When I want to enable my hotspot, a massage showed that say you must call Verizon's mobile
I can't call because I'm in yemen
Is their another way to active tethering in my I phone?

You can activate the hotspot if you're mobile data plan allows it. Call verizon to switch to a plan that has a mobile hotspot feature

My Prepaid Moto G, when running Android 4.4.2 would not let me enable mobile hotspot, because it was disable by my provider. On the same phone with the same plan, after upgrading to Android 4.4.4 and with the latest my Verizon app, it shows that I have mobile hotspot under my plan details. No, you can stop using the account, but you cannot delete it.

Go to Settings / Cellular / Cellular Data Network, scroll down and you will see PERSONAL HOTSPOT.
For APN I used 'internet'.
The password came in automatically
All was restored then

Push not working on Verizon iPhone

I just got the iPhone on Verizon and got everything set up yesterday evening. I have a .mac mail account and set that up automatically. My email is set to "Push" and I thought that would mean that I would get the email on my phone shortly after it was received on the server. The only way I get mail is when I open the mail app on the phone. Any ideas as to why this is and what can be done to correct this?

Got verizon iphone two days ago, set up google apps email with exchange (suppose to be push), it worked for about one hour and now the emails do not come in (it can take hours), eve when youcheck manually emails still do not come to the iphone. The emails are in my account on my computer but do not come on verizon iphone. I spoke wiyh a friend who has att iphone and he said that when googke syn started two years ago they had this problem but had it fixed right away, he has been using exchange with gmail for his att iphone for years with push email working perfactly......NEED HELP ASAP (otherwise will have to go back to my blackberry)

hello I bought my iPhone 6 plus from UAE and it is a 64 gb model running on IOS 8.1.2 and whenever I try to use my mobile hotspot option it is not present ANYWHERE I tried to find it in the cellular data option but it's not present over their nor is it on the setting option home screen pls help

I Asked my carrier and they are saying that we don't handle any mobile hotspot options and this might be originated from your mobile device.

My mobile hotspot app stopped working today. When I click on the app the screen flashes for a second then nothing happens. I get the same result when going to settings, wireless network, mobile hotspot. It's like the link to the app is broken or the app is gone. WOW! I just changed the date to May and Boom hotspot works. Is that a joke? VZWsupport wrote me on twitter saying their top engineers have it listed as an open issue still.... I'm not a programer or developer by any means but you would think that if the hotspot works fine with the date changed wouldn't overriding or rewriting that part of the software be fairly easy for a big company like Verizon????

Internet provider is Cincinnati Bell. I can receive E-mail but not send it. iPhone 5 is on Verizon. I set up my E-mail on a relative's AT&T iPhone 5 and it worked fine. I called Verizon, but they think it is Cincinnati Bell problem, but this doesn't seem right to me because my E-mail works fine on an AT&T iPhone 5. Any suggestions?

Your issue is almost certainly the SMTP setting for the email client and your internet provider ,some limit the vehicle for sending over their network

Depending on the country where you live, some features like FaceTime might not be available for your phone.

To Dos not shown on any iPhone pictures

I recently transfered all of my info over to iCal from Entourage in advance of the iPhone launch.
Now that I have changed over, I noticed that iCal and iSync do not transfer to-dos from iCal onto my current Treo 650 and I've been told that I need the Missing Sync software to do what Entourage already supports.
Furthermore, I have noticed that there is no To-dos Icon on any of the published iPhone pictures on Apple's site.
Is Apple not supporting To Dos from iCal currently or in the future? I would assume a to-do list is one of the most important features of a SMART phone.

iSync will, in fact, interchange task data with your Treo. There must be a configuration issue in your specific situation that prevents task data from being transfered.
You do not need the Missing Sync for Palm OS to support tasks, though it does a better job with an advanced [Palm OS 5.2 or later] device than iSync and the iSync Palm Conduit do. You do need it to support memos. In addition, it resolves the many long standing issues with the iSync Palm Conduit, and synchronizes additional content, including AvantGo, iPhoto and iTunes files.
The iPhone will fully support tasks, despite the lack of specific detail available to date.

I just bought a iPhone 4s from Verizon and I got the home sharing but when I go into my family's library nothing is there. It is currently plugged into my families computer. How do I get the movies from here onto my phone? Ive done all the steps apple, and the other websites say to do.

Try signing out of Home Sharing on ALL devices, then sign back in starting with your Macs. Even if some devices work OK, doing this may help.
