MobileMe Galleries not showing up????

Just wondering why when I goto drag a MobileMe gallery, say a video, onto one of my pages I get a message in the box telling me to upload stuff to my gallery - even though there are tons of things already in it.. Doesn't seem to be loading them. Yes my account is linked and this worked like last week, and now it doesnt.. any insight?

You're not alone on this. Has to be a MMe server communication issue. Be sure to report it to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iweb.html and http://www.apple.com/feedback/mobileme.html
The more complaints the more pressure on Apple to get it straightened out ASAP.

Why are my mobileme galleries not showing up in the mobileme widget?

I've got this to work in the past. A few weeks back I deleted and/or changed most of my mobileme galleries. They are there, work fine, ect but in iWeb I cannot get them to show in the drop down menu for the widget!
Is this due to any ilife '11 upgrades or such?
Also...is there functionality to add screenshots to post here? I'm not seeing it!

Try the following:
1 - go to the System/MobileMe preference pane and log out of MMe.
2 - login with a bogus username and password like "test" and "test". This clears the caches.
3 - login with your correct username and password.
4 - launch iWeb and try again.
It happens every so often. More a server issue than an iWeb one.

Aperture MobileMe Galleries not showing in iWeb widget. iPhoto Gallery does

Is this a know problem? The galleries I've created in Aperture are not available to select. The iPhoto web gallery shows up immediately in the iWeb menu.

Have you set Aperture to share the Previews with the iLife apps.
Aperture -> Preferences -> Previews and check the box at 'Share Previews with iLife and iWork'.

Mobileme cals not showing in ical

i have synced all my stuff with mobileme and it is working mobileme to iphone. however, my calendars are not showing in ical. i thought that the mobileme cals would be listed in ical but its not happening. i have tried many times to resync etc but cannot get them to show in ical.

Have you upgraded to the new MobilMe calendar? If not you should have as the old syncing method will be turned off tomorrow. Settings in System Preferences>MobileMe>Sync are no longer relevant to the calendar.

Web galleries not showing up

Anyone having problem since the updates with Iweb not seeing posted web galleries?
I can access them, but they doe not show up the the insert .mac web gallery area anymore.

Are you referring to web galleries created by iPhoto? Try opening the iPhoto Library package like this and move the AlbumData.xml file to the desktop and relaunch iPhoto. Launch iWeb and try again. Also make sure they are not password protected.

MobileMe acct not showing up in Mail

hi all - yesterday i got a new iPhone 4 and synced everything from my 3GS. no problem.
this morning i noticed that my mobile me account was not on the e-mail list (i have a few other gmail accounts). i'm not sure if it was on last night, i was too busy enjoying FaceTime i checked and it seemed like it wasn't on. so i deleted it, and then added it again on the iPhone. it's on the settings (under mail and contacts) list, but when i go into Mail, no MobileMe account is showing.
i thought maybe it was the SMTP server, so i went back into mail & contacts settings. this time i was puzzled when i saw that there was no SMTP info listed? i checked my gmail accounts and all of them showed the SMTP info - just not the one with MobileMe. i've tried restarting but no luck.
i've never had any problem with MobileMe acct on my 3GS. help, please? thank you!

I figured out what was wrong. The change I made in System Preferences/Mobile Me wasn't saved. You'd think I would remember that step.

MobileMe Galleries not posting edits

I am posting edited images into a MobileMe Gallery from Aperture 3.
When I have created a gallery from scratch or am drag-and-dropping additional images, they edited images are not posting, but the unedited masters.
They edited images are in .TIFF format. Will .TIFFs not post to MobileMe?

What you have to do is publish at least one photo from Aperture using the MobileMe icon. Then you'll need to go to me.com and sign in. Go to your MobileMe galleries and select one of the albums by clicking on it once. There are a few icons along the top-center of the browser window. The icon that looks like a pair of sliders (some people say light switches) is the settings icon.
Click on that icon and choose Aperture for the "Syncs with" setting.
You will have to do that with any of the albums that you want to sync with Aperture.

MobileMe calendar not showing on iPhone 4 (4.0.1)

In Calendar on my iPhone 4, my MobileMe calendar is not showing up. It was, up until recently, working fine, but I did a Restore (as a new phone) and when I re-added my MobileMe account, the calendar won't show up at all.
My mail, contacts, notes, etc, are fine, and if I go into settings it definitely says Calendar is "On". I tried turning it off, choose "Delete from iPhone", then turn it back on, no luck. I tried removing my MobileMe account and re-adding, no luck.
My other calendars (Subscribition to my g/f's MobileMe calendar, Birthdays, Exchange, etc), are showing fine.
If I go to: https://www.me.com/calendar/beta/, my MobileMe calendar entries show fine.

