Mobee magic mouse charger

hello..
so I bought the new mac pro with magic mouse and it's mobee charger ...
i used the mouse at 1st (it was working fine) and then when i opened the mobee charger i had to replace the regular apple (energizer) batteries with the batteries block that comes with the mobee charger.
fitting the block inside the mouse wasnt easy (dono why) however i guess i managed to do so correctly as the mobee is flashing green i.e. mouse is charging .. yet when i turned on the mouse it didnt give me the green light (at its back) .. shall i wait for it to be fully charged (mobee steady green light) before it really turns on or is there a problem with it?
thx

yessss!!!
after contacting the iStyle stores here in UAE i found out that no one is ready to or can help, not even the Mobee guys ..
so i sent this complaint to the mobee (check their website) and after explaining this issue and sending pictures of the mouse (for them to make sure i fitted the battery pack correctly) they appologized and made some "exceptions" and sent me a brand new pack .. shipped from china..
personally i dont wanna use it anymore ... i guess there may be a mismatch in the manufacturing/design that is making the pack not fully compatible with the mouse (or maybe we were just unlucky) .. id rather keep normal batteries in the magic mouse or just use the comfy mac pro pad!!!
send an email to this address >>> Support <[email protected]> ... they got me the new pack delivered ON TIME! (Y)
goodluck!

  • Magic Charger for the Magic Mouse doesn´t work

    Hi,
I´ve recently did my first purchase on the apple store,
I´ve bought the magic charger from mobee for the Magic Mouse,
which has been working all good with the normal batteries,
but since I´ve install the new magic charger batteries I just can´t make
work the magic mouse, I´ve plug the magic charge into a usb from the iMac 24"
I´ve wait almost a day so tha the Magic Mouse charge the batteries than
when I switch on the Magic Mouse doesn´t work, the green light from Magic Mouse stands off,
so obviously the bluetooth from iMac 24" doesn´t recognize Magic Mouse,
    ¿Any suggestion?
Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Allan Jones,
I don´t know under with authority you´ve answered this thread,
but and don´t get me wrong, your message was completely worthless.
Since I did a purchase on the apple store, the apple store should answer
for every inconvenient with the product than I did purchase, and as Apple
is a big multinational who cares for his customers, they did so Apple store sended
special transport to my home to get the malfunctional Magic Charger and than
they send me a new one which seems would work fine.
Thank you very much in advance.

  • Magic Charger  Mobee for Magic Mouse doesn't work with Mac OS X lion Mountain

The Magic Charger  Mobee for Magic Mouse  Apple
with Mac OS X lion Mountain
makes connections overflows and stops the system work.
What could I do, other that disconnect Magic Charger?

When you say you cannot add the printer, with the Add Printer pane open, is the 6250 visible in the Default Add Printer view? If no then it could be the USB cable at fault and I suggest you try another cable.
If the printer is visible but the Mac fails to locate a driver when you select it then you may have to trash the contents of the BJPrinters folder (HD > Library > Printers > Canon) and then run the iX6250 driver installer again.

  • My Magic Mouse and Mobee charges seems to lose the connection every day. I've used it with no problem for about 6 months or so, no it keeps losing connection even after recharging overnight. Any ideas?

I seem to lose the connection of my Magic Mouse often, daily and sometimes several times during the day using the Mobee charger even after charging overnight.  Ideas?
The charger is plugged into my Cinema Display and has worked fine for 6 months or more.
    Thanks !

    Thanks Steve-
The problem seems to have just gone away.
I wrote to Mobee, and their answer is to take the batteries out, recharge and see if that does the trick.
Having been through this once before, and sending pictures along of the MM, which didn't help, it was just an oddball problem that has gone away.
I'll keep an eye on things.
I guess it's just one of those mysteries of Apple and the third party.

