Mobile Menu Anchors

Hello,
I'm in the process of re-designing my website and a mobile version for the first time too but i'm having trouble with the mobile menu.
The buttons are linked to anchors on the page and i'm using a scroll effect on the menu to make it scroll with the page then stop when it gets to the top.
When you click on one of the buttons, it jumps to the anchor like it should, but the menu returns to its starting location regardless of where it was on when it was pressed (see screenshots).
The only mobile device I have tested it on is an iPhone 5. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
The mobile site is online here: www.ianmcneil.net/preview/phone

Hello,
I tried to create the same thing and its working fine.
Please take a look at the attached file and see if you are missing anything.
http://adobe.ly/1AC9eUI
In case settings are same it could be an issue due to any object placed in the page such as embedded codes, widgets etc.
Also try to recreate the navigation and that may fix the issue.
if Still no success then i would request you to share the muse file with me so that  can observe something.
Regards
Vivek

  • How to set up slider mobile menu widget on master and pages of mobile website in Muse

Adobe Muse Slider Mobile Menu Widget by MuseThemes
I am new to mobile website design and Muse, I love this widget, but I am not sure how to set it up on multiple pages.
Do I put it on the master? Content covers it when it is on master, so I could use some help.
Thanks so much, anyone know of tutorials or can anyone give me a game plan to set up. thanks so very much!

Thanks, my issue was that the content was in front of the navigation menu see screen shot (taken in preview in Muse)

  • AP-manager ip for mobility and anchor?

I'm setting up wlan solution for a client. It involves mobility group, anchor and without LAG. Anchors are placed in DMZ. Anchors management interfaces are blocked from sending any packet to corporate network wlc.
Is it possible to configure mobility group using AP-manager IP. If WLCs management interfaces are not connected & only used for management purpose(bloody corporate policy), is it possible to setup wlan using AP-manager ip addresses. Will it have any impact in wlan?
mobility group member add ----> can we specify ap-manager ip here?
mobility group anchor wlan add  ---> anchor ap-manager ip here?

    Ramesh,
If you're talking about a 4400 based controller as your Anchor, then yes, you effectively have an AP-Manager interface taking an IP address.    I've never tried this with respect to an anchor, but it is feasible to have your AP-MGR in a different vlan than your Management interface.  In theory, if you absolutely had no IP address to spare, maybe you could black hole the AP-MGR in a fictitious vlan?    I personally wouldn't do it though, as I'm not sure what the behavior would be if your AP-MGR was never able to talk to its gateway...
If you're talking about the 5500 based controller (and any future controller that supports being an anchor), you should not have to have an AP-MGR. In fact, the only time you'd have an AP-MGR interface is if you were doing what I said above regarding an AP-MGR in a different vlan.
    Make sense?

  • Mobile menu - sliding page reveals menu (like Gmail app) -- how to?

    Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to make a menu that is similar to the way the Gmail iPhone and Android app works.  It is very simple: there is the typical mobile menu icon at the top.  When that icon is tapped, the current page slides right about 75% of the way, revealing a menu below.  The menu scrolls/swipes up and down to show more choices than one screen can display.  When a menu choice is tapped, the page that slid away to the right slides back into position displaying the newly selected page.  There are no sub-menus, just one long list of menu items.
I am attaching an image to show this.
I sure would be grateful for help with how to do this.  I have searched and viewed some tutorials, but can't quite get it.  I would be happy to buy a widget that does this.
    Thank you.

    Hi Sanjit,
Thank you for your responses to both of my posts.  I am thoroughly enjoying learning Muse, and all of these links and web pages are great resources.

  • Muse accordion vertical mobile menu issues

    Adobe
I have two issues with your accordion vertical mobile menu.
    1. The menu does not line up on the right-hand side in the accordion widget when it’s in preview mode. The x and y in design mode both line up correctly with the menu inside the accordion so I know that this is not the issue. I have no outlines placed on any elements of the accordion menu. Is this a glitch? Is there a fix? I am running most current version of Muse.
    2. From my understanding I believe that the menu should be placed inside the widget (on master page) then when the menu is previewed the accordion should be closed and when it’s opened the objects that are below the menu should all move down. I have yet to accomplish any of this. Is this also a glitch or am I missing something?

Thank you for providing your file to the support team.
#1 is related to the fact the menu widget doesn't support 100% width, but in this case that isn't really necessary since mobile browsers scale to fit the width of the widest content.
So, the workaround in this case is to make the accordion not exactly fit in width. Make it one pixel wider and also make the menu inside the panel one pixel wider. Since this will make the accordion not exactly match the browser area width it won't be treated as 100% width. Instead the browser will scale it, and the menu within it, to fit the width of the device.
#2 is enabled by turning off the "Overlap Items Below" option in the accordion widget options UI.

