Single/ Consolidated GR/IR entry for a PO having multiple line items
Hi,
In a PO there are couple of line items for materials of similar type and class. While making the Goods Receipt, the Accounting Document is making two no of line items for GR/IR accounts as credit and two no of inventory accounts as debit. Same is happening to GR/IR account while making Invoice Receipt document also.
Informatively, both the materials above have been assigned to one GR/IR account in the OBYC table.
My question is, is it possible to consolidate the value of both these materials and post one line item for GR/IR account. This is required as in our case in a PO, normally, we do have multiple line items and hence it is resulting multiple no of GR/IR and inventory accounts in a single accounting document. As we are getting details of the line item from PO history, we do not require it in the accounting document.
Requested to kindly help.
Regards
B.MohantyHi
This is not possible (you will compleet los the link between the Invoice and GR)
The reason is that when you receive an invoice that this is based on a G/R line and the way arround when you receive first the invoice(s).
The system need this for the automatecly clearing from the G/R - I/R account, that is based on PO an PO line item number. -

Profit Centre not picking in customer and vendor line items
Hello
When we are posting the entries for customer and vendors and when i want to check the balances of customers & Vendors profit center wise it is not showing any balance but if i will check the same transaction in the P & L A/C it shows me the balance there Profit Center Wise
Can we please tell me where i have to maintain the settings so that i can get the balances of customers and vendors Profit Center Wise
SunilHello,
Unless you are on New GL with document splitting functionality, no items on vendor and customer will be posted with Profit Center.
You run 1KEK periodically to transfer the receivables and payables to PCA.

Hi Gurus,
i am creating ecatt with TCD recording. My requirement is if i record a sales order with one line item can i use the same ecatt for multiple line items.
for example if i create a test script z_va01 in this i record a sales order having one line item. For this i created test data and configaration. Can i use same ecatt to create a sales order having multiple line items.
Thanks in advace
anilHi guys,
I know it has been a long time since this thread was opened, but I'm facing with the same problem.
I created the sales order with SAPGUI REC, and added a loop for line item creation and schedule line creation.
*LINE ITEM NUMBER
DO ( V_LNIT_NO ).
SAPGUI ( VA02_2010_STEP_2 ). --> Adding line item
V_LI_ROW = V_LI_ROW + 1.
ENDDO.
And i amended the line item selection Guielement ID - (Changes are in bold)
'wnd[0]/usr/tabsTAXI_TABSTRIP_OVERVIEW/tabpT\02/ssubSUBSCREEN_BODY:SAPLJ3AD:2930/ssubSUBITEM_L2:SAPMJ3AS:2001/tblSAPMJ3ASTCTRL_LINE_ENTRY/ctxtJ_3ASZDI-MATNR[3,<!V_LI_ROW!>]'
so that the loop will make the line item selection to the next line.
My requirement is to upload the data through a excel file, so I created a test configuration with the relevant variables. But the data from the excel line wont populate the loop data, it only repeats the data from the same line over and over again.
How can I fix this? Please help.
Ps - I have tried to make the the MATNR_D to a table by adding [], --> MATNR_D[] - Table. And it becomes a <INITIAL>, and by clicking on the value column cell, it goes in to parameter I_MATNR (I defined this)
and you can add Parameter 1, 2, 3 etc and within the parameter you can add table-line. I read that this is the solution but, the variable is not recorded on the excel sheet as a column. Please help -
How to use parallelism in RMAN script having multiple lines
Gurus,
Need your advice on using parallelism in 'BACKUP AS COPY DATAFILE' script having multiple lines.
I have a script like below:
CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE DISK PARALLELISM 10;
backup as copy datafile '/data1/oradata/PROD/data01.dbf' format '+DATA';
backup as copy datafile '/data2/oradata/PROD/data02.dbf' format '+DATA';
backup as copy datafile '/data3/oradata/PROD/data03.dbf' format '+DATA';
backup as copy datafile '/data4/oradata/PROD/data04.dbf' format '+DATA'; and so on ......
If I run this script, it runs sequentially. How can I parallely copy the required data files ?
I have to selectively copy few files in ASM.
I want to use a single script.
Please advise.
Best regards,
Santosh

Edited by: 966454 on Oct 18, 2012 11:59 PMUnfortunately, this will not help my case. It may not always be '+DATA'
I want to know if there is any way to parallelise the multiple statements.
Script may have :
CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE DISK PARALLELISM 10;
backup as copy datafile '/data1/oradata/PROD/data01.dbf' format '+DATA1';
backup as copy datafile '/data2/oradata/PROD/data02.dbf' format '+DATA2';
backup as copy datafile '/data3/oradata/PROD/data03.dbf' format '+DATA3';
backup as copy datafile '/data4/oradata/PROD/data04.dbf' format '+DATA4'; ........
or
backup as copy datafile 1 as '/data1/oradata/PROD/data01.dbf' ;
backup as copy datafile 2 as '/data2/oradata/PROD/data02.dbf' ;
backup as copy datafile 3 as '/data3/oradata/PROD/data03.dbf' ; ........

