MM Report on MRP

Hi MM People,
Do you know of a report which can be run to display the reorder point, max stock level or safety stock of inventory goods at plant level? I can get the information from MARC but I was looking for a report that the end users could use?

As you told i did follow accordingly.
When i enter the T.code: ME5A ( i can not find the scope of list ALV but did find the entried as below)
A     3-line + n special
B     2-line + n special
B1     2-line + 2 MRP list
B2     2-line + 2 stock/rq.
B3     2-line + 2 purch.dt.
C     1-line
C1     1-line + stock/rqts.
D
F     Collective release
G     3-line loop
H     2-line loop
I     1-line loop
If i select "C" from the list i'm getting 1 line display but as you told i did press the CTRL+F8 but unable to get the cost) it does not work at all like dat.
I'm using the system version 4.6C. Can you please suggest something on the report.

Report for MRP PO

1. I want a report which diplays POs & PRs created through MRP & created manually. How?
2. Through Document type we can easily distinguish between the Purchase Requisitions that have been generated through MRP and those created manually. How?

YOu can get the report for req created by MRP/Manually or any other criteria by using transaction ME5A
Use ME5A then from dynamic selection (On Maib screen color button) select the creation indicator by double clicking on it and entr the value B for MRP same way for any other REqs
This will give you the exact reports which you are looking for it so you don;t need to create the new document type for this purpose

Additional Material Showing in CN52N report after MRP MD51

Dear All,
     I am attaching a FG material component to the internal activity and exploding bill of material for same. When I am seeing component overview report in CN52N I am getting material list which is attached to activity in Project.
     I am doing MRP run MD51 and generating PR. We donu2019t have PP here so only PRu2019s are generated. I using u201CCreate purchase req. u2013 1 Purchase requisitionsu201D in while running MD51.
     After running MD51 when I checked CN52N again * am getting an additional material attached to project which doesnu2019t exist in Project Structure. These Items will have same Project WBS (for which activity is attached and BOM exploded earlier) but No network and activity reference.
     This case happening inconsistently. Let me know if possible what could be the possible resone for it.

You are getiing all the materials after MRP Run
you just look at the Resevation - your FG having reservation against project/ network/ activity
remaining all materials having dependent requirement reservation no. for FG.

I am looking for a Report that can give me the details of the MRP list(MD05 or MD06).
Basically I need the report to give me the following details.

Opening Date
Rec/Reqd qty
MRP element
If you see all these fields are coming from the MRP list(MD06)
Is there a standard report or table that can give me this information.

Material shortage report after mrp run.

Dear Experts ,
we have a requirement where we need to develop the material shortage alv report, when i searched in SCN i got information like we can achieve this by
using the functional module MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API.
as i am beginner i dont have much knowledge on functional module,so can anybody suggest in detail which all the fields are necessary to get available quantity ,requirement and shortage quantity.

Please test this function module using t.code SE37, enter FM name and execute
Press third Icon from right,
Here in MATNR , enter material number and in WERKS- plant and in BERID-MRP Area.....
and after entering data press execute , you will get the required results as output. hope it will resolve your issue.

Inconsistent records from report RMDMRPEXTRACT02 - MRP Extractor for LTP

Hi,
Report Name: RMDMRPEXTRACT02
Tcode: MSEX
This report resulting differnt number of records in each run. Since this report developed with the aid of parallelization we were not able to debug and identify where it goes wrong. And not able to find any relavant note if applicable.
Have anyone faced this kind of issue before and have a solution?

Thanks for your reply. The problem is not with the MRP run. The problem is report RMDMRPEXTRACT02 is returning different number of records for each run.
say fpr example, if i run this report for 5 specific materials, sometimes i'll get 5 and sometimes 3/4 in the result set.
For performance resons, this report calls some RFC FMs parallely for each material and combines the result. so it is very difficult to trace the issue in debugging mode due to the parellel call.

There is no standard report in MRP other than MD05,MD06.
if you use MDBT, u can see the result in MDBT itself for that run

MRP Reporting

Hi,
we are reporting on MRP data using the function module used in MD04 transaction. (MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API).
To pass this function module we took the list of materials and plant from
MDKP table and passed it to FM and got the MRP data with the belief MDKP has entries with MRP type as MD for the materials and plant for which MRP has run atleast once.
But after NETCH run we notice few material and plant entries are missing in MDKP.
What could be the reason why the entries in MDKP are missing after NETCH Run.

We need receipts data from MRP. Hence we took all entries in MDKP and passed to Function module and got all receipts data.
After NETCH run few entries in MDKP are missing hence we are not able to get receipts for those materials but for those materials we are able to see Receipts data in MD04 .

For MRP Type PD, other important fields for MRP are
MRP1
   - Lotsize
   - MRP Controller (Reporting purpose)
   - MRP Group (Generally not a mandatory field) but certain parameters can be defaulted in configuration for an MRP group.
MRP2
- Procurement type
- Special Procurement type (if special planning process is going to be used)
- Inhouse Prodn / Planned delivery time
- Schedule margin key
- Safety Stock details if safety stock is planned for material
MRP3
- Strategy Group
- Consumption mode and Forward consumption and Backward consumption details if it is a MTS strategy used.
- Availability check (Group)
MRP4
- BOM Selection method
- Individual and Collective indicator

Is there a way to get a list of MRP generated Preqs/PO?

I am trying to get a list of preqs/PO generqted by MRP run.
I am aware of the single preq way to know (contact person/creation ind.) but I want to find out about how many preqs have this MRP indicator.
also, is U considered MRP created?

1) You can Execute MD05 MRP Static list
2) this list will show last MRP Run results. time & date etc.. details
3) u have so many options in this report like MRP Controller etc...
4) Just give req inputs & check result

MRP- Forecast

Hi All Expert,
I am using SAP 2007 B PL04 my question is :
When we are ruunning MRP we are considering following document:
1) Purchase Order
2) Production Order
3) Sales Order
4) Forecast
On the Second Run if we left some Purchase order/ Production Order from the order recommadation report
The MRP wizard will not pick up the data from the order recommadation report. Is there any way to consider Last forecast or the Purchase order/Production Order in the fresh MRP Run.

When we Run MRP thru some forecast we will get result and we save the Order Rec. Report. From the order rec. Report we can generate the purchase order and the production order. But the scenario is suppose if we cannot generate the Purchase order and the production order from the order recom. report. It lies in that report.
Second time when we Run the MRP i want to consider that pending purchase order and the production order which lies in the earlier order recm. report.
Is this possible thru some development or other way. Pls suggest.

I'm looking for a possible explanation for the following replenishment issue:
After Retrieving the ZREQS report, the MRP system sometimes may recommend (multiple) plan orders for the same article, same order date and delivery date.

Reports starting with a Z are not SAP standard, they are created in-house.
If you would use standard transaction such as MD04 to review this kind of situation, then you could get the pegged requirement for each requisition.
Means your PRs are created for different requirements. that you get individual requirements instead of collective is based on settings in material master and customizing .
