Mobileme album not created

Hello,
i created a mobileme album in aperture but it is not published in the mobileme gallery.
tried sev. times, but aperture does not even show a URL for the album in mobileme menue.
Last time i created a mobileme album was wih aperture 2 now using 3.0.3.
I remember that i had a similar problem before, the solution was to start the sync process to mobileme manually. Searched everything but didn't find a button/menue item.
Is there still a possibility to synchronize aperture and mobileme manually ?

I got my mobileme album at last.
i tried several times Aperture -> Preferences -> Web -> CheckNow. After creation of the mobileme album in aperture the effect was always that the album was deleted.
I created a new mobileme album and just waited for some days. The album did not appear in my mobileme gallery. I tried again the CheckNow button expecting the album to be deleted. But this time aperture immediately started synchronizing with mobileme.
Didn't do any further experiments yet, would still like to know if there is a way to start synchronization manually.

MobileMe albums not visible in Aperture after upgrade from iPhoto

I've just upgraded from iPhoto to Aperture and all went well, except that my mobileme albums aren't appearing. I published a test album which worked, but my existing ones don't appear.
I've read on another thread that a dodgy character in an album name caused a similar problem but I can't see anything that looks odd in my mobileme album names.
Any ideas?

I got a chance to look at it on a PC. Totally hosed up. It loads incorrectly then parts of it go blank.
I have a site that is based very much on one of the built-in templates and it works fine on the same PC. It contains only text boxes, image placeholders, and images with "picture frame" borders. Nothing fancy, no overlays, no extra code or anything. I haven't looked much at the other templates so I don't know if yours is mostly a template or how much you may have modified one or what tricks you may have done to get the look you wanted. Whatever it is, IE does not like it. Unfortunately, you can't really ignore them as was suggested; they make up a large part of your audience.

Also, when attempting to create cards, iPhoto freezes.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

HT5129 "The migration of your MobileMe albums could not be completed."

Can anyone assist me with this issue. Each time the MobileMe window pops up to ask if I want to migrate my photos from there to iCloud, I get the error message, "The migration of your MobileMe albums could not be completed." The only options I have from this point are to "Try Again" or "Remind Me Later". Any suggestions? Thanks

Go to http://web.me.com and use the Sign In link to go to your MMe account.
There you can go to the galleries and use the Download button to download zipped folders for each of your galleries.
Then launch iPhoto again and click on the More Info button and ignore the webpage, go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the MobileMe account. Next to go the Sustem/MobileMe preference pane and log out of MMe. That will stop those messages.
OT

Migrating MobileMe albums does not work.

Every time when I open Aperture the program tries to migrate MobileMe albums. But nothing's happening. Aperture seems to freeze.

Choose the Learn More link, and then ignore the resulting web page. Instead open Aperture Preferences/Web and remove the MobileMe account. Some people have had to remove internet connection, but others not.

I do not see Library or Albums when creating books?

I want to be able to choose my photos from Library or albums while craeting a book in iPhoto 06, please tell me how I can see me photos while creating a book.

The easiest way to create a book is to make an album containing all the images you think you might want to include in the book. Then select the album to create the book from. If you decide you want more photos from your library, select them in the library and drag them to the book icon in the source column. The new images will appear in the strip at the top of your book viewing window.

IWeb 08 / Aperture 2 / MobileMe albums "No albums or movies available"

I've searched the forums and there doesn't seem to be a resolution for this. It seems the issue has been known about for quite some time now; hard to believe Apple is just ignoring this.
basics:
I created MobileMe albums via Aperture 2. I open iWeb '08 and go to insert the album and get this message: "No albums or movies available"; this message also appears via the Widget add. The albums are NOT password protected.

Well I have found a work around... Though others need to test it as well as me.
Log into me.com and open the gallery you prepared in aperture.
Select the "Adjust the settings for this album" button at the top, then select the pop-up that says "Syncs with" and choose "iPhoto" instead of "Aperture".
Press "Publish".
That's it, the gallery now appears in the iWeb Widgets list!
Also it still syncs with Aperture, both way

How do I export a movie from imovie to a particular mobileme album

The Mobileme Gallery option in the Share menu of iMovie does not provide for exporting to a particular mobileme album. What is the best way to do this?

You can do it any of four ways.
1) SHARE/to iTUNES
In this case you can right-click on the movie in iTunes and select reveal in Finder. Then open Facebook's video import page and navigate to your movie.
2) SHARE/to Media Browser
I don't recommend this way because it is easy to inadvertently mess up an important file if you don't know what you are doing. But if you want to, you can find your movie inside the project RCPROJECT package in the movies folder.
Then open Facebook's video import page and navigate to your movie.
3) SHARE/to Movie
You will get a dialog box allowing you to save the movie to a place of your choice. You can upload it to youtube from there.
4) SHARE/Export to QuickTime. Here you can customize the setting of your video. Unless you have a great deal of knowledge about video and audio codecs, use the above options, which create great results for Facebook.

