ML84 - no scope of list field

Hi Experts,
There is no scope of list field in the ML84. I would like to have this list in ALV format.
How can I do this please?

You must activate it via parameter ID ME_USE_GRID = 'X' in the user master record.

Background job getting cancelled : Choose at least one scope of list

Hello to all,
I am trying to Run on Z report in background which conatins SUBMIT statement to standard progarm for MB5B .This report already programmed to call a report in background.It takes stocks for given period,I am taking the values using "import memory-id" statement.It gives an error log in SM37 as:
Choose at least one scope of list
Message no. M7829
Can we call a submit stmt in a report that is to run in background?? or pls provide any alternative for this problem??

Hi Sonal,
1. This is happening because there are some checkboxes on the selection screen
   which are ticked by default when we run in fore ground
   and are blank when run in background.
Hence the system gives the error meaning to select atleast one of them.
2. We can simulate this error in foreground also.
   There is one button on selection screen in the middle frame.
   "> Category"
   Just push it.
   Some checkboxes will appear now.
   Untick all of them and run the report. You will get the same error

3. So while doing SUBMIT in the z report, you can pass the values of those checkboxes (which ever you require) as 'X'.
eg.
report abc.
submit RM07MLBD
with matnr = '3'
with pa_wdzer = 'X'.
4. The checkboxes field names are:
PARAMETERS : pa_wdzer    LIKE AM07M-MB5B_XONUL
                          modif id liu.
PARAMETERS : pa_wdzew    LIKE AM07M-MB5B_XONUL

ME5A Scope of list

Hi all,
I would like to know if the SAP scope of list u201Cu201DALVu201Du201D could be made available in transaction ME5A.
We are using Release 4.6C
At the moment if we run ME5A the system will list open requisition in a certain format which makes it very difficult to review and to download
Is there any way in the standard ME5A transaction to display the list output in a ALV grid format?

Check the path SPRO-> Materials Management -> Purchasing ->Reporting ->Maintain purchasing list->Scope of list ->Define scope of list.
Select the scope of list and click on the details button. At the bottom, you can see field Use ALV grid control. Check the box and save.

I want to customize 'ME2N' transaction i.e 'RM06EN00'.
I copied into 'ZRM06EN00' , here I want to add a field to the output list. and add an entry for ' Scope of list' in the output screen.

We have taken a Z Copy of ME2N to add a few fields. Now we are not able display the report in ALV . But the ALV view is displayed in standard ME2N transaction. Kindly advise.

At the time of debugging i found gf_factory object is not filled, but im unable to trace that variable

i got the problem
in fm
ME_REP_GET_TABLE_MANAGER --> l_factory(object) -->im_service(variable)
l_active = l_factory->is_active( im_service = l_service im_scope = im_scope ).
im_service variable has programe name, im_scope has "ALV" . then it execution goes in case statement where it checks the im_service with standard prog name.
as in case im_service has zprog, so it doesnt go to any when case and hence the prob.
any sugesstion..?????

It seems to me that there should be an easy answer to the following
problem, so much so that I feel foolish for submitting it. However, since
this is my first posting, it is usually o.k. to be an dimwitted idiot.
Is there any way to have a list field (i.e. scroll list or drop list) that
doesn't display the icon at the right side of the box (the drop arrow or
scroll icon).
We wish to display an item from the list in a read-only fashion, thus is
not any need to display the list, just the corresponding item from the
list. (i.e 'sex' it comes from the database as a 1 (Male) or 2 (Female),
and rather than display the 1 or 2, we would like to display the 'Male' or
'Female'. )
Since we are displaying the records in an array and the array field is
mapped to an object that corresponds to the database table, extra fields
for translation, including virtual attributes, in that object fowl up the
writing to that database table. And, of course, the Drop list adds some
vertical height to the array field, screwing up the esthetic beauty of the
screen.

