Mobil Intel(r) 945 Chipset Family WDDM 1.0 Driver, Version 8.15.10.1749, Release Date: 5/6/2009
Greetings: I need the above legacy video driver for a pair of ThinkPad X60s. I need it because current versions of the driver won't support the Matrox DuelHead2Go multidsiplay device. Where can one go to find this legacy video driver? Your help is very appriciated. Peter
Eric
Would you please try to clear your preferences and cache for Camera Raw? Can you also send me your system info from PS. Launch go to Photoshop>Help>System Info and send me via email [email protected] If you crash again can you please submit it to Adobe crash reporter (a dialog should come up) If you can record all your steps before crashing would be very helpful. Thanks!

Xinerama with a Mobile Intel 945GM graphics card
Hi,
I'm trying to write a xorg.conf to enable Xinerama. But as you've already guessed it isn't working.
Xinerama works perfectly fine, if i use xrandr.
Could please look over my config and tell me what's wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Informations you may need:
Im using the xf86-video-intel-legacy driver.

As to your editing of 'vga' to 'xf86-video-intel': you should replace it with 'intel'. There are many, many sample xorg.conf's out there that use the intel driver, so google is your friend.

+1
You can specify the amount of videoram in xorg.conf and you need to add the 1280*800 resolution to it too. That's all I had to do to get it to work on my father's laptop.
Zl.

External Monitor - MacBook - Intel GMA 945
Hey guys,
I've run into a problem running Windows Vista Ultimate on my 1st gen Macbook with Intel GMA 945 chipset. I have upgraded to Leopard.
Running a Mini-DVI to DVI converter and connecting to my LCD does not work any longer.
* I have run the external monitor on XP and Vista on previous versions of Bootcamp.
* The external monitor works fine on the Leopard side.
* When I plug in the cable my MacBook screen "flickers" - as if the graphics card detects the external monitor.
* When plugged in, the inbuilt Intel GMA 945 graphics driver does not display the option to "Output to" - something it did on previous versions of bootcamp.
* The inbuilt Vista multiple monitor detect thingo no longer pops up when I connect my monitor.
* My LCD monitor says that there is "No sync detected" when I plug in the cable.Sorry for reviving this thread from the dead, but I found a workaround and wanted to share it:
As mentioned on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … bug/796030 this is a known(?) bug with Kernel versions newer than 2.6.34.
So after downgrading to this version I was able to use the full resolution of the screen, but with a ~ 200pixel wide stripe missing between the monitors (External left of internal => virtual Screen of 3200*1200) and a equally sized stripe of the most left screen on the most right side. This stripe was only missing for the screen, but not for the mousecursor => If I wanted to press a button I had to press it ~200pixel right of it
(But I was able to use Composite Effects in Compiz)
This was resolved by disabling Composite in xorg.conf
not the full xorg.conf

Option "Composite" "Disable"

Does Intel GM45 Express Chipset support DirectX11 with Win 7
will Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset support DirectX new version 11 for Windows 7 ?
thnx,Hi
I found this Intel page and there you can find this info:
the highest level of Microsoft Windows Aero experience with enabled DX 10 support
http://www.intel.com/products/notebook/chipsets/gm45/gm45-overview.htm
It seems that this chipset supports DirectX 10 and lower.
PS: The DirectX 11 is available in Win 7 but its matter of graphic card if DirectX11 would be supported -
Intel 9 series chipset driver problem
hello
i know this is intel driver's problem, but as a manufacturer who use intel products especially chipset, can anyone tell intel that their "9 series" chipset driver is totally crap, absurd and so on? for those who are using this series of chipset, try checking their chipset driver via device manager and click any of "intel 9 series chipset family" driver under system devices or "intel 9 series chipset family usb..." driver under usb controllers and you can find that its driver provider are from microsoft and dated 2006. right, it is installed by operating system and chipset installer utility did nothing.
until intel knows about this thinsg, those who using 9 series chipset are using drivers from microsoft.Hi,
Do you actually have any problems? Because Quote
chipset driver is totally crap, absurd and so on?
doesn't explain anything.
Follow >>Posting Guide<< and if possible we'll help you with the problem.
The fact they're dated 2006 doesn't mean anything. As long as thing is working fine, there's no need of updating. Possibly you're one out of xxx people that has some problems with it, but Intel (nor MSI, M$ and so on) couldn't really catch the issue since millions of tests before release is impossible. -
Install on mobile intel 965 express family chipset
can i install windows 10 technical preview on mobile intel 965 express family chipset
Not very likely. It's an old and obsolete chipset and Intel has ended support of it with Windows 7. The latest drivers are almost 6 years ago.

