Dear all,
I have done transfer postings from plant to plant with M.Type 301 in T.Code MB1B for mat 210 for 25kgs. My PO for mat 210 was for 150 kgs.
In MMBE i have refreshed to chk the data, in Unrestricted use stock iam getting as 125Kgs.But in Stock transfer(Plant) i am getting as 0kgs. Should i chk the qty in any other T.Code for transfer postings from plant-plant/s.loc - s.loc?
Can any one solve this problem?

Hi Vineeth,
301 movement type is for single step stock transfer from one plant to other. You will get 25 Kg Quantity in receiving plant and not in Stock Transfer (Plant). If you use movement type 303, then system will display quantity in Stock transfer (Plant).

This looks like an ABAP runtime error and the program concerned is a standard program. Please check the include and try debugging, suggest a breakpoint in line 76.

Stock Quantity at Mc.9 and MMBe is not Matching

Hello,
The stock Quantity for a prticular material in MMBE is not matching with stock qunatitty in MC.9 and Mc.5
Can you please suggest me how to resolve this.

MMBE is the correct value for the current stock quantity. MC.9 and the other reports use tables S031/S039 or thereabouts, which is updated incrementally each month using the previous month's record and the issues / receipts during the month. Once the file gets corrupted - and it does - in our case about 5% of records are incorrect - that incorrectness is perpetuated in the following months, and the difference remains forever.
You can determine that the S031 record is in error by starting with the current month and looking at the Val stk rec qty and the val stk iss qty movements and the valuated stock, which will allow you to calculate what the stock at the end of the previous period should be. Run MC.9 for the previous period, check the valuated stock corresponds to that calculated, and repeat with the movements. You can do this in yearly periods until you find the error and then go down finer. I find that most of our corruption occurred in the first few months of using SAP.
If anyone knows of a method to regenerate the whole record in the S tables
I would be grateful for the info.
Conclsion:MMBE reads the current stock, while MC.9 or MC.5 are transactions that are feeded from infomation structures (which are updated with lower priority than stock tables). If an update of a infostructure fails, then there is no harm to the stock table update, but your statistics are just out of sync then.
So in short, you can trust MMBE, but no the statistic transactions

MMBE stock overview - S Loc Level stock not getting displayed - ECC 6 0

Hello,
In ECC 6,0 Version, in the MMBE (stock overview) stock is getting displayed only at the Plant level. It is not showing at levels below for eg. S Loc level/Valuation type level. Is there any setting to be activated for this?
Can any one throw some light?

Getting Values of MMBE transaction

Hello all,
I need to get the Values of the MMBE transaction and use those values in my report for calculation. Can anybody suggest a way to execute the MMBE tranasaction from my report and get the values in a table.

Submit MMBE program in your zprogram by passing the values to the MMBE selection screen for ex
SUBMIT MMBE Program WITH p_werks = p_werks
EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
and then use
LIST_FROM_MEMORY
LIST_TO_ASCI
LIST_FREE_MEMORY
Or copy MMBE program as zmmbe and then use EXPORT IMPORT concept to get the final internal table values into your zprogram.

Stock is available in MMBE but delivery isnt created

Dear friends,
Stock for a material is available under unrestricted stock in a plant, as can be seen in MMBE. But at the time of creating a delivery, system throws up an error saying " Required quantity exceeds available stock"
I feel that some stock might be blocked against some open sale orders. Could this be the reason?
I also deleted one open sale order, still delivery couldnt be created.

Please check in VL21 whether any delivery is created without doing PGI for the same material. In this case also, you wont be able to post the goods issue for another delivery.
Also go to VA02, input the sale order and ensure that the quantity what you are to do delivery is flowing in confirmed quantity. If not, do availabillity check and then retry.

Want field and table name for RESERVED coloum in MMBE

Hi ,
        There is a RESERVED coloum in MMBE and     I want this   * RESERVED* coloum in MB52   .
       I got to know that Field related to this RESERVED coloum is BDMNG coming from table RESB .
       To confirm the field and table I checked the value in BDMNG by putting join on MARA and RESB where MATNR = BAUGR.
        But I got value in BDMNG is 50 and in MMBE it is .228 for that material.
           Please tell me field and table name for RESERVED coloum. and hoe to join MARA and RESB to get exact result.

Mara-matnr is not equal to Resb-matnr and it shows no record if i do like this.
But Mara-matnr is equal to Resb-baugr, and it gives me 1 record .But porblem is that i dint get BDMNG field matching with mmbe RESEVERD coloum.

Variance in MB5B and MMBE / LS26

Hi There ,
The stock on Posting date ( T Code - MB5B ) shows zero till today, where as the Stock overview MMBE / LS26 shows the correct figure as required .
Could anybody throw some light regarding what exactly is the logic behind the MB5B report . To my understanding MMBE / LS26 should sink with each other .

