  • Is I-Tunes having protocol issues that prevent installation on Windows Vista 64 bit system?

Is iTunes having protocol issues that prevent communication issues between Windows Vista and the iTunes Store?   How can I talk to a warm body at Apple that knows something about this issue?  Suggestions?

    Thank you Bob.
Just to clarify - in terms of backing up one set of these, would that just be so I had it on disk and didn't need to re-download from Adobe if the installation got corrupted somehow?  Or do I need a backup for some other reason?
    Thanks

  • Iweb and I think mobile me issues

    Greetings,
Several problems seems to plague my website in both Iweb, and on the live site.
    In Iweb:
    Regularly the program crashes
If I select the Albums page on the left pane it displays links of my welcome page and empty album frames.
If I go to one of the specific page (beyond the 3rd one) from the Album, I get (same as above) a page with a list of links from my welcome page and empty picture frames.
One of the pages had GPS routes upload-able from Google Earth, that page is also gone (same as above)
    On the live published site:
All the albums previously publish do not appear anymore
The page with GPS route also gone
The only glimmer of hope that I have re. this problem is that when I log in to Mobile Me, idisk\Web\Sites\Site, the actual site appears to be intact including media files and all. This is why I believe that the Iweb problem is related to some kind of Mobile Me issue.
Suggestions would be appreciated, as I have spent countless hours building the website,
    Thank you,

  • [SOLVED] Xorg launch fails due to synaptics protocol issue

    Hey gang!
So this is an issue which first appeared after a recent pacman -Syu. I had gone too long without one and so many many packages were upgraded.
I first tried rolling back the kernel but when that didn't help I resolved to get it working with the newest packages. I am on a macbook pro. I tried installing the xf86-input-mtrack-git package from the AUR but this just caused xorg errors in addition to the others. I am using the fx86-input-synaptics package from the standard repos which, as I said, worked for me in the past.
Here are some files I think are relevent:

I realize that there are a few lines commented out in xorg.conf referring to the synaptics protocol which would seem relevant to this issue. I have tried uncommenting each of them separately and together but still the problem continues.
I have searched  the wiki and forums and came up empty handed. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Well found all the modules but now I get errors which seem to be because I have KMS disabled. I guess nouveau needs KMS but I seem to remember having it on prevented me from being able to boot up into linux on this macbook in the past.... Here is the error

  • HP Officejet 6500 (E709n) wireless mobile printing issues using Wi-Fi...

I have an HP Officejet 6500 (E709n series) that I can no longer print from my Android based device. I have the latest drivers installed on my Win-7 64 bit Premium edition and have flashed the most current firmware available on HP's site. There was a time not long ago where I downloaded and installed an HP app from the Android Market which allowed my mobile device to print to my wi-fi enabled and configured HP 6500. My phone crashed so I had to re-download and install apps. It seems HP ePrint Home&Biz app is the only option here and from what I've read, this app is not compatible with hP ePrint. Am I missing something or is this completely lame to discontinue support for a printer hardly a year old?
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hello JayyTeee,
I do apologize for the issue you are having.
It sounds as though you are printing wirelessly from your Android phone on the same network as the printer.
This is actually different from ePrint.
The Home & Biz app is designed primarily to print on the same wireless network.
If the app is not finding the printer, I would make sure the phone and printer are on the same network.
If they are on the same network, then I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the Home & Biz app from the Android Market.

  • BT Mobile Connection Issue

I have a PAYG BT Mobile Dongle (Huawei E180) which I've been using for a couple of years now without issue.  I have just upgraded to the latest version of the Connection Manager software, and I can no longer connect to the internet.  I get the "Click to Connect" message for the BT Mobile (SIM) option and I have around 50% signal strength on 3G which has been okay in the past.  It appears to connect okay, and says that it has connected with 7 Mbs, but the browser reports that it cannot connect to any web page due to a DNS error.
I've tried this on two laptops now (one running XP and IE8, the other Win 7 and Chrome), both with the same error.  I have plenty of credit on my account.
I'm sure it will be a simple configuration issue - anyone have any advice?
    Thanks, Mark.

