Mobile Me aliases not showing in Mail app.

Just recently, I have lost the ability to use my mobile me aliases when using the mail app on my macbook. They have just disappeared from the drop down menu under from in mail. I have used support with mobile me - they seem to indicate it's a problem with my macbook rather than with mobile me. Can anyone help?
Just thought I'd add too - there appear to be a couple of other issues with syncing to mobile me too - address book groups, bookmarks, mail rules etc.
Would love anyone's thoughts/help - thanks in advance.

I see the same issue (aliases not showing up), not in mail on my Macs, but in web mail on Mobile Me itself. I cannot manage existing aliases, I cannot use the aliases to compose new mail on Mobile Me website. I think this might have started at the time I converted my Mobile Me calendar to the new version, but I am not 100% sure, for I do not use web mail that often.
This happens in every browser I checked (Firefox, Safari, Chrome on Mac and Firefox, Chrome, IE8 on Windows), so seems to be a problem on server side, not browser specific or a problem on my computer.
If you have any ideas how to fix this, please please post it here. Thanks a lot!

I just bought Pages and Keynote apps, and i'm trying to open PDF files from Mail app.
The problem is that in "Open in..." , Pages and Keynotes are not in the list of applications!
Someone know why?

You can annotate pdf files with Good Reader - using the paid version anyway. I didn't know there was a free version.

BTW - you can import Word Documents into Pages as well as Pages documents. But you are looking for a solution for pdf files. Check out the apps above and you can search for othes.

Mobile Me Alias not showing up in "From" drop down list in Mac Mail

I have a couple of older .mac/Mobile Me email aliases that used to show up as either [email protected] or [email protected] in Mac Mail in the From drop down list, as recently as yesterday. Today, all I can see for any alias that has both the .mac and @me options due to their age, is the @mac.com version. I want to use the @me version of the alias, but this option no longer shows in the list. Newer Mobile Me aliases only have the @me.com address and they show up fine. One last point. If I use the Mobile Me web mail app, I can see both the @mac.com and the @me.com choices in the From drop down list, so it's working as it should.
Mail isn't working correctly, but since I've not updated the Mail app recently, I suspect Mobile Me isn't sending both versions of the aliases over when the list is refreshed.

I have deleted accounts via preferences Mail,Contacts etc however mailboxes still show in mail app and i am unable to delete them (Delete mailbox is greyed out)!

Ive constantly had problems with mail app since upgrading to mountaion lion. 8/10 time i have to force quit mail but thats not the main problem. I have been trying to delete all my mailboxes however the "Delete Mailbox" option is always greyed out therefore I went to system preferences>Mail,Contacts..., then selected the accounts and clicked " - " and deleted the accounts successfully.
Weird thing is that the mailboxes still show in mail app. I have no accounts showing in preferences as i have deleted everything but when i open mail app, everything is still there.
Anyone have an idea, what is going here? Wish it could be like windows, just uninstall and install the app again -_-

I found this link for a similar problem someone had with a Lotus Notes account. I used it to resolve my issue with a different email account (basically followed the same steps, and then looked for the particular account I needed to delete)... hope it helps!

Notes Synching With Mail.app -- Unwanted

Following my update to Snow Leopard, all of a sudden the Notes from my iPhone (OS 3.1) started showing up in my email. I do not want Notes syncing with Mail.app. How does one turn this "feature" off?
I have searched through the iPhone settings in iTunes, the settings panel in the iPhone, MobileMe prefs, Mail.app prefs, several System prefs and looked through a bunch of threads here. Lots of talk about synching Notes but most of it prior to Snow Leopard and nothing about killing it. (In case the order makes any difference, the phone went to 3.0 then the Mac to SL then the phone to 3.1.)

Info pane at the bottom, uncheck the Sync notes box.

How can I update the "Last Saved" time of individual notes in the Mail app

I have about 30 notes in my Mail app, which I conveniently sync to my iPhone via iTunes.
Problem is, the iPhone only sorts by modification date, whereas I want them sorted alphabetically.
If I knew where the individual notes files were located on the Mac, I could write a simple shell script to sort them and then touch the files to update the modification date.
I look in user/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Notes.mbox, but the individual notes files don't appear accessible.
Does anyone have any idea how I can accomplish what I'm after?

Not showing up on App Store with more than 200k downloads in last three days?

My app Flying Bieber HD has gotten more than 200k downloads since our launch on Saturday, but we are not showing up on App Store ranks at all. We got so many downloads through social media promotions and we got Bieber's entourage to promote it. Are we too new to show up in there? When will we be up there?

Add to Address Book not working in mail.app

On all my computers : MacBook Air and Mac Mini, the Add to Address Book (command + Shift + Y) is not working in Mail.app.
It doesn't add the email and name in the Address Book (now called Contact).
Is this a broken link ?

I've got the same issue in the console. I didn't notice the keyboard shortcut not working but that's happening to me as well.
I've gone gone through and repaired the disk and disk permissions. Still no luck.
Hopefully someone has a fix.

Apps do not show in the app manager, n79

I installed some themes and now my old themes do not show in the app manager, however it shows up in the themes menu... how to solve this, pls help the experts here ...

I appreciate the response. I was confused because precisely I own the full CS6 Production Premium and Encore is there, I was unaware that it was deprecated in CC. Oh well...also I remember Adobe Story in Creative Cloud last year did show up so I was confused as to why it was not showing up now.
So Adobe Story is only cloud based now? hmmm...not sure how I feel about that one.

The QT X v10.1 app installs in your "Applications folder and QT 7 v7.6.6 (whether keyed for "Pro" use or not) is installed in the "Applications/Utilities" folder. It is recommended you keep them in these locations so they will continue to update correctly/automatically.

TS3276 Sent emails not showing in mail?

Hi All. My sent items are not showing in my sent folder after i have sent an email. They are 100% being sent and received but just not showing on mail on my mac. They are showing on my iphone though.

It is possible the versions you have are not compatible with your new Mac. Could you please tell us the following:
1. What OS are you running.
To get this info, click on the Apple on the top left, then select About This Mac. The OS X version is there.
2. What are the versions of the apps that are giving you problems?
To get this info, double click on the hard drive icon and open the Applications folder. Select an application and right click on it. Then select Get Info. The version number is there.
