Mobile Me Gallery - My Gallery

I have several galleries in Mobile Me. When I post one, I do not want the person to be able to go to My Gallery which has ALL my Mobile Me galleries. I want to send a portfolio and do not want the receiver to be able to see all my personal galleries. How do I limit viewing to one gallery only?

  • Adobe web photo gallery - flash gallery 2

    I'm using the adobe web photo gallery, flash gallery 2 and I
    want to slow down the time it takes for each photo to fade in. I'm
    referring to the part that after the image preloader is done and
    when the image is transitioning from white into the full image.
    I've gone through the code but to no avail. Can someone help me
    with this? Thanks!

    Most CS3 Web Photo Gallery Templates are flash free.  They use straight HTML.  Even the ones the change images automatically just use HTML to refresh the page displayed and change the page to the next image.   The Photoshop Web Gallery Template can be edited and customized to better suit your needs.    Adobe has removed Photoshop's Photo Web Galleries from newer version of Photoshop however the Feature can be installed into the newer Photoshop versions.   Adobe added an output module to the Bridge that can create Web Photo Galleries these are mostly Flash based and not easily customized like Photoshop's old Web Photo Gallery templates.
    IMO there is nothing wrong with Flash Web Galleries other then mobile tablets and phone do not have flash support. I have yet to see any HTML 5 web gallery with features that match Flash Galleries.  I'm not a fan of Flash web sites or Flash games.  However there are many Flash web photo galleries that perform well and have great features.  I do not particularly want to display my images on small web phones.  If you want to see them on a tablet get a windows 8 pro tablet they should have flash support. I put large images in Web Photo galleries fitted for 1600x1200 displays and count on flash to resize them for the users browsers window.
    Here is an example of a Flash web photo gallery. It contains 8 or 9 albums some with additional feature enabled.  All generated in Photoshop with a custom script. http://www.mouseprints.net/albums/
    Resize your browser window see the image sizes change use the menu in the bottom of the browsers window to change album and try full screen support.  I only use Flash for Web Photo Galleries.  I'm not selling so I do not need IOS and Android support.

  • Lightroom Mobile Android - Save to Gallery size

    When I select "save to gallery" after editing some photos I've imported from my Android phone storage - 6000x4000 px photos - I have a couple problems. One, I have to select it twice to get anything stored, which is slightly annoying considering that it won't over-write a stored image if you happen to have selected it three times. The second, which is far more annoying and absolutely a deal-breaker, is that it's storing images with a 2048 pixel longest side. That's the 'smart preview' size, isn't it? I don't need the 'smart preview' size, I need the adjustments I've made applied to my actual image, so I can send it off to clients.
    Lightroom dev/sales team - if you would like to finish your product so I don't waste an hour of editing, that would be great. As far as I can tell, my time has just been wasted, and that doesn't make me feel particularly good about what you're selling.
    Alternatively, if I'm wrong and there's an export setting somewhere, great! I'd love to know where it is.

    I'm not to clear on what you are doing and the purpose.. can you explain a little more please??

  • I want to customize the "HTML Gallery" web gallery template in Bridge CS6.

    Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC.  In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6?  Is there info available on how the programming/configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
    Please point me to any sources of info.
    I lke the idea of setting-up a gallery directly from bridge. Any other ideas?
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi JJMack,
    Can you please explain how you use Phoshop Scripts to generate web galleries?  I've created a Photoshop script to bulk add captions/descriptions from a text file to image files, so I have some JS scripting skill.  Are you willing to share your scripts?
    I really like the ability to setup the oder of my gallery in Bridge (images in rows and columns) then directly generate a small 20-40 image gallery, with descriptions, file names, etc.
    I'm also looking at Lightroom 5 to produce small web galleries.  It appears that the post-processor from Turning Point is suggested.
    I only use the Bridge as a metadata Editor and I do not use Lightroom.  I know the Bridge can be scripted where files can be selected in Bridge the passed to Photoshop and Photoshop Scripts like the Image Processor scripts through Bridge talk.  My script does not have Support for the Bridge through Bridge talk.  You may be able to add that support, My Scripts use some of the metadata fields like Photoshop Wed Galleries used them and also has an option to support EXIF information.   When the Web Gallery is created Photoshop starts your web browser on it like Photoshop Web Gallery feature did so you can verify it,   My Script does not Upload the galleries to you web server like the Bridge output module can.  I rather use FTP then tie up Photoshop transferring the gallery over the web.  My Scripts are just hacks of a Script Jeff created for the Simpleviewer Flash Web Gallery,  The script support  that Flash Gallery and their other Flash Galleries and the Flash WS-Slideshow Gallery so mobile devices without Flash support can not view my galleries.  So some nice tablets with High resolution displays are not supported,   The Scripts basically uses canned HTML for the Gallery Viewer and writes the XML file for your Images getting the information for title and description ect from the image files metadata,  The Format of the gallery is also controlled in the XML file written by the script.   I just hack at JavaScript and because I don't use the Bridge for selection and order it did not brother me that Jeff's code did not support or use Bridge talk It simply includes all image from a folder into the gallery it creates. It uses Photoshop Script to create the gallery tree with Thumbnails and web size images with optional visible watermark text stamp,  Web image size is set like fit image my scripts default size is 1600x1200. All my Photoshop stuff is free and downloadable from this link

