MMS Creation - How to make audio span multiple sli...

When I am creating a MMS slideshow message and want to add an audio track using Nokia Suite, the only option it gives me for attaching any audio to the slideshow is to apply it to each individual slide rather than to the entire message.  The only option it offers me is to crop the audio file to the duration of the individual slide and apply another copy of the audio (or a different audio file) to each individual slide in the message.
What I am wanting is for the audio to continue playing as the slides change throughout the duration of the entire message.  I know this can be done as I have received these types of messages in the past, yet I cannot figure out how to build one of these messages in Nokia Suite.
Is this possible or just a limitation of the Nokia software?

Hi, Mister Beefy.
All you have to do is go to the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced tab > General sub-tab and change the location of your iTunes Music folder.
New files added to your Library will go to the new location, old files will remain in the old location.

Macbook pro to HDTV, video is working but audio is not working, how to make audio work as well

If you use an HDMI cable, the audiostream will be integrated, so there will be sound when using an HDMI cable!
Not necessarily.  That only works as stated if you have one of the most recent MBP's that has a built-in HDMI port.
If the MBP only has a Thunderbolt or miniDisplayPort, you need an appropriate adapter cable and even if you use an HDMI adapter or cable to connect to your HDTV there is no guarantee it will carry audio.  You have to determine if your specific MBP model supports audio out through its miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output, and whether the adapter does likewise.

  • How to make "check for multiple logons" mandatory in webdynpro application.

    Hi SDN members,
Im having a problem with an application developed in webdynpro abap.
We require that  end-user only have a session per computer (ip address),
I already tried to achieve this by configuring the webdynpro application throguh SICF and going to Error Pages -> Logon Errors --> System Logon and mark the checkbox Check for multiple logons.
This configurations give only a warning when the user logs multiple times, and show a checkbox letting the user decide to end or not the previous sessions.
How to make end previuos sessions mandatory ??
    Regards,
    Franklin Cedillo

You would have to enforce this at the application level. You can get the IP address of the current client from the framework - IF_WD_APPLICATION method GET_REMOTE_ADDRESS.
You could write an entry with the IP address into a temporary table during WDDOINIT.  You could clear the entry in the WDDOEXIT.  Also during the WDDOINIT, check to see if there is already an entry for this IP address.  If so, then fire an exit nagivation plug to a static MIME object or BSP page that explains why the user can only be logged in once.

  • How to make audio cd images in leopard?

I'm not trying to duplicate music. much of my music doesnt have album art and track info. its stored as mp3 in itunes. itunes refuses to pull up track info as they were not imported by it. so what i am trying to do is make audio cd copies of it and then reimport it to itunes. now, i have like 2000 songs. burning an actual disk would be a pain. in windows i would normally use nero to make an audio cd 'image' which can be mounted into a virtual drive.
using disk utility i figured out how disk images of cd and dvd sizes can be made but the burn disk option (in itunes) only shows the super drive burner to burn an audio cd image to. any help?

This hardly clears my doubt, however, my point stands, if the info is NOT in an MP3, burning it to a disc OR creating a CD image is NOT going to help you (or iTunes) find the unique CD ID and get the missing info. NO, NO, NO
There's no "unique CD ID". All iTunes does is look at the number and the length of each track on the CD, and measure that against what's in the online database. The closest match is offered up. If there's nothing close, then nothing is offered up.
I took a vinyl record and imported the whole thing as an AIFF file. I chopped up the tracks into little bits, and then used Toast to burn the results to a CD. iTunes recognized it as a commercial CD release of the same album, and downloaded the correct artwork and all the track names. I was blown away the first time it happened, and it has happened again several more times with various old vinyl albums.
It hasn't worked every time, but it has worked enough times for me to believe that the OP will have luck with his .mp3 files if he can burn them into a playlist that closely resembles the original commercial CD.

  • How to Make Audio Video Broadcasting Programe using JMF

hi i m newto java programing i wan to know can any one help me out how to transimit audio and video over netwrok from one pc to other computer voer the network . i m using my webcam to transmit video can any one of u email me the code if any one has made such application like this .. my email is [email protected]

Well you've found the root of your problem. It's not necessary the JMF. It's when you make a jar file, you need to include the dependencies. I don't think it' legal to include the JMF in a program you sell or distribute, so be careful there.
However, to include dependencies in jar files is not a hard task. The simplest method is to unjar the dependency and place it at the top or your classpath; then make a jar that includes both your program, and the dependency.
A more long term solution is to use a build system such as ant or maven to create the package using available scripts or plugins. The "Uberjar" plugin for maven comes to mind.

