Mobile phone video

I am currently looking for a good video converter to convert to mobile phone videos.  I am apprehensive about buying one from the app store as I cannot get a refund if it doesn't work.  any ideas would be appreciated-Thanks!!!

nearly correct.  i have a regular cell phone with video capabilities.  it plays mp4 videos but in the mobile phone formatting.  the videos come from everywhere: little videos from online, movies, shows, etc.  i want to be able to convert multiple videos at one time.   being able to change details along the way would be helpful too.
i hope this helps.

If you find anything out please share.  I have flash projects (SWF) files created in Captivate 5 that play fine in Flash and Dreamweaver, but freeze up on the web in safari, firefox, opera and chrome.  Even files that used to play just fine.  This upgrade has been a nightmare - I have spent hours troubleshooting to no avail.  It does not seem to be a problem for windows users - only macs.

  • Plugins for videos to be sent to mobile phones

can anybody help me with this??
I need to know how I can make a video on FCP and send it to mobile phones?? What specifications should I have in order to be able to send it to mobile phones and view it clearly??
    iMAC   Mac OS X (10.4.9)
    iMAC   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Edit the video in FCP, then export it to compressor 2. There are 6 different presets you can choose from there in a submenu named "Mobile Devices". You'll need to know which one (or all of them) that the system you need to deliver to uses...

    Hello
Is it necessary to use Bluetooth connection?
For my mobile phone I bought an external card reader. So I can copy the files from mobile phone to computer and backwards.
It costs maybe 10 Euro and therefore no additional driver is necessary! :)

There is no such plugin for any Android browser. I doubt Microsoft will ever make one. The best chance you have is if the site provides a direct link to the file and you download it. You then might be able to play the file with one of the media players on the phone.

  • Material to and from Mobile Phones

How would I encode material to be shown on a mobile phone and can video material shot on a mobile be brought to FCP.
Its a question asked of me by a friend and I've got an older style mobile so I can't do tests - hence my question.
    Thanks,

Use Compression Master (Popwire). It has many presets for mobile phones.

  • Problem in mobile phone camera Image retrieval using J2ME ...

    Hi
I am doing video surveillance application with mobile phone ...
but i am not able to get the images faster from my mobile phone ..
    I need atleast 2 photos /frames per second using J2ME ...
wen i tried it , it is very slow and i am not able to get 2 frames per second ...
    can somebody help me ?

That's quite a bunch of stuff you want to do there.
Just a short hint for the image processing part here: You can ask any BufferedImage for it's raster (using getRaster()), and you can use the raster's getData() method to access the DataBuffer (the array storing the pixel values). It should be quite easy to split the DataBuffer into 9 tiles which you can then store as blobs. You can also use the DataBuffer to check for color values, or, if you don't want the trouble, you can always use the raster's getRBG(...) method - beware though, it's a lot slower for processing large quantities of pixels. Just another hint: you will have to cast the DataBuffer to it's real type if you want to access the pixel values, for example to DataBufferByte for most RGB images. You can use the DataBuffer's getType() method to determine which kind of buffer the image is using.

  • Ichat AV Ver 3.31  Mobile Phone Usage /costs

    Hi,
I have used ichat many times without problems, however I'm soon traveling
abroad and want to ichat with my daughter at home, having recently purchased a powerbook G4 and a nokia G3 mobile phone(which is linked via blue tooth with the p book)I'm wondering want the mobile phone charges are going to be?
As I understand it I'm charged on the amount of data that passes through the phone and not for the time that I'm connected,my question is with a max speed of 350kps on the phone how much data in mb would pass through the phone
over a minute while using ichat( in the video mode) ,once I have this information I can work out the call costs...
    Thanks

Thank you for the answers, if i'm doing the sums right based on 256kbps (the max i'm likely to get from a G3 phone) through put of data this equals to about
1.8 megabytes a minute ? is this correct as I need to convert from Kbps to megabytes as I think the mobile phone charges are from £1-50 to £3-50 per megabyte.
I will try to find a hot spot but if not It would be nice to know the costs...
    cheers

  • Lifestreaming to my iweb page from a mobile phone

Wondering if I can use my Nokia N95 to post directly to my iWeb page. I'd like to be able to add photos, short text entries, video, etc. Can i do that directly from a mobile phone, or only via iWeb?
Ideally, I'd like it to be as easy as posting photos to my Flickr account from my phone.
Thanks for any suggestions and tips.

After you open Firefox, go to "Preferences" and there's an option called Start Page, click on "Custom Page". From there, you can set your home page there.
FYI, You can download the FF4 now, unless you want to stay with the beta version.

  • Wireless Security Camera for mobile phone

    hi everyone,
i would like to know can we provide wireless security camera for mobile phones. is there any service providers for that.
    please clarify me.
    thanks in advance

I asked because we do not want to recommend any cams that may confuse you even more.  The more details we have on why you are confused the better.
Check out this website which may offer some suggestions:  www.ralphjohns.co.uk/EZJim/EZJimpage1.html.  EZJim's site mostly deals w/iSight and various other video methods.  He actually hangs out in the iSight forums which is where you can possibly post to him.  He's there quite regularly.  He's the most likely person here who can perhaps offer you many suggestions.
Over in the QuickTime forums there is QuickTimeKirk, another video expert.
    Good luck!
