ML keeps asking me to connect to webdav server

I used to have a webdisk account with godaddy, and I use the Go > Connect to Server... option in Finder to access it. I no longer have that account, and I ejected the drive before cancelling it, but now everytime I reboot my Mac it asks me to connect to that server. I can't find a way to stop it, can someone help?
EDIT: Just so you know, I deleted everything from the Connect dialog. Also, there's no drive or apps request at the startup panel. I did had GoDaddy's desktop tools installed, but I used the uninstaller provided by them to remove it before cancelling the account.

Turn off wifi or go under settings-wifi-ask to join networks off.
Siri works over 3G, you don't need wifi.

IPad 1st generation keeps asking to be connected to iTunes every time

Hi,
My 2nd iPad (1st generation) keeps asking to be connected every time it wakes up either from turn off or standby. I am really tired of restoring the same stuff again and again. If I am less lucky that day, Apple logo freezes forever until iPad gets so hot.
Are there any suggestions? I am using latest version of iTunes, tried connecting to Windows PC using different ports and 4 different cables, there are no security conflicts etc or TCP/IP issues.
Shall I return it to Apple? It is only 7 days that I had this delivered. I do not want to worship to this gadget - want to read my stuff, check my emails and all basic stuff. Tired of recovering 2-3 times a day. Waste of my time.

Was searching and trying all kinds of solutions - Apple suggests some very complicated ones as well...
I was not able to connect to my itunes and/or sync because of it... I found this in another thread and it solved my issues and everything is working for me now...
I found this, easy enough to follow solution that actually worked. in a single user's post in the forums here somewhere. Can't find it again to say thanks to whoever it was, which prompted me to post it everywhere so everyone else can find it:
(Note: this is for Windows 8, but the solution for other versions is similar - you might need to try a few other folders, but are still looking for "Apple Device" under "Device Manager".)
Connect your iPad/iPhone/iPod to your PC
Go to: Control Panel > Device Manager
Click on: Portable Devices
Right click on: Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod > Update Driver Software
Choose: Browse my computer for driver software.
Go to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
Click okay and everything should suddenly work fine again. (I can't remember if I had to choose "trust" again, but if I did, I only had to do it the once and everything was fixed after that).

its a common message but could be due to several possible causes
try this
close the mail app by double tapping the home button, swipe the screen until you see the large icon of the mail app. Swipe the app up and off the screen to close. Tap the home button to return to home screen. Open mail app again.
if that didn't work, then...
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
Unplug your wifi router for 5-10 minutes and at the same time reset settings on the ipad
settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(no data will be lost)

E90 Maps keeps asking for Internet Connection

Why does E90 Maps keep asking for internet?
"No Internet connection. Please check your Network settings"
And even if there is Internet connection via wifi and telco's data service, Maps doesn't seem to see it.
How do I stop it from asking?

Found out that it can be done !

To prevent the device from automatically downloading maps through the internet, for example, when you are outside your
home cellular network, select Options > Settings > Network > Use network > Off.

For the N95, if you select to set the Network to 'when need', then the phone will give you a chance to select the access point. Try selecting the right one -- WLAN/ Telco.

Firewall keeps asking if incoming connections are allowed

Hi all,
Why does the Leopard firewall keep asking me if a application should allow or deny incoming connections for every application that I run? It doesn't happen everytime I ran an application but it happens quite often even for apps that I've already clicked on [Deny]. This is getting really, really annoying. First, why do all apps seem to want to allow incoming connections?
Is there a list of essential Mac OS apps that really need to allow incoming connections? I am not doing and file/printer/connection sharing. And I don't use iChat or any other IM software.
Is there a better software firewall to use with Leopard on my Mac Pro? I have a hardware firewall, a D-Link DIR-655 router, which seems to do quite well. BTW, I have the Mac firewall set to allow specific apps.

Basically all you have to do is delete iTunes and iPhoto from your firewall access list. OSX already knows how to selectively open the ports for these bundled apps. When you put them onto the firewall access list, something goes wrong and it has to ask for permission every time.

