not secure, but it won't tell me where or what the non secure item is so I can fix it.
Here is my recent example of this problem.
I had a issue with a HTTPS page with a doubleclick tracking pixel on it. It was a standard tracking pixel iframed on to the page and the page iframed was HTTPS with no cert problems. It turned out that the page being iframed has a javascript call that was HTTP and this was triggering the mixed content error.
Unfortunately it took me almost two days to figure out the page being iframed was making the non-ssl call, not anything on the site.
If anyone here could help me find a tool or point to a browser feature that I don't know about that could help me sniff out these mixed content error faster you would make my life so much easier.

You can glean a little more information from Firefox's Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+j). Mixed content blocks generate a log entry in the security category. If you enter mix in the filter box in the upper right of the console, that should help drill down on the message. (Screen shot example attached.)
Now... you still need to figure out what is generating the request, but hopefully this will help.

Hi Masa,
The CRM version in our landscape is : CRM 7.0 EHP3
But we have installed below versions in Fiori.
UIX02CRM (release 100) SP3.
GBX02CRM SP3
Please suggest whether we need to uninstall them and install new versions(CRM001-CRM 7.0 EhP3 SPS07).
Also system does not allow to uninstall existing components. Please advice on this.

Fiori Launchpad - Basic authentication popup

Hi,
I have used the std. class /UI2/CL_SRA_LOGIN for Fiori launchpad log in screen. When there is no user action for long time and the session cookie gets expired; any operation performed(like selecting an app) in this case is bringing a browser basic authentication popup.
How to avoid this by either taking the user to initial login screen instead of the authentication popup ?

Please upload the screenshot. Is it critical issue or just a nice to have?
From end user point of view, I prefer popup because I can continue the work from the last point. The best is IT sets up SSO.
