MMS won't send an image

texts work fine but it won't send an image, worked fine earlier, internet is fine

Please be more specific. "Won't send an image" - Do you mean you can't attach the image in the iPhone? You start sending it but it doesn't finish? Sent but doesn't arrive? Get an error message?
Do you have Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging > ON?
When you post a problem, it really helps to give as much info as you can. If someone posted a message on a car support forum saying "My car starts but won'g go, went fine earlier" do you think anyone could help him just with that info?
BTW, SMS and MMS aren't internet related - they're sent over the cell voice network

  • MMS won't send pictures

I got a text from AT&T saying to check for updates on my iPhone to get the picture mail. I now have it on my phone but the pictures won't send. The sending bar will go about 4/5 of the way but will stop after that. Does anyone know why that's happening?

Well, I guess I just expected something that has worked on every other phone I have had for the past 6 years to work on the worlds most advanced smartphone, I guess we should just take shoddy network infrastructure and keep our mouths shut. If I was not paying a major premium for the AT&T network (which, by the way, is the only LEGAL option in the US) I would not be so constantly disappointed with dropped calls and vapor dates and poorly executed rollouts. It is just time that Apple got this wonderful phone on other networks so we would have some choices.

  • E70 MMS won't send or receive

I have an E70 phone but I cannot send or receive picture messages. My settings allow me to retrieve using cingular mms and I have no restrictions. When I create a new message, I insert the object and send. On my display it changes status to Resend. When I select the message to send again, the status changes to waiting and then back to resend. What can I do?

I asked for a new sim card in case mine is too old. I will try that and if that don't work, get the latest firmware. Thanks for the input, we might just get this resolved.

Hello marcilisa. Sorry to hear you are encountering these issues with your G2. You mentioned not being able to boot your phone in Safe Mode. Have you tried the Alternative Method?
Alternative Method - Enable Safe Mode
      • Ensure the device is powered off.
      • Press and hold the Power button (located on the back) until the options menu appears then release.
      • Select Power off.
      • Select OK.
Allow several seconds for the device to power off.
      • Press and hold the Volume down button and the Power button.
      • Release only the Power button when the LG logo appears.
      • Release the Volume down button when Safe Mode appears on the screen.
Also, what zip code are you located in?

  • IMessage/MMS won't send pictures

    Hi all,
I have a problem: not always i CANT send any pictures at all via iMessage or MMS. It just stay stuck at 90%... Or sometimes it will be sent after 3 mins.
It happens over Wifi, but also 3G/Edge.
    I have iOS 5 on a iPhone 4S, i happened on my iPhone 4 on iOS 4.x.x
    Any clues?

I can only say that this happened to me, but I figured out why.  I had lost my Wifi connection but the phone still showed it connected.  I moved to Mail and Safari and sure enough it had dropped the Internet connection.  The iMessage just spun and the battery drained.  I had to delete the message to stop the transmit attempts and re-establish the connection.

  • TS2755 MMS won't send after iOS 7

My husband and I are both experiencing issues sending MMS.  We are on AT&T and did not have issues until we upgraded to the latest iOS 7, and 7.02.  If relevent we each have an iPhone 4.  Is this issue common and has a fix in the works, or found?

Follow the below given 3 step and you will be good to iMessage again.
    01. Open up your Settings app and tap ‘Messages’, then disable iMessage by tapping the toggle
    02. Go back into the main Settings screen, then tap ‘General’ and then ‘Reset’. Now tap ‘Reset Network Settings’ and confirm the process — you may have to enter your passcode if you have one set
    03. Return to the Messages section and enable iMessage again
IF the above suggestion doesnt work for you try resetting your device.
Reset your Device with the following steps.
Keep holding the Sleep/wake button along with Home Button, ignore the ON/OFF slider your device screen will go black in few seconds and another few seconds an apple logo will appears on screen you can release the both the button now wait for the Device to start and see if this have resolved the issue (No data will be lost in this process)

  • MMS won't send via Handcent

If I try sending an MMS via Handcent, it delays for an unusual amount of time, hours or even days.  Other 3rd party apps also have not worked.  It will however work using the stock messenger.  And sending a photo to the same recipient after trying using Handcent will force both MMS messages through.  I've cleared data and cache on Handcent, soft reset, etc.  No luck.  Any ideas?

According to this thread on Android Forums:  http://androidforums.com/htc-rezound/676666-handcent-mms-problem.html
there are two things that others have found to get Handcent to send MMS.
In handcent go to settings...application settings......default messaging application..... Then pick at the bottom "use for all SMS & mms"
... have to turn on 4G or the MMS never goes through.
I assume "turning on 4G" means Mobile Data.  Evidently the stock text app will turn on mobile data and send if it is off, but Handcent will not.  Once the stock text app turns on 4G/Mobile Data then both send.  That's my 2 cents.
A test is to turn off WiFi and turn on Mobile Data and try to send from Handcent.  Does it work?

  • Lightroom 5 won't send my images to photoshop

Hi can anyone help I just uninstalled photoshop cc after downloading the latest photoshop cc 2014.
Now when I go in to Lightroom I select an image go to edit in Photoshop. Photoshop opens but my image doesn't open up.
    Can anyone help please?
    Thank you

I went through (using the uninstall program from the control panel) and deleted all my old versions of PS, PP, AE, AU  and other Adobe programs, mostly because my c drive is small and solid state.  I own a copy of LR outside of the CC, and because it contains so much fragile info I make changes to it very carefully and slowly.  I also uninstalled the current PS.  I then reinstalled PS and that solved the LR PS link problem.  Most of my plug ins in PP are missing, and I'm working through that problem now.
It would be nice to understand why LR and PS were not getting along. I've learned to never expect PS to be rational or user friendly.  It just is what it is.
Julianne Kost's blog is worth reading to keep up to date on LR, or at least check when you have issues.

