The integration aspects of MM-PM are:
1) for non stock materials requirement, purchase requsition can be created from the plant maintenance order. PR is converted to the Purchase order. when ever goods receipt is done , the cost is directly booked to the plant maintenace order.
2) for stock materials requirement,,reservation can be created from the plant maintenance order and the material can be issued to the order against the reservation.
3) Like materials , for services also PRs can be created from the plant maintenace order.
Another integration is BOM - Bill Of Material.
With Equipment BOM, you can create a list of material through which equipment is created or in othre words you can mention the spares that you may require during the maintenance of the equipment.

  • Mac Mini and IMac intergration

    I'm preparing a presentation for my bosses who dislike having to basically halt production on other projects when exporting the print ready files of one in Indesign. (you can't package one file in indesign and work on another)
    A idea i had was to find a way to take a mac mini backup and interface it so i could use my Dell XPS m1210 laptop or 17 In Imac as just the monitor.
    any way i can link another computer with the Mini and just use the monitor?

    But I think I know what you're getting at...I just answered a similar question in another post...If you're just doing this occasionally you could use Apple Remote Desktop (or a free VNC client) to control your mini's "screen". Basically on your mini go to the Sharing control panel and turn on the Apple Remote Desktop service. Then click Access Privileges button and turn on "VNC viewers may control screen with password" and assign a non-trivial password.
    now on your PC or another Mac download a free VNC client. (I use the Apple Remote Desktop app ($500) so am not familiar with free clients but I hear "Chicken Of The VNC" mentioned alot) and use client to connect to mini...
    If it works then you should be able to start up the mini w/out a monitor (headless) and then connect to it using VNC. you may have issues with finding mini, however, if your network/subnet changes. Maybe Bonjour will help?!?

  • GTS and FI intergration

    Hi,
    Currently we are implementing SAP GTS 7.2, we need to do SPL check on payment run.
    When the payment proposal is generated in ECC - get an error as u201CTechnical error when checking in GTSu201D the message class is u201CFIPAY_GTSu201D but in GTS I could not find any technically incomplete document.
    Does someone know why we are getting this error ?

    Can you please help me on the necessary configuration that has to be made to enable the SPL check during the Payment run.
    Also please let me know whether is it possible to have teh SPL check only during the payment and not during the Logistic document process (Like PO, Inbound Deliver, material Doc, SO, O.D or Billing).

  • Reports and Portal intergration

    Hi,
    what is the best practice for moving reports that were registered within
    portal from a development, to a test and then to a production
    environment.
    I don't want do register every single report again through the portal UI
    for each environment.
    I am also aware of the portal command line tools (e.g. ssoexp etc.), but
    they didn't seem to pickup my registered reports.

    Did your SQL Loader run correct ? Is there a loader log in your security directory ? REPUS30.CTL should have been run (it didn't for me).
    If you experience the same, try running "sqlldr userid=portal30/portal30@database control=3.0\repus30.ctl".
    However, the reports/portal security setup is so buggy, I seriously doubt you'll have it working.
    I have managed to make mine work up to granting execute privmliges to toher users than Portal30, so far without luck. And I'm stuck at the moment.
    (I'm running 3.0.8 and Reports 6.0.8.13.1)

    I started to run the Weblogic Server on my machine yesterday and I suddenly got
    this error:
    "License Expired, Please Contact BEA Systems Inc"
    This is the message I got on the Visual Age Console:
    "Invalid BEA WLS Integration Kit License. Please cantact BEA"
    I was able to run Weblogic Server until the past 2 weeks. I tried to re-install
    the whole Visual Age 3.5
    and as well as the Integration Kit I download from the Weblogic website and I
    still get the same
    problem. Can somebody help me with this. I haven't upgraded to 3.5.3 yet.

    The Kit available from the BEA website is an evaluation version. You need to
    contact BEA Sales for a permanent license.

  • Flash and HTML Intergration

    I know this has been asked before but after 2 hours of
    googling I am still confused. Most discussions were too old and not
    relavant anymore. any. here is what I want to do. I have created a
    Flash website.