  • CS4 Web Gallery, Uploaded gallery does not appear

    I was wondering if anyone can help me with the Web Gallery that Bridge CS4 produces.
    I have used Bridge CS4 to create a web gallery. After Bridge has finished creating it the result is a folder called Adobe Web Gallery. Inside that folder is an index.html file and a folder called resources. If I double click on the index.html file the web gallery opens in Safari (Mac). So all is good so far, it tests OK from my hard drive.
    Then I upload it to my ISP server using Fetch, as I did when using the Photoshop CS3 web gallery automate feature, which is upload the index.html file and the resources folder with all of its content into a folder on my isp members area. I then create a link to the index.html file. When I try the link it produces a blank page in Safari called " Adobe Web Gallery", and the rest of the page is blank.
    When I upload the files with Fetch I copy the exact structure as they appeared in the folder on my hard drive. I have tried to upload the gallery directly from Bridge CS4 but Bridge does not seem able to create a connection with my ISP.
    In the meanwhile I am still using Photoshop CS3 to do my web galleries, I 'd just like to get the CS4 version operating as it looks like a better product.
    I am using a Mac Pro Quad duo 2.8 with 4 G Ram.
    regards
    David

    Try it this way:
    Re-name the folder called Adobe Web Gallery to a name which is more appropriate for its contents; then upload the complete AWG Folder, with all of its contents, to your ISP Server.
    Now create a Link (with an appropriate label) on the main index page (Home page) on your site and link that "Link" to the index.html in your new Gallery folder.

  • CS6 Bridge web gallery - HTML Gallery template problem

    In CS6 Bridge, a web gallery created with the HTML Gallery template puts the images in a directory with a path of content\bin\images. This prevents the images from being served from IIS - the bin directory is by default a "Hidden segment". There is no need for the directory hierarchy generated to use the name "bin".
    I know how to work around the issue, but it would be better if the issue was not present in the first place. I tried to report it as a problem on photoshop.com, but was unable to login.
    How do I report this problem to Adobe?

    (Me again, my previous Adobe ID broke). We don't have Dreamweaver, and the users who create and upload web galleries would not be able to use such tools (or a text editor which works on several files at the same time). My workaround is to have a directory dedicated to their web galleries using a web.config file of
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <configuration>
        <system.webServer>
            <security>
                <requestFiltering>
                    <hiddenSegments>
                        <remove segment="bin" />
                    </hiddenSegments>
                </requestFiltering>
            </security>
        </system.webServer>
    </configuration>
    So that the HTML web galleries' "bin" sub-directories are accessible.

  • Updating gallery causes gallery to disappear?!?

    I have a few galleries in iPhoto (7.1.1), if I try to update one of them by either adding a photo or even changing to sort by date (currently set to manual sort), the status icon by the gallery spins for a few seconds and then I find myself viewing my library by events and the gallery I was trying to update is no longer listed in iPhoto. Thankfully I've been able to restore the library using Time Machine. Changes made to other galleries work as they should. Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Steve

    You might try rebuilding the library as follows: launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options.
    Happy Holidays
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Dynamic Content Gallery/ Interactive Gallery.

