Mobile me or ftp specification

Question

Would it be much easier to place website specifications above sites
so without specifying all sites were to place to do it in one place and
see by one look all sites that are in that server.
So instead site there would be one layer webserver in which you could
specify website information - also you could place several webservers
as much as you have places.
I spend whole day specifying addresses all 32 pages. Also if you
split site to several webservers, now you have to open to see or remember
were you place it.
Iweb takes nicely care these links now, but you have go through every
site before it accurate
