Mobile Web and Media problems!

If you are reading this than go ahead and answer it please! My plan involves mobile web and media messaging... I cannot recieve or send media messages such as pictures, sounds or anything. Nor can i go on the web!!! I pay $50 for UNLIMITED talk, text, and web and multimedia messaging but i cannot do all these things!!!~~~ Lg extravagent

Diff. between Mobile Web And Dev. Web Client

Hi,
I have been trying to find the difference between Siebel Mobile Web Client and Siebel Developer Web Client for quiet some time now. As per my understanding below is the difference between the two:
Siebel Mobile Web Client uses the Locally stored siebel executable and it accesses the locally stored dbf. However with the Siebel Developer Web Client (also uses the same executable as Mobile web client) you can connect to the server database.
By default when you launch the Siebel Mobile Web Client you get to choose from Sample and Local dbf. But with the Siebel Developer Web Client you get to choose from Sample, Local and the Server.
Please let me know if my understanding is correct and of anyother differences if anybody is aware off.

Hello
I am running photoshop cs4 on windows vista
When I click on file>save for web and devices, a message appears saying "the operation cold not be completed"
This happens for small files and large files
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this problem please?

Hi again, rego.
I did a bit of searching and someone had a similar problem as you where simply deleting the pref file via key command didn't work. A user suggested to first zip the Save for Web preferences and then delete the preferences. I am not sure what zipping the file does but basically they are suggesting delete the preferences manually.
So try zipping the save for web preferences file and then delete it. After this is done, restart Photoshop and see if it helps. To find where the Save for Web preferences are, refer to this page:

EDIT: I am not sure if I was clear about the process suggested in the other post. For clarification, the suggestion is to zip the Save for Web preferences file and then delete the zipped file of the Save for Web preferences.

CS5 Save for Web and Devices problem

I recently installed CS5 and now I cannot save for Web and Devices. A pop up error window appears saying "A write permissions error has occurred". Any suggestions to make it possible to save for Web and Devices would be appreciated.
Also, when I exit Photoshop CS5, yet another pop up window appears and reads, "Could not save Preferences because the file is locked or you do not have the necessary access privileges. Use the 'Get Info' command in the Finder to unlock the file or change permissions on the file or enclosing folders'. Again, any suggestions as to what this message is about and how to make PS close as it did with CS4 would be appreciated!

Try this first:
Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility > Macintosh HD > Repair Disk Permissions
Also make sure your not saving to a removable hard drive that is NTFS. If you can drag files into the drive its the right type of drive to use and there shouldn't be a problem.
Apart from that all i can say is to restart your Mac and make sure all the adobe updaters are up to date

Exporting animation using Save for Web and Devices problem

The animation plays as it should when the "Play" button is pressed at the bottom of the "Save for Web and Devices" Menu , but when I Preview it the individual frames don't disappear once they've shown , so you can see them all at the end of the animation . This is also how they save as a .gif ( although using the "Save as html" option reverts to looking as it should , each frame appearing and disappearing in turn) How do I save as gif without this happening?Many thanks for any help

10.6.7 Video and media problems

I just downloaded the new mac update for my iMac and have found that youtube both flash version and html5 aren't working and audio files on tumblr aren't playing. It seems to be all through Safari since itunes and its movies are working.
What should I do?

I don't use tumblr so I can't check on that for you, but I just checked youtube after updating about an hour ago and I had no problems - have you checked on the Adobe Flashplayer site to make sure you have the latest version?

I still have no service, no email no wifi no mobile web and no BBM??

as I pass the new view, the background is "cut" to the height of the keyboard

FS 1400 plan/ access to mobile web

I have the Family/Shared Plan nation wide 1400, and I have read that it include access to Mobile web.
Does Mobile Web include?
Mobile Email?
Mobile Web in Media Center?
VZ Navigator?
If it does, does it still have to payed as toward to the Data sent or received (incl. Mobile Web advertising) is $1.99/MB?
Because the two features seems to be the same yet different.
I have a Samsung Intensity, with access to mobile web, would I still have to pay the bill of using MB for the mobile web or does it count to the Family Shared Plan of 1400?

No plan offered currently by verizon offers access to the mobile web without the 1.99 charge per mb usage. there are some premium and connect plans that are grandfathered but are no longer available but they were expensive anyways.
Heres a great breakdown for you to decide from:
      The best value is an unlimited data plan for 29.99 a month which will allow unlm access to the internet for one price. It grants you access to mobile web, media center, anything needing internet you could think of on a phone.
      The next plan available (which sounds like would suit you) is the $15 - 150mb data plan. If you are using emails and not really going on hardcore surfing all day every day then this will work out perfect for you. Also with this plan you will want to keep an eye on your data usage just to be on the safe side by dialing #data or #3282 which will tell you how many mb you have currently used for the month. The reason I bring this up is cause the way this plan works is that your not billed for overage after your 150 allowance, as soon as you hit 150.01 or higher mbs you get hit with another $15 for every 150 mbs used. Now dont get me wrong 150 mb is ALOT of usage and an amazing value for your dollar.
    The last plan available is the pay as you go mb. This plan is !.99 per mb you use, and if you are going to use it for checking your emails you will also be required to fave the $5.00 mobile email feature which is free with the other data plans. Now breaking this out, if you have the $5 moblie email plan and use only 5mb stretched out throughout a full month you are already going to be at the $15 data plan.
    So I hope this clears any questions you have about data charges and usage.