    The client loves the header and navigation but the bottom of the
    page is very clunky to do in flash. So what I want is the top to be
    Flash with the butterfly animation and the bottom to be straight
    html. The way that it worked in flash is that the butterfly
    animation was smooth because you did not have to refresh pages. Is
    there any way to accomplish this with html and Flash. I have tried
    to use dives but everything involves a screen refresh. I am
    somewhat familiar with Spry. Is that what is called for. Thank

    Hi,
    I'm using Visual Studio 2008, Windows 7 64bit and Flash10c.ocx v10.0.32.18.
    I have a flash (.swf) control that does some client to server file uploading and displays a progress bar. I want the upload to start from the user clicking an asp:Button (so C# calling an actionscript function).
    What's the best/easiest way to accomplish this on an aspx page?

  • Proper ASA-SSM-20 IPS and MARS Intergration

    I?m trying to understand how to best manage my MARS and ASA-SSM-20 IPS implementation. I?ve been running this solution for about 2 months and have been experimenting with how to manage alert s from the blades to MARS.
    The MARS documentation says to configure 2 Event Action Override -Verbose Alerts and Log Pair Packets. However there seems to be a major drawback:
    1. The IPS generates alert for signatures that by default have no alert action configured. At first glance this seems ok, but over time I found that many false positives are generated for signatures that would otherwise remain quite.
    My question is, how should this be managed? I want verbose alerts and logged pair packets for signatures that produce alerts by default, but if I manually configure this, is there a performance consideration?

    products to support things well. First of all check what name you
    should actually use for websphere - I have a feeling that it has some
    bizarre prefix on all of its names. Next make sure you are running
    with WLS 8.1sp4. I don't know what version of WebSphere 6.0 you need -
    I know there were fixes in WAS 5.1.3.

    Yes. It would be possible to write an applescript, and have it run at a set time each day. The script would have to get from mail all the messages in your inbox, extract for example the sender and subject, build it into a neat format, then create a new iCal event and store the list in the Notes field.
    But a few caveats ... this could quickly make iCal's files very large, and I think you would then have performance issues. You don't say whether you envisage storing the mail content in iCal; certainly I would advise against it.
    It might be better to be selective about what mails get logged this way; as you read through them , you could move the ones to be logged to a separate mailbox, and have the script scan that mailbox rather than the inbox.
    But conceptually it would be a fairlysimple task in AS.

  • LMS and ACS intergration

    Currently we have a ACS 4.2 install in our infrastructure.  We are rolling out Ciscoworks 3.1 and are thinking of upgrading to 4.0.
    Is there a set of recommendations for SNMPv3 and AAA?  More specifically, we are considering RBAC controls and wondering about standards for AAA authorization should be used?  Also what standards for the read write views? Finally syslogging commands.  Is logging informational too much or is logging events better.

    If you are considering upgrading to LMS 4.0, then ACS isn't really a consideration.  While LMS 4.0 can use any TACACS+ server for authentication (including ACS), the authorization will be handled internally to LMS.  That is, no ACS integration is required.
    There really isn't any leading practice when it comes to SNMPv3.  It depends on what you want to protect.  If protecting the credentials is sufficient, then you can stick with authNoPriv.  In this case, the SHA-1 hash will offer a bit more security.  If you do want to encrypt the SNMP payload, consider using AES-128 as the privacy algorithm as it is more standard.
    With syslog, it really depends on the messages you need to log as to what logging level you should use.  Are there any informational messages you need to log that are critical to your organization.  If so, then you definitely need to go with logging level 6.  If everything you need is sev 5 and higher, then stick notifications.

  • SmartBand and SmartWatch intergration

    Not really a support question but a suggestion.
    It would be great if Sony can build an app for the SmartWatch which can display information collected from the SmartBand... I mean, both products are made by Sony .... the integration should be quite seamless. 
    This was the watch can act as the "display" for the SmartBand. Food for thought.
