ML81N- actual hours show up as 1 ACT on PM order

Hello all,
When confirming hours via service entry sheet the actual hours that were posted disappear in the actual posting the PM order.
In ML81N i confirm 3 line items,
line 1: 2H on 15.02.2010
line 1: 6H on 16.02.2010
line 1: 4H on 18.02.2010
All these confirmations are displayed on the PM order as 1 ACT. The thing is, when using ML81N and cofirming towards a WBS element, the Hours DO show up when checking the postings on the WBS element...and not everything is combined into 1 ACT.
I suspect this has to do with the settings in the service master or maybe the customizing regarding completion confirmations or maybe even with the setup of the PO. But so far i have not been able to discover the cause of this issue.
I hope somebody can help me.

I have tested several scenario's and i have determined thatit has to do with the PO created. I have found 1 PO that gives me the desired result (the good PO). I tried to copy the PO exactly, but i can not get it to work:
I believe i made the same settings
Account assignment: U
Item category: D
no usage of service master
Good PO:
Booked on WBS element directly: hours show in CJI3 on actual postings
Booked on PM order: hours show in actual postings of PM order
My own PO:
booked on WBS element directly: hours do not show in CJI3. booking is 1ACT
booked on PM order: hours do not show in PM order. Booked is 1 ACT.
The service ordered is different between them. so different vendor, service, material group. but i can not imagine that that's the reason.

    Have a look at TCode IW37N (Order/operation overview) and display the Work and Actual Work fields.
    You can probably use IW37 too..

  • Actual Hours difference between IW38 and IW47

    Hello all.
    I have a unique situation that I am trying to handle. Am trying to see if someone here knows what is happening.
    I have a Work Order. In the "Costs" tab and in the "Quantities" Sub tab
    Planned hours of Word=36 hrs
    Actual Hours=35 hours.
    But when I run IW47 to see all the confirmations to this order, it only shows 3 confirmations totalling 14 Hours.
    While in the order the actual hours is 36. I am not sure what happened to the remaining 21 Hours. Can someone please tell me what else could be going on here.

    I was also facing the same issue for actual work hours difference in iw37 and iw48 .
    But following sap note has solved the problem.

  • PM module- After upgrade ECCC6, Actual hours confirm displaying in PM order

    Hi PM Gurus,
    After Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.
    I have ceated a PM order & done the time confirmation by IW41.
    In Order - Opeartion Tab page , does not show actual hour confirmed for a particular operation.
    But we can see  Actual work hour in other way" Extrasu2014Order Documentsu2014Completion Confirmations"
    Please provide if there is any OSS note is available for this problem or any other solution.

    Hi,
    The intention is that this actual work field is only made available (on operation overview) for historical orders. For normal orders, confirmations are made and these figures are accumulated to give a 'actual work' value. This can be seen on the operation detail screen. It is never possible to enter data directly in this field.
    It is possible this actual work field was visable on some releases at particular patch levels but this was an error. The table control settings allow access to this field but the program logic will always overwrite any user settings with ''invisable' setting for this field.
    A modification would be required to make it visable.

    I am maintaining seperate data entry profile for Time Administrator. When i posted time entry for a subcontractor using the time administrator profile, it throws error message saying "Actual hour exceed Planned hours". I had checked the planned hours in CJ20N for the personnel no. it has surplus hours.
    Then why it showing error message.

    What is CJ20N ?
    We see the message "Actual hour exceed Planned hours" as a warning when the number of hours entered in CAT2 exceeds the Planned Hours in the employee's Daily Work Schedule. 
    Are you getting a "Warning" or an "Error" ?
    Warnings and Errors are part of Time Management configuration.  For example, if you use IT2005 to record Overtime, you can select "NoMessage/Warning/Error" through the Daily Work Schedule (V_T550A).

    I am a technical guy, I dont have functional knowledge and HR functional support is not available at the moment..
    I have requriement to develop a report to caluclate the actual night shift hours worked by the employee...
    I have report : RPTEDT00 where in I have actual hours worked day and night..
    But I am not able to find how do in my custom program from the program reference...So I want to know is there any way where in I see this data in tables or infotypes

    suppose the actual cost in wbs is 6649095
    But under this network & activity level the actual cost is 6461522
    In cji3 report at network activity level the actual cost is 6461522 & the actual cost of wbs is also 6461522
    Plz guide me why cn41 report showing different actual cost at wbs level.

    Dear Sharma,
    1. This is regarding Maintenance order, frist you confirm by clicking on the operations tab-> double clicking on the work center->click on costing tab, check here activity type, activity unit is maintained.
    2. then in in KP26 check the activity price in the current period.if it is zero u will get zero
    3 then in the order click on components, if components are consumed  also check the component price in material master.
    this will resolve your issue

    AFVV holds the total actual work at operation level.

    Thanks Sarthak. Oddly, when I am in my edit profile mode and go to view as "dropdown" (choose everyone, registered members) They all show my real name in the sample and not my screen name which I think should be fixed.

    Here's my problem. Ical was working perfectly fine at first but all of a sudden I logged on one day and the hour was set to Saturday while the time on all my events remains 9:27pm and I can't edit the hour or the minute anymore...becuase the hour shows up like a day and will not allow me to put numbers. I've tried to change it on prefrences but I can't find anything that will change it. What do I do? It's getting real irritation.

    Hi, welcome to Apple Discussions.
    Try closing iCal, going to your preferences folder (your user > Library > Preferences) and deleting the file called com.apple.iCal.plist, then re-opening iCal.
    Post back to say if this worked.

    In my scenario, the order wise confirmation is done (CO15) not the operationwiese.

    Hi,
    In milestone confirmations, planned activities are always posted on the basis of the confirmed quantity. If you have entered activities manually during a milestone operation, planned activities are also confirmed when the preceding operations are automatically confirmed. The exception to this is the setup times, which are always confirmed fully, independently of the entered quantity
    You enter a confirmation of 7 pieces for milestone operation 30, which has a planned yield of 10 pieces. Operation 20 is confirmed automatically. The planned machine time for operation 20 is 40 minutes, therefore a machine time of 28 minutes is confirmed
