MM-SUS XI configuration

Hi experts
I am configuring XI MM-SUS and I have a problem, my Idocs goes from R/3 to XI and after tries to go to SRM SUS but some error accur and no log exists, I think the problem is in my Receiver and sender agrements and I don't know what is the receivers and sender agreements I need to create.
Someone could inform what receivers and sender agreements I need to create.
Thanks
Nilson

> my Idocs goes from R/3 to XI
For this you don't require any sender CC & hence no sender agreement.
>and after tries to go to SRM SUS but some error accur and no log exists, I think the problem is in my Receiver and sender agrements and I don't know what is the receivers and sender agreements I need to create.
> Someone could inform what receivers and sender agreements I need to create.
You need to create only one receiver agreement in order to receive the IDOC in SRM.
So all in all what you need is:
One Receiver Determination
One Inteface Determination
One Receiver Agreement
After sending the IDoc from R/3 you can check for logs in SM58, and in XI use tranaction IDX5 and enter the IDoc number.
Let me know if you need more help.

Sarvesh

  • SUS TAX configuration

    Hi Experts,
We are on SRM 7.0 with ECC EHP4, SUS4.0 with SRM on single client.
Has anyone worked on TAX configuration for SUS document in SRM 7.0.
We need to have the TAX amount and other details to appear on the SUS PO and subsequent documents for the suppliers to be aware of the TAX used on the PO.
    Thanks,
    -Devi Swain

The note 1341404 provides the solution for this problem. However this note is applicable ONLY for Indian customers. The note has the complete details.
The solution displays the same Tax and Pricing as displayed in ECC PO on SUS PO.

  • How to set and static ip_address for a Suse Linux box

    Hi.
I've done the following to set an static ip address for my Suse 9 Linux box:
    - Take not of inet address value from ifconfig command. ie: (172.17.2.14)
    - Change this value in /etc/hosts for my linux box.
Since Suse is configure by default to use DHCP for assigning dinamic ip_addresses i'm not sure whether will lastly be set as a static address. I've rebooted my box and it seems to be OK.
    Thanks in advance ...!

/etc/hosts is not configuration file for ethernet interfaces.
Configuration files for ethernet interfaces are stored in /etc/sysconfig/network directory.
For example if you have eth0 device then configuretion for this device is stored in /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0 file.
    Important directives:
    DEVICE - interface (eth0)
IPADDR - IP address of interface
    NETMASK - netmask
BOOTPROTO - "static" for static configuration, dhcp for dynamic configuration via dhcp
ONBOOT - activating interface during boot (yes/no) (yes - of course :-) )
    GATEWAY - default gateway
So for example you want setup static IP (192.168.10.1 / 255.255.225.0) for eth0 interface.
Edit the /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth0 file and your configuration should be:
    DEVICE=eth0
    IPADDR=192.168.10.1
    NETMASK=255.255.255.0
    BOOTPROTO=static
ONBOOT=yesThen you simply restart the nework using:
    /etc/init.d/network restartOR
    /sbin/ifdown eth0
    /sbinf/ifup eth0 OR
    ifconfig eth0 down
    ifconfig eth0 up

The error happens when there are more than 1 IP for the loopback address. In SUSE standard configuration loopback address is 127.0.0.1 (localhost) or 127.0.0.2 (machine name).
    This is fixed for 5.7.2.
A workaround is to Reconfigure /etc/hosts to make all lookback addresses point to 127.0.0.1.
LEt me know if that made it work. and then try to move to 5.7.2 to see if we fixed the issue.

google found some questions, but not fittung answers.
    So far:
    - I checked the folder & users rights.
    - I found some /tmp/ files - yes I "backup" the backuped archivelogs to-delete files in /tmp - I only active archivelogmode so I can onlinebackup
    - I managed to login via rman and execute DELETE OBSOLETE manual - result above.
    - Actual I delete the set one by one to find the problem set. (delete backupset 12345 ) from the list manually.
Some a good idea what went wrong?
additional: Is there a way to let oracle delete the empy archvielog-directories after deleting the logs within?

  • Discoverer Viewer and Scheduled workbooks error

    Hi
    Hope someone can help.
I am scheduling workbooks in Discoverer Plus 10.1.2.48 with the intention of viewing them in viewer.
The report shows itself as running okay in Admin, but when I open the report in Viewer or Plus I get errors including:
ORA-03106 Fatal two task communication error
    or
"unable to generate sql for this scheduled workbook"
I suspect they might be retrieving fairly large result sets (10 K rows +)
Please can anyone offer advice on how to resolve this?
    Many thanks

    Hi Tim
Well just the way the file is put together, like is it using SID= or SERVER=, does it use SERVER=DEDICATED, do you have one ADDRESS= or multiple?
To make sure everything is right, rename both TNSNAMES and SQLNET.ORA files, then suse Net Configuration Assistant to set up a connection. Then compare that with what you have already and make the necessary changes.
I also noticed that Russ has made a posting concerning a similar error. You should take a look. Its either in here on the Discoverer forum.

Anyone an idea what might cause this hangup? Is it because of uncompatible gnu-libs or is it a dbx bug? Thanks!

It's about DWARF generated by g++; sometimes dbx is having problems reading it.
I am assuming that you're using dbx 7.5, which comes with Sun Studio 11 since I was not able to reproduce the same problem with latest dbx (but dbx 7.5 crashes all right). Please try downloading Sun Studio Express (http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/express.jsp). I believe it should be fixed there, but if it's not, Express 3 is on the way and will be available very soon.

  • Can not mount smb share on osx 10.4.6

I have a linux suse 10 machine and I would like to mount files that are on my osx 10.4.6 machine. The KDE gui to do this does not work at all so I went to the command line and it turns out that os x is not asking for the password until after the timeout. From the command line I can still get the job done but why is os x not asking for the password until after the timeout? Below is the relevant command sequence. In this case the password is no the command line, but it still waits for the timeout before connecting.
    linux:/home/dave # smbclient //192.168.0.4/Dave -U Dave%mypassword
    timeout connecting to 192.168.0.4:445
    Domain=[GANDALF] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.10]
You can see the timeout message and then the successful connection. The same thing happens when I try to mount the smb file system.
Any thoughts? I think this is a bug

At home I am running Suse 9.3 and have no trouble connecting to my powerbook (10.4.6). I do use the KDE "explorer" program (Konqueror) and just type in (in the address bar):
    smb://IPADDRESS/SHARENAME
It takes a few seconds but a windows pops up asking for user name and password. A few more seconds and I'm in.
Are both machines on a domain or a workgroup? I just have a 2 computer workgroup called "Home" (creative, I know). In the Yast control center in Suse I configured the Samba client to be blank in the "Membership" box. Maybe try changing that around (make it blank or if it is blank, enter the workgroup name).
If this doesn't help, you may want to try posting this question in a Linux forum, specifically Suse 10.0 if possible. There are definitely a lot of variations b/t distributions, even b/t different versions of the same distro.

  • Watch a windows 95 cd on OSX 10.4.6?

what's the easiest way to watch a windows 95 cd on OSX 10.4.6?  I have an Italian learning CD I'd like to open.  I downloaded WineBottler but it doesn't seem to work.