  • How to Make Audio Books

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this topic but I have a 80 GB Black Classic and was wondering how to make a audio book to add to my iPod.
I have several audio books on CD that have numerous chapters in them. Is there some type of conversion program to convert these to files that can be loaded onto the iPod or are they just mp3 files when added? If they are just mp3 files, will they load onto the music playlist or how due you make them show up in the Audio books menu?
Adding files from a CD does not seem to be a problem as far as converting or ripping them to iTunes to be then synced to the iPod, but I do not know if a different type of file is needed other than mp3 to be able to play them as a audio book.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance
    Mr. Hoz

If you had a Mac, you could take it a step further and add chapter like Audible does. I came across a a AppleScript called Join Together which uses a tool from Apple called ChapterTool. Basically, you select the files to join and run Launch Join Together from the iTunes script menu. A dialog box pops up allowing to set the Artist, track info, release year, Album, etc. It also lets you set the output bit rate, frequency, and stereo/mono. It will either output a .m4a file (music) or a .m4b file (audiobook). If you have Apple's ChapterTool install, it will have an option to add chapter names based ont he song titles.
Example: I have a dramatized version of the NIV Bible which wad a separate mp3 file for each chapter. So, it was broken into 1189 files:
    Song : Album
    Genesis 01 : 01 Genesis
    Genesis 02 : 01 Genesis
    Genesis 03 : 01 Genesis
    Exodus 01 : 02 Exodus
    Exodus 02 : 02 Exodus
    Exodus 03 : 02 Exodus
    Revelation 20 : 66 Revelation
    Revelation 21 : 66 Revelation
    Revelation 22 : 66 Revelation
After using Join Together, I now have only 68 .m4b files, one for every book except Psalms which I split into three parts (001-050, 051-100, 101-150). Now when I select oneof the books on the iPod, a list of chapters are shown except for r the 5 books that only have one chapter (Test: name the 5 books without looking them up. .
I in the proces of doing this for more books which I kept the individual chapter files like _Teach Yourself Norwegian_ (2 CDs) and two _Birding By Ear_ books (3 CDs each).
For some reason the Join Together script errors out about 10% of the time and I have to re run it. I haven't tried to troubleshoot the issue, yet. Also at the beginning when it starts to join the tracks, the script plays all of the files being joined all at the same time for about 10 to 30 seconds. What a noise that is!
    Enjoy life,
    Steven

  • How to make audio file to use as ringtone on iPhone 5

Does anyone know how to make a file and then make it a ringtone?

Make sure iTunes prefs > Import settings is set to AAC.
In iTunes, find the song you want and note the start/stop time you want the ring tone.
Right click - get info, click the Options tab and set the start/stop times as above. (Note a 30 second max for ringtones)
Right click - Create AAC version. This creates a new file.
Drag this new file from the iTunes window to the desktop.
Delete the new file from iTunes and also select Delete from hard drive.
On the desktop, rename the file to what_ever_you_want.m4r (first part you can change to whatever you want & change the extension to .m4r).
Drag the file back to the iTunes library at top left.
Make sure iTunes prefs > General has Tones ticked.

  • How to make audio of many clips the same level?

I have a sequence containing many interview clips which all seem to be at different sound levels. Is there any easy way to make all of these the same level? The only way I know how to adjust the level is using the volume level control under audio effects for a particular clip.
Also i'm wondering whether there is a way to filter out background noise?
    Many Thanks

If the mic was a different distance etc then you'll never be able to make them all sound exactly the same tone.  But For the background noise I'd really recommend the effects inside premiere I've already mentioned I have found that 90 percent of the time I don't ever need to use audition for interview type edits. I'm able to get by using a denioser and highpass to remove "most background" noises. However I don't film outside very often most of my background noise problems are usaully from too much gain or AC noise. So your scenario might be different than mine for this reason.
The benifit of the compressor is that it can make your audio stay exactly within whatever range you want without having to keyframe stuff. With the clips you have desribed you'll want to use a different dynamics filter for each group. So put each group on it's own audio track. So group one that you have desribed would go on track 1 since all those clips have similar range etc. Basically with group 1 I wouldn't compress it at all. I'd leave it alone except for lowering it's audio by -2 on the audio track 1. That way all the clips in the first group will be lowered by 2db if you put them all on track 1. You won't have to worry about it's slightly too high peaks as long as you set a dynamics effect with nothing enabled on it besides the limiter on the master track and have the limiter set to -6 since you said that's what you need your max peak to be. If you do this then everything in group one will be handled as far as levels go. (as far as db goes anyways) However if you want to have other things in the project to be higher than -6 then just simply put the -6 limiter turned on track 1 then instead of the master track.
Then for the second group I wouldn't touch them at all I'd put them on track 2 and just let the limter on the master track keep it's peaks from going to high since it's basically already where you want it. Then if the clips have a hissing noise or something you can add a denoiser and set the reduction to -10 and adjust from there.
Then for your final set you are desribing -22 to -12 for these I'd put them on track 3 and use a dynamics filter and keep everything disabled except for the compressor itself. For this I'd start with my ratio at 2 and put my threshold at -20 and set my makeup gain at 9 or so. Then from there if it looks like it's way to loud then try lowering the gain and if it looks like its lows are too quite then add the gain back but if it appears to be to loud then simply raise your ratio or lower the threeshold a bit. But I think the settings I have listed will get your to your desired range.
For the clips that are hitting -0 a lot if they are distorting then you really can't fix distortion but if they are hitting 0 and aren't distorting then you can just simply lower the volume for these you don't need to add any gain since they are already too loud anyways so if you just lower them by like -6 it should get them right within the range you mentioned.
As far as background noise such as hissing you'll really want to just use Premiere's denoiser effect. Start off by setting the reduction to like -10 and adjust from there. Then for cars passing etc try out a highpass filter and set it to 120 to start and move up there if needed. It will take the bass out of the peoples voices but it won't sound bad unless you start going over 160-170 range it also depends on if the person has a deep voice to begin with or not too though.

