MobileMe alias showing up via iCloud?

Hi All,
I was sending an email on my ipad this morning and tapped the 'From' field to change my sending account. I noticed an old MobileMe alias was in the list.
When I logged in to iCloud.com, the alias wasn't listed under the 'Addresses' tab.
So, I have an alias that I can't change or delete? It probably isnt a big deal but I am a bit of a neat freak and would like to remove the alias.
Has anyone else noticed this and if so, have you been able to change an old MobileMe alias?

I have the exact same issue with the Mail.app and on the iPhone. After migrating to iCloud, old aliases that I used on MobileMe a long time ago now show up. I tried calling Apple, but the hold time was too long. I think I would give them a couple more days to fix this. Perhaps you can try calling them and ask them and post the answer if you hear anything?

You'll need to transfer the video manually, you can't use video in 'my photo stream'.

HT4897 MobileMe alias not transferrable to iCloud??

Hello guys,
I used to have a MobileMe account but couldn't get it transferred to iCloud.
Now in iCloud, my old [email protected] address isn't available anymore.
Does this mean it has been taken by someone else or can I still get my alias transferred?

If you did not migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud before August 1st, your account will have been deleted. However you can still sign in with your main @me.com address in System Preferences>iCloud and enable Mail in the checklist there to reactivate the address, though its previous contents have been deleted and are not recoverable - and that will include aliases, I'm afraid: to the best of my belief you cannot reactivate an alias in this circumstance.
What you can't do is set up a new iCloud account from scratch and choose your old MobileMe address as the @me.com address.

IPhone dead, pictures showing up via iCloud but not most recent?

Here's the deal- I made the great mistake of accidentally taking my phone for a spin in the washer last night and it might or might not resurrect in the next few days (it was dry when I pulled it out, so I'm still holding on to some hope). I have an iPad and as a last ditch effort to save my phone photos, I turned on photo stream. It worked great and several dozen pictures from up til early last week showed up. However, there are a good many pictures I took in the last week that aren't appearing, so I'm curious as to how these recent-but-not-most-recent pictures appeared but not the latest ones. I hadn't turned on photo stream on my iPad at any point before last night (post-phone death), so I'm unsure what's going on or if there's anything else I can do to connect the latest photos to another device. Not sure how these things work, but I'm assuming it uses wi-fi... do you think the fact that photo stream connected to my phone at all means there's some hope for my phone's second life? Or was it possibly just the ghost of my phone giving its last ounce of energy to the cloud before dying? Any input would be nice, as I've scoured the Internet for answers.

Are you talking about syncing notes and photo stream photos? If so, first make sure your notes are in iCloud by going to icloud.com on your computer. If they are, make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account and try going to Settings>iCloud, turning Notes to Off, then after a minute or so, turn it back On.
Photo stream photos are only uploaded after enabling photo stream. If the photos were already on your device when you enabled photo stream, then would not have been uploaded. Try taking a new photo, then see if it appears in your my photo stream album.

You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well.

If your phone is turned off or not connected to the Internet, you will be unable to locate it. Last known location is only stored for 24 hours.

If the phone is turned off, doesn't have an internet connection, or has been restored preventing "Find my iPhone" from being able to work, there is no other way to track it.

We called today, got a case number and they say it should be resolved in a few days.
Oddly, dispute seeing many similar issues using Goggle, the tech said that he had never heard of this happening before.

The link wont load... i've tried both Explorer and Chrome. I also tried using the link via the HP website but this didnt work either.
There's and HP diagnostic tool downloaded on my desktop (is this hte same thing) when i run this is launches a browser which times out.
I also ran the troubleshooting tool but it determined it was a network issue and directed me to the forum.
My work IT support recommended linking the printer to my computer via USB but the printer didnt come with one and I don't have one available.

Photos uploaded via iCloud show lower resolution when saved to device

I took some photos with my iphone. They loaded to my workstation via iCloud. I edited them in photoshop to crop and enhance the colors. I then uploaded to ipad via iCloud. When viewed on the device from the photo stream the photo looks fine. But when I save the photo the the device (camera roll) the resolution is chunky.

I also have the same issue, but I have not figured out the cause.

[email protected] and [email protected] are the same thing - you can't actually delete the @me.com version.
However you can deal with the problem by setting up a Rule to move all messages address to the @me.com address to the Trash, from which they will automatically be deleted after a week, so you won't even see them.
Go to the Mail page at http://icloud.com ; click the cogwheel icon at bottom left and choose 'Rules'.

Why haven't my MobileMe files moved over to iCloud? iDisk and Lion issue?

Everything else has matriculated over to iCloud automatically. But my working files, typically MSOffice files also, have not. What can I do to get them to move? Or should I just put everything onto a hard drive on my desk and chuck the notion of online "cloud" storage? Another way of putting it; iDisk isn't showing up on my computer and is not accessbile via Lion. So, how do I get my files to move to iCloud from MobileMe, and then show up via Lion as either in iCloud or my iDisk?

Please amend your signature to show you are using Lion - having the wrong system showing can lead to some irrelevant answers.
Your iDisk and its contents, including websites and Gallery, do not migrate to iCloud: iCloud does not provide these facilities. The iDisk will continue to work as before but will terminate on 30 June 2012 and its contents be deleted, so you will need to find alternatives before then.
The migration process has probably logged you out of MobileMe and you will need to go to System Preferences>MobileMe and sign in again.
