Fields or Tables from MM and SRM application to be used for developing the same .Jay

I can't able to see BI content SRM cube and quries in bex anlyzer?

I can't able to see BI content SRM cube and quries in bex anlyzer under search, roles and infoarea?
Details: Today I installed SRM Cube 0SR_FIC01 and all of its queries from BI contents (BI 7.0). I can't able to see the cube and its queries in Bex. But in RSA1 i can see that this cube is active.
How to find all the queries of this cube in bex? the search option was able to find the cube but that is all. my goal is to see all the queries off of this cube.

go to the AWB - open ur cube - menu - edit - where used to - there you shoudl be see all the queries that you have installed. If you dont see any queries out there, the queries were installed properly. Reinstall the queries.
If you see them there, then it shoudl be a authorization issue. Talk to ur security folks

Invoices extractor cube from SRM returning nothing

I am looking at a previously set up BW system. The system has some stuff installed but never used or tested.
DSO "Invoices" 0SRIV_D3 is empty
It uses datasource 0SRM_TD_IV.
Nothing seems to be pulled through from the source system.
Other related extractors seem to be working, confirmation 0SRCF_D2, and purchase order history, 0SR_PO_C1
Any clues as to why that might be? Or where to look?

Think I know now. The client uses a third party scanner/workflow tool. Dunno where the setting has been changed though, as the system still posts invoices in a similar way.

I got an issue in SRM. How to do this?
Spend and savings reports are two of the most common reporting areas within the sourcing organization. In addition to common report characteristics like vendor name, material number, calendar year, etc., a key characteristic for sorting spend and savings data is SCO (supplier subcommodity owner). By including the SCO characteristic within the Spend/Savings cube, end users will be able to rollup spend/savings based on the vendor classification. The SCO code is assigned to a vendor in One-Source. To make this meaningful to users, the description needs to be stored in R/3 and then extracted to BW.

First, let me one thing like "ET_MESSAGES" is not a database table it is an EXPORTING parameter of BADI (BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI).
This exporting parameter is referred to one TABLE TYPE (BBP_TMESSAGES_BADI) and internally it refers to the structure (BBP_SMESSAGES_BADI).
So, what you need to do is just capture all the error messages in to some internal table and loop the internal table and populate "ET_MESSAGES" internal table which is a exporting parameter.

SRM Business Content

Hi All,
I would like to know the infosource of 0SR_C01 procurement overview(aggregated) cube. while on help.sap it shows 0SR_MC01 as a multiprovider for 0SR_C01. But could not find the infosource for the same.
I would also like to know if anyone has the list of content infocubes and their infosources for SRM. Please share it with me.

DataSources
New DataSources have been created for NW 2004s BI Content Add-On 2 and SRM 5.0. These are described here, along with their extraction logic.
The following graphic shows the data flow from the DataSources to the DataStore objects
Structure
Each DataSource has an extraction structure and a data extractor. Generally, this is an RFC-capable function module.
There are two types of extraction: Specific extraction and generic extraction:
Specific extraction is strongly oriented towards the data model of the BI System and the necessary extract structure. It executes DataSource-specific processing steps.
The logic contained within the generic extraction is implemented centrally and can therefore be reused by the specific extraction modules. The generic extraction deals with access to the SRM database and is similar for each DataSource.

Extraction logic in detail
Data extraction involves the following six function modules:
InitLoad
InitLoad is called as soon as an initial upload is started in the BI System. In other words, it is executed when data is loaded into the BI System for the first time. The module can restrict the data extraction according to filter criteria that were defined in BI during extraction (for example, extract the data for a particular timeframe). InitLoad packages the data before it is transferred to the BI System.
DeltaLoad
DeltaLoad is called when a document is modified in the SRM System. The module writes data that has accumulated since the initial loading to a delta queue.
Data Collector
The Collector reads the required data from the database in the source system. For performance reasons, the data is then buffered in system-internal tables. The tables have the same structure as in the database. This saves time and effort, because data conversion is kept to a minimum.
Data Consolidator
The Consolidator groups data that belongs together from a business point of view. The consolidated data is stored in internal tables and is prepared for further processing.
Data Normalizer
The Denormalizer prepares the source data for the BI System. It calculates key figures that are required for the report but are not contained on the database and converts data types in the source system to data types of the BI System. Depending on the BI data model, the system now decides how each row is filled with data.
Data Mapper
During mapping of the data, the system defines which fields of the denormalized data structure are assigned to the fields of the extract structure. In this way, flat and one-dimensional lines are generated from the data.

