MM Period close in case of short period
Hi ,
We have maintained year dependent fiscal year and maintained periods for 2014 in which period 5 is of 20 days.
Now when we are closing period 5 and opening period 6 which means from 21st period 6 should work, system is not allowing to open period 6 in mmpv.
Where as this is working fine in direct fi postings.
Please let me know, how to handle this issue.

as it is not logical to close a period in the middle of the month from an MM point of view

Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Otherwise, try a restore from an earlier backup in iTunes.

Dreamweaver cs5 problems and adobe support close the case on you
I emailed Adobe support with the message below and they closed the case on me and told me to go over to the developers connection website and open a case there. Well of course there is no where to open a case there, it brings you back to the normal support pages, so I opened a case again!
This is just one of the flaws in Cs5 I've found from intensive useage yesterday.
1. Hangs for nearly 2 minutes if you use an external link to ny file like jquery in the header of the pages - detailed below
2. Sometimes when selecting a related file it says "not on server" and actually tries to open ANOTHER ftp connection listed. It switches connection and then says"not on server" - well of course not....because it just changed to another server! However many time you change it back, it won't have it.
3. The pop up css is a good idea but not well thought out. I have to right click to get inspect but when I roll over the areas it doesn't show the css in the css panel. If I right click and select to show the code, it shows me the css, I then have to click it to select it in the left column. All very long winded... WHY NOT JUST CLICK AN AEA ON THE LIVE VIEW PAGE AND IT SHOWS THE CSS THERE INSTANTLY TO EDIT?!
4. On first open after a quit and relaunch, or restart, switching from normal view to live view hangs Dreamweaver for over a minute before live view is displayed.

Technical support is not a bug reporting center, nor are they developers which is why they probably closed your case. And there really are not any questions in your support request it reads like a bug report and an angry one at that, not even starting out calm, shouting almost immediately.

1. Why are you working with remote website files that are not part of your domain and not in your local site? This is a bad practice to get in the habit of. If their website shuts down, so does the functionality of yours. Many here will argue that point.
- This is a valid point I've come across before and reading up on it I found it was said that the site in question was on cloud servers, mirrored etc. The link I posted was from someone elses post who was having a similar problem. I personally use the flowplay/jquery main link which has ALL the jquery plugins/effects so whatever is used on that page works.

We did this as it seemed that was what everyone was doing, it seems I am wrong and I take on board your comments about downloading the file.
2. "Sometimes". That is the key word in your statement. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. What happens when it says "Sometimes not on server" and what happens in the other times. What's different? It's usually hard to believe it's random luck. But developers in a bug report need to know these things. What's different about the file(s)? Is it with certain file(s), type(s), etc? How would it open another FTP connection, do you have multiple FTP locations defined within one site definition?
I probably used the wrong word in 'sometimes' - A better description would be "some of the related files". When live view is on the right and code on the left, related files across the top. If I hover my mouse over the files, it tells me where they are. This info is incorrect on 'some' of the files, not all of them but about 8 out of 10.
It shows the file as being in the folder of another account in the site defs, but its not in there, it's in the one I'm working on (and which is live in the ftp file window). So if I click on the file to view it, it says its not available, and asks if I want to download it from the server. That doesn't work because it then tries to switch the ftp connection to the other site and download.
I thought it was muddled so I removed all the ftp sites and set up just one, the one I was working on. But that didn't work... it then thinks the related files are in "unnamed site 1" - anywhere but looking in its own folder or on its own ftp server!

- Accepted, you are right, its a bug report, just they directed me to the developer website and I kept ending up here, so began to believe this is where I should be posting.

EIM - In Agent console all buttons are disabled and the agent can answer or close email cases
Today we notice all buttons in the agent console (email section) are disabled so any case can be closed or answered. Any idea about this issue?

I have Safari 8.0.5 and have a mac running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
The issues started when entering a site that required flash. I received a message that I had to upgrade flash and when attempting to upgrade the system crashed. I then tried to uninstall and reinstall and now get the below error, which directs me back to the install site which starts the process all over again and I'm not getting anywhere!!! Ipad won't shutdown when I close case

I just upgraded (downgraded?) to ios 7.0.3 and now when I close my case it does nto shut off. It worked fine before the upgrade. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know a fix?

How do I close the MBP case and NOT put it to sleep?
Is there a way to close the MBP case without it going to sleep? I like to allow items to download, etc while I close the case and leave the desk but it always goes to sleep.
Also, when it does go to sleep do I just push the power button? Sometimes this works, but it seems to respond slow.

Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and enter the following command line at the prompt then press RETURN:
pmset -g | grep hibernatemode
If the reported mode is 3 then your computer is set for "Save Sleep" which takes longer to wake up than standard sleep. If you want quicker wake up from sleep you can change the sleep mode by entering the following command line:
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
This disables Safe Sleep but will also slightly decrease battery life as RAM is left powered on. -

GregGI am not sure about the calculation/reason for those A-ROWS figures but the NL operation executes only once (but accesses inner rowsource 100 times in case one and once in second case) in both cases (which is as expected).

Solaris 10, amd64, JVM crash at short time after startup
Hi All,
I have an application which allocate 10G of memory for his Heap, run on 4 dual core amd64 CPUs, 16G RAM machine and crash in 98% of the cases at short time after startup. This is a customer machine.
I have a similar machine for tests with only 2 dual core amd64 CPU and 12G RAM and I don't experience any crashes running application with similar configuration, similar version of JDK and similar input data.
I have tried with different GC algorithms, but we obtain crashes sonner or later. I rare cases when application manage to start seems that CMS offer the greatest performance.
There is a bug in JVM? Knows anybody an workaround for this?

I created a small test which somehow emulate the real application and I obtain the same results: on test machine run without any issues on live machine it crashes all the time.

My application which allocates 50G of memory for his Heap, runs on 8 quad core amd64 CPUs, 64G RAM machine and crash in 98% of the cases at short time after startup.
If I run my application on a different machine, for example a Sun Fire 280R with 2 CPUs UltraSPARC-III+ 1.2Ghz 8MB, there are no crashes.
I think the problem is related to the AMD 64 bits CPU architecture.
I filed a bug to the Sun Bug DB with ID 1415527, but it hasn't been published yet.
I cannot understand why, since it seems to be a problem common also to other users.

Opened support case, they keep closing, problem not solved and they won't respond
I opened a support case with adobe for thier digital editions program and they would answer once and close the case without seeing if the answer worked. I reopened the case again when the fix didn't work and gave them more info, including text of the error, and asked that they read everything that has been done and reply again. They replied again and only answered part of my problem (how to deauthorize my computer) not how to fix the original problem that is STILL not fixed, and closed the file AGAIN. So I again reopened the case and asked them not to close the case until they see if the solutions they offer work and to look over info and what I have done so far and to please help me fix my problem. Now I don't get any answer since friday. This support is laughable!! I guess we know why the program is free. If given the option I will never BUY anything from adobe.
I have the same problem. I keep my MacBook stationary. I don't really carry it anywhere, and if I do I use a padded case and protect it well.
It's a first gen MacBook. It came with the old case. The old case cracked and stained, and I had it replaced (50 dollars).
Now, it's out of warranty, and when they replaced it, it wasn't the new style case. (fixed weak case tightening issues, cracking, and staining) It was the old style case. Once again it's cracked on the edges, staining badly (I constantly clean it using the recommended instructions from the website. It's white for about a few days...), squeaks, popping up on the edges, and feels really weak.
I don't know how to contact Apple to explain my problem without going to the store (bit of an issue right now). My MacBook has felt weak and fragile from the day I bought it almost 2 years ago compared to others who own one. The case replacement at first appeared to help, but it hasn't changed anything now. I haven't done anything to it. -
Multiple dispute case types for one company code
Hi Experts
I am trying to design a solution for external system interfacing with SAP FSCM. Requirement is to create dispute cases for short pays automatically using program FDM_AUTO_CREATE (which is normal standard SAP process). We are also creating complaints in third party system based out of our data from SAP. When these are getting created in third party, we need to interface back into SAP and create Dispute (against compalint created in third party). I am thinking of using program FDM_AUTO_CREATE to create disputes based on company code/document number/fiscal year/line item etc.
To differentiate between disputes and complaints i am proposing to create new case type (other than dispute case type) and have its own number range assigned to it, so that it can be easily recognised in SAP. But as per standard SAP setting one company code can have only one default case type assigned to it and whenever i create cases using FDM_AUTO_CREATE, system always picks up only one case type.
Is there any standard setting so that system can create complaint cases in SAP with different case type (other than default dispute case type) while using auto create program?

AleemThis is an common question when implementing SAP TCM for trade promotions where claims/ disputes go to CRM for approval.
We have overcome this by leaving the standard dispute case type in the default settings. We then activate a BAdI - FDM_AR_DEF_CASE_TYPE. We create a Z table that we linked to in the BAdI - that had company code and reason code - and put the additional case type in the table linked to a reason code. By adding a reason code (FI-AR) to the specific items, when you create the dispute it will call the BAdI and table and use the extra dispute case type as opposed to the standard one. -
