MobileMe not showing email body?

Fore some reason whenever I get a new mail notification from MobileMe it just has the TO and FROM, no email body! How do I fix this?

I'm getting this same problem. Someone please help us...

Yahoo mail will not show the body of an email. It works in Internet Explorer so I know it's not the Yahoo mail itself.

Well it depends on what webmail client you're using. If you're using yahoo, then there is no way to do it. I asked them a couple of years ago and they replied back that they had no plans in the future for the option embed a picture in their mail. if you're using Hotmail, there is a program called Live Mail Client that will let you embed a picture in your email but it's only for Windows. Maybe in the Future they will build one for Mac OS's. Not sure about Gmail.

Content coming as .txt attachment along with email but not in email body

Hi,
I have a proxy to email scenario. The requirement is to generate an excel sheet and keep it as an attachment and send it to user through email.
I am able to get the excel sheet as an attachment in email but the content of email is also coming as attachment which I do not want.
Problem area :

The Content should come in Email body but it is coming as .txt attachment in email. The email body is blank.
Can someone help as how I can get the content in email body.?

Nokia 5530 HomeScreen issue - not showing email no...

Hi All,
I have just bought Nokia 5530 XM and it was working fine previously but just got an issue yesterday that it is not showing the email notification on the home screen, just showing the empty bar on the place of the email notification and when i tap on it, nothing happens. I tried to find out but cant find anything in the settings etc...
I have updated the software also but nothing happened. Can anyone assist me in this regard please, What can i do now?

Hi guys, if you people have a problem of home screen freezing in nokia 5530 xpress music or a music player controls or dialer is no working evern you tab to screen then RElax be calm here is the solution…….
Steps
1) Backup you device.
2) Go to the home screen and hit main menu key. It will show you a menu.
3) Now Tab the answering (Green) Button which will automatically pop up a dialer. HA haha.
4) type *#7370# and phone will ask you to restore original factory settings?
5) Say Yes and phone will restart with default company setting. And check everything will running absolutely as you were using earlier.
6) Restor the backup and done…….

Reasons IMAP email account might not show emails?

I'm working with an IMAP email account (provided by Network Solutions) and while Mail seems to be accepting all of the account information (username, login, etc.), nothing is showing up in the inbox. Outbound works fine, but inbound is empty. When I check the webmail interface, there is mail in the inbox... it is just not showing up in Apple Mail.
Any ideas?

I've been having these same symptoms for some time now:
- Standard IMAP account
- iPhone Mail / iPad Mail / OSX Sparrow / iPhone Sparrow / Thunderbird / Web interface all see messages in the inbox
- Apple Mail app does not see any messages
I found a solution that works for me. Look through all the folders in your IMAP account. You should have only one INBOX folder, the main one. If you have any others called "Inbox", move the mail out of them and delete the folders. Beware that you are deleting the phantom Inbox folders and not the real one. This solved the issue for me. For instance I had a folder called "Inbox.Trash" that was separate to the main INBOX folder.
I had to use OSX Sparrow to do this maintenance, I couldn't find any other tool that would give me such control over the folder structure. Preferences -> Organise -> Folders

Ipad does not show email from only one sender

I have my outlook.com email address setup to come to my Ipad. I have noticed over the roughly year that I have had it that email messages from one particluar sender does not show up on the Ipad. All other emails come thorugh fine it is just this one sender, which I receive email from on a regular basis. Any thoughts on cause or remedy for this? I have added the sender to my contacts list,checked the junk file, deleted and reintalled the email account all with no luck.

If they are not being received by the server, then this is not a Thunderbird problem. So, first you need to determine if your server is receiving the emails.
Logon to your webmail account using a browser, are those emails shown in the webmail account?
Are they in the webmail Inbox folder or another folder - check the spam folder?
Do you use an IMAP or Pop mail account?
If the emails are not in webmail account, then Thunderbird cannot see them.
If the server is not receiving the emails, then check that the sender is actually using your correct email address.

"Send to MobileMe" not showing

I have an Italian iPhone 3G with 2.0.1 and mobileme set up (I also have an IMAP e-mail account configured, because I don't use the @me.com address)
The problem is that in "Photos", when I open a photo and tap on send, the "Send to MobileMe" option is missing, I can only see use as wallpaper, email and assign to contact
I already have an album with at least one photo in my MobileMe account, set up to permit iPhone upload

i use @mac.com for my mobile me account also (i prefer .mac to mobile me as a domain name).
Are using an @mac.com email account? when it sends the picture to mobile me, it actually emails the photo TO mobileme in the email program, it doesnt directly upload it. maybe you have to setup your mobileme/.Mac email on your phone for this feature to appear?
also: although i had mobile me enabled, and i had galleries made, i couldnt see any galleries if they had a password on it. it seems that you cant send a photo to a mobileme gallery with a password even if it is setup to accept uploads by email....