  • Replace WLC Mobility Group Anchor

We have 2 5508 and 1 4402 WLCs and all belong to the same mobility group. The 4402 does not have any access points and does nothing more than serve as a mobility anchor for our public wireless SSID. We are planning to replace the 4402 with a new 2504 unit which will have the same configuration including IP as the 4402. Is there anything I need to do with the mobility groups when we remove the 4402?
    Thanks for any help.
    Jeff

you'll need to add the MAC of the 2504 to the mobility group, and remove the entry for the 4402.

  • Hello! A.) body text size in different sections B.) responsive mobile menu problem - tablet & mobile

Hey! I have 2 small questions for THIS
    Question A - TABLETS
When I define the body text, it seems to only affect the first header. If you pull this up on a tablet, you will see on the synopsis page--the contained background is "bloating", I believe, to fit the text. I just need to get the text smaller; only the word "Synopsis" seems to be affected by the body font size definition.
    Question B - MOBILE
Nancy O. SO generously helped me with a responsive menu for mobile, but it does not fit on top of the screen. Can anyone quickly see where I would resize it to fit the screens?
    Thanks everyone very much

Mine is tested & works on Android Smartphone, iPad Aire and Desktops.  See screenshots.
You have not added jQuery or the MeanMenu script & function code to your documents.  That's why your menu doesn't respond to mobile devices.

  • ITS MOBILE MENU!

Hello I need to solve a problem with ITS mobile. I'm creating an application and I need to program a MENU for this application.
When I try to make it "with/by" transactions, it doesnt work
When I try to make it by, it doesn't work and when I put in a direct link to service, it opens a new window, which a PDA can't display.
    Thank for your help

    HI TIbor,
How you resolve the problem of Dynamic menu.
I am having the same problem.
I created a custom menu ZXXX and assigned in Logistic (Customization). Now in LM00 transaction my menu ZXXX is coming. I can also see the same in ITS both in mobile & exploror, but it is not going further in next screen of my menu in ITS mobile device not even in internet exploror of my machine.
Please tell me how you resolve this problem.
    Regards,
    Nik

  • Mobile menu -- Accordion Panel or Composition -- which is recommended?

    Hi,
I have been experimenting with mobile menus and have come up with good solutions using two different methods: 1) Accordion Panel widget; 2) Composition blank widget.  Both use a trigger and a content container with a vertical menu.  Both work well.
Question for the experts here: Is either of the two menu techniques recommended, and why?  They work and feel a little differently, but I am more concerned with their compatibility on different mobile devices and browsers.
Thanks for any help with this.
    John

This may depend on the site design as what contents and page objects are used , both should work as expected. Both widgets are compatible across all browsers and devices.
So you can go with both options, my suggestion would be create 2 pages with separate menu and then check and finalize.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Collapse and expand mobile menu?

Can someone please tell me how to make a close all and expand menu for mobile sites in Muse. I did find some information about this on the web, but I cannot find the "expand and collapse"  tick box in CC 2014 (latest version). I have spent ages trying to find this and could do with help asap.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
In order to create a Close all and expand Menu for your mobile site, I would suggest you to use the Accordian widget available in Muse. You can make the 'label' of the accordian as the link to your top level pages and you can add links to the child pages under the content area inside each label. This would help you create the kind of effect that you want.  Also, dont forget to check the box which says "can Close all" in the options of the accordian widget.
    Hope this helps

  • Jump Menu/Anchor Point

    Hello,
Is there a way I can add an anchor point like you can on a webpage into an Adobe document? I'm not sure if anchor point is the right word, jump menu maybe? For example  if they click on A it will jump to the A section at the top of the page. I am using Adobe Creative Suite 5.
    Thank you.

It can easily be done with the link tool.
    Alternately, you can use bookmarks.
    Both require Acrobat.

  • WLC Mobility Auto-Anchor Code Matrix

    Hi guys,
I am involved with a project where I will be upgrading WiSM1s with WiSM2s and moving to the 7.2 code to support the funky new 3600 APs
The question I have is that there are some other foreign controllers of differing flavours 5508/4402 and maybe others that are tunnelled back to the WiSM1s and using these as an auto-anchor - So what are the compatibility options I have here for code support please?
I have been told there is a compatibility matrix but all I can find is the software compatibility matrix, but this does not have anchor specific code details. Maybe this means it dosen't matter but I know it had certain limitations in the past and is now opened up to differing code support since 5.2 (I think), but just not sure now whether things may change again given the next generation 7.2 code now being out.
    Thanks
    Rocky

    Hi Scott,
Thanks for that, I was hoping someone had already set it up!
I was looking at that matrix earlier but it didn't look right to me as according to the table it is supported back to 4.2? I am positive I read this feature only kicked in at 5.2.
    Thanks again
    Rocky