As per the request from Anand ..The MB5B shows stock received as well as stock isssued till 12-12-2006 is same , so the stock available is zero . but on the same date 12-12-2006 System allowed to do Transfer Orders with a quantity ...my presumption is that if the stock in MB5B on 12-12-2006 is zero then how System allowed to do a posting of TO with a quantity ..
MB5B I believe includes the unrestricted stock ..

Stock Overview (MMBE) Report in BW

Dear All,
We got a scenario where :
> The Key figure values like " Unrestricted Qty"," Quality Inspection ","Blocked Stock" shows different values in R3 when compared with BW.
------> When we boiled down,came to know that the extractor (2lis_03_bf) is not picking all Batches ,as compared with R3.Hence the Keyfigure values are less and different from R3.
It would be helpful if someone could take time to help us out on how this issue can be solved.Have checked the stock against MB5B and other reports aswell and the stock qt's are fine.but just that it shows different against MMBE in R3.

Hi Arun,
Weather u are drilling the report to the storage location wise.
if yes the data will never match as in Inventory side for some movment type accounting documents will not generate.
For Inventory level reporting i suggest u check the UPdate rule as per ur Indusry as they only are responsible for Data in BI.

MIssing Variants in transaction MMBE after the Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6.0

The variants which are defined in 4.7 system are missing completely in ECC6.0 after the upgrade.
These variants are maintained for the transaction MMBE.
Also one observation in the program change for this transaction in both the system:
ECC 6.0 Program : RMMMBESTN and ERP 4.7 Program : RMMMBEST

Thanks , but the issue was different.
We found that since the programs are changed in both the versions for the transaction MMBE , the variants couldnot be copied.
Hence suitable FM was ran to copy the variants and can be seen in ECC6.0 screen now.

What is the BAPI or FM that returns figures as seen on Txn MMBE ?

I have to create a custom report that shows some of the figures as seen on Txn MMBE. So may I know which BAPI or Function Module to use for getting figures like MMBE ?

PS: I searched this forum, but the earlier response of "BAPI_WHSE_STOCK_GET_LIST", or "BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST", or "BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY" are all not for MMBE report.

Looks like the different stock types/categories/special stocks are gathered individually. Try function modules in Function group MBBS.

Mat.is in unrestrictd status in MMBE but its not showin in vl10i unrestrctd

we are facing a very strange issue.
we have material in an unrestricted status in MMBE - but it is not showing in unrestricted in VL10I .
This was not picked and shipped due to this issue.
Suppose i am making Sales order for make to order scenario for eg. SO# 201,
i have SO# 201 specific stock as 1000FT showing in MMBE in Unrestricted stock.
For SO# 201 , i have already done ATP check and schedule lines are also confirmed.
after this i run transaction VL10I, where i can see all confirmed schedule line due for shipping.
pls refer below data from VL10I , this shows all confirmed schedule lines due for delivery.

this is Normal process that should happen in system. & is already working fine in system.

In VL10I, we are getting Unrestricted qty as 0 , even though it is showing in MMBE unrestricted stock.& all conditions are fullfilled
like confirmed schedule lines, stock availability.
we tried replicating same in development , Quality and sanbox systems which are having similar environment like production
systems,but we didn't faced same problem yet.
Kindly revert on this if you had faced similar issue in past or you have any suggestions or solutions on this.

when we run VL10I , we get list of all POs and SOs whose schedule lines are confirmed with all details like

here one of our user gets the issue like Unrestricted qty is 0. even though it can be seen available in MMBE for sales order specific stock. or in any other transaction it can be seen avaiable.

Which table to find reserved stock (mmbe)?

In the transaction mmbe I can see reserved stock is stored in
RMMMBESTN_DATEN
BDMNG
but thats only a structure, where to find the real data?
that I can say
select bdmeng from xy where matnr = xy.

You probably mean RKPF - that is the reservation header data and RESB where the lines\ items are.
A select with matnr will be from RESB.

Serial number and MMBE report inconsistent

Hi friends,
I have a situation wherein in IQ02, for a material and serial no. the entry is there .i.e. say a material M" has a Serial no.say S1 present in plant BOM, storage location1000.This is seen as I go to the S.No. history it shows the last transaction as :- a document no. with Mov type as 101 for the above mentioned storage location and plant on a particular date.
But if I go to MMBE, the same material is not found in the above mentioned plant and S.No.
Can you explain what could be the reason. How does the S.No. and material disappear form MMBE while the S.No. history of that particular material with M.Type 101 is available.

Hi
Even through you don't need a equipment and do not opted for "always create with equipment", you have to maintain number range for equipment.
Because, whether equipment is created or not, the EQUI table updation will takes place during creation of serial number.
Per each serial number, one equiment number is consumed, though it is not created.
Hence maintain number range for your euqipment in PM, your problem will be solved.

Hi,
MBBS will give the STOCK OVERVIEW for specific sales order and specific Project
MMBE will give the stock at PLANT, STORAGE LOCATION, & At Special stock indicator level.
The sales order stocks will be same at both, You have to count the stock of sales order at all the Plants and Storage location level inorder to get the same stock of MBBS at the sales order level