Try some thing like below,
your data value that needs to be update should be in this format "ID of the lookup";#"Title of the Lookup"
For example,
listItem["Product_x0020_Number"]
= "1;#iPhone";
listItem["Product_x0020_Number"]
= "2;#Mobile";

Read External List Field on Custom ECB action

I tryed to show a Custom ECB action on an External List.
The External List have a Field "LOGICAL_ID" with an IP address, but the GetAttributeFromItemTable works only with Standard List.
How i read the External List Field and open some shell or browser actions with these field?

If you want to disable the Rich Text Field dynamically, you can consider to use JavaScript and JavaScript Client Object Model.
The “disable” attribute seems not work on Rich Text Editor control, so we can set the “display” attribute as “none” to hide the control instead:

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but here it goes...
Create a custom domain with IntegerNullable as the SuperClass
From the properties of the custom domain, select Droplist or scrollistas the formwidget. Click on properties beside the formwidget label
and datafill the matrix. Male 1
Female 2
Your widget will then popup with the choices Male and Female for your
users to chose from. You can also dynamically set the contents of
the list by using SetElementList? method on the droplist or scrollist.
Check out the documentation for more info on manipulating the contents
of the list.
I use Express, so I would set this in the Business Model.
If you use straight Forte, you probably select a DomainWidget from the
Window workshop once you've created the custom domain.

Try to collect again and retransport and replicate.
Check at RSA3 in QA system, now fields are visible or not.

ME57 transaction with ALV scope of list

hi all!
i want to run ME57 transaction with ALV scope of list, but i'm facing a problem because if the list of requirements are bigger than 50 recors, the system says that 'Max. 50 requirements can be processed simultaneously' and I can not assign source of supply to all my list. I guess this will be customizable, because if I run it with A scope of list, there's no limit of processing.
how can I change that value in order to be able to process all the requirements of my list in ALV view?

Hello Fabian ,
This limit is maintained in class CL_REQUISITION_AGGREGATE_MM
attribute N_EDIT_MAXIMUM initial value 50.
If you want , this value can be changed using transaction code SE24. However , please take note that this change is considered a modificationto the SAP standard system and will no longer be supported.

Populating a text field in a form based on selection from a list field?

Hello,
I'm using Acrobat 9 on a mac.
In the list field users choose their hospital name. I then want the address associated with this hospital to populate a text field. Where do I enter the hospital addresses and the "script" (if hospital X then this address)? I've copied this list field and am using it in multiple places on the form by utilizing "global binding" and this is working well.
Also, can the choices in a list field "drop down" or is the only option available a "click through?"

Hi,
Scope of List is defines the type of output which will be displayed. e.g It can be ALV display, it can be hierarchial dispaly.
Each of these dispalys have their own properties and advantages and disadvantages. Hence, SAP has provided various option to the users to choose the kind of dispaly he wants.
I dont think so there is any customisation for maintaining the entries to this scope of list. The values in the drop down are the options provided by SAP.

Error in migrating SharePoint 2010 list fields to Office 365 list [CSOM]

I am trying to migrate a SharePoint 2010 list to Office 365. I created a new ListCreationInfo for a new list in O365. But when i am to trying add fields from SP2010 list, its giving me an error after list.update() -

Data in dropdown list field are empty in PDF form

Hi all.
Viewing a pdf form created with SAP interactive Forms offline method, the data in the dropdown list field are empty.
The data in the dropdown list field are generated by xml file produced by an abap report.
The problem occurs opening the form with Adobe Reader 8.1 or higher. Using Adobe Reader release 7.0.9 everything is ok.
Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Otto,
the only release of Adobe Reader that work is 7.0.9. Release 8.1 and 9 have the same problem where the data in the dropdown list field are empty.
At the end of the trace file in Adobe Reader 9.0.3 I find this error message:
"Invalid version: The current version of the XFA template model exceeds the capability of Acrobat / Adobe Reader 7.0.5."
The form has been created using Adobe Lifecycle Design 7.1.
Any idea?
