Mms messaging not working for iPhone4 after iOS6 update

I updated my AT&T iphone4 a couple days ago and now I can't send picture messages.
Anyone knows how to fix this. I have tried resetting my network setting.

Settings-------> General--------> Cellular---------> Cellular Datta Network
This gets you to the apn page. i entered everything but the MMSC
(Mine is http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com//mms/wapenc).
I left the MMS Max Message size area empty
The MMS UA Prof URL on my phone reads: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

"Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard" key not working for Acrobat after re-install

Hi,
I reinstalled the OS on my mac. After that I reinstalled my "Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard" from the discs. Illustrator etc. working fine, but when I try to enter the serial number when starting Acrobat it says: "This serial number is not valid for this product".
Please help, because I really need Acrobat

Ibooks not working on iphone4 after ios5 upgrade

Hi folks,
the ibook application is not working anymore after upgrading to ios5.
It all appears to be ok but no book can be open. The books appears correctly, others may be downloaded but still none of them can be open.
It looks like lacking a kind of authentication.
I removed it , restarted the phone, installed it again and it still does not work.
Am I alone with this problem or someone else also got it?

Hi.. I have problem wth hotspot too. But i still use it via wifi. I cant use cable as medium anymore. My experience, hotspot connection vis wifi sometime need to resert the connection several time before stable. Just try this: unplug the phone from usb connection. let your wifi turn off. Then set the personel hotspot on via usb only. After that back to the wifi setting. Turn it on. Again back to the personel hotspot setting. Turn it off, on it back (wifi connection automaticly selected when usb cable unplug). Now you can search your phone from ur wifi service on pc. Hope it works..

Lock button not working for iPhone4

My lock button not working from last 2months, I am using assistive touch for time being.
I bought my mobile in UK 1year back, currently i am staying in India.
My real problem is, recently i visited apple store. The guys in the store are saying, it is against to their law to serve or repair mobiles which were bought in other country..
I think this is rediculous.. Just i need some information how to fix it or how to contact the correct person regarding this POOR service.

No. The warranty is only valid in the country of purchase. All service for iPhones in UAE is provided by the supported carriers. You can find a list here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937
If you did not purchase it from one of the carriers listed, then you probably purchased an illegally imported gray market phone.
Check Settings>General>About. What does it say for Model #?

when i try to send a mms message a clock looking think shows up what does it mean ...i was able to send mms messages perfectly fine before and now it is showing up how do i fix this ? also i tried taking out the battery n when i put it bak in it then shows a red X what do i do?

Wifi not working on 4s since iOS6 update

I have tried everyone's suggestions; airplane mode off/on; wifi off/on; rebooted several times; reset network settings several times; proxy on auto; ip address is there. I'm not sure why it works for some & not others; thinking of backing of the update and just waiting for some news of resolution.

I reset the router & now all is working!

Videos Do Not Play on PC After iOS6 Update

I am having a very big problem. I have an iPhone 4S that is less than one year old. Prior to updating my iOS firmware, I was able to record and transfer video to my PC and view it with a variety of programs without any modifications. Since updating the firmware, all videos that have been taken are not viewable on my PC. I can hear the audio associated with the video, but the video is blank. I can transfer the file off my phone using the Windows transfer tool. Then sync the video back to my phone and it play just fine on my phone. I tried emailing the video to myself to see if its losing something in the transfer, that did not work. I rebooted my computer just to say I did it, no luck. I reinstalled QuickTime to make sure I had the most recent version, still isn't working. I can still watch the videos that were made with iOS 5.1.1 and they play just fine, but nothing made with iOS 6 is viewable.
I have been successful with the following procedure: Once the video is transfered from the phone to my PC, I change the extension from .MOV to .MPG and this makes the video viewable with Windows Media Player; however, if the video is shot in a portrait orientation, it displays sideways in WMP as a landscape orientation and the audio track is no longer there. I have been able to then run the video through Microsoft's MovieMaker program to right the video 90 degrees but the image comes out a little squatty like it's out of scale. In either case, it serves the purpose and I can export it to another .MPG format that I can then run through Sony Vegas and edit as I see fit. While it works, this is a huge hassle and I shouldn't have to do it.
Does anyone know of anything that is working? Are there new codecs somewhere that windows users need to get a hold of? Is this an Apple bug? Anyone else have any other solutions? Ideas? Similar experiences?