  • How to make audio (within a video) background music?

Hi: I have Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0. I have video of a guy singing that is three minutes long that I would like to use as the background music for a video montage. The video montage itself is about 3 minutes as well. I would like to start the video montage with the guy singing, then make the rest of the montage have just the background music of the guy singing (without the video of him). How can I do this? Thanks.

That's how I'd do it, too.
Another option might be to just plop the montage on Track 2 at the appropriate starting point and not do anything with Track 1 (the guy singing). The video from Track 2 would be used instead of the Track 1.
Not sure what would happen with the sound though - don't remember if Track 2 audio overlays Track 1 or if they get mixed
Also not sure what the OP wants... is the guy singing supposed to be "background" as in you can still hear the montage audio with the singing as light background, or whether the guy singing is the *only* audio.

  • Multi cam sequence - how to take audio from multiple tracks?

I have a multi cam sequence with multiple audio sources (cameras plus separate audio tracks).
According to this page, in order to have multiple audio sources, I need to mix them into a track in the source sequence:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/PremierePro/4.0/WSADF1BC06-B8FB-4f23-8446-8D8F8539D7BD.html
So I mixed several tracks into submix 1. But when I use the multi cam monitor, submix 1 is not available as an audio source.
Is it perhaps possible to mix audio into a non submix track? If so, how?
    premiere cs4

Multicam can only use audio 1, or audio follows video (you hear whichever track you see).  There's no way to hear more than one track at a time.

  • How to make audio track respond to timeline

I'm starting a project and need the ability to control the speed of an audio file playback using the timeline.
There are specific events that happen at certain times in the song, and i need the ability to scrub forward and backward on the timeline, including the audio. is this possible?
I have a mechanism to scrub through the timeline of a symbol, but i can't get it to recognize the audio track.
I use this code on the stage in a "composition ready"
var symDur = sym.getSymbol("timelinePlay").getDuration(); // Get the timeline length of timelinePlay. We'll reference this later in the code. var mySymbol = sym.getSymbol("timelinePlay"); // Get the symbol timelinePlay. and have an group called 'scrubber' that contains a div called 'dot' and a box called 'mobileHit.' There's a horizontal bar that's not included in the 'scrubber' div (representation of a timeline) called 'bar' on top of which the 'scrubber' sits.
the whole contraption controls a symbol called "timelinePlay"
If there's any way to get the audio included in the timeline and give me the ability to scrub through the timeline /and/ audio, (imagine manually fast forwarding and rewinding a VHS tape) that would be wonderful!!!

  • How to make chart from multiple loops without local variables

    Hi,
It is my first experience in LabView.
I did a program that communicate with Power Supply Device via RS232, sets an output voltage and read Voltage and Current in some sort of a program: Voltage goes up, staying in some value and then goes down. So there are many FOR LOOPS that sequensed one after another.
I need to make a 2 live Charts (one for current and second for voltage), and the only one solution that i could obtain is using local variables. BUT also I need to export my data to the file after the end of the program (with real elapsed time for collecting data points) and with the use of local variables I cannot do so. Maybe the Shift Register will work, but I could not make it work.
    Thank you for help.

You have multiple, deeply stacked, sequential loops. Way too complicated.
All you need is a simple state machine architecture using a single loop and a single instance of your charts. No local variables needed. Simplify!!! You could even graph both values on a single chart.
Look at your code. It is basically repeating the same thing with slighly different inputs. You only need to change the inputs based on state, and re-use the same IO function instances. Only one instance each needed.
(you also have some misguided autoindexing near the middle of your code. Bad!)