I am unable to restore my iPad. iTunes keeps coming up with "unknown error (3004)" I have updated my Windows, tried searching for apple updates, but keep being told "cannot connect to apple server" HELP PLEASE

The whole problem started when I was syncing my iPad to update it. iTunes for some reason, put it into recovery mode. I have done all the hints and tips for the error code, checked my internet connection & tried to restore on another computer, but it required an update of iTunes and would not connect to Apple server either.

Here is the work around:
When and if you get the same error it will prompt you to select one of three choices:
You have to select the LAST choice ---either Cancel (if you do this you will keep going around in circles), Restore to YOUR settings (which is really a trick question), or Restore to Factory (sorry I can't recall exact language)
Then in itunes select your ipad under "Devices" if it doesn't automatically...(YOU CAN SKIP TO #5)
There will be 3 Boxes in the "Summary" screen for you to choose from:
VERSION: DO NOT SELECT RESTORE, BACK.. I selected "Back up to this computer", OPTIONS: click on which ever box you desire (I did #1 & #2). Then I selected "CONFIGURE UNIVERSAL ACCESS" and hit "OK".
In the bottom right hand corner you will see two choices, select "SYNC" and your ipad & computer should start the syncing process which could last a LONG time depending on how much data you have backed up.
Sorry if this doesn't work for you but it's working so far for me! Good luck...and Apple please don't do this again! So very confusing!

Can't Connect to WebDAV Server

Greetings fellow forum. I'm hoping that someone can help me out here.
My problem is this, i recently set up my office computer (referred to as G5) as a webDAV server so that i can publish my iCal calendars. I have a wireless enable PBG4 which i'm trying to use from home to log into the server to publish the calendar. My setups are as follows:
HOME:
PBG4 with Airport connecting through a Linksys wireless router for internet access
OFFICE:
G5 with webDAV enabled, connected to the studio's ethernet network which is also on a router.
when i'm at the office, i can connect perfectly to the server to publish the calendar. When at home i get a connection error stating "You cannot connect to this server because it can't be found...."
The IP address for the G5 hasn't changed so i know i'm using the proper address. My question is, is there anything special i need to do to get this to work from home? Does the G5 have to stay logged into a specific account (the computer is on, just logged off)? Do either of the routers have anything to do with me not being able to connect?

Can't connect to WebDAV server via Go:Connect to Server

Setting up remote access on a ReadyNAS duo (posted over in NetGear's forums, too, but this seems more like an Apple issue), using WebDAV.
I can connect via a browser, but can't connect from the finder.
I'm using an address in the format https://0.0.0.0/directoryName -- I get a dialog for user and password, and it correctly authenticates, but then immediately gives me the following error: "You cannot connect to this server because it cannot be found on the network. Try again later or try a different URL."
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Keep getting error:Cannot connect to update server.Partial update...

I am using FF 6.0.1
I keep seeing a window pop up that says something like:
connect to update server
partial update failed
Have no idea what is going on, this has been popping up for quite awhile. When I chose the RETRY button, it sits there and the long bar that shows the progress never fills in..

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Unable to connect to WebDAV server in nautilus

Nautilus 3.6.3
Even though Nautilus is _supposed_ to be able to connect to WebDAV servers, as here:
WebDAV and Secure WebDAV
Based on the HTTP protocol used on the web, WebDAV is sometimes used to share files on a local network and to store files on the internet. If the server you're connecting to supports secure connections, you should choose this option. Secure WebDAV uses strong SSL encryption, so that other users can't see your password.
A typical WebDAV URL looks like this:
http://example.hostname.com/path
Nautilus doesn't recognise http and https servers. Nautilus does recognise dav://, but when I try to connect, I get and error saying Unhandled error message: HTTP Error: Moved Permanently

Just for any other people having problems with nautilus and webdav....I found that nautilus does not support 301/302 redirects. But strangely windows explorer.exe, kde dolphin and osx finder.app all support redirects. An example being, if your url is http and redirects to https this means nautilus will not take a dav:// and redirect it to davs:// ...sigh. So when using nautilus make sure you use an address that does not redirect otherwise you will get a Unhandled error message: HTTP Error: Moved Permanently as it doesn't follow the redirect.

After updating the iphone to ios6 the other day I have been unable to access my mail. Everytime I try and load it says cannot connect to the server. I have internet connection. Not sure what else to do. Help
