Mixing CS 5 and CS 5.5 installations

I currently have Adobe CS5 Design Premium installed.
I need to have my ancient copy of Flash CS3 installed *alongside* the CS5 installation. I also now have standalone copies of Flash CS 5.5, Flash Catalyst CS 5.5 and Flash Builder 4.5 that I would also like to install *alongside* my CS5 and Flash CS3 installations. What's the best way to go about install all of this?
Flash Builder shouldn't be a problem as I don't have another copy of it installed.
For Flash Catalyst, I'm thinking I can uninstall it from the Design Premium CS5 installer and then install the Catalyst CS 5.5 standalone of it. Will that work?
But I need all of the various versions of Flash for backwards compatibilty with FLAs. Do I just install each into their own folders? Will that work OK?
I'm on Windows 7, 64-bit

Please confirm if you have Adobe application manager or Creative cloud app, re-download whichever you have via:
Adobe application manager: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
Creative cloud App: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Launch and try to update, if that doesn't resolve the problem then rename OOBE folder to OOBE.old
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Restart the machine and check.

The link below describes how to scale SharePoint Web Front-End with only web applications and the search query server out of one SharePoint server with all roles running.

Now you have two SharePoint server with:
Tier 1 – SharePoint Server dedicated as a Web Front-End (WFE) with only the web application(s) and the search query service running on it
Tier 2 – SharePoint Server dedicated as an Application Server with all of the other service applications running on it, but no web applications or query service
Tier 3 – SQL Server for the databases
Then you would scale out WFE server with web applications from tier1. Now please install a new SharePoint server and join it to the existing farm and deploy it as Web Front Server. Enable the relevant services on Web Front servers per the topology picture
below, and stop the services running on the old server.

Is there a way to "mix" the nodes and leaves of the tree so that even if they are at the same level (1,2,3...), they will display in a specified order (via sort sequence, alphabetical, etc.).
History:
We are using the Tree UI element to display/manage a material bom interface. We seem to be running into an issue with displaying the nodes/leaves of the tree.. regardless of the order that the context is built (which is currently the order of the exploded BOM from from CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2), the bom is displayed with the nested boms at the top of each level and the single materials below them. For example. If TK1 contains Material1, Material2, Material3, Kit1(containing component1, comp2, comp3), Material4, Kit2(containing comp4, comp5, comp6), and Material5 (in this order), the tree will display with the A level node as TK1, the next node as Kit1 (with its subleaves of comp1,comp2,comp3), Kit2(with subleaves of comp4,comp5,comp6), THEN Material1, material2, material3, material4, material5. Our users are adamant about the items displaying in the correct order (which should be alphabetical based on the description for one report and by location for purposes of inventory for another). I've searched but not been able to locate a similar question. If I've missed it, please point me in the right direction. The users want the tree, not a "tree" table. This is our first attempt at the tree, so maybe we're missing something basic?

co-workers said example picture is misleading.. we can make the order work if everything is a "folder" but not a mix of "folders" and "files" (if making a visual reference to the windows browser). i.e - a file is represented as an empty folder.

Hi all
Have seen a couple threads regarding this but unfortunately nothing that solves my problem thus far!
Right now, our developers are using the Domain Admin account to promote their website code using MSI files. I'd like to change this as I feel the Domain Admin account should be on lock down and only used when absolutely necessary, pretty common. The
same goes for my account too, I would like to absolve as much use of the Domain Admin as I can.
Problem is, when they run installers from their own accounts, they receive this error: You do not have sufficient privileges
to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation
The accounts they are using are part of the Built In Administrators group and the Domain Admins group... I'm not sure what other permission you'd need in a domain? We've gone as far as explicitly giving them local admin access on this server and still
nothing changes.
Is there a Group Policy or something that I can change to provide install rights and possibly remove these accounts as Domain Admin and more along the line of Power User?

With a single user license, you can install Acrobat on maximum two computers, say, your laptop at work and desktop at office.
But, you cannot use Acrobat on both the machines simultaneously.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from the old machine, then install and activate the software on the new OS with the same serial key.

MariaDB, PHP, and mysql_connect() issue on Installation scripts

I searched for this issue and turned out nothing..
I am using an installation script on my web server and i get this error:
function mysql_connect() not found:
Your system does not appear to have mysql available within php
I followed the wiki and have uncommented the following lines
extension=pdo_mysql.so
extension=mysqli.so
extension=mysql.so
I have also restarted the httpd daemon several times. I am using MariaDB because I know arch is dropping mysql. I followed the MariaDB wiki too and have it set-up properly.

MySQL is running as I have set-up a database and user for this installation script.

I dropped to the command line and tried to run php and realized that mysql.so was named mssql.so..
so for anyone that has this issue, when you install php, unless they change it next release, that's a typo you have to fix when uncommented the mysql extension

ORA-604 and ORA-4031 during installation of SAP

Hi,
I tried to install Oracle 10.2.0.2 on Windows 2003 with SAP R3E 47X2.
However, during the installation on the Database Load phases it pops up a ORA-604 and ORA-4031 error log. It was unable to completed the Database Load phase showed as R3 load jobs: running 1, waiting 0.
I tried to set the share pool in init.ora as shared_pool_size = 40000000. It still show up as shared memory issue.

I have checked up only the mandatory components during install and now I see that the platform pack has not installed any database.
Am I doing anything wrong? Do I have to check up any of the optional components?
Does the Platform Pack work correctly without any database?
The same questions please even for the Deployment Server.
Please help me on this.

do you try to install from a Network share ?
If yes copy the .exe to the local disk of the Server and re- run the Installation routine.
First the package gets extracted to your profile of the user which is logged on the Server. In the TEMP directory directly.
After the package is extracted copy the TEMP dir. from the user to somwhere else (f.e. C:\) and from there run the "setup.exe"

Mix of Arabic and English causes problems in JTextArea

I have a JTextArea which displays HTML of an Arabic web page. So it's essentially a mix of English and Arabic. In the JTextArea, with columns set to 30, certain text just disappears instead of wrapping properly. The weird thing is that if I copy the invisible text and paste it into Notepad, then I can see it in Notepad. If I change the number of columns to 40, everything displays fine. Any ideas?

It seems that Arabic is not the problem here. It is something to do with tabs. All the lines that disappear begin with 5 tabs. If I remove one tab so that they begin with 4 tabs, then they appear fine in the JTextArea

Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. CoreMedia.dll is part of Apple Application Support.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Mixed content - https and http

Guys and Gals -
I have a page that has mixed content - http and https. Users talk to my webserver
using https, which talks to the portal server using http.
The browser popups a warning saying that the site has mixed content. Is there
any way to prevent this warning from coming up? Anything I can do using a proxy
or something else?