LT12 TO confirmation error for multiple line items
Hi Experts,
We recently upgraded to ECC 6 DIMP EP6. We are not able to confirm TO with multiple line items. It is failing with an error message VL 198 that 0 quantity of material is available. We are able to confirm TO line items one by one. This TO is created for a delivery picking request. We tried with a configuration change for the delivery line item category availability check as Y as mentioned in this note 1653018. But still not working fine. Please let me know any relevant SAP note for this issue.
Thanks
RijilPlease run CO09 and enter material numbers to see the available quantity and see if there is some inconsistency there.
Also check MD04 for those materials to see if there is something wrong there.
If you can you can also post the screens here, if you are not sure about CO09 and MD04 interpretation. -
Mapping of Multiple Line Items
Hello All,
While trying to post a purchase order creation into R/3, there are several line items in the purchase order. Each has different quantity, GL account, cost center and unit price. So how should I map it to the target field.
Occurence of order detail
order detail 0..1
list of item details 1..1
Item detail 1..unbounded
base item detail 1..1
line item number 1..1
buyer line item num 1..1
So occurence of buyer line item number is not unbounded. so how can I duplicate this buyer line item number?
For example, In the XML source message I have 5 line items.....
for line item one, I have quantity A, GL account B, cost center C and unit price D,
for line item two, I have line item X, Quantity Y, GL account Z, Cost center M and unit price N, etc
When I am trying to map I am able to pick only the first line item. Can anyone throw some light on how I should map all the line items data?
If anyone can help me with mapping of this. A bit in detail please
Regards,
Neelima
CSCHi Neelima,
Check out this blog....
/people/claus.wallacher/blog/2006/06/29/message-splitting-using-the-graphical-mapping-tool ( with PO only)
Multiple line items are generated basically using Context.
Hope this will help.
Let me know if you need more details.

URGENT: Delivery with multiple line items for a STO
Hi Gurus,
We ar ecreating deliveries using VL10b for a STO. Teh TSO has 40 - 50 line items. But the delivery is created with one line item only an dit creates a delivery for each line item. How cna we allow the inclusion of multiple line items in delivery?
We are using delivery type NL an ditem categor is NLN.
Geratly appreciate any help in that.
Thanks,
KHANThe problem you face is called 'Delivery split'.
For the STO scenario, one common cause is different delivery dates (in the past) in the STO line items. If so, then you should refer to SAP Note 377501 (from where I quote below):
You can implement the source code specified in the correction instructions in copy routine 301 (or a copy of this routine in the customer namespace). This correction ensures that when you transfer data form the preceding document, backlogged delivery dates or goods issue dates are set to the current date. This prevents the system form performing a delivery split.
Then a rescheduling of the delivery occurs. Since forward scheduling occurs for backlogged delivery items (that is, the picking date or the transportation planning date is set to the current date), the manipulation of the delivery date or goods issue date in the copy routine does not affect the result of the scheduling.
If the dates are not the problem, then this Note refers to other Notes which deal with this problem, and should definitely solve your problem.

BDC for VA01 with multiple line items
Hi,
My client is 4.6c version, I have created a BDC program for transaction VA01 which will have multiple line items. I'm able to enter 12 items in the first instance, then 12 items next time. But I'm not doing any P+..System is automatically taking me to first item after reaching item 12 every time.
But I have a doubt in production system also I will have only 12 items every time to enter..If not my program may not work..
I'm calling BDC using following statment..
CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' USING BDCDATA
MODE 'N'
UPDATE 'S'
MESSAGES INTO lt_message.
Please suggest me the solution.
Regards
Jaker.I had a similar problem with goods movements in a CO11N BDC I wrote. Here's how it was fixed:
DATA: lcl_opt TYPE ctu_params.
lcl_opt-defsize = 'X'.
CALL TRANSACTION 'CO11N' USING i_bdctbl OPTIONS FROM lcl_opt
MESSAGES INTO messco11n.
The option "defsize" makes sure that the screen always contains the same number of lines as it goes through the BDC. That way, you can write in the paging logic without having to worry about the number of lines that appear on a user's screen as it may vary depending on how their screen resolution is set up. -
Setting the value of a single attribute for multiple line items
Hi all,
I am working on a Web Dynpro application, I have created this applicaion for an accounting document so it has header data and multiple line item data. As per the requirement I have to put the following logic:
1. When a user enters a value in the field KBLNR on the line item, all the other fields like cost centerm fund, functional area should populate from a database table based on the value of the KBLNR. to get this I have put the following code:
TYPES: BEGIN OF t_kblp,
fipos TYPE kblp-fipos,
kostl TYPE kostl,
END OF t_kblp.
DATA lv_kblnr TYPE wd_this->element_t_bseg-kblnr.

ENDLOOP.
everything is working fine but now the problem is couple of fields that I have in wa_kblp are with different names in bseg table and hence they are not updating... I tried putting the following logic within the loop :
lo_el_t_bseg->set_attribute(
name = `PROJK`
value = wa_kblp-pspnr ).
but it's only setting the value of the first line item and not working for the multiple line items, can you please tell me how can do this?
Thanks,
Rajat Garg
Edited by: rajatg on Jun 24, 2011 5:09 PMHi Chris,
I tried your code and it worked fine but after I put this code I am getting another issue. within the loop I had a code to make the fields non modifiable on the screen and was working fine but now what's happening is it's making the all the lines uneditable except the one with data on it (which is completely opposite), this is what I have coded:

Production order from sales order with multiple line item(for one material)
Dear Gurus,
I am working in MTO scenarios. If there is several line item in a sales order for one material, multiple production order( same as no. of sales order line item) is getting created against each of the line item.My requirement is,since the material code is same in each line item and sales order is one, one production order should be generated for all line item. please tell me how to do it.
(Here for one material, multiple line item is required for some specific reason)
Regards
Rajib PathakHi,
This is not possible.
In Std SAP will create one production order for one sales order. The stock is also allocated to thet particular sales order only. Because each and every sales order may vary in any one of the parameters. Considering this, SAP has designed like this.
