Mobil.aftonbladet.se results in XML Parsing Error: undefined entity

On Nokia N900.
Was OK before, but now (since friday 27 aug 2010) gives:
XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: http://mobil.aftonbladet.se/
Line number 18, Column 366:
...

Hi, thanks for the reply. That site is OK now.
If you have time, check out mobil.dn.se, which gives similar error on my N900:
XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag...
Which sounds like their web-programmers need some basic training. But that site is displayed correctly by Firefox 3.5.6 on my PC. I suppose that version is more tolerant to errors in the web pages? Will the mobile version of Firefox be developed to be more like the PC version in that way?

I had this problem - it appeared to be due to having Firefox 4 with the Firefox Sync installed as an add-on. Firefox 4 has sync included so there is no need to have it as an add-on. I went to the add-on manager and removed Firefox Sync and now appears to be working correctly.

    Hello,
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
'''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
#Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default (your profile folder with bookmarks etc. WILL NOT BE DELETED):
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
#*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
#Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.

  • XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: chrome://weave/content/options.xul Line Number 6, Column 3:

I have this combination installed on two different machines (one is WinXP, the other Win7).
When I goto the Addons screen to see which addons are installed and I click the "option" button for the Firefox Sync addon I get a popup window that gives me this error message.
The full details are as follows:

You don't need the Firefox Sync 1.7 extension with Firefox 4, Sync is a built in feature. Uninstall that extension and that error message shouldn't appear.

  • XML Parsing Error: undefined entity; div id="ed_netOffline" &netOffline.longDesc; /div ; My internet is working

I googled up "the diet cure julia ross pdf" and clicked on the URL below. I ended up with a screen that shows information as shown in the troubleshooting information.
I am using Firefox version 5.0.1 and I am using Windows Vista Home basic SP 2.

I am able to open the page you mention http://www.filestube.com/j/julia+ross+diet with no problems. I did not notice any direct pdf link on that page, but did not drill down through the links.
I note the page contains adverts, have you got ad blocking software in use that may be causing problems ?
Try firefox in [[safe mode]] but do not make changes when you see the list of check boxes, just click on continue. If you have adblocking software, disable that before trying again.

  • URL in epub results in XML parsing error

    Hi
I am using inDesign to create epub ebooks,  but stumbling over inserting hyperlinks. Regular hyperlinks to  straightforward URLs work OK, but if I add a link to Google maps, like  this one...
    http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=[email protected],0.394&ll=51.443, 0.394&z=17&iwloc=A
    ... I get problems.
Some ebook readers refuse to load the book, reporting  XML parsing error: not well-formed. The red underline points to the  second equals symbol. Adobe Digital Editions loads the book, but the  hyperlink and everything following it are not displayed.
I have searched for help about this, and gather that  XML does not like equals signs. I have tried using percent encoding  (%3D) for  the second equals sign, but iD appears to insert "25" after  the % sign. I even tried using percent encoding for all the reserved  characers in the URL (ie :/=@,) but nothing I do seems to fix the  problem.
I would really appreciate some help  with this. I've run out of ideas.

In fact, I don't use XML DB and what I want to do is just to load XML file into the relational table and some parts of whole XML file will be inserted into the CLOB in the table. Why wouldn't you want to use XML DB in 10gR2 to handle XML? I didn't know there was another way. Anyway, you might want to ask this question in this forum.

What does the XML look like? It appears that some of the supposed XML stored as a CLOB is not really valid XML. Find the row in the table that is causing your issue and review the "XML" in it.

2.) create a sql statement to have data in the chart -> o.k.
3.) running report with this created region and chart -> vizualisation o.k.
    3.) create a data picker item ":P21_END_DATE"
    4.) replaced the where clause "WHERE a_timestamp >= To_date ('01.02.2007', 'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI') -1/24" with WHERE a_timestamp >= To_date (:P21_END_DATE, 'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI') -1/24

  • XML parsing error, whitespace expected

I'm seeing this "XML parsing" error in the SSRS Logs once in a while and I don't know what is causing it. The weird thing is that the report doesn't get this error everytime, most of the time it will work. I originally thought that
it might be the data that is being returned but I don't know if this is the case. Usually when a user gets an error, they'll just run it again later and it'll work the 2nd time. I looked at the report parameters in the ExecutionLogStorage table and the same
parameters are passed in each time.
Does anyone have any ideas of where I can look to get to the bottom of this one? Any help is appreciated.