  • Won't send MMS msg

I tried sending to a few buds and then tried sending individual, but the mms won't send. I'm sending a pic with text underneath. Anyone else having this problem? The same thing happened last week.

I also cannot send mms pics taken with my phone camera. iphone 4 with 32g mem. updated to v4 software. It has sent mms pics in the past when I was in a 3g service area. It will not send in a non 3g wireless area. I have cycled the power on and off. I'm assuming it will only work in a 3g service area?

  • Pages 5.2.2 won't "send to back"

    Hi,
I have recently upgraded my Pages version to 5.2.2.  I am having an issue moving an image backward.  If I click "Send to Back" it won't go behind my text.  I have gone into Format-Arrange and used the 'Send to Back' icons, and have also used the Arrange drop down.  Both won't send my image all the way to the back.
    Please help.

I thought it used to be easy too. And when I tried it with 5.2.2 this evening neither buttons on the Inspector's 'Arrange' menu nor the  'Arrange' drop down menu itself would allow selection. They were all greyed out.
I think they've now added a thing called 'Section Master' under the 'Arrange' menu. I highlighted  the image (handles now showing) and in the 'Arrange' menu I selected 'Section Masters' and then clicked 'Move Object to Section Master' which did the trick.

  • Hi, I am wondering why my iphone won't send pictures through messages, I have MMS on and I have tried sending it with 3G on aswell and still doesn't work. Someone please help me :)

Hi, I am wondering why my iphone won't send pictures through messages, I have MMS on and I have tried sending it with 3G on aswell and still doesn't work. Someone please help me :)

    Hey lozza567,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues sending MMS messages. The following resource may provide a solution:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2755
Issues with sending and receiving MMS
You will need these to send and receive MMS:
    - An iPhone 3G or later.
    - iOS 3.1 or later.
    - A cellular data connection. MMS isn't available if you are using only Wi-Fi.
    - A domestic MMS plan from your cellular provider. You may need an international messaging plan to send MMS to an international contact. Contact your carrier for more information.
    - A roaming MMS when using a cellular provider's network different from your billing cellular provider's network. Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.
To resolve issues with sending and receiving MMS, follow these steps first
    1. Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
    2. Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on.
    3. Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Cellular Data on.
    4. Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Data Roaming on if you are roaming on a cellular provider network different from your billing provider's network.
    5. Verify that you have a cellular data connection in the status bar at the top left of your iPhone.
    6. Go to Settings and turn Wi-Fi off. Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify that you have a data connection. Turn Wi-Fi back on to continue using Wi-Fi for other features. If your cellular data connection isn't available, follow these steps.
    7. Verify that you can send and receive SMS. If you are unable to send and receive SMS, see the "Issues with sending and receiving SMS" section, above.
    8. MMS may not be available while on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn more about which network your phone supports.
    9. Restart your iPhone.
    10. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
    11. Reseat your SIM card.
If you are still unable to send or receive MMS, follow these steps
    1. Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
    2. Go to Settings > Messages and turn on group messaging if you are sending a group message.
    3. Make sure that you are using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need the contact's international code.
    4. Verify a "Pay as you go" MMS plan has enough available balance. Contact your carrier if unsure of your MMS plan or available balance.
    5. If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
    6. If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and re-create the contact from the Contacts application. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
    7. Back up and restore your iPhone as new.
    8. If your carrier has recently ported your phone number, the porting process may not be complete. Contact your carrier to confirm that the porting process is complete.
    9. Contact your carrier to verify that you are provisioned to send SMS and are in an area with cellular coverage.
    10. Contact your carrier to verify that there are no blocks or filters placed on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.
    11. Your carrier may require APN settings to be modified to use MMS. Learn more about when you should adjust APN settings.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Revolution Won't Send MMS

My Revolution won't send MMS! I would like to fix this problem, but am unsure how. Please help.

    Hello ediepenh,
Sending pictures is fun, creates memories, and is a big part of using our phones. If this did not work for me when using my phone, I would be upset and would want it corrected as soon as possible.
Thanks very much, Ann154, for your suggestion. Ediepenh, have you been able to send a picture since posting? Are you able to receive messages? To test your incoming and outgoing capabilities for picture messaging, please send a picture to your own mobile phone. If you receive the picture, you are able to both send and receive pictures.
If you are still having issues with this, please let me know by sending me a DM with your name, mobile number, and a contact nubmer to reach you. I will be happy to assist you further and provide you with a resolution.
    Thanks!

  • Phone won't send image through Messages

I currently have an iPhone 5 (iOS 7.1.1) and for the last week I haven't been able to send any image through Messages. I'll hit send, and it will show delivered, but after 10-15 seconds it pops up with the red exclamation point and says "Not Delivered." I've tried a hard restart on my phone, turning off wi-fi to see if that was the issue, and checked through my Settings. Everything seems to be in order, but I still can't send them. The only way they will go through is if I send as a Text Message, which is frustrating. Has anyone else had this same issue? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks for any help that you can give!!

  • Won't send mms since 5.0 update

My iphone 4 won't send mms since I updated it to the 5.0

Found the solution to my problem in another thread...
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11633377#11633377
Essentially, I tracked down my CosmoPod installation and moved it to the desktop. My CosmoPod was in HD>Library>Input Managers, though others have found it in a folder called SIMBL in Application Support.

double check that you have MMS turn ON.
if the link doesn't help, then contact your cell phone provider as MMS is a carrier feature.