How to get Transfer rules or Transformations from SRM Datasources to Infoso

We are in SRM 7.0 and BI 7.0. We have all the datasources activates from SRM and replicated in BI side. Now we have all of the content in Dataflow ,, from Datasources to DSOs, Cubes and Multiproviders,,,
Except Transdormations from Datasources 0SRM_TD_CF, 0SRM_TD_IV, 0SRM_TD_PO_ACC, 0SRM_TD_PO in SRM EBP to respective Infosources.
I have activated the datasources and tried both in 3.5 and 7.0. But I couldn't find the business content transfer rules/ Transformations.

Reconcilation of Customer and Vendor from CRM and SRM to 0bpartner in BI

Hi,
I am having customer master data and vendor master data in ECC both represents the same numbers .Ex: 10001 - customer1 and 10001 - vendor1.
I am sending this data from ECC system to CRM and SRM system and again Iam loading this data into 0BPARTNER Infoobject in BW from CRM and SRM systems.
In BW it is messing up, when i do a report on CRM cube it show me the vendor descriptions where i supposed to see customer descriptions .
I can't change the ECC customer and vendor numbers since i need to change all other legacy systems depending on this .
Can any one tell me how to fix this problem and your help is truly appreciated.

SRM Global Spend Analysis Report

Hi Team,
Does anyone have any prior experience creating SRM Global Spend Analysis Report in BI 7.0.
I couldnt find the data source in SRM for Global Spend report, but I have the Infoobjects and cube from BI Content. Can anyone provide a step by step instruction on how to create this report in BI. Do I need to create Custom Datasources?
I am using SRM 5.0 and BI 7.0 with support pack 10.

I don't think you need to create custom datasource, as all the information is available in the system.
I have not tried this ever. Here are few details, which might help.
Global Spend Analysis
Accurate spend information helps you to optimize your supply base and, by indicating potential for demand aggregation across business units, enables you to control your procurement cost and negotiate better contracts with your suppliers. Global Spend Analysis now uses mapping information provided by SAP Content Integrator. The category mapping functions of SAP Content Integrator allow you to map products and categories to a standard category hierarchy (or schema). This could be an internal customer-defined schema or an external one, such as eCl@ss or UN/SPSC. Grouped key mapping for partner data delivers information on identical suppliers, which appear under separate IDs in the procurement systems. Both kinds of key mapping information are made available to SAP BW. The consolidated InfoObject technology in SAP BW then enables unified reporting across diverse master data entities in a heterogeneous system landscape, based on the mapping information delivered by the SAP Content Integrator. For mySAP SRM 3.0, the data extraction tools of MDM, which feed the master data into SAP Content Integrator, only support SAP R/3 systems. Therefore, the global spend scenario in combination with SAP Content Integrator only provides an out-of-the-box solution for mySAP SRMs classic scenario.

We have implemented SRM analytics by installing BI contents (Cube and below flow and BI queries).
Is that the only way to implement analytics ? (especially for SRM/Spend analytics)

For analytical needs of ECC/SRM/eSourcing ere is a complementary analytical application for procurement analysis thats part of the Enterprise Performance Management category. The name of this application is Spend Performance Management. This is based on BW backend with a Adobe Flex frontend

SRM 7.0 Box - BW Reports

Gurus ,
not sure if any one has worked on the SRM 7.0 box.If you go to SPRO -->Supplier Relationship Management->Analytics
they have lots of BW reporting templates available there.
On the help it says that we can configure the BW templates from SRM 7.0 box directly giving logical destination.
My question is if the cubes and reports are in BW ,why has SAP given that option ?does it make sense doing RFC connection for running reports from BW

inorder to get to know the GAPs... first try to install the business content objects and extract the data and also activate the business content reports and present a demo to client...and ask them to test the reports.
Once they test the reports they will come up with the GAPS(missing fields )later you can come up with the plan.
try to get the data base table from which they want to extract the data and from these tables you can find the data sources which exist in Business content.
By giving presentation with the business content you can show to the client till what extent they can rely on the business content.