Having problems uploading an album to create a book. iPhoto will compile the data, but fails to upload. Error message allows a "Retry", but its a dead end. (iPhoto 11)

I can't get iPhoto 11 to accept my album to create a book. Compiles OK, but bombs out when uploading. I have tried Safe Mode and eliminating Energy Saver. I have pulled out the Preference file and re-inserted after logging back in, but nothing seems to work. This problem seems pretty prevalent, since it keeps coming up in discussion groups. I had the same problem with iPhoto 6, and hoped that it would have been cured by now, but apparently not. I guess Apple likes to collect $49 from each caller to give out the proper solution. Help!

OK - so I have tried deleting my iPhoto preferences, repairing my keychain, rebuilding my iPhoto library, uninstalling Safari Beta 4 and I still can't get this one photo album (that has 140 videos) to upload properly to MobileMe. I left it to upload when I went to bed and when I woke up, I saw that my iPhoto quit itself yet again. So again, if there was an error message, I missed it. Before I left for work, I started an upload of an album of just photos to see if that works, thinking that perhaps there's a video in the other album that iPhoto is getting stuck on. If that works, I suppose I could try uploading the videos one at a time, right? Just keep adding them to the Gallery till something fails? If I find that the album of photos failed, then I think my only choice will be to pay $49 for AppleCare's assistance. I love how one solution they already gave me (for free) is to purchase a new laptop. Yeah, that would solve it! LOL

Mobileme album from keywords

Can I define a mobileme album in Aperture from keywords or other metadata?
Now I define a smart album, "Italy 1951" by incorporating into it all images with the keywords "Italy" and "1951". I created a mobileme album of the same name by dragging the images from the smart album into the mobileme album.
Now, as I add images to the library with the same keywords, the smart album updates automatically. It would be most useful if the mobileme album would incorporate them as well --and update the online album at its next sync.
Can Aperture do this now?

Upon further investigation of this new 'feature' I came upon the following.
In my above example, let's say I have my Library A open.
I can see the MobileMe albums of the other libraries (B and C) that do not belong in A.
I just clicked on a MM Album of library B and it is now synchronising the contents of this Album with my Library.
So now I have photo's of MM Albums B and C showing up INSIDE MY LIBRARY A
Good grief APPLE !
It get's even worse. The synced photo's manifest themselves inside smart folders, ilife media browser and iphone/ipad syncs !!!
I'm having genuine problems with some aspects of Aperture since version 3.0, there is an open bug in bugreporter that seems to be unsolvable, and after 8 months of bugfixing (february 3.0.1 to November 3.1) this is what they come up with ???
The worst part is that it seems this new 'feature' was intentional :

MobileMe Album - Multiple Copies of Images

I created a MobileMe Album and published it in my gallery. I then added pictures to the album by selecting and dragging the photos into the album. The album in Aperture shows multiple images of the same picture. When I select one image, both appear to be selected. When I try to delete one of the copies - both are deleted as is the original. All copies and the original in all albums are gone. When I look at the album in my web gallery - all the photos are there with no duplicates, but they are not in the same order. Anybody have any advice as to what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure my description of my problem is strange, but so is Aperture. Help? Suggestions? thanks

FWIW, this appears to be an Aperture bug that's independent of MobleMe. I have the same problem in normal albums with no connection to MobleMe. If I copy an image from one album to another, multiple copies appear in the destination album and there's no way to prune the copies: removing one copy removes them all.

Link several Albums into 1 MobileMe album

I have several albums that I have merged to create one MobileMe album.
Is there any way that when I add/remove a photo from any of these albums it automatically updates the MobileMe album too?

No - iPhoto syncs the MobileMe album to MobileMe - not anything else
Just add the photo to the MobileMe alum in the source pane on the left - that is the one that syncs

Updating sync between iphoto album and mobileme album

I have created a 'mobileme album' from an album in iphoto. However when i add a new photo to the 'iphoto album' it does automatically sync into the 'mobileme album'. Should this happen or do i need to recreate the mobileme album every time?

Neither
Just drag the new photo(s) to the MobileMe gallery in the source pane on the left under MobileMe galleries (and to the original album too as a backup) it will update automatically - do not make additional changes while it is updating - this may cause problems and duplications
MobileMe is updated when- and only when - you change the gallery in the MobileMe gallery section of your source pane.

MobileMe Album Descriptions

When I create a MobileMe Album in Aperture there is a large text area for the Album Description. However, when I view the album online it only displays 8 or 9 words from the description. I don't understand why they give you such a large area to enter text, and then cut it off in the album. Is there anyway to get the album to display the entire description?
