Mobile me photo restrictions

What restictions are there on putting photos in Mobileme Gallery? I am having trouble putting iphoto albums into mobileme gallery -are threr # of photo or size restrictions??

Well the first one to remember is that MobileMe will cease to exist as of June 30th next.
Can you explain to use what happens when you try to upload? And how you are going about it?

  • Employee Photo Restrictions

    Hi Experts
There are some questions i want to ask about restrictions while uploading employee pictures. FYI, these photos will be accessed through Employee Self Service and/or Digital Personnel File too:
    1. Are there any restrictions on the file type that i can upload? The standard procedure (through archivelink) mentions linking of JPG to HRICOLFOTO. Does this mean that photos in other formats, such as .BMP etc cannot be added? If not, then what is the procedure?
    2. Is there any restriction on the file size and dimension? As I wish to link them to ESS and DPF, is there a standard size required and can it be configured?
    Thanks in advance

  • Saving Lightroom Mobile synced photos to existing library system?

This should be really straightforward but I can't figure it out.
When I import photos from my DSLR, Lightroom saves them into a library structure (Pictures > 2104 > 08 > 07). This works for me, as it keeps everything together in the one place, easy to navigate and back up. Is there a way I can automatically save photos synced from Lightroom Mobile into the same library structure as my DSLR photos? At the moment it seems to keep the photos inside a Lightroom data file (Pictures > Lightroom > Mobile Downloads.lrdata).
    Any suggestions?

    Automatically? No.

  • Mobile Facebook photo upload problem

Everytime I try to post a video or photo via mobile facebook a message pops up saying that the photo cannot be uploaded at this time. It asks if I want to save this photo and try to upload it again later. Help, thanks..

No need to double post. And you posted this without answering my other post in your other thread.

  • LR mobile import photos from your Iphone

If you use LR Mobile to import photos from your phone to your desktop, are the images full res? And what happens if you let your CC subscription lapse - do they stay on your desktop or are they deleted?

  • Lightroom Mobile: can photos be custom sequenced?

Can photos in a collection in Lightroom Mobile be custom sequenced?  Alternatively can the photo sequence a Lightroom 5.4 collection be preserve when it is synched to Lightroom Moble for iPad?
Custom photo sequenced are required for the slide show feature of Lightroom mobile to be of any use.

The choices for image image within Lr mobile are: capature time, modification date and file name. I'm not aware of any way to customise the order/sequence of images within Lr mobile. That being said, renaming files in Lr desktop to reflect your preferred sequencing will be honoured by Lr mobile when file name order is chosen from the collection drop down panel.

  • Mobile WiFi / photo streaming

As I have to use mobile wifi, is that why my photos are not streaming from my iPad?
Any photos I have taken just appear in an album and don't go into 'Photo Stream'
I have checked that Photo streaming is switched on both on my Mac, icloud and my iPad.
The camera is closed on the iPad and battery is fully charged.
I have Mountain Lion on my Mac BookPro and it's a new iPad - cellular & wifi.

Have you gone to the cloud to turn it on on your mac?

  • Edit Mobile Me photo

    Hi gang,
I dragged some photos into iPhoto from one of my Mobile Me galleries. These were photos that a friend uploaded. I can see these photos in my iPhoto collection, but iPhoto won't let me edit them. How do you take a photo uploaded into a Mobile Me gallery and get it into iPhoto in a way that allows it to be edited?
    Cheers!

    Thanks sungyle,
I'll take a moment to clarify the problem. I don't have any difficulties creating MobileMe galleries or uploading photos to them from iPhoto 11. However, if I drag a photo that someone else has uploaded to the MobileMe gallery into my iPhoto collection, I cannot edit the photo. Such photos have a small broadcast symbol in the bottom left corner (kind of like the Airport signal strength meter turned 45 degrees), and in the Info pane, you cannot view any of the metadata. The only thing that appears in the Info panel are the words "This photo was downloaded from your MobileMe gallery".
Interestingly, if you select "Reveal in Finder", the file is present in the iPhoto library. You can open the file in Preview and see all of the metadata, etc. It seems like iPhoto deliberately treats these photos differently, with no ability to see the metadata or edit the file.
    Cheers!