Add New Keyfigure In Cube

Hi Bw Experts I have simple question, I have a FIAP cube when i go to key figures tab in Infocube I see list of key figures on left and Right, I have a key figure "Number of Invoices" which is not in cube and it does not appear that in ODS which shich spply data to cube and also not there in datasourceOFIAP_C03, Now i see that I went Infoobject screen in RSA1 and found that its a part of SRM APPlication Infoobject catlog and it does not appear in Account payable catlog, I am wondering can I be able to still include the "Number of Invoices" key figure in Account payable CUBE and does it will show me value,"Number of Invoices" key figure is active but our company did not implement the SRM, so will it be of any use to add the "Number of Invoices" key figure in Account payable CUBE AND WILL IT GET THE VALUE

Hi Soniya,
You can surely add any KF to any cube, but you need to see if you will get a value for it as well. Since your cube is supplied with data from an ODS, either you need to add the KF to the ODS and fill it with values from the source of the ODS, or you need to do some calculation in the update rules from the ODS to the cube.

Installing BI Content objects for SRM

Hi Experts,
I am new to this group and i need your help for installing Business Content Objects for SRM based data flow.
We are working for a BW - SRM upgrade project and as per our requirements we need to build 11 - BI standard reports based on Shopping Cart, Shopping Cart Approvar & Central contracts. We have identified the relevant data sources (0BBP_TD_SC_1, 0BBP_TD_SC_APPR_1 , 0BBP_TD_CONTR_2) info providers/ characteristics & keyfigures from help.sap.com respective with query details.
We have checked in BW system and do not found any objects under SRM info area (infoobjects/info providers). As a first step we have activated the above said data sources in SRM system through RSA5 and ensured the data avaialbility through extractor check in RSA3.
We have replicated the Meta data and got the data soruce in inactive version. We are planning to install the business content for info objects, info providers, query elements..
We need your suggestions on how to proceed further and what are the checks need to be done before installing the objects.
Can any one provide an step by step document for installing the business content objects from scratch.

Tty to install objects in below sequence.
1. Application component
2. Info area
3. Catalogs
4. Info objects - Chars and Key figs.
5. DSO/CUBEs
6. Transformations, info pack and DTPs.
7. Bex Reports
While isntalling obejcts from BI content, use grouping option as - only necessary objects , do the simulation and later install in background.
If any obejcts already in active then use Match copy option there itself.
From google you may find them,
Use google search key as "Business Content in SAP BI".

UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION dump with manage cube

hi :
i had already load data to the cube, when use right click to choose mange with the cube, system dump information as follows:

what happend:
    The exception 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere
     along
    the call hierarchy.
    Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'SAPLRRMS' has to be terminated.
can anyone give some avaluable suggestion?

Add comany logo in SRM screen

Hi,
We are on SRM 5.0 , SP06, with ECC5.0 backend.Internal ITS.
I am trying to add the company logo in SRM screen (not login screen).
As per SAP Help. I uploaded the logo to files cube.gif and logo.gif in service BBPGLOBAL in transaction se80.
We have restarted the system. Still the logo doesnt appear on the SRM screens.
Is there anything else which I should do? Any specific cache memory to be cleared apart from restarting the server?

Please go through the few pointers which will definitely help ->
OSS note 861246
1) You can change mime files with transaction SE80 --> internet service --> BBPGLOBAL. Please don't forget to publish your files (local with SRM 5.0 integrated ITS).
2) You need to change the template to do this. Import your Logo as MIME object and replace the present logo with your new logo. Also, You can try to change this text in service BBPGLOBAL under HTML Templates -->LOGIN page. There you have a line "<title>SRM - Enterprise Buyer Welcome!</title>".May be you can change the text form here..I dont have access to system but you can give this a try...
