MobileMe Calendar Problem Help ASAP!!

Hi Guys
I'd appreciate some advice with this pretty annoying problem. This is an iPhone 4 problem not a mobile me so I'd appreciate it if the MOD does not move this.
My MobileMe calendars do not appear to be syncing anymore, problem only just started. I've tried deleting the account on the phone, reinstalling it, syncing through iTunes doesn't work because it says the calendar is in use, even though it's not. Tried everything.
Can anyone help out please?

installled a new MAC version OX Mountain 10.8 Lion that has new feaures for Messaging. Whnever I want to access the services, they want me to log in using as username and password thta I have created under MobileMe. But I walways get Log in denied. PLease could you help me. I would like either to access or get a new account.

MUSIC PROBLEM--HELP ASAP

I have recently had iTunes converted all my songs to 128kbps AAC format, not my music won't sync at all. I try maunally add the songs to the iPod and still won't work. My iPod says it has the songs (1088 songs to be) with 1.19GB of memory left (after converting), but it won't show on my iPod. I even reset my iPod in both Recovery Mode and DFU and none works. HELP ASAP.

IPod tounch and MobileMe Calendar problems

for the second time time my PC and my Ipod touch are unable to sync. The fault being inconsistent data. I use my Ipod to list my appointments, so its the ipod that hold the most accurate data.
3 things 1) I've read that I can use my ipod to over-write my PC's (Outlook) calendar ( although not tried this yet). 2)The information stored on MobileMe.com's calendar varies some appointments show as 1 hour earlier on the cloud server? Could this lead to the inconsistent data problem? 3) Some of my appointments disappear from my Ipod touch. My PC shows appointments I've made, if I alter them, names or times, a few have disappeared. I think once before with the data problem and now again probably due the lacking of sycn.
Does anyone have any advice for me? I'd prefer not to go back to a written diary.

Calendar Problem- Help needed

Hi:
I have a google calendar but I did not use a Gmail account to set up the calendar. Instead, I used a pop account from my isp service provider- who is cogeco.ca
I am trying to sync my google calndar to my Blackberry built in calendar. I can't seet to do it.
Can someone give me the steps and the server addresses I would need to use.

To use Google calendar, you typically have to have a google email address, for that is what goole uses to authenticate all of their services. If your ISP has some sort of relationship with google to provide, via your ISP, some google services, then you will need to inquire with your ISP as to how to use those, for that is a rather special situation, not covered by any of the normal methods. If your ISP does not have this special relationship with google, and you wish to use google for calendar, then you would need to create a google account.

Calendar Problem, help ? :(

I haven't used my calendar before but recently I need it to keep track of my schedule for work. I realized that I couldn't create an event. At first I thought that's how my calendar was supposed to be until I asked a couple of my friends. So I was wondering how I could fix this problem. I do not have the "Calendars" button on the top left corner and the "+" on the top right corner. I have try restoring my phone, doesn't work.
This is what my calendar looks like.

First go into Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar and choose Sync calendars for All Events. Now go into Settings/iCloud and toggle Calendar on/off. Hopefully that will bring the + option back.

Google Calendar Problem - help?

On my PC I use Google Calendar for my personal calendar (also linked to another family calendar). I downloaded the App to my G2, but it only shows the family calendar (not my personal calendar). Also when I saved an event to my phone, it didn't get synced to my personal calendar on my PC. What did I do wrong?

Thanks for your suggestions. I stumbled on a solution in the Google Community (circa 2012). I entered a new event on my phone and selected my account rather than Phone. This worked (i.e., appeared on my desktop) after syncing. Now I was able to edit my original event that wouldn't sync and changed Phone to my account name. And now the default when I add a new event is also my account.

How to merge multiple MobileMe calendars?

(1) I have several calendars on MobileMe that I want to consolidate into one calendar. How do I do that?
(2) Everytime I delete the local "calendar" it reappears when I sync my iPhone with iTunes. This presents a problem when I create a new event because that event defaults to the local calendar instead of my first MobileMe calendar. Then this new event lives on my iMac but never sync's to MobileMe.
(3) I don't want to lose any of the events I have in my different calendars during this process.
To summarize: I want to get rid of the local calendars, consolidate the MobileMe calendars into one & not lose my events. I want to end up with one MobileMe calendar for all my events (which will evenually roll over to the iCloud service). Thanks for any suggestions & help.

Use MobileMe: How to back up calendar data using MobileMe Calendar for help in backing up and restoring MobileMe calendar data.
After the data is backed up, you can then restore each calendar into one new consolidated calendar.

