Hello,
we want to transfer the pictures token with Nokia 5300 to the Powerbook;
• iSync is not made for this, or?
• Bluetooth does not support this phone, when bluetooth will become a standard?
• USB does not show the phone, so no access is possible.
More sharp asked than thought: what should we change, the phone or the PC? Will iPhone have this restrictions I know about future products I will get no answers....
Would it be possible to put the SIm card into a cardreader and dump the pictures? Are they stored on the card? (Nokia seems not to have such a wise forum up to now).

I have Sprint and my phone has two capabilities of getting pictures. Well, three.
1) E-mail them to yourself using your phone's software
2) Upload your photos from your phone to the internet (a personal account on Sprint.com) and then from your computer, you can download
3) If you have a memory card that is accessible, take it out and connect it to a memory card reader.
I have Bluetooth on my phone but it doesn't let me transfer files, like you have found. (Forums about the topic--Sprint, that is--say it works like magic on PCs, but who cares about PCs).

Device Channel Rules for All mobile phones and Tablets?

I am developing master pages for different devices, my target is to develop different master page for Desktop, Mobile phones and Tablet.
Default device channel works for desktops, “$FallbackMobileUserAgent" works for both mobile phones and tablets but I want to design different master
page for all tablets.
Is there any fall back rule that targets all tablets? and any rule that targets mobile phones only?
Update: I found "ipad" and "iphone" inclusion rule works across all apple devices.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to create rule that targets mobile phones or tablets only.
Per my knowledge, channels control which master page is used to show your site on for example iPhone or iPad. Channels are bound to master pages, and channels are bound to user agent string of device in use (phone, tablet or PC).
You need to supply different user agent substrings and order of device channels.

Software for mobile phone and the G4

I have recently obtained a Panansonic GD87 mobile phone and would like to transfer images and data from it to my G4. I contacted Panasonic and they stated that the GD87 is not compatible with Mac.
Does anyone know if there is any software which can enable me to connect the phone to my G4 please?

if its bluetooth enabled, just use bluetooth (you'd need to buy a third-party adaptor), you can google app called Nokia Collector i heard that works with some phones outside nokia (although it fails to work with my nokia 6682 which is really annoying)

Your Subscription does not include calls to corporate landlines or to cellphones in Finland. To call corporate landlines you need to Buy Skype credit and to call cellphones either credit or a specific Skype subscription

Call them up, and let them know you would like to be transferred to the Account Security Team.

Can't call mobile phone and landline

I live in the US and I tried to call my friends in UK. It showed "you are not authorized to call this number". Why? I've enough Skype credit, and I've already added my friend's mobile phone number in my contact list. What's the problem? Can you help me?
BTW, I also tried to test by calling my friend sitting next to me too. The phone showed it's calling but my friend's mobile didn't ring.... what's the problem?

Compatible Mobile Phones and Syncing software for Entourage

Is there any mobile phones out there in Australia that have compatability with OS 10.5 and can sync with Entourage?

Apple's list of iSync-compatible devices is the list as far as I know. It's unclear to me what you mean by "give text messaging via Address Book."
There are a couple things I can suggest to help you find more information:
1. If there's a specific Motorola phone you're considering, post to the iSync Discussion requesting feedback on the specific functions in question from owners of that specific model phone. The iSync Discussion is the best venue for your question.
2. One can often download the user's guide or manual for a phone from the manufacturer's Web site. I did that recently from both Nokia's and Motorola's Web sites when I was comparing phones. You might find the specific information you're looking for in the phone's manual.
3. Contact the phone manufacturer, e.g. e-mail Motorola via their links under "Customer Support" for the UK with your specific questions.

BT and Java - Btl2Cap Connection (Mobile phone and Digital Pen)

First a short Introduction:
For a project I have to stream data from Maxell Penit DP201(4.1) to a mobile device (over a midlet). Data Connection is built up over Bluetooth.
My Questions are: Is btl2cap the right method for connecting digital pen and mobile phone?
If yes, is the btl2cap string correct?
The pens device adress is 00-07-CF-56-05-5D
Does anyone know a sample application like this I want to program?

The reason for the compilation error is that the IDE is not able to find the jar file where bluetooth api is packed. try to put the jar file in lib directory of the project. Some IDE generates class files even though there are some compilation errors in java file.
So it is better to resolve compilation errors before putting it in the device.
The reason why the app freezes in the device is that you have not used a seperate thread to do the inquiry, try to use a thread where the inquiry will be done so that the apps main thread will respond to the user input.

I want to enable the IT0105 subtypes Communication ID i.e. 0020 and MPHN for users to be able modify this data through Portal. While I am aware of a telephone number field being available already under ESS- Address Information, would it be possible to record the users telephone at work and mobile phone at work through any standard options?
Is there a possibility through FPM anywhere? We are looking for a non-customizing option and any possibility to avail this option through Standard or minimum customizing would be really helpful.
Could anyone here please provide your inputs on this case.

LSMW:Hw to Map Mobile Phone and Land Telephone together to IDoc struct

Hi Friends,
We are using CRM 2007 LSMW IDoc method to import Business Partner using the message type "CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M" and basic type "CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M03".
We are mapping Telephone number to "Telephone" field in structure "E102BUS_EI_STRUC_TEL_DATA".
To map the same field for mobile number we are using the R_3_USER field to constant 3 to import the telephone number to mobile phone.
We are not able to import both Telephone and mobile phone numbers together for the BP
Now, my question is, Is there any standard way of mapping both Telephone and mobile phone numbers together and import the data.
For Ex: If Business partner Naveen is having Land Telephone as 444-444-4444 and mobile phone as 555-555-5555. While mapping the source and destination in the LSMW Idoc structure, I need to import both Land Telephone and Mobile Phone together.
Please pass on your valuable suggestions.

Bear in mind that this method will erase all data on the phone - you won't be able to get it back - so be absolutely sure you want to do this before proceeding.
Open the ‘Settings' menu
Tap the ‘General' menu option
Tap the ‘Reset' category
Select ‘Erase all content and settings'
The phone will go through the deletion process which may take some time to complete, as much as 15 minutes. When it finishes the phone will reboot and be at factory default settings.

How can I swap phone numbers between Verizon and T-Mobile phones?

I have Verizon and T-Mobile phones. My wife uses the T-mobile phone and I the Verzion phone. I was given a GSM iPhone 5 that I want to use on the T-mobile account, so I want to move the Verzion phone number to the T-Mobile phone and the T-Mobile number to the Verzion phone. I do not want to have to inform all our friends about the number swap. I also would like to maintain phones on different networks for reliability and connectivity assurance.
I called the Verizon wireless number and the person couldn't help me. The best I can figure out is to give up on Verizon and move the Verizon phone number to a new T-mobile account.
Any ideas?

They are both 4g phones correct? All verizon phones come unlocked. If the verizon phone works with tmobile all you do is take the sim card out and stick it in the phone. however when you do this it is going to erase everything on the phone so make sure you back it up before swaping sim. As far as using the tmobile phone with verizon you would need to ask tmobile if the phone is unlocked