DustinMedlam, I have the same exact problem. I started using my Iphone 4S for shooting video about 2 months ago and tranferred them to my Windows machine with Windows 7. I use the clips in Sony Vegas pro 11 and make short movies. I upgraded to ios 6 last week and every video that I shoot with my iphone 4S now is not usable in Quictime or Sony Vegas???? My old videos from before ios 6 play just fine and I can use them in Sony Vegas with no problems. The only way to play the files is with Windows media player. this does me no good as I just began making short films and now I can not use any of the video I have shot since ios 6. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I shoot video with it and use the clips in Sony Vegas with no issues!?? I can not believe this is not BLOWING up on the internet like the WIFI issue is..... What do we do? All my video gear is for my Iphone not my galaxy S2. This is very annoying. I also notice that no one from Apple response to these support forums. So why are they available?? What a JOKE!

FCPX 10.1.3 limiter not working for me after choosing a mono channel

When I try to add a limiter with a -4.5db limit to a mono channel in FCPX 10.1.3 it never works as it should -- usually seems to limit the sound to -12db!
Any tips for how I can the Limiter this working as it should?
Under Audio my Channel Configuration shows as stereo for a particular clip.
Under Channel Configuration, I choose Dual Mono, untick one of the mono channels
Then I add the Limiter to that clip, set to -4.5db using the Larry Jordan settings from this article http://www.larryjordan.biz/technique-using-the-soundtrack-pro-limiter-filter/

yes, separate archives. For clearness, here again what I did, step by step:
1. Inserted the SD-card in my Mac. Opened the import-window. The Camera is listed twice. See the screenshot:
If I click on the first one (looking like a DSLR), I see the iFrame clip in the browser. If I click the second one (looking like a camcorder), I can see all the AVCHD clips in the browser. Importing clips into an event works fine for both "Cameras".
2. Clicked on the first one again, then created an camera archive. A white circle behind the camera name shows the process.
3. Same for the second one. White circle during import, too.
In both cases, FCPX informed me in the window for the archive's destination, that the archive will be about 18 GB.
4. waited for a loooooooong time, until the white circles disappeared and the background activity window does show no action any longer.
5. After that, tried to open the archives in FCPX (this time with favorite-Tab...). In both archives, I can only see the iFrame-Media. Not one of the about 150 AVCHD clips ...
6. Switched to Finder and examined both archives (opened with "show package content") Same size (approx. 18.1 GB) and same content. See below:
7 When I open the AVCHD-subsection of the archive (via show package content), I can see, that in both archives ALL files for the AVCHD content is contained completely in the correct structure (too big for a screenshot...)
In the root of the package, there are, as you can see, two XML (.plist) files. The smaller one indexes the iFrame-media, the bigger one the AVCHD-media.
So, the archives seem to be complete. Just, that FCPX does not recognize the AVCHD content...

Right off I suspected the upgrade to MSS 60.1.22 (the newest version of the old Business Package) so I installed the older versions of the components and the actually still worked but also showed this condition. So I have ruled out the java side as a source of the problem.
Looking at HRP1001 I see the following relationships among suspect objects.
Object P 1234567 to Object S 9876543 via B008
Object S 1234567 to Object O 9876543 via A012
no relationships US to P via A208
Given the Eval Path above, does anyone have any idea why this would display this way or have a suggested approach to solve.

not all relationships represent physical data records in the database. some are derived and without looking at the system, I believe the US 208 to P is a derived relationship.

Open in... not working for PDF in iOS6

Hi,
I have just upgraded to iOS 6 and can no longer view PDF files from email on my new iPad. The preview image appears fine and when I tap and hold on it, the "Open in.." window appears with app icons. When I pick an app, the popover goes away and nothing happens. It doesn't seem to be an issue with other files, just PDF. I have tried picking a number of apps and the issue is the same. The same file opens fine on my iphone too. I can use the Open In functionality from GoodReader so the problem only seems to be with Mail.
Has anyone else experienced issues with this? Is there any way of fixing it? I'd also like to turn off the PDF preview in Mail if possible so the file just shows as an icon.

And do I understand it right that the "to large" number of apps (with the ability to open PDF-files ...) DID create the described "open-in-problem" ONLY in Apples MAIL-APP but (for example) NOT in GoodReader ?

Dynamic link not working for PPCS4 after installing CS4

Background. I had CS3 Master Collection. I then needed some features in PPCS4 so I purchased that as a standalone upgrade. Recently I decided to upgrade the entire suite to CS4 Creative Suite 4. Everything installed fine. However when I try to go from PPCS4 using Dynamic Link I get a message that says Adobe Dynamic Link requires Adobe Production Premium (which I have). I assumed I needed to delete PPCS4 and I went so far as to delete the entire CS4 suite + the Premiere Pro and start over. Again, it installed fine but the same problem happens all over again.
Is there some config file somewhere or registry tweak so I can use dynamic link? I am on Vista 64 machine.

Use the uninstall scripts from Adobe to completely remove all vestiges of PPro from your computer. Then perform the installation.
