How do I log out of Twitter mobile site on my Blackberry Curve 8520? It's NOT the App
How do i log out of Twitter mobiel site on my BB Curve 8520? It's NOT the Twitter App from App world. I have the app and can log out on it but on when I use the mobile internet, I can't seem to find the log out button or log out at all. When I scroll down to the bottom there is no option to log out there 

I'm having the same issue.  It's defnitely not the phone.  I used another account to log in and it worked perfectly fine.  I think it is facebook trying to change something or maybe something is wrong with one of our settings? I dislike the facebook application.

    I have a curve 9300 and I want to download something that is not on app world   It takes ages to find it when i hav e used it while out so i want to be able to click on it stright away

    So, you are using now a web page for this (that is a guess, based on your statement of using a bookmark)? And you instead want an actual app for it? If so, you have to find out if the website you are using even has an app...if their web page has any contact information, you'd have to contact them to see if they even have what you desire.

  • Do not have app world installed on my phone...what to do..?

    i received my storm 9530 as a gift from one of my friend living in austrailia..now i am using it in pakistan..i cant see any version of app world in my application listing...some help me out plz...i want to download some applications through my desktop.

  • HELP, I can not open App World.

    I get my BlackBerry recently (BlackBerry Curve 9360), and since I turned on it, I couln't and can't open the App World. When I click to open it, it says "You haven't got sufficient wireless coverage or your wireless network connection is disabled." Why? I use my BB with Wi-Fi.Is this the problem?  How can I solve the problem? Please, help me.

    Try this:
    1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
    2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

  • App world will not open

    I have rebooted phone, uninstalled and reinstalled app world, but it refuses to open.  Click on it, use menu option, nothing.  I have notice that 2 of my apps have newer ver's on app world, the email notice will not open app world like it used to!  Any ideas?

    OK, got it.  Uninstalling and reinstalling from the phone didn't do it.  Connecting to the computer and uninstalling and reinstalling did it.  I love my Blackberry but RIM really needs to get their act together.  It takes around 8 minutes for my phone to reboot, and I have to do that far more often than I should.  I ev en have quick pull reboot the phone every night, and I STILL have to pull the battery at times!  Then I am without a phone, calander, etc for 8 minutes.  After years of being a loyal BB user, this is wwearing thin especially when Droids and i Phones do not seem to have this issue, and have more apps available.

  • Blackberry 9300 App World applications not available

    I am trying to install applications on my 9300 Curve and several display  "Unavailable on this device" in My World. They are listed in AppWorld as "All Devices" - "All Carriers".
    These happen to be the applications that I use most, namely Livestrong and Air Canada.
    Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a solution to get them running?

    I contacted the support group for the Livestrong app and they are in the process of updating so it seems to be a vendor issue not a App World issue.

  • App world poor connection - ALL THE TIME

    Every time I use app world on my playbook it takes anywhere betweem 5 to 10 attempts to download apps or games. Sometimes it doesnt work at all to the point I get hacked off and dont even bother trying any more Is this normal or am I doing something wrong

    1. Launch the BlackBerry® AppWorld application.
    2. Swipe in from the bottom-left corner of the frame to bring up the keyboard.
    3. Type rst.
    Note: BlackBerry App World will not provide any notification that the reset has been performed.

  • App world is showing this error "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error"

    Few days back I received some App world updates through wireless network. After installing those updates and restarting mobile when I clicked on App world icon following error is being displayed "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFound Error". In fact I can't enter into appworld.
    Please suggest remedy

  • Lost app world icon

    Updated my app world version.
    Now get message "uncaught exception:- Java.lang error"
    And do not have app world icon!!!

    I've dealt with this issue several times, and I have some steps for everyone to check. Blackberry App world is an app itself, and should be installed in the phone. The first thing to check is to see if Blackberry App world is actually installed on the phone. This can be done under Options> Device> Application Management> Make sure "All" is selected> Blackberry App World. If it's not in this list, it's not in the phone. If you find that your Blackberry App World program is not installed, it can be redownloaded at www.blackberry.com/blackberryappworld (using you phone's browser).
    If you find it is installed in the programs list, it's likely either hidden or tucked away in a folder. To view a folder list on your device, act like you're moving an icon to a folder. Highlight an icon> press the menu key> choose move to folder. This is the folder list that you'll need to check for the icon.

  • Upgraded App World.. Lost the App World icon

    I have a BB Tour 9630.  I got an alert today telling me I had to download the upgrade in order to continue.  I dowbnloaded, was told the download and install were successful but not the App World icon is no where to be found. 
    Any ideas??

  • Official Twitter app from BlackBerry

    Hi,
    I added a Twitter account through the Accounts page in the Settings. That way, Im shown only the Direct Messages. Unable to find my twitter timeline. 
    Is there an official Twitter app from BlackBerry for the PlayBooks on the AppWorld. I find that coming preloaded on Z10 smartphones but not on PlayBooks. I am not preferring to download other 3rd party apps. What are the possible risks of sideloading an app? I prefer to download the official app for Playbook from the online store. 

    There is (on mine) a Twitter Short Cut pre installed on the home screen of the PlayBook.  This however will only allow you to view mobile Twitter. There was a url trick that could change this to full Twitter but Twitter put a stop to this across several platforms apparently for security reasons.  I recommend you download the Origami Browser from BlackBerry World. This will allow you to view the full version of Twitter as though on a pc. Works well for me.

    When did this issue start to happen? Are you using the inbuilt Twitter app, or a downloaded one? Are you able to log into your Twitter account using the mobile browser or a PC? 
    Try to clear the phone's browsing history  by going to Browser > slide the toggle screen up > More > Settings > Clear data. Try also to restart your phone. After that, log into your Twitter account and see if it'll be accepted by the device. Note that account usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
    If it's a downloaded Twitter app, try also to remove and reinstall it from the Store.
    Let us know the outcome.

  • Entered a hacked site through twitter app

    Hi,
    I was on the Twitter app on my iPod Touch and clicked on one of my follower's website link, when her page was partially loaded, I saw that it said "This site has been hacked". I had closed the page before it finished loading, but now I'm paranoid. I'm not tech savvy, so I was wondering if it would put me at risk at getting hacked too by accessing a hacked page? The thing is, the Twitter app doesn't open links directly in Safari, but within the app itself, so I don't know what's going on. Can accessing a hacked page on an Apple OS cause any harm? (Forgive me if it's a dumb question) Is it something I should worry about?
    I tried searching up her site name along with the word hacked on google, and the little preview showed the hacked message. The keywords I typed in were 'Candy Sky hacked'