    I'm looking to make some sort of photogallery that I can put captions on and links.
    where the photos will cycle.
    something like this.
    http://automatonsnowboard.com/
    anyone know if there is some sort of code I can just drop into a HTML snippet?

    Bonjour
    Here is my test page
    Download the dynamic content gallery folder
    Upload this folder anf your images to your server
    Get and copy the URLs of your images, the js files and the CSS file
    This is my widget URL :
    http://iweb.debutersurmac.com/diapo//twenty_one_files/widget1_markup.html
    Right click on the background > view Source
    copy the HTML code ( I regret that my knowledge in JavaScript is so small, otherwise I would have done a javascript array)
    paste in a new file of a texteditor, e.g. texteditor in text mode (not rtf) or TextWrangler
    replace the URL of my files by yours
    You can edit the CSS part (style) of the file
    Copy the new code paste it in a widget HTML snippet, and publish.

  • If I have all the pics I had in the online gallery of mobile me still have in my iPhoto, there is no need for me to download all the folders, right?

    I am very confused about this iCloud thing. Where do I put my pics now for family and friends to see online???

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    If you already have them in iPhoto, then there is no need to download them.
    Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might consider DropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. (not all these alternatives offer all the services previously provided by iDisk)

  • HT201317 How can I allow others to view my photos in iCloud? I really liked the Mobile Me gallery views for my friends.

  • Why is mobile me gallery not on iCloud?

    Curious that icloud has
    Mail, contacts, calander, find my phone and iwork but does not have the mobile me bits like gallery. Given we migrated from mobile me to icloud it seems starange that things are left behind.
    Does anyone know if there are plans for the likes of the gallery to be migrated across ?
    Thanks
    Dav

    hi Ralph.
    Please try the following…
    First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

  • Responsive gallery and DW template

    I've been trying to find a way to add a "responsive image gallery" into my CS6 DW template.
    Actually, I need to create around 100 image galleries - each gallery will have around 70 images.
    I thought I had the answer with "JuiceBox" running the "script" thru CS6 PS and creating the gallery and posting that gallery with no modifications to the page - and it looked fine on my mobile phone (Kyocera Hydro VIBE running Andriod v4.3) - checked the page in the Chrome browser and whatever the un-named browser is that comes on the phone, looked great.
    Page is at: http://www.wakeupgraphics.com/ici_tt/current/500/index.html
    But the page I used/added the gallery onto with the DW template doesn't work right on my mobile phone.
    Page is at: http://www.wakeupgraphics.com/ici_tt/current/500/index2.html
    What's really odd is the DW page with the "JuiceBox" gallery in it looks fine on my desktop, in three different browsers. Reduce the browser window and it responds nicely.
    I tried the "Apply Template" function in DW then tried using the "JuiceBox" steps for adding it to a DW page by putting in the "script" to the page.
    Posted the resulting pages - Results were pretty much the same - doesn't work right on my mobile phone.
    The gallery can not use "Flash" because of the issues with Apple mobile products.
    I would rather not build them manually because of all the time it would take to do each.
    Maybe this isn't the proper place to ask this question so maybe someone can point me to the right Forum.
    Thanks,
    Cliff

    OK - on my mobile phone in the un-named browser, when the page first loads I have a large image that is "skewed" (either orientation) with the "Title" verbiage of the gallery and under it the verbiage "View Gallery" - when you hit/touch the "View Gallery" all images disappear including the "Nav-Menu" - an image from the gallery will show briefly when you touch the screen and then it disappears. You can "scroll" left and another image shows but again just briefly then disappears.
    On my mobile phone in the Chrome browser it works somewhat but you really have to "fiddle" with it. In "Portrait" orientation you can see an image and "scroll" thru by "swipping" across screen but the "Nav_Menu" that shows doesn't respond when touched. However in the "Landscape" orientation the image covers the "Nav-Menu" when you hit/touch the "View Gallery".
    It's very strange cause it all works great in any browser and any viewport (narrow or wide) on my desktop Mac

  • HT4918 Can I move my Gallery to icloud

    I am stumped.... Is it possible to move my "Iphoto" and most of all my "gallery" to icloud?  If so, how?
    Thank you.

    Firstly, your profile states that you are using OS X 10.6.8, whereas iCloud requires OS X 10.7.2 or better. Unless you upgrade your operating system you will not be able to use iCloud.
    Furthermore, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services.
