Mobile support for Sourcing/CLM 10

Dear Colleagues,
I have a question about mobile support for SAP Sourcing/CLM version 10. Is there any dedicated mobile application which will have workflow approving for example?
The only information which I found at SCN about mobile devices within SAP Sourcing/CLM 10 is:
"(...) This enhancement was made in preparation for potential mobile applications that will be integrated with SAP Sourcing / SAP CLM."
If you have any further information, please share.
Thanks in advance,
Przemyslaw

Hello,
The short answer for the first question is no.  However, there is more to say on the subject...
Support for mobile approvals are in the Sourcing/CLM product
backlog.  We also have this feature candidate in our internal and customer
surveys on feature candidates for our next release (11.0).  The surveys
were just completed.   We will soon begin the process of identifying
features to include in our plans for Release 11.0.  At this time, nothing
has been decided regarding what new features will be in Release 11.0.

Gary

  • Finding a mobile support for my imac 27''

I want to mount my imac on a mobile desktop
    (like this : http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/321/language/fr-FR/Default.aspx)
    - I want it to be easily adjustable in height
    - I want the inclinaison of the screen to be adjustable
    - I want it to be stable
    - I want it to be wifi friendly
    - I want it to be light (easy room switching)
The big problem with the ergotron is that the imac 27'' is too heavy...
Do you know any models that would be good for that?
Comments welcomed (like : "you fool! Vibrations will kill your imac!")

More than anything, you need something with reduced shipping costs, so a local vendor may work to your advantage. Going to a website will give you lots of options, but the shipping costs for desks can be prohibitive. Something like an Office Depot or OfficeMax or Staples might be useful. Or Amazon; they have a huge selection of desks at reduced prices. http://www.amazon.com/Computer-Desks-Hutches/b?ie=UTF8&node=1069106

  • BCE Mobile support for multiple profiles?

    Hi,,
Here os a question on BCE app on iPhone: Is there any way to support the following case:
    I read and reply to messages from twofold provider;
    1) my corp account (via exchange server)
    2) my personal gmail
I'd like to use "Flag" encryption on my secure communication via Exchange, but need to use "Encrypt" mode for gmail.
Could I configure BCE on iPhone to handle this? It seems that my only option is to use "Encrypt" for both.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks.

  • Reporting Services 2012 mobile support

    Hi,
Does anyone have info on mobile support for Reporting Services 2012. We've found
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlrsteamblog/archive/2011/10/13/power-view-pass-and-mobile.aspx
which is a year old. It states the direction/strategy for "web based BI solutions" including SSRS for mobile devices (Android, iOS etc). Timeframe is set to 2nd half 2012. SQL Server 2012 SP1 is in CTP4 now and we can't find any info about better support
    for mobile browsers and devices.
Has anyone found anything else or can share some experience? Our alternative is Telerik reporting which would be a new component for us which would add overhead to our project since the users and report writers know SSRS today.
    Thanks!

    Hi Mansos,
So far, my information abou the Mobile BI is gained from the Microsoft BI Team's MSDN
blog. There is a blog about Mobile BI posted on 3 April, 2012, you can refer to the following link:

If you need further information about the Mobile BI, I suggest that you contact the production group. Please see the "Contact US" section of the following site:

  • Help needed in building a demo mobile app for DRM support using Content server 4

    Hi all,
I am building an application for the blackberry to support reading of pdf and ebuf content similar to Adobe Digital Editions with DRM support . I came to know about the Adobe RMSDK .
Following is my understanding regarding my implementation , please correct me if i am wrong:
The DRM implementation on a mobile device for Adobe should satisfy the following criteria:
    1. The mobile device should have a application which uses the Adobe RMSDK.
    2. The publisher or the server app should install and run the content server 4
    3. An acsm file which contains the rights data should be saved stored at the adobe server and should be downloaded by the mobile client.
    4. The urls in the acsm xml file will be used to fetch the content for the ebook.
    I have the following querries:
    1. Is there an implementation of the RMSDK for java to run on blackberry.
    2. Is Adobe content server 4 free to install, if not do we have a test server for this purpose.
Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Jim,
Thanks for your kind reply. I have some more querries
Suppose if we have a client implementation of the Adove RMSDK in java,  please help answer these querries:
    1. How do we connect to the cs4 server (what will be the flow of data, is there a documentaion regarding the protocol to be used between the mobile client and the cs4 server in order to communicate and fetch Rights protected ebuf and pdf data.
    2. The link http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/library does not give me information of how to use this library to store by ebook data and fetch  drm data from the mobile client and the protocol/communication followed.
    3. How do i go forward in evaluating acs4( getting a test version of cs4 and using it ). We want to build a demo app in blackberry.
    thanks