I got a chance to look at it on a PC. Totally hosed up. It loads incorrectly then parts of it go blank.
I have a site that is based very much on one of the built-in templates and it works fine on the same PC. It contains only text boxes, image placeholders, and images with "picture frame" borders. Nothing fancy, no overlays, no extra code or anything. I haven't looked much at the other templates so I don't know if yours is mostly a template or how much you may have modified one or what tricks you may have done to get the look you wanted. Whatever it is, IE does not like it. Unfortunately, you can't really ignore them as was suggested; they make up a large part of your audience.

Help, Aperture web galleries not showing up on iWeb insert menu!

All of my iPhoto web galleries show up fine on the Insert menu (Insert > .Mac web gallery) for placement in a web page. None of the galleries created in Aperture show up. They all exist fine on the gallery page. This is very annoying

Yes, I have seen your name come up a lot in these posts. It seems it's just a total oversight on the part of Apple. I'm sure the issue lies with iWeb and not Aperture. There must be some list to look up and iWeb just fails to look in more than one place. Lets hope there is a +0.0.1 update soon.

MobileMe folders not showing up in Mail

I have created two folders in MobileMe to save email in. They are showing up on my iPhone and my iPad, but not in Mail. My me.com email address is set up as an IMAP account but isn't showing up like my Gmail IMAP account does in Mail with its own set of folders, etc. Any idea what I need to do to make this work in Mail? My me.com email comes into Mail in the Inbox so at least I can read it from Mail, but I have to leave it in the Inbox if I want to see it online or on my iPhone or iPad.

Photo Galleries not showing

Hey guys! I need help. I have created a gallery page with some photo galleries, but i cant see the albums in internet. But if i open the html on my home macbook i can see the albums!

I am having a simular problem that only affects some people viewing my website. Problem as follows:
I have a website created in the latest iWeb on the latest OS X + Updates that has been uploaded to my .Mac account.
I have had a number of people (friends) ring me up to say that when they look at any of the Photo Gallery Pages there are no image displayed.
But when I have checked it on my computor (G5 Tower - G4 Powerbook - Mac Mini) using Safari or FireFox or Camino I don't have any problems viewing the problem pages.
I have asked a couple of other friend who seem to be able to see the pages ok (Using Safari on a Mac or Explorer on a PC) while the people who are having problems still can't see the photos.
I am at a bit of a lose as to why this is;

MobileMe gallery not showing in iweb

Hi,
I seem to be having problems with the mobileme widget in Iweb.
I created a new album for my web page and when i pull the widget into iweb - it is only recognising one album. I have logged in and out of mobile me...iweb...tried the various suggestions from other forums and nothing seems to work...very frustrating.
I went onto the mobileme apple support where i thought there was 24/7 live support - but after trawling through different pages - couldn't find the option that would allow for live chat...not sure if that has been withdrawn now...but have not been impressed by how difficult it has been to get help by apple on this.

IWeb Photo Galleries not showing up

I am having a few problems with my website...

I'm having problems with that page using Safari 4. When i first go to it I see 4 galleries. But if I visit a gallery and then go back to the index I only get two displayed. And which two changes depending on which gallery I'm coming from.
Have you used an HTML snippet to remove the slideshow option from the gallery? Just a quess but that may be what is causing problems both for me and for PCs.

Personal domain hosted at MobileMe - but not showing up.

Here's the problem. Several days ago, I transferred my domain to MobileMe and changed the CNAME info at Network Solutions (my domain registrar). But for some reason, when I visit:
www.barrycooper.com
I'm still getting the Network Solutions "under construction" page, rather than my iWeb site. When I checked Network Solutions, I note that only the CNAME alias has changed (to web.me.com.barrycooper.com). The IP Address fields all point to the under construction page.
Any idea what I might have done wrong here?

Firstly, you have not transferred your domain to MobileMe - Apple does not host domain names, only websites, so you domain name registrar still controls your domain name - i.e. Network Solutions - Apple just host your site and not your domain name.
What you decided to do was to link the two, so you have forwarded your domain to your MME hosted website.
To get it to work, you need to log into your MobileMe account and enter your domain name under the personal domain name settings.
You then need to go to Network Solutions and select your DNS settings. The alias for your CNAME should be your domain name - www and @ and then this should be forwarded to your host web.me.com. What you have there at present is incorrect so it will not work. Go and change these settings and it should work.