Mail not showing emails with attachments

Mail doesn't show/download emails with pdf attachments, although I can see the emails and attachments on my iphone no problem. The whole email is missing, not just the attachment.
Please help as this means I sometimes miss important emails, and well as the inconvenience of only being able to access the email and attachment from my phone

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Pictures do not show in body of message using hotmail. They are there when I use IE, but not firefox

In many Hotmail messages, I do not see pictures that are sent in the body of text. Don't have them as attachedments either. The pictures DO appear in same messages when I use Internet Explorer. - This is on my Win7 PC. On my older machine running WixXP the pictures do show up using firefox.

I actually did one other thing I hadn't done yet....I had opened the "Add-ons" section of Firefox, noticed there was an add-on I actually never placed there, called something like "Shopanywhere.com" I believe. Once I disabled it, restarted Firefox, reopened the Add-ons, and then removed it. Restarted Firefox once more, now the ads are gone completely. Did another clean sweep with my 3 awesome adware/virus protection programs and have no more issues. Thanks for the help!

PeoplePicker not showing email address after i have added it in Manage User Profiles - Non AD Environment

I have added an email address to a user in the SP Manage User Profile.
When I go to my app and search/select the user to assign against a task, no email address is shown in the peoplepicker window.
One thing, the users Display Name as "Server\Username" rather than the Display Name of Bob Smith for example.
This is a non Active Directory Environment on SharePoint 2010.
Can anyone help?

People picker does not query the User Profile Service when resolving a name. You need a custom claims provider for that. See details here:

There is a timer job (user profile service quick sync) that runs every 15 minutes or maybe 10 minutes, don't remember the interval without looking, against the site collection that will sync from the UPS, but you are stuck with whatever is in site collection
users until then, which will be nothing until the user profile service quick sync job runs.

Apple Mail 8.0 does not display email body for local folders

Last week I upgraded to Yosemite on a 2013 Mac Air. The upgrade went smoothly, but now I notice that all my mail on my local folders (i.e., not my gmail account) is missing the content of the message. New mail filed after the upgrade displays fine and messages filed prior to the upgrade that were sent from me, display fine, but all mail received and filed before the upgrade is blank except for the header. I tried to move a message thinking it might force Mail to identify a problem...and it does. It gives me the message "The message '<MESSAGE TITLE>' could not be moved to the mailbox '<DESTINATION FOLDER>'. Couldn't load body for <MFLibraryMessage:0x600000584780, library id:2172 conversationID:1224 mailbox:2010 <SOURCE FOLDER>"
I have scoured the web for solutions, and there are similar symptoms regarding Apple Mail and IMAP accounts, but my IMAP mailboxes display fine.
I made a TimeMachine back up before the upgrade, so I could restore the old OSX (Mountain Lion) and try again, but I'd love to find an easier solution.

ok now I found a solution:
Navigate to the folder which contains the local mailboxes as MBOX-Files. ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes/
Locate the MBOX-file which contains the messages which are not displayed.
In my case I tried to access mails from "Empfangen" and "Gesendet" so I copied over those two MBOX-files to the desktop.
Now go to mail.app and select import message box
In the following context menu select "import files from Apple Mail" (cuz Apple Mail MBOX-files are not standard MBOX format)
Import the content.
After import drag your messages from the imported folder to the original folder.
done!
I hope that helps someone who has the same problem.

I've been trying to upload my website through MobileMe with a personal domain. In iWeb, every time I go to it, it says that I'm not logged into Mobileme. I've gone to my system preferences multiple times, logged out, and logged back in. It still says that I'm not signed in. Any help, please? Thanks in advance.

Try logging out and then logging in with a garbage name & password. After it has been rejected, try logging in with your real name & password.

Ipad2 not showing email messages

Hi
Have added my husband's email account to ipad2 but messages that are in his inbox on the PC are missing on iPad
I sent him a test email message which appeared on the PC but not on iPad
plusnet told me to change settings on PC to " keep mails on the server" and to do same on iPad
I have done this on PC but do not know to on iPad
I do not want to have the delete account as it took me 2 hours to add it
Please help with simple step to step guide

IOS7 does not show emails that are redirected to subfolders

Many of my emails are automatically redirected to subfolders in Outlook. With iOS 7 redirected emails are not visible without looking in each subfolder. Anyone know how to fix that?

Are both the IPHONE and Outlook Express 6 using the same username? It seems to me that maybe the username you are using in Outlook is not the same in your Iphone
