MMS saving pics

Anyone else experiencing problems saving pictures from MMS messaging after upgrading to 4.1? This is pretty crummy imo. I have reset all settings and will try a restore when I get home from work, just looking to see if anyone else is experiencing the issue.

I'm having the same problem. I've noticed that when I try to save pics from texts or e-mails, they never show up in the camera roll. When I take pictures with the camera immediately after trying to save from texts or e-mails, they are deleted when I reboot the phone.

My Iphone4 just stopped saving pics to camera roll from screen shot,email,safari,text and more.....

I have a 32gb iphone4 with ios 4.3.5(8L1). Yesterday I was given ,via sd card, 6 pictures of me that were taken a few days ago. I emailed these pics from my home computer to myself so I could save them on my iphone4, so I could edit them in Camera+ and post them on Instagram. I saved all 6 from email to my camera roll no problem. Then I imported the first one into Camera+ and edited it. When I went to save the edited picture to my camera roll it took a long time to save. (or so I thought it was saving). When I went to my camera roll to look at it my camera roll said " Rebuilding Camera Roll ". When it was done my picture was not there. So I tried again with the same outcome. Then I tried to go back to my email and save another picture. No luck, " Rebuilding Camera Roll " and no picture saved after that. So then I tried to edit a picture that I actually took with my Iphone4 built in camera and same issue. Then I tried to take a picture through Camera+ and same outcome. Then I tried to save through safari and still no luck. Then I went back to my email picture and did a screenshot. It worked!! Then I tried it again and it did not work. Then I tried to master reset and this did not fix anything. Then I turned my phone off over night thinking that would do the trick, nope! Then I tried all the above again today with no luck. Then I called Apple Tech. and they want $30 to talk to them to ask them what is wrong. That made me very disappointed since I paid over $400 dollars for my phone and pay over $1500 a year to use it. That's bad business if you ask me and will weigh in when it is time to renew. Does anyone have any insight on what the problem may be and, or how to fix it?? Please help!! Thank you very much!

Ighnot, are you jailbroken? Cause I am and I have the same problem except worse. I can't save a single pic, every single time I get the thumbnail grey box with jpg in it and the actual pic is black. Only way I get pic is by zooming in then taking screenshot and I still get the stupid safari toolbox and address bar in the pic

Camera roll not saving pics

my camera roll not saving any pics at all. I can take pics from the Phone when it comes to see the pics in camera roll its not going or saving there. Any sololution reply me here plz. thanks

Well, I would try restoring it as a new iPhone rather than from a backup (as the backup could contain the issue) and if that does not solve the problem, then I suggest you take it to a Genius Bar for evaluation.
Before you do that, make sure you have your data synced to iCloud or iTunes so that you can get it back afterwards by redownloading and syncing, rather than from a backup.

Saving pics all day in JPEG, suddenly they are being saved w/name of pic as format?

I don't know why they are suddenly being saved with the name of the pic as the format. Of course they won't open! Any ideas?

What operating system and version of photoshop elements are you using?
You mean no file extension is visible in the saved jpeg name?

Does anyone know how I can save pics off the internet or from email onto my Ipod Touch? Seems like apple looked over this feature....

Touch and hold the picture, the option to save will pop up, saved images can be found in you "photos" app....
...all provided you have 2.0 software of course.

755p Hot Sync erased all previously saved pics...Advice Please.

When I Hot Sync from 755p to PC, all pics from device are usually saved to My Documents\Palm OS Desktop\755p\Photos\BackupForInternal\Palm so I typically delete the pics from device because all new pics are added to any that were saved previously to PC and I have all pics I ever took. Unfortunately, I do not have memory card and did not back up the pics from PC to disk.
Today, I Hot Sync and the new pics that were on my device were saved to PC as usual but this time all pics that were saved previously to PC were erased.
How can I get these erased pics back?
Will system restore (Windows XP) to point prior to last hot sync work?

What are the chances that recovering to an earlier point will recover the images to Palm Desktop?

