MMS simply doesn't work, red exclamation point every time.
can't send a picture over MMS at all. Please advise.
MMS Problem,
I agree with everything chris has said. Another thing you can try is go to settings, general, reset, all network settings. This is probably an ATT fail, but it may be your phone accessing the ATT network. If it does not work i suggest going into ATT and getting it checked. They will probably replace the sim card and test for data transfer. Best of luck

Exclamation points every time ater lengthy restoration
I just got through spending 5 hours trying to restore my 5th generation ipod after having so many problems with it and was wondering: Why are there always exclamation points by all my songs everytime I open iTunes when I spent over two hours trying to import all the songs from my ipod to the computer? At first there were 2 and sometimes 5 duplicate songs where I had to open each file to see which one was working. I have imported everything back into iTunes after my computer crashed and erased everything in the library and was finally making headway. I deleted the files that had the exclamation points leaving the real ones in the library which seriously took over 5 hours. So I am so defeated right now. Can someone please help me? I have been having problems with my ipod for over 2 months Am I going to have to add folders and delete duplicates everytime I go into iTunes?

Backup Assistant Plus simply doesn't work, how do I disable it?
I have a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S III and when I set up my contacts, I added them as "Phone" entries with the expectation that the Backup Assistant Plus app would allow me to back them up. Except that it doesn't and, from what I've seen online, it is a miserable piece of junk that simply doesn't work for many people.

I sent all my contacts as a big V-card to my Gmail account, sorted things out in Gmail, unjoined them all on the phone, and deleted the Phone entries. Now I only have Gmail contact entries and they synch with no issues.
My only question now is, how do I disable/stop Backup Assistant Plus so that it doesn't constantly give me notifications about how incapable it is? I've tried clearing it's data and forcing it to stop. But it comes back from the dead, like a demonic zombie! It appears the only thing the app can do is resurrect it itself for the sole purpose of notifying me that it will fail to do anything useful.

The reason the steps to uninstall the app didn't work is because the DROID 3 is running Gingerbread (Android 2.3). The instructions above were for the Samsung Galaxy S III running either ICS (Android 4.0) or Jelly Bean (Android 4.1).
You can however "Clear the Data" for the app and from that point never use the app. The phone will learn to not load it into the RAM in case you ever use it. -
Log and Transfer: Red exclamation points are attacking our project!
We are shooting a documentary with a HVX and a Firestore in 720p/24p. Every shoot, we move the files from the Firestore to the hard drive. We then log and transfer off of the drive to a G-Raid scratch disk.
Up until the other day, we were having no problems "logging and transferring". For some reason, we are now able to play and label the clip, but when we go to "add clip to queue" a red exclamation point keeps coming up.
This is inclusive of old and new footage. I have tried to change the length of the file names as well as restart Final Cut as well as the drives.

Shane's Stock Answer #36 - "One or more clips failed to import..."
Very often in the field with this camera the camera operator will delete clips from the P2 card that they just don't like. That is the beauty of this camera. But, the still for that video file (located in the CLIP folder in the CONTENTS folder)...the still that you see when you are in the P2 Import window...is not deleted. So you will see the image, and the name, but the video file would have been deleted.
What you can do it compare the file names in the VIDEO folder and CLIP folder and see if anything is missing. If something is, then you know what the problem is. You can then just import the rest a few at time, skipping that one.
ALSO...in the P2 Import window...in the P2 Browser, there is a little sprocket drop down menu. Click on that and choose PREFERENCES. Uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN and then try importing again.
ALSO...make sure your file names aren't too long. Try shortening them and see if that works.

Creative Cloud Desktop on Mavericks logs out and has a red exclamation point.
I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with OS Mavericks on it. Since then, I can log into Creative Cloud desktop with no issues and use the app. But once my laptop goes to sleep and I wake it up, I will have a red exclamation point on the icon in the menu bar. If I click on the icon in the menu bar it will tell me the problem is with apps and if I click on apps it will eventually update and the red exclamation point will go away. But sometimes, when I click on the creative cloud icon in the menu bar it will say there is a problem with the connection and allows me to retry which will eventually get me back in or sometimes it will have just logged me out and I have to log back in.
It never did this before, I was able to just log in once and it would always be logged in and no network problems.
Any ideas?
Thank you.I had similiar problem and i just stopped using Creative Cloud desktop. There's lot of other issues with that application that cannot be fixed since July.
I doubt that this application was created by some who ever worked on Mac. That's why i would recommend patience and disabling launching at start. -
I just bought a new iPad and can't get the text messaging to work. When I try to address the message a red exclamation point appears and says the person is not registered. How do I register them? They are already in my contacts list & they all are active in my iPhone text messaging.

Red exclamation point when booting
My Apple Watch, 38mm sport, displays a red exclamation point. It seem frozen after I tried to re-associate it with my iPhone. I've been struggling the whole day to reboot it pressing both digital crown and side button, following instructions on www.apple.com/help/watch. Am I lucky enough to have to ask Apple to ship me a replacement in 2 months? Any help would be highly appreciated.
BTW: I'm not the only one encountering the same issue. Do you guys form Apple looking into this? I don't believe this is related to hardware.

Patrick was really great, walked me though everything (the "reset" at the bottom of the Settings -> General on the Watch - duh!); the way you can un-pair the Apple Watch (iPhone Watch app ->My Watch -> Apple Watch -> unpair Apple Watch, which is probably what I should have done first) - the tip that if you're talking to someone on the LTE network and trying to pair (as I was with him), it may not work as well as if you're just on wireless (he called back on my husband's phone)

It means you are trying to communicate with a person who the device cannot reach. Are you using a phone number or email to reach this person? Check your settings for iMessage and make sure that "Send as SMS" is ON.

Are you using the "Reflections" theme in your slide show? Then the mirrored reflection is built in and you cannot remove it. It is part of the design. Pick a different theme, if you do not like this feature.

Honestly, if you want help it is generally a good idea to ask a specific question and give some details of what problem is occurring.
If trying to move media, using home sharing is simply a bad idea. Follow some of the other instructions in the article from which the question was posted to move media. -
I am using iPhoto 9 to make a book. The cover of my new book looks perfect on screen, but when print it out before I have it published the cropping is all off. There is also a red exclamation point on the cover image. I have checked and rechecked but to no avail. Can you help? Bill Perlmutter
That red exclamation point can mean either that the image on the cover is below the resolution limit that Apple has set for photos to make good prints or that there is missing text in a text box or there's some text that has overflowed the text box.
The resolution limit that is set in iPhoto for photos is 110 dpi, i.e. the PrintWarningImageDPI value in this screenshot of iPhoto's preference file:

It's not an absolute thing. Many have reported getting books that had photos with the low resolution warning indicator and it was perfectly satisfactory.
But check to see if it's an image or text warning.

I am unable to import RAW Nikon (.NEF) files into my iPad version 6.1.3. Can anyone explain to me how to import RAW files? I continually get a red exclamation point with RAW files while jpegs have no problem. Other discussions indicate that RAW files can be imported. Many thanks for yur help.