Yes, as long as you're using yours not a neighbours
Something odd there. You may want to contact the mods ... http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951
One more thing you could try is a direct PPPOE connection from your PC to the modem, instead of the homehub.
Use userid [email protected] and password BT.
This will rule out the Homehub as a problem.

  • Droid Razr 4G Mobile Hotspot Issues with PS3

I am hoping someone else had this issue and has been able to resolve.  I just got a Droid Razr this week, and I have the 4G mobile hotspot feature.  I am trying to replace my slow DSL line at home, and most things in my house have tested fine (Internet access, etc.).  However, my PS3 seems to have some issues, particularly with online gaming and testing the network connection.  The game I am testing now is COD MW3.  I thought maybe something like IP ports were blocked on the phone or 4G network, but searching online seems to indicate that isn't an issue.  If I reconnect my PS3 back to the DSL, online gaming and network tests work just fine.  Move it back to 4G and the game won't connect and the network tests don't complete.
I don't see any features on the phone that would indicate that you can modify any firewall like settings.  Anyone else experience similar issues?  Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue with my Samsung 4g hotspot as well.  I can get onto the PSN, download game updates just fine, but when I'm in a MW3 lobby, it just sits there and eventually times out and a XMB message displays that i've been disconnect from the wireless access point.  Anyone have any ideas?

  • SOAP Adapter And Protocol issue

Why and when we use SOAP adapter ? Does Xi uses processed XML messages using SOAP protocol ? I am new to Xi and confused over the issue. Can anyone please explain this to me. Thanks for your time.

    HI KM
When you want to Send Data to XI from a Webservice and vice versa, your SOAP adapter is used.

SOAP adapters are used for communicating with the WEB SERVICE. Web service is a software system designed to support interoperable Machine-to-Machine interaction over a network. Web services are frequently just Web APIs that can be accessed over a network, such as the Internet, and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services. In common usage Web Service refers to clients and servers that communicate using XML messages that follow the SOAP standard. So we communicate the WEB SERVICE using the SOAP adapters.

  • Mobile Hotspot Issue after 10.1 Update

Hello, just wondering if there is a know issue with using mobile Hotspot after update z10 to 10.1. After this update was installed Mobile Hotspot will turn on but past network that I had created is not there anymore, also I cannot configure, when I press configure nothing happens, and then Mobile Hotspot turns itself off.

    Hello dnivek,
    Welcome to the forums.
I would suggest you contact your mobile service provider to ensure you are on the correct data plan to allow you to use the Mobile Hotspot feature. If they confirm you are on the correct plan and have the correct APN settings then please have them escalate your issue to BlackBerry Technical support for investigation.

  • CAD Mobile Agent Issue

The issue I am having is that when I log into CAD as a Mobile Agent when I use Nailed Mode, I receive the initial call to my mobile device and I answer or attempt to answer the call but at 10 - 15 seconds it drops and I get logged out of CAD.  If I log in Call By Call mode I can log and stay logged in fine, but when a call is routed to my mobile device the same thing happens, it rings, I answer the call or at least believe I answered the call and then it disconnects after the same 10 seconds or so.  The JTAPI logs show RESOURCE_NOT_AVAILABLE and the CUCM logs show a Disconnect Code of 47.  I've had a TAC case open for a while and not getting anywhere other than the UCCE team has transferred it to the CUCM team now.  Has anyone else had problems setting up Mobile Agent in a UCCE 8.x and CUCM 8.x environment?  I've set it up in previous versions many times without problems and the first time I am trying it on 8.x I'm having issues.  Wondering if anyone else has had problems or have any ideas to check.  I've checked nearly everything, codec, MTP resources, etc that I can think of.

I ended up restarting PG and CTI Manager on CUCM and it works now.