My iPod 3 will not let me copy my saved pics onto my cpu. Help?

how can i copy pics saved onto my iPod into a folder on my cpu. Everytime I connect it and attempt to copy the pics, it goes thru the motion then tells me the files can not be copied

If you go to My Computer>iPod>DCIM can you see and copy the photos to yur computer?

Why do my saved pics/images have a green mark on the all of a sudden after 4 months of non use on my G3?

I went to look aty images after not using my G3 desktop for a few months and all of the pics have a big green mark on the lower half of them, any ideas whats going on and how to correct it?

Who is your carrier and what is your coverage with them? If you are with say Verizon, and have Total Equipment Coverage or Extended Coverage, they will swap it out for you under Manufacturer Warrantee.

Saving pics from the web into photos for Asha 302

This has been mentioned before for other phones. For the Asha302 seems not to be as straight forward as my old Nokia 310. Is there a simple way? Thanks

You can use Opera mini and save the images by pressing 1 or by long pressing center menu key on an image and saving them to any folder of your choice.
Get opera mini from store.

Ally - saving pic's from txt

is there some trick to saving a picture to my gallery that I receive in a txt? a menu screen flashes very quickly when I select the picture (to zoom) from the txt message, but doesn't stay...so i cannot save the picture to my gallery. nothing in the manual on how to do this, either....help!

In the conversation list, long press the picture you want, this will bring up an options menu, then choose save.

You can save it by pressing and hold the file and then tap Copy attached to SD card on the options menu. Or you can download the app called Save MMS. That lets you save pictures,videos,sounds from text messages.

How to change apple ID on iPad without losing any saved pics

Hello, I gave my wife my iPad 2 with the understanding that as soon as I could afford it I could get a new iPad. I never changed the apple id on her machine and she now has over a thousand pics that she doesn't want to lose and this friday I'm picking up the new iPad. What are my options in regards to the pics? Also there is no iTunes via computer as an option. Thanks

Why would you believe that changing the ID would cause loss of photos?

5230 Nuron - Saving pics sent in txt msgs

I can't seem to save pictures sent in text messages but I could before today. I open the message, Select the image to open it, In the open image I press Options -> Save... and it just goes back to the message and doesn't save the image. I tried pressing Options -> Objects -> Options ->Save in the message and it just takes me back to the Inbox and doesn't save the image. It worked before. As I recall, it would ask me if I wanted to save it to the phone or the memory card. I would select the memory card and it would save it and tell me its been saved to the gallery. It's not doing that now. I checked the memory and I still have a 1gb of space on the card and 41.5 mb on the phone so room to save it isn't an issue. Any ideas?

Saving Pics on Multiple Devices

What is the best way to share photos among all my devices? I have several ipads etc. I don't want them to be deleted every 30 days which is my understanding with ICloud.

That is not how iCloud works. It backs up the contents of your camera roll when on, connected to wifi and in sleep mode.
To answer your question, I use dropbox. It's a free app for all platforms and devices and automatically uploads all pictures and video once a day when connected to your home wifi. Add it to the computer, iPad, smart phone, iPod touch, etc.
You can get 5 GB of free storage. Your pics are available on all devices to download any time.

Saving pics in subfolder from website

i have purposely created sub folders within other folders so I can organize pics that I save from websites or most importantly from a family member's online photo album. Maybe it's just me, but when I right click in the macworld and select "Save image as," i see a little window appear that says "Export As" and below it "Where" - all i see are the folders:
Macintosh HD
iDisk
Desktop
my name with a little house next to it on the left
Applications
Documents
Recent Places
Why doesn't it show the Pictures folder in the list?
Even so, I have already created sub folders under Documents and when I click on Documents, none of them are showing up. Is there a way to have the Pictures folder appear in the list and to have sub folders show up too? Thank you in advance for your help!

I do know about the triangle and the sidebar, so let's see if I can clarify this further:
In Safari or Firefox, I control click on an image on a website and choose "save image as". There is no option to choose "export".