DV6-1230us Intell 4 Series Express Chipset Family Driver Update
Hello,
I am looking for an updated driver I can download for my Intell 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I started having an issue with being able to edit my GoPro videos with GoPro Cinform studio on my laptop. After contacting GoPro and working through several recomendations nothing seemed to fix the issue so they suggested I download the most current driver. However there lies the problem, because the most current driver on the site is from 2009. Is there a more up to date driver I can download and use?
Please help,
DavidHi The intel chipset update manager refuses to do the update due to not accepted by the laptop mfgr (hp).
My original trouble is also with GoPro Studio 2, wherein part of the EDIT function screen, the storyboard panel, is missing and cannot be displayed, even with a pre-canned template.
Here is the output from dxdiag: (regret the verbose output)

I'm having trouble understanding why h/w acceleration is not supported for my graphics card. I have an 'Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family' internal card. Firefox says 'Blocked for your graphics driver version' under troubleshooting information. I'm running Firefox 18 beta under Win8x64. So, here's the trouble. When i was running Windows7x64, h/w acceleration was available only under chrome & that was limited too. I never really complained because i understood my card was about 5 years old. When i moved to Windows8, i was planning on getting a new graphics card, but to my surprise Intel had released new drivers for this version of windows & suddenly i was getting full acceleration under IE & Chrome & Adobe flash is also playing h/w accelerated videos. It would be helpful if someone could tell me why only Firefox seems to have a problem.
Ok.. thanks for your reply & the last sentence on the link you mentioned just answers my question.. It emphatically states about my card. I guess that's it then. So, long Firefox...

Intel GMA 945: xrandr trouble
Hello everyone,
I recently observed that when rotating the screen using xrandr -o, it becomes very dark. I'm on a Thinkpad X60 Tablet with Intel GMA 945 and up to date intel driver and Xorg. I have checked this on a laptop of the same model by a friend also running Arch and she has the same problem. A few months ago, there were no problems with this functionality, although I am unsure when exactly it happened. I don't know which software is to blame either, so I would kindly ask other GMA 945 family users to check if they also have this problem on their machines. Maybe we can bugtrack this together.I'm facing similar problems with an Thinkpad X60 (Intel 945GM):
Switching with xrandr to the external monitor and disabling the notebook screen works fine. Afterwards if I want to switch back from external monitor to the internal screen, the internal screen does not turn on and stays black.
Suspending before switching back is a dirty workaround but not really a solution.

Using Dell Latitude D630 with Intel 965 Express Chipset with Adobe CS6 Photoshop 3D features
Hello,
Here is my configuration:
- I am using Windows 7, 4-bit OS
- Dell Latitude D630, which comes with Intel Mobile 965 Express Chipset and Accelleration Drivers.
- If I press CTRL-ALT-F12, I can see the Intel Graphics Media Acccelerator Driver GUI. There are 3D settings
configuration, which are labelled with OpenGL, and a bunch of values that can flipped on and off. So, I have some
warm fuzzy that OpenGL is enabled on my systme.
- When I look at the details of the driver, it says 9/23/2009, driver version 8.15.10.1930. If I attempt to update
driver, and select search automatically, "Windows determined the driver software for your device is up to date".
So, this gives me some warm fuzzy that I'm on the latest driver.
When I open up PhotoShop CS6, and click on Edit->Preferences->Performance, Detected Graphics processor
is grayed out and I am told that I need to upgrade either my driver or my card. Well, I'm on a laptop so that might
be an issue.
My driver seems to support OpenGL, so is there some configuration thing I can do to get Photoshop to recognize my
video accelerator to make this work? Or am I out of luck with using 3D and accelerated features with this laptop?I did try to go through the Intel driver upgrade process.
Visited http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu (Intel Driver update Utility) with IE.
Detected my graphics drivers and indicated that:
Product Detected
Intel® GM965
Current Driver Installed
8.15.10.1930
Your driver is current.
So, nothing useful there. What I find puzzling is the when I hit CTRL-ALT-F12 and click on 3D settings, there
are plenty of configuraiton choices for OpenGL, with many settings being Off. So, I was hoping that either (a)
there is some combination of choices with these OpenGL options to enable enough of it so that Photoshop CS6 3D features
would work, or (b) maybe registry settings to hack at to "enable" OpenGL or some way of getting Adobe software to try to
rediscover the accelleration support once I change the settings. -
I have downloaded the latest driver from Intel, Ver. 9.1.1.1016 for the Intel 82801BB/GR (ICH7 Family LPC Interface Controller 27B8 and Server 2008 Standard will not recognize the controller or hardware (Code 0028) I have checked on every possible thread discussing this event and no one has seemed to resolve this issue. The Mainboard being used is a Asus P564WS WS Professional LGA775
NOTE: All of the latest MS Server updates are downloaed and installed.Hi,
It seems there is no Windows sever 2008 compatible driver for Asus p5w64 motherboard.
For your information, you can check if hardware is compatible with Windows Server from the following website:

Mobile INTEL CPU supported in MEGA 651 ?
Hello,
will it be possible to insert a Mobile INTEL CPU, i.e. Mobile Intel® Celeron® processors, SL6VH, 1.3V, 1.80 GHz, 400MHz, 478pin PPGA, in the MSI MEGA 651 ?
I t seems the socket and the bus speed is ok.
But will the BIOS support this kind of CPU ?
Thanks for help.
Regards Bernd.I ve got an 1,7 Ghz Mobile Pentium 4-M in my Mega 651, it definitly runs cooler then my older 1,7 Ghz Celeron, wich had 128 kb cach, not like pentium 4M wich has 4 times more cach (512 kb). Without modding the CPU, it runs at 1,5 (1,48) volt. Making the "bent pin trick" it runs on an extremly low volt - 1,08 (1,10) volt. This means lower heat output, then it's rated 30 Watt (wich it has at 1,3 volt, and 1,7 Ghz). The CPU now runs at 1,2 Ghz. At 1,1 volt I can overclock it to 1440 Mhz, but it runs safe, only at 1404 Mhz (at 4x117 mhz fsb). At 1404 Mhz I can even look at High definition video with PowerDVD. I also tried the 133 fsb trick, , isolating the Pin AD6 with nail polish, and it works fine at 1,48 volt and 1596 Mhz, and overclocked even at 1,7 ghz (142 Mhz fsb). But of course in this case the processor generates more heat. At 1200 MHZ it works without turning on the CPU fan, wich turns on only after hevy cpu loads (for example looking on DVD-s) You can browse the internet without the fan would turn on - you can hear only the sound of the hard disk, and the psu fan. I have got only one tiny problem, somtimes when I turn on my PC, after booting, the cpu fan does not stops, I dont know why, and it runs constantly, until I stop with Speedfan. I dont know why is doing this. Not allways, only sometimes, and I cant find out why...

Hi,I have done upgrading Windows 10 from 8.1 Then at Device Manager, try updated the Intel (R) HD Graphics Family - Display Adapters - but later this updated lead to Blue Screen Error - Blue Screen Error - VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR Anyone have solution for this? My laptop specification:HP ENVY TS 14 SleekbookMicroprocessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80GHzSystems Memory: 8GB Micron Technology 1600MHzGraphic Device 1: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M Graphic Device 2: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family RegardsKIM
Remove all video drivers including your NVIDIA. Disconnect from internet.Get the appropriet driver for your Intel HD from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Install it and restart, then try installing the NVIDIA one. If you face any problem, it's with the NVIDIA driver.

What driver is recommended for an intel G33/G31 chipset?
I keep getting the popup that my driver is incompatable. The software was working, compiled and saved a number of 3-500 mb f4v videos but now the software won't display clips either when double clicking on the file and opening clip monitor or when the clip is dragged to the story/timeline. The clips play audio both ways and appear to take editing (trimming the length of the clips. The issue persists for either new projects or when I open .prel files that worked previously. In both cases the window displays whatever was last open in that position in the screen.
The system is xp pro intel core 2 quad 8300, 4gb ram, an ata 500 and a 2T usb drive,
Have already worked twice with chat support but no help. ThanksWhat is your current driver version? The latest driver for that device is 14.37.4.5218 dated Jan. 2010.
Check http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics for any driver updates.