  • Https protocol issue

I have been getting the following error while trying to call a web service on the
server with https protocol from a client class.
[java] java.io.IOException: unable to find resource:https://localhost:7002/basic_javaclass/LoginUser?WSDL
    [java] at weblogic.webservice.tools.wsdlp.DefinitionFactory.getWsdlURL(
    DefinitionFactory.java:61)
I could view all the web service methods and links to WSDL and client jar on a
browser with the url, https://localhost:7002/basic_javaclass/LoginUser. I could
even open WSDL file and download client jar file from the browser. I tried without
success with the client jar file that was created using Weblogic ant task and
then with the one, downloaded from the browser. There were no problems, when I
    used http protocol.
    Thanks in advance,

I double checked with our operation team.
It seems that we started having this issue when our clients were updated on java 1.6.31.
The applet worked correctly before that version.
So I'm not sure if only build the applet using the new build will solve the problem.
Do you have any other suggestions?
    Thank you

  • WRT400N mobile phone issues

hello!  I seem to have an odd issue with my router....Setup went through fine, I have it broadcasting a G and N network.  The N network is awesome, the G is also running smoothly with all devices...EXCEPT mobile phones.  My computers and Xbox run great off the wireless G...anytime a mobile phone connects it give it service for like 30 sec- 2 minutes maybe then drops it.  The phone stays connected but says no internet service.  You have to disable wifi on the device and reconnect it again to get another 30 sec of service before it repeats.  I thought it was my device...but anyone with a mobile phone experiences the same.  Is there some setting I can play with to remedy this?
BTW it does have the latest firmware.  Thanks for any input!!

This "maybe" a bug. Can you try it using iphone?
Try refalshing the firmware and then the 30-30-30 reset rule.

  • Web Gallery / Mobile Me - issues with IE 6?

    Hi,
I have uploaded my latest set of photos on the web gallery. But when I want to see the web gallery with IE6, it says - "We recommend a newer browser" and it lists the three browsers - IE7, FF 1.5 or higher and safari 3.0 or higher. There is a button that says Use current browser and a checkbox that says "do not warn me again". Even if I click the checkbox, the browser does not load the gallery page.
Do we really need IE7 now to view gallery? I do have FF and that seems to work fine, but my folks are still very IE savvy.
Is this a bug or is this expected? At least the browser should continue loading the page, even after you check the "Don't warn me again" checkbox and click on the "Use current browser" button.
    Anyone else seeing this issue?
    Thanks,
    Abhi

I haven't seen much on Mobile me yet - here is the apple page for mobile me on a PC - http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/pc.html - and in the upper right hand side there is a link to the tutorials - you might get more information there
We recommend a newer browser" and it lists the three browsers - IE7, FF 1.5 or higher and safari 3.0 or higher.
This sounds like a design not a bug

  • Windows 8.1 "PlayTo" protocol issues with Satellite Z930-12Q

    Hi,
I've bought my Toshiba Satellite Z930 more than a year ago. I quickly realise than I didn't had much network possibilities than before with older windows such as the possibility to create a wifi network. Never more...
And recently I had an update on my internet Box allowing me to use the "Play To" system of windows. GREAT ! I tried to use it but it didn't work. I first thought that it was my box that was malfunctioning but with another PC it works well !!
So I'm starting to wonder if their is a network issue on my computer ? Or maybe, is the windows installed version is a light one ?
Does anyone knows anything about it ?

    >So why am I the only one in France that can't use the Windows "PlayTo" protocol on my internet access box (freebox) connected to my TV?
The Play To streaming function within Windows 8 has been designed and added by Microsoft.
I think you should refer this question to the Microsoft people and additionally to the Freebox support since this question isnt related to the notebook.
From my knowledge the Play To protocol in Windows 8 is designed to work with _Windows certified_ Play To devices. In case your freebox isnt certified by Microsoft, the Play to will not work.
I recommend you checking the Microsoft Blog artickle about enabling [great Play To experiences from your Windows 8 apps (and websites!)|http://blogs.msdn.com/b/windowsappdev/archive/2012/11/16/enabling-great-play-to-experiences-from-your-windows-8-apps-and-websites.aspx]
