MOBILE VERSION DOES NOT WORK!!!! Is Adobe not aware that encrypted forms fail using mobile reader??

I created a PDF Form in Acrobat Pro 9, and encrypted it with a password. No other restrictions were placed on the document.
When I open the document on an android device (tablet or phone) or an iPod, it does not allow me to fill in any of the fields or apply a signature of any kind.
However, when I open the same exact form with the desktop version (Reader XI), it does allow me to fill it out and sign it with no problem.
I have no problems filling it out and applying a signature with a mobile device when the document is not encrypted.
PLEASE HELP!

Yes, apparently Adobe is aware of this.
For Adobe to omit such basic functionality to its mobile version is appalling.
I would have expected this from Microsoft, but not from Adobe.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

Thumbnail preview works in adobe reader 9 but does not work in adobe 8.0

I don't want to mess things up even more! Geez--I'm almost 60 years old,

I was on the phone for TWO hours last night telling people exactly what was
going on. I even read the error message word for word. No one would help me
unless I coughed up the money that I don't have...and in addition I will

actually a lovely person. It is just that this stuff rattles my nerves.

Event.hits property does not work at Adobe 9

I have just discovered that the property "event.hits" does not work at Adobe Reader 9 properly.
I have some JavaScript, which uses this property:
if (event.hits.length > 0)
var targetPos = event.hits[0].position;
Now, at Adobe Reader 9 the value of "event.hits[0].position" is not correct.
At Adobe 8 Standard this JavaScript works very well!
Can you comment this issue?

When I open this file on Adobe 8 then gold arrow works fine.
In this case the gold arrow (pointer) has a true location on the box.

When Firefox is open the zoom function (option/command/space bar) does not work in Adobe programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). This happens only when Firefox is open and when I close it the zoom functions work fine again without having to restart the applications.
This is intermittent but happens quite frequently each day if Firefox is active.

I get a usable window, but zoom doesn't work as you noted.
How about using an intermediate page and window.open() for the target page? You can (mostly) restrict the chrome of windows opened that way, but it will leave behind the intermediate window...

i'm trying to capture webcam snaps and storing it on local desktop.
Below code of capuring snap is working with flex but same code not working in adobe air.
I'm using Adobe Flash builder beta 2
is any setting is required to use webcam with adobe air?

I seem to have the same problem. When creating an web application it works fine, but when creating a desktop application it doesn't. I can't figure out what the problem is.
Does anyone know?

File link not working on Adobe 8.0

on Adobe Acrobat 8.0 the File link does not work. For example if I have in the pdf the link: c:\daten\info.doc, I can't open this link. If it is a Weblink then it is working. The customer told me that was working in Adobe6????

the customer uses the Adobe Acrobat 8.1.2 Standard and Acrobat Distiller 8.0 Postscript 3016102. I did print to pdf with adobe.
I have all printscreens on a file, if you need more info!
I did create on customers PC a new Winword document and printed ou as a pdf. Weblinks are working, File UNC File not.
I have all Printscreens on a File, you can have it if you like (but i need Filelink or eMailadress?)

PDF Printer not working in Adobe XI

The PDF Printer option is not working in Adobe XI. We are using Windows 8. When I open the printer box and select Adobe PDF, I get an error message stating "The server threw an exception." The "Save as PDF" and "Convert to PDF" options work but those options are not always available.

A server exception would suggest you are using Acrobat in the cloud. I don't have an answer in that case other than trying later. Is the Adobe PDF printer indeed installed on your machine or in the cloud?

i have that same issue, i recently had my ipod sent off to apple and they sent me a refurbished ipod, all was great till i discovered that my home button was not very responsive like it should be. If you have any luck finding out how to fix this problem will you please pass on the information. And i will do the same as to how to fix the issue and passing along the information

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo coes back again?

Hi, as the forum topic title says: iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store, I guess this the right place to ask !!!
Anyway I already tried to contact the developer. Page's link does not bring anywhere. no site, no contact mail :(:( it seems Apple bought a App from some... Ghost. And, worst, now the App disappeared from ITunes Store and.... Apple support (at least by email) just mistalk about it giving no solution at all. I really guess who reply mails is a f...g computer trying analyzing the question and trying give solution. Coz their emails are always confusing or talking about sth else than my troubleshooting.
Anyway... Ok... I just hope have at least my money back.