  • Backend Source of Supply not supported for Direct Material in SRM

    Hi ,
When creating S/C or PO in SRM for Direct Material , backend Source of Supply ( i..e Purchasing Info Record or Backend Contracts ) not availble to select as a sourc of supply .
In our case, we are planning to maintain the sourc of supply (PIR or Contracts) in back end MM system only , then how can pick up the same ?
Can anyone please suggest on this .
    Regards
    NAP

    NO Prashanta,
It is still pending for me . i just raised OSS message to SAP ...but SAP saying that
" I checked and found that in the classic scenario , Direct Materials cannot use backend contracts. The behavior described above is in accordance with the system design. Only local sources of supply (local contracts and interlinkages) can be
used in the direct material scenario, as well as as in the extended classic scenario . Therefore the above error message which you get "Specify a valid contract" is valid."
I replied with the doubt that "Thanks for reply but we are not convenience, since what we learnt from
different SAP Blogs, Below SAP help and SRM Experts discussion forum
is, for Ext Classic Scenario (since for direct materials it always
tales by default Ext Classic Scenario, although we implemented Classic)
Local SRM contract and Supplier List are the possible Source of Supply.
As per SAP help documentation for Self-Service Procurement (Extended
    Classic) on below link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/e0/f6be5157a24340bf7b1279854a52e1/frameset.htm u201CYou can assign the sources proposed by the
system to items automatically (for example, if there is a single
contract for the item being procured) or manually in the case of a
quota arrangement, contract, or supplier from a supplier listu201D
As per SAP help documentation for Sourcing Using Supplier Lists on
    below link,
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/d8/33ec56f17f4404806072749f7e764f/frameset.htm u201CIn supplier lists, you can also manually allocate
back-end contracts from specific systems. This enables more effective
    sourcing for back-end contractsu201D
In the Supplier List there is facility to enter the ECC Contract
Number. Supplier List donu2019t support local SRM contract. It supports
    only ECC Contract /item.
As per your reply, do you mean to say that Source List is not a valid
Source of Supply for Direct Material in Classic Scenario (i.e. Ext
Classic scenario)? If not, then why the backend ECC Contract displays
as a Source of Supply, when we check the u201COrder as direct Materialu201D?
    Kindly suggest"
    Lets see.what SAP now replies.
    Simultaniously I'm looking some enhancment
If you have nay update/soultion then please share with me.

    <!-- profiles
    | This is a list of profiles which can be activated in a variety of ways, and which can modify
    | the build process. Profiles provided in the settings.xml are intended to provide local machine-
    | specific paths and repository locations which allow the build to work in the local environment.
    |
    | For example, if you have an integration testing plugin - like cactus - that needs to know where
    | your Tomcat instance is installed, you can provide a variable here such that the variable is
    | dereferenced during the build process to configure the cactus plugin.
    |
    | As noted above, profiles can be activated in a variety of ways. One way - the activeProfiles
    | section of this document (settings.xml) - will be discussed later. Another way essentially
    | relies on the detection of a system property, either matching a particular value for the property,
    | or merely testing its existence. Profiles can also be activated by JDK version prefix, where a
    | value of '1.4' might activate a profile when the build is executed on a JDK version of '1.4.2_07'.
    | Finally, the list of active profiles can be specified directly from the command line.
    |
    | NOTE: For profiles defined in the settings.xml, you are restricted to specifying only artifact
    | repositories, plugin repositories, and free-form properties to be used as configuration
    | variables for plugins in the POM.
    |

    <profiles>
    <!-- profile
    | Specifies a set of introductions to the build process, to be activated using one or more of the
    | mechanisms described above. For inheritance purposes, and to activate profiles via <activatedProfiles/>
    | or the command line, profiles have to have an ID that is unique.
    |
    | An encouraged best practice for profile identification is to use a consistent naming convention
    | for profiles, such as 'env-dev', 'env-test', 'env-production', 'user-jdcasey', 'user-brett', etc.
    | This will make it more intuitive to understand what the set of introduced profiles is attempting
    | to accomplish, particularly when you only have a list of profile id's for debug.
    |
    | This profile example uses the JDK version to trigger activation, and provides a JDK-specific repo.

    <snapshotPolicy>always</snapshotPolicy>

    </repositories>
    </profile>
    -->
    <!--
    | Here is another profile, activated by the system property 'target-env' with a value of 'dev',
    | which provides a specific path to the Tomcat instance. To use this, your plugin configuration
    | might hypothetically look like:
    |
    | ...
    | <plugin>

    |
    | <configuration>
    | <tomcatLocation>${tomcatPath}</tomcatLocation>
    | </configuration>
    | </plugin>
    | ...
    |
    | NOTE: If you just wanted to inject this configuration whenever someone set 'target-env' to
    | anything, you could just leave off the <value/> inside the activation-property.
    |

  • SSL Pinning support for mobile apps ?

    Hi there
i've just read this article and wondered if there is cross platform support for SSL pinning for mobile apps (iOS and Android) developed with AIR ?