You appear to be using iTunes for syncing. Make sure that your iPhone is set up to use MobileMe sync: Apple - MobileMe - Set Up MobileMe.

Be sure to use iCal>File>Export...>Export for each one of your "On My Mac" calendars. The exported copies will allow you to preserve your data and import that data into a new calendar. After successful import into a new calendar you can delete the "On My Mac" calendars.

Mobileme deleted account help

I deleted my mobileme account since it was not synching my calendar with my husband's etc. I was too quick to do this, b/c after I did this I realized it erased all my events on my calendar b/c they were connected to my mobileme calendar. help!

MobileMe closed on 1 July and the contents of all accounts have now been deleted, so there is no possibilty of syncing with or retrieving data from it.
When you signed out of MobileMe you deleted the cached local copies of what was on the server. The only possibility is if you have a Time Machine backup which contains these cached copies, but even if you have you may have difficulties restoring the calendar. If you are able to restore them to appear in iCal they will be under your MobileMe login (as you can no longer log in it's possible you may not be able to get them to appear) and if they do you can move them to 'On My Mac' by following the process detailed in the second set of numbered instructions here:

(for iCloud read MobileMe throughout).
If you are able to restore the cached copies as separate .ics files they can be imported back into iCal; again this is problematic (this situation hasn't ever arisen in the past so there's no experience to call on).
If you don't have a backup then you can't retrieve your calendars.

Itunes keeps closing as soon as i open it and states 'windows has detected a problem' HELP!!!!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Subscription type calendar not syncing across to mobileme from ical - help!

i have a subscription type calendar (happens to be for remember the milk) that shows up perfectly on my ical but is not syncing out to the mobileme account and thus this cal of events from RTM does not make it to the iphone calendar
any help would be appreciated??!!

I have the exact same issue.
My iCal syncs to MobileMe and to my iPhone 3G. All sync fine. My wife's subscription to this calendar appears to be stuck in time from a week ago. I'm guessing around the time of 10.5.5. The online info is correct, but nothing gets her iCal to see it correctly. I've tried refreshing it and deleting it and re-subscribing to it, neither fixed it.
Has anyone gotten this issue fixed?

To prevent this being accidentally activated in the future go to SystemPreferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access and uncheck all the boxes.

Need help ASAP...iPhone activation problems

Today i bought two verizon iPhones from the apple store. I activated one just fine but I'm having problems with the other one. I used the upgrade for one of my lines on the account to purchase the other phone. I actually bought this for a friend who will use the iPhone on her own personal account. When I went to the apple store they "activated" the phone but didn't hook it up to the computer for iTunes or anything. Are there any steps I need to take before I give the phone to her so she can have a smooth transition in activating the phone because she lives in another state than I do? Do I have to hook the phone up to iTunes and activate it on my line or no? then switch back to old phone? Phone has never been hooked up to the computer. Need help ASAP please.

Need Help ASAP!!! So FRUSTRATING!!! text message problems!!!

I have 2 problems right now with my BB Torch 9810. I need help ASAP.
1. It only saves 20 text messages. Messages that I received from august 2012. But it seems other messages are not stored. I don't delete messages, so I don't know where my other messages go. And sometimes if you create a new text, text history will show. But not anymore. This have been going on for a long time.
2. When I receive text message from some of my contacts, it will show the first few words of the text. But when you click on it, the message is empty. funny thing is, not all of my contacts are like this.

I would suggest performing the following to resolve the issue:
1. Create a backup of all your data by using BlackBerry Desktop Software. In BlackBerry Desktop Software go to Device>Backup and save the file onto your PC or Mac.
2. On the BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone go to Options>Security>Security Wipe and put a checkmark beside 3rd party applications as well. Type in the word BlackBerry and press wipe data.
Please Note: You can re-install your applications through BlackBerry World.
3. Once completed test sending and receiving some SMS messages prior to restoring any data. If the issue is resolved, then go into BlackBerry Desktop Software and go to Device>Restore and choose custom and only choose contacts.

Calendar on iPad - Problem After Upgrading my MobileMe Calendar

I upgraded my MobileMe calendar as required by Apple and synced my iPad. Now I've lost the ability to choose which calendar an event goes into when I create a new event on my iPad. If I create an event on my iPad, I have to sync it to my Mac, move it the correct calendar in iCal, then sync it back to my iPad.

Try restarting your iPad. I use the new MM cal and don't have your problem.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