  • Can Lightroom Mobile Add Photo to Hard Drive Publish Service

    Hi,
I am considering getting an iPad for Lightroom mobile.  I am wondering if I will be able to sync my catalog to the iPad and then use it to sort through my pictures and add them to different publishing services I have setup on my desktop?  This way when I start lightroom on my desktop the pictures will show up as ready to be published.
    Thanks
    Chad

You can create as many separate hard-drive publishing services as you want. Right-click on the Hard Drive Publish Service header and select "Create Another Publish Service via Hard Drive...".
But I agree about the frustration of being unable to change the destination folder....so I've begun to migrate my hard drive publish services to use Jeffrey Friedl's Collection Publisher plug-in. Works like the native Hard Drive service but with loads more options....and you can change the destination folder.

  • [Flex Mobile] take photo without lauching Camera application.

    Hi there.
Is it possible to take photo without lauching Camera app?
Following source code must select PhotoApp when I click the button.  I wanna take a photo only using my app.
I've searched enough in Google. Please give me a hint.
    Thanks in advanced.

If you can have a video stream playing in your app, you should be able to select one of the frames of the video stream and save it as a jpg. I think it will be a bitmap object. This way you do not actually invoke the system camera.

  • Mobile me photo zip corrupt

I downloaded my photos from the MobileMe gallery during the transition. They were downloaded as zip files. I found today that I am getting an error message saying the file is corrupt. Any suggestions? I am running 10.7.4.

I guess I'm screwed. I am really upset about this. A couple of the photos were of my late 80 year old father in one of the few times he enjoyed himself, shortly before he died of vascular dementia last year. He was almost crippled and loved the time spent on the tiller of my sailing boat.
If those photos could be recovered I would be very grateful. I've searched whatever few backups I have in the way of old hard drives and memory cards, but cannot find anything.

  • Flex Mobile How To Restrict Devices app can install on (ANDROID)

I am creating an Android app and wish for my app not to be able to install on devices with a screen resolution of less than 320 * 480. Is there a setting anywhere i.e. -app.xml or otherwise where I can achieve this? I know with the pure Android SDK you are able to set which devices your app will run on.
    Thanks

You will need to use the supports-screens Android manifest tag.  Check out this post for more info:

  • HT5132 The pop up appears when I open aperture, I do not have a mobil me account with photos and the sync never seems to start and the dialogue box will not go away. How do I get rid of it?

When I open aperture a pop up appears that tells me that my mobil me photos will be moved. When I click OK, nothing happens and I have left it for hours. I can not get rid of the pop up and I can not get out of aperture. I have to force the computer to shut down. Any thoughts?

Quit Aperture - force quit if necessary (or try this:
If Aperture is unresponsive, how to avoid force quitting?
Launch Aperture again. When the panel appears, press the "Learn more" button, not o.k.
Then use the "File > Web Accounts > Manage Web Accounts" menu entry from Aperture's main menu bar and remove "MobileMe" from the list of accounts in the accounts pane by pressing "-".
If the above does not work, disconnect the internet (Wi-fi, Ethernet, whatever you have), before you launch Aperture again. Now the panel should no longer appear.
Also sign out of MobileMe in the System Preferences Mobile Me tab, to stop the panel to appear again.
    Good luck

  • Mobile me alternative for photo publishing

I'm coming up on my renewal for my mobile me account. I don't think I'll be renewing this account for the following reasons:
1.) The only application I really used was the mobile me photo publishing through iPhoto.
2.) Didn't really use the email or any other service provided.
I was wondering if there any alternatives as far as photo publishing is concerned. I noticed that iPhoto had options for flickr and facebook. I really don't want to use facebook to publish photo albums though.
Are there any alternatives that are good out there or should I shell out another $99 for mobile me. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much any photo site will let you publish albums--many of them have plug-ins for iPhoto even if iPhoto doesn't have built-in support.
    Flickr, KodakGallery, Shutterfly, Snapfish, etc
I recently came across Jablum, also, which offers both a site and a program to create slideshows for other sites.
    http://jalbum.net/
I just published a few to Facebook (using the Facebook plug-in, not the built-in sync feature) and they are optimized a bit crudely, it seems to me--quality not ideal.
But I will say--I have my own website, so I use iPhoto to iWeb for photo pages--and they are not nearly as nice-looking as the MobileMe galleries that I have seen. I tried the iPhoto to RapidWeaver option and am not very happy with that either.
Also, I think Amazon sells MM cheaper than Apple, like $79? I think you can even finagle that into becoming the renewal, google should turn up tips.

  • How do i download my photo gallery to i cloud ?

How do I download my mobile me photo gallery to i cloud ?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might consider DropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. (not all these alternatives offer all the services previously provided by iDisk)