Problems installing Bridge and Media Encoder in CS6

I recently installed Creative Suite CS6 Design & Web Premium. I had previously installed the CS5 version and had not un-installed it. Everything except Acrobat appeared to install correctly. When I opened Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) I noticed that it used the CS5 version Bridge. I went into Bridge and unchecked the open at start box, closed Bridge and Photoshop and re-opened Photoshop CS6 (64-bit). When I tried to lunch Bridge from Photoshop the following message appeared in the Desktop> panel : Waiting for Bridge CS6..." Bridge CS6 did not appear despite waiting for several minutes. I then pressed the Start button and went into the Programs listing. Under the Adobe CS6 group I found all of the applications (other than Acrobat) but Bridge CS6 (64-bit), Bridge CS6, and Media Encoder each had generic icons rather than the expected relevant Adobe icons. I tried to load each of the three by clicking on the icon. In each instance the following message appeared:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher.
My system is a Gateway FX6802. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium version 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1, Build 7601. The system has 9 GB of memory. I ran CS5 on the system and did not experience any difficulty with Bridge.

Thanks. Being the impatient sort (inspite of the problems that can create) I only did a partial uninstall with the cleaner tool, taking out the three items that were not working. Initially that seemed not to work. As I had other non-Adobe projects to take care of I put it out of mind. I even let an updatee package do its wonders. Today I used Photoshop for a quick project. I clicked on the Launch Bridge button and lo and behold the proper icon showed up and Bridge loaded. After finishing my project I closed down Photoshop and Bridge and then went through updating once more. The other problem I was having was with Acrobat. I finally traced the problem to a bad installation of Acrobat 9 at the CS4 level. (Shows you how much I use Acrobat.) I used the cleaner tool to clean up the remnants of CS4. After that Acrobat X installed quite nicely. At this point everything seems to be working as it should. Thanks for your help.

Acces key problem in Mobile web application

While reimplementing the controller class i am getting one message "Method DO_INIT is implemented in class CL_BSP_CONTROLLER" and asking for Access key.
Why this is happening and how i can overcome this problem?

Problem with the Installation of Mobile Web Server...

I have a N95. I have been trying to install Mobile Web Server on it. The installation fisnishes but the icons are all separeted and there is no only one icon for the program (MWS, MWSChat, MWSBlog, MWS).
Reading the manual of the software I realized that something should run after the installation but nothing is
executed. I tried to install it on memory card, main memory
>with no success. Is there any bug reported about it?

ADF Mobile sample - palm simulator and jar problem

I got a few problems with ADF mobile tutorial. (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/tutorials/wireless/mobile2.html)
1. Palm Simulator has no web browser.
As per description under Prerequisites I downloaded the newest Palm Simulator (and some older version too). My Palm Simulator has no web browser. I found nothing how to add or enable web browser. In tutorial screenshots the Palm Simulator has always a browser.
Where can I get a Palm Simulator with web browser or where can I get a free PPC Simulator for testing my application?
2. Incompatible jar-files.
Im using JDeveloper 10.1.3.0.4.3673. I think this is the newest version. Mobile.zip contains adf-faces-impl.jar and jsf-impl.jar. Both files have version 10.1.3.0.5. JDeveloper contains this files too. But version is 10.1.3.0.4! On starting oc4j I got an error with information about this version conflict.
What is wrong on my environment? Did I miss important files? I found no newer ADF files at oracle web site. My solution is to replace the files in Mobile.zip with the older files from JDeveloper.

The Palm simulator doesn't include a Web browser by default, You have to install it> Here is the URL where you can download the software: http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/webbrowser/
Concerning the jar-files it shouldn't be a problem. Just use the jar versions delivered with the Mobile.zip and it should run.

Upgrading from 7.5 to version 8: Web and Email Collaboration problem

To be able to upgrade from 7.5 to version 8.x then the web and email collaboration should be removed and this is the hard thing !
To go through all the web collaboration objects and remove it one after one is something not possible, special when I am trying to remove for example an agent who is belonging to the skill group and it gives us: you do not have a permission !!
So I decided to do a clean at the database level (specially that the problem appears when running EDMT), I need a help to know the following to be able to do this cleaning:
1) Should I do this in the side_A database or on the AWDB?
2) If I removed the Application Instance that is related to the Collaboration, could this resolve the problem to do the upgrade from version 7.5 to 8.x? Or I have to delete all the values related to the Collaboration (for example, the media class, the used skill group and the used agents, ... etc)?
Looking to a help PLZ.