  • Mobee Magic Charger Broken

My Mobee Magic Chrager is not charging my Apple Magic Mouse. I bought this 2 items together from the online Apple store yesterday. When I used the normal batteries, the Magic Mouse worked fine. But when I put the Mobee batteries in and let it fully charge overnight, it wouldn't work! If someone could please help me solve this problem or recommend returning it and buying a new one. Thanks!

Wish I could give you a concrete answer but the new system doesn't show your device or the system you use.   If it is Mountain lion there are some references in More like this (below this post).   Read those and links from them for a clue.   It looks like there is conflict between Magic mouse and Mobee with some OSs.   To check this, all you can do is try running with batteries.

  • Magic Mouse only works with Mobee Rechargeable

I have had a Magic Mouse for years. I don't recall how long. A couple of years ago I bought the Mobee Magic Charger and have mostly been happy with it. However, lately I cannot get my Magic Mouse to work with anything BUT the Mobee rechargeable unit. Normal batteries won't turn it on.
Anyone have ideas of what could be wrong?

After the initial full charge of the battery pack I get nothing. The green light is steady. However, when I power on the magic mouse and try to pair it with my iMac, it never connects. Also, the green light on the mouse itself is no longer lighting up.
Does it not blink when you flip the switch off then on?
Some people have complained about not being able to re-pair after a battery change.  Smc and/or pram reset might help here but don't bother since you apparently have a bigger problem to solve.
And if that weren't enough, the battery pack is stuck and I cannot remove it from the mouse. The mouse was working just perfectly when I was using the AA alkaline batteries. Am I missing something? Or is this a defect in the product?
Defect in the battery pack perhaps.  I would call Mobee and ask them for their opinion.  Maybe the batteries were defective and swelled in the case (just guessing).

  • My macbook pro(Lion 10.7.2) continually lost connection with the magic mouse, which charged well.

There is something wrong with my new macbook pro MD322(Lion 10.7.2). It continually lost connection with the magic mouse. I ensure that the mouse is charged well. I also looked up the matter on Web. It looks that the matter is familiar for many users.

I have a m-audio fast track pro that I'm having a similar problem when using it with my new Macbook Air. I found changing it to 16 bit will work.
I have a Apogee iMic that works fine so my guess is we will have to wait for Avid/M-Audio to update drivers.

  • Magic Mouse with mobee

Hi i just put the mobee inside and my mac cant see it as magic mouse any longer, it just looks like in computer as ordinary bluetooth mouse so i cant use like a real magic mouse, do you thing there is connection between those problems and mobee? thx
or do i have to have software installed specially for magic mouse?

    Thanks Steve-

  • Magic Mouse on Magic Charger

The Magic Mouse that I use loses the connection after a few minutes of use. I must then shut it of and restart it again to be discovered. There seems to be no problem with Magic Charger, though I feel there might be a link to the "dropping" question.

Check that the battery compartment cover is completely closed. Listen for the "click." The Magic Charger battery unit is a tight fit. It's easy to think the compartment cover is completely closed when it isn't.

  • Two Magic Mouses, same batteries, different charge percentage

I noticed an annoying issue with a Magic Mouse: it shows a very low charge level of the batteries inside, and it's not just a visualization problem because it actually turns off when the level goes under 20% or so.
The problem is related to this particular Magic Mouse because I tried to put the same battery pack into another Magic Mouse, and this one showed me 100% of battery charge, while the previous one showed 52%.
I tried also to repeat the test with another battery pack, again the faulty Magic Mouse shows 29%, while the other one 99%.
    Which could be the cause?

One of the two mice has a faulty charge indicator.   It could be either but I suspect the one which turns off at 20%.  Mark which batteries are which and go into a professional store that have the facilities (Maplins in the UK) and ask them to do a reading.   You can buy a battery charge reader for a few pounds for future use.

