Mobile Quiz System

Dear All,
I'm new in J2me, Want to make MQS (Mobile Quiz System) for My University work with different GUI (JSF for who access from PC Browser, Mobile GUI regardless who access from PDA or MIDI),
So, For Mobile access what's technology I should use ( WML, XHTML .....etc )
and if they are access using wap or Internally through WLAN in University building.

I cover JSF but I don't work before with mobile technology but I heard xhtml it's new than wml and my ask should I read something in j2me.

I was wondering, when you open the mobile me system pref, it asked for your "member name." Does it matter if you add the @mac dot com or @me dot com? Also, should you leave that off?

the informatino is taken in the pane either way. Wasn't sure it it mattered (since there was no example).

You just totally don't have a clue about it do you? What makes you want to make it?
Start with looking at the Languages that are available for the environment you are choosing to develop: don't know the environment yet--well you have to make some decisions, so start making them--get out there and compare what languages are available on which phones.
Once you have that, then get a hold of the documentation for the language--yes, actually look at the API. You may even have to look at some of the phone technical specifications to get some of the answers that you want.
Well, does this sound like too much work? Then you know, it's more effort than we want to help you with too.
When and if you get to the point where you have some specific questions, instead of "I've not a clue get me up to speed." type, then I am sure there are many people on here that will be very willing to help you out.

Question about using iPod with a Mobile Mulitmedia system

Hi All,
I bought my wife a 16g 4th genration iPod Nano to use with her Valor Mobile Multimedia system in her car. When she plugs the iPod in the system via the iPod cable, all it says is "connecting". It seems to recognize the iPod but doesn't fully connect with it to play the music. I've tried my daughter's older generation Nano and it works fine as does my 60g video iPod.
I've tried to contact Valor but their website isn't very intuitive. I've left a message with their tech support as well as emailed them, No repsonses yet.
I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks all.

The tv connects to your tv via HDMI or component.
The tv plays video either from it's hard drive which it gets by syncing it from the contents of your itunes library on your PC or by streaming it directly (as it plays it) from the itunes library on your PC.
Data from itunes can be sent to the tv either by ethernet or wifi.

SAP Mobile App System Monitoring = blank screen

Hi guys,
I encounter problems regarding System monitoring App on Android. I followed the instructions in SCN wiki to setup the gateway and ODATA to enable the monitoring via the mobile app on android.
My app connects to the gateway without any errors but did not show anything. The screen is just blank (see attached file). I have setup one technical monitoring in my solution manager 7.1 SP7 (to monitor the solution manager itself). Do you have any clue whats going wrong?

Unfortunately I can't try solman_admin, because I'm getting the following while try to access the data:
"No authorization to access Service '/AIGW/TECHMON_0001'"
I try to connect with my user and receive some XML data. But something is strange. As far as I know, the URL prefix should be "sap/opu/odata/AIGW" but this doen't work in my case. If I try "sap/opu/odata/AIGW/TECHMON" something happens, but I see no data (blank screen). Service Name is set to "TECHMON". While I connect to this url via web browser, I get the following XML data:

To and fro communication between mobile & sap system

Hi,
I want to enable a function in basis system in which on locking the sap userid, user will send an sms (using mobile) to sap system (ecc 6.0). Syetem will authenticate the request and will revert as sms to same user on mobile either success with unlocking the userid and resetting the password or authentication failure message.
Is this possible to send and receive such kind of sms to and from sap system?
If yes is it possible for system to read the input data and trigger the unlock command with password reset?
please advice.

Your requirement seems interesting.
1. An SAP system uses SAPconnect and the HTTP plug-in to communicate with a paging provider that forwards SMS messages.

Problems with Mobile Me System Preferences after installing Snow Leopard

I installed Snow Leopard yesterday, and noticed that my calendar was no longer syncing between my mac and my iphone. I opened the system preferences/mobile me pane and my .mac account came up, but when I tried to hit the "sync" pane it just froze. It did this repeatedly. I trashed the system preferences file and tried again, with the same result.
Any ideas? I'd really like my calendars to continue syncing across devices.

I had same issue, this cured it for me...
- Open MobileMe in System Preferences
- Click Advanced
- Click Reset Sync Data
- Select Calendar from drop down menu/pop up list
- (In my case I changed the arrow, to copy all calendar events from my mac to mobileme)
This resets the data in mobile me.
After this the sync function worked as normal & my iPhone syncing was ok as well...

I have been given a task to investigate and come up with an integrated all-in-one mobile student information system where students do the following:
Students should be informed of:
class changes by text
inform lecturers that they will be absent
Would be informed of upcoming seminars
Also display a map of where they are on campus
Provide them with information about rooms and buildings as they pass!so some kind of GPS
for all the above issues!, what software should I be thinking of? what hardware? what technologies etc?
what would the architecture of the potential solution be?

Hopefully this is not some kind of "student project", if it is, then just bag it now and tell the instructor that it is not doable within your budget and time constraints.
If not, then you need to look at, in Java, J2EE. You're going to need a good deal of C along with that to make interfaces to other systems.

Hey, I wish I could direct you to a good paper about this, but all I really have is http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/aglets which is the starting point I used years ago to do distributed agents. The problem is that they were single-trip agents and not per se `mobile.'
The concept however, is very easily accomplished via RMI through much of the new push for JNDI.

Remove mobile me system preferences

Can someone help me. I can't seem to remove the mobile me icon from my system preferences not can I add the i cloud symbol so I can access the i cloud. I'm in a real muddle. Can anyone help? Thanks

Please always state your operating system when you have a question.
The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Mavericks (10.9.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.
The requirements for Mountain Lion and Mavericks are:

This is a TEST of ATT Commercial Mobile Alert System.

How can I stop this? it happens like 3 to 4 times a day and it is so annoying.
Worst is when it Happens in the middle of the night and it keeps my screen on all night killing my battery. also happens when I dont notice it tell I check my phone and its hot and 10% battery is gone due to this.
I turned off all settings in Messages App but I Still get this stupid message.
