Mixing Overdubs and Armonies... more vocal tips and Qs

I've read with interest the topic started by Steve Djokes about vocal recording and mixing techniques.
Some more questions:
1) How do you use to EQ the vocal armonies? I use to low cut them a lot, with a 6db/oct hi pass filter or a shelv, to make them more "airy". For example on my last song I've put a 6db low cut at around 700Hz.
2) What about the reverb? Do you use a specific reverb for the armonies? Do you use a mix of wet and dry signal or just the wet one?
I know there are no universal answers, just curious about your "average" workflow.
To Steve: here's how I use to EQ my main female vocal (I produce Dance)
Low Cut @ 80-100 Hz
Low Shelv @ 160-250 Hz, from -0.5 to -3 db, based on the timbre and key of the song
Hi Shelv @ 7000 Hz, from 0 to +2db
Sometimes, I use the "microscope EQ" technique; very narrow Q, very high gain (8,10 db), then I search for the offending freqs around 2.5 to 4KHz; if I find a harsh resonance, then I reverse the gain (-0.5 to -3db) and sometimes I open the bell a bit. Usually this works well.
All with the Sonalksis SV-517 eq. But I think I will buy an analog channel strip soon (SSL).

Try reading this AudioMasters thread and also follow the link in it to the String Line Mix primer. It's not the definitive answer, but a shove in the right direction. Also, if you look on iZotope's website here you will find their mastering guide, which is a free download.