  • Magic mouse battery charge plummeted

Is anyone experiencing strange battery life behaviour with the magic mouse? Its only started doing it in the past month but I've got to the point where my rechargable batteries are lasting literally two (2) days. I've swapped my charger and batteries. I've been using nimh 2700's and nimh 2100's. One set branded, one not. They work fine in my bluetooth keyboard which holds a charge for weeks. For some reason the mouse is now unable to hold a charge.
    Is anyone else experiencing this?

Me too.  six month old MM, new batteries yesterday, down to 12% now.  Cannot find any solutions on line.  All indications are defective product.

  • Magic mouse loses connection with laptop unless laptop connected to charger

So, I've been seeing people have various problems with the Magic Mouse in Lion, but I haven't seen anyone with the exact problem as me. I lodged it as a bug with Apple, but I wondered if anyone has the same problem and maybe a solution.
I have an original MacBookAir and a Magic Mouse. Since upgrading to Lion, the Magic Mouse will only stay steadily connected to the laptop if I have the laptop plugged in and on the mains charger. If I am running the laptop on battery, the mouse disconnects and becomes unusable.

  • Magic Mouse batteries last only a day.

My Magic Mouse (with 2013 iMac) used a pair of Energiser Ultimate Lithium L91 3000 mAh batteries every six weeks. So I changed to Energiser Recharge 2400 mAh. They are the best rechargeable batteries available, but I now have to recharge them every day, but the same batteries in the keyboard last over a month between charges. Can this be correct?

Magic Mouse is really, REALLY terrible on batteries.
You are better off with using high end, high priced, non-rechargable batteries that are specifically design for high drain electronic devices.
Remember to turn the Magic Mouse off when not using it for prolonged periods of time.
    The batteries may last longer.
Look into one of these. This may help you with getting better battery life.

I really loathe the Apple Magic Mouse. I had one.It worked erratically, it was terrible with all but very expensive higher end lithium batteries and, generally problematic with Bluetooth pairing.
I returned mine within the 14 day return policy.
It looked great, but never worked great for me.
Look into the much better Apple Trackpad, instead OR purchase and use thisTrackpad from Logitech.
This is my new, favorite input device and works well on Macs and OS X as long as you install Logitech special trackpad software.

  • IMac doesn't recognize Mobee Magic Bar

I have fully charged the Magic Bar, but when connected the keyboard does not respond. There are multiple post for the magic mouse, but I haven't seen any for the Magic Bar. How do I repair the bluetooth connection? I am using Lion 10.8.

I think you need to contact Mobee support or check the help and support section of their website.
It's an issue with their product.
    Good Luck!

  • Magic Mouse keeps losing connection.

This is NOT a batteries issue. I use a mobee Magic Charger in place of batteries. Charge is at 100%.
I removed it from Bluetooth devices and re-"found" it, have rebooted since. I re-set the PRAM.
There are no other Bluetooth devices normally in the same room, nor any wireless or cell phones - other than a wireless Apple keyboard (also set up with a mobee charger) - which I assume would be made not to interfere with an Apple wireless mouse.
Using an iMac, Intell, OS 10.7.5
Mouse drops out several time a day with a "connection lost" message. It acts like it has lost power - I can set it on the charging plate for a few minutes, then try again, and it usually comes back.
But, I made sure to charge it fully last week, and it only lasted about 20 minutes. In systems preferences the mouse shows 100% charge. Yet, just now, it lost connection after about a minute of use.

What you are asking is to essentially debug a Mobee magic charger problem (not, IMHO, a Bluetooth problem or a mouse problem). Like any other product, the Mobee battery pack has a 1/2 life. Mobee's web site has this information:
    http://www.mobeetechnology.com/support.html?catid=11&kbartid=35
You have a couple of options:
    1. Place "regular" batteries in the device and see what happens. That would eliminate the Mobee device as a problem area.
    2. Replace the Mobee battery pack.
    Barry
P.S. The Mobee web site also has a post from a user indicating the charge data is incorrect (when using the Mobee device).
