Mocha AE CS6 - Splines not showing so tracking is unavailable

It always seems to be me that has issues with every project he works on. Typical. So, as expected, I'm having issues with my latest project, and the client needs the completed film back fairly soon, so I'm running out of time.
My issue, is that in AE, I have a 2K project linked from a Premiere Pro project. I needed to track some of the footage in Mocha, but since it's an .R3D file, I decided to export a proxy that's a JPEG sequence, just to track in Mocha. The sequence loads inside of Mocha, and I can scrub through the timeline without any issues. HOWEVER, I can't actually track any of the footage. At all. When I click to create a new X Spline layer, and try to add my points on the footage, nothing happens. A layer is created in the let hand box, but nothing shows on the surface and I can't access the tracking options to track forwards or backwards.
As I said, the client is expecting the shots very soon, so I need to resolve this and move on to the next shot ASAP!
Thanks in advance

.r3d files are not among the supported file types for the version of mocha that came with After Effects CS6 (11.0). This was added in the version that came with After Effects CC (12.0):

  • IPod Nano directory does not show loaded tracks

I have a 7th Gen iPod Nano that was formatted by iTunes for Windows 7 that does not show the tracks loaded on it once it is ejected. Apple has replaced the Nano twice with no change. Working with AppleCare Support I have removed iTunes and everything else from Apple several times in accordance with the "Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8" Knowledge Base article. We tried various cables and different USB ports but they made no difference. In between each removal I have run CCleaner's registry search and cleanup tool and restarted the computer. Windows 7 is and has been up to date and the version of iTunes has always been the latest. iTunes will recognize the Nano and I can load playlists on it but once I eject it and select the music icon it says that there is no music loaded. When I check to see if the iPod knows that there is anything loaded it shows that there is something loaded by virtue of the fact that it shows the same amount of free space as iTunes did just before it was ejected. I have spent a couple of weeks chasing this problem with the AppleCare Support Team in Cupertino and we are all stumped.
I do not have any problems when I connect my iPod Classic to the same computer and load tracks on it.
All of the Nano's that have experienced this problem have worked fine when restored on my Mac.
The original Nano worked fine with this Windows 7 computer for about 9 months and then started saying that it needed to be restored every time it was connected even if it had just been restored. That problem brought about the first replacement of the Nano. After all of our efforts the AppleCare Support Team suggested that we replace the Nano again so that is what we did this week with no resolution of the problem.
Does anyone know of any Windows software that is known to create problems with iTunes?
I had not connected a Nano to the computer for about 2 months before I started having problems so I have no way of determining what might have been installed that caused this problem. This is a company computer and all software installations and updates are controlled by our IT Dept. iTunes is supported by the company due to the fact that our IT Dept. personnel and senior management have company iPhones and some iPads. We did connect the Nano to one of the IT computers and it was recognized and iTunes was able to see the tracks loaded but there was nothing available once it was ejected.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    1. Shouldn't you be posting on the Nano Section?
    2. UPDATE your iTUNES

  • Photoshop CS6 is not showing any network drives within windows 8.1.

Photoshop CS6 is not showing any network drives within windows 8.1, I can only browse the local disk for files. Please advise?
And when i try opening a file directly from the network, photoshop starts but does not open the selected file?

The dialog you show there looks like it may be a CS6 open dialog running on windows 8.1 that is showing what is local.  Network is not highlighted selected.
Here is a CC Open one windows 7 pro showing  areas of what is accessible.

  • Cs6 bridge not showing thumbnails for raw file

    Just upgraded to CS6
cs6 bridge not showing thumbnails for raw files.
Can see thumbnails in CS5.1 bridge  and LR 4.2 which fortunately i did not uninstall.
Bummer since I am up against a hard deadline.
    Really Sucks

We can't know. You are not offering any system information or e.g. info about what image files you are working with. Since they do show up in your otehr programs, my assumption would be that you need to switch the Camera Raw engine back to the 2009/2010 version in Photoshop and not use the default new 2012 one. Perhaps your thumbnails will appear then....

make sure you're using the same adobe id to check your account as the adobe id used to register your software.  also, you should have a copy of your serial number(s) secured locally.  and, for extra comfort, you should have a copy of your installation files,

  • Email in CRM but not showing as tracked in Outlook

    Hi
Do others come across this where people try and track an email in Outlook but find it's already in crm but the 'Track in CRM' button and icon in Outlook do not show this fact. Is there anything that can be done about this?
    Thanks

    Hi cocacolamaster7,
I regret that the light has gone out again.
Perhaps it decided the  Colossus was lonely after all.
All kidding aside now, did you test and calibrate the battery?  If so and all tested well and your battery life is as expected, it could just be a loose connection or the light itself is defective.  It may be incidental that the bios update occured at the same time this happened.

  • Recent edits in CS6 are not showing in iPhoto?

I am "editing in external editor" from iPhoto then editing in CS6 and saving as usual but the edit is not showing in iPhoto?

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS.  So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
    - History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
    - Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

  • CS6 beta not showing in Win7 "Programs & Features"; Can't uninstall

Trying to uninstall PS CS6 beta - but it is not showing in Programs and Features. Have scanned the Registry and there ARE references to PS CS 6 there...
Is there any way to 'unhide' it or other way to remove the program?

I'm sorry to ask a patently obvious question, but you did look up near the top, in the A section, right?

  • Audition CS6 files not showing in PPro

From PPro, I did the "Edit...Edit in Adobe Audition...Sequence" command. This opened the all the clip audio files as a group in Audition as expected. Got done with editing in Audition, saved projected in Audition via "File...Save" command.
Go back to PPro (which has been open the whole time). Nothing. Not a trace of change. Not anywhere I can find.
    1) What is supposed to happen? I thought I'd see the newly edited audio files in the project panel, and the newly edited audio file on the timeline. But, what am I supposed to see?
    2) If I'm supposed to get files in PPro from this operation, and I didn't, what did I do wrong? Said another way, are there any tutorials out there that illustrate the correct way to do this PPro -> Audition -> PPro dance?
    3) At this stage, I suppose my path forward is just to export the project from Audition into PPro manually via the "Multitrack...Export to Adobe Premiere Pro" command. Is there a better way?

If you R click on the sequence name in the Project panel in Premiere and select Edit in Adobe Audition > Sequence, a set of .wav files (one for each clip in the sequence) called  "{file name} Extracted.wav" is created in a folder which has the name of the sequence, and is located within the folder which contains the video clips.
What i do is Edit my clips and save each one.
Now go back to Premiere and import the edited files.  You will have to place them on the Sequence.  I usually place them on Track 2, leaving the original audio on track 1, and turn this off to mute it.
I have never used the AA Export back to PPro command.
Oddly, if you do this for individual files, you do not have to import the extracted files, the file appears in the Premiere Project Panel as soon as you click Edit in AA.
    This is worth looking at:
    http://www.video2brain.com/en/lessons/editing-audio-with-adobe-audition
It is for CS5.5, but it looks as though the adding the edit tonew Audio tracks has gone in CS6.  It is replaced by a command in Premiere which appears when you have sent the session back to Premiere.

  • CS6: Fonts not showing up in Indesign or other adobe programs

There are missing fonts in several of our files due to moving our marketing inhouse.
I have installed the Avenir complete font family into C:\Windows\Fonts and a lot of them aren't showing up in InDesign or the other Adobe programs.
    After looking at some other forums I followed the instructions to place them into;
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS6\Fonts
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
    STILL The only fonts showing up are;
    Avenir 35 Light
    Avenir 45 Book
    Avenir 55 Roman
    Avenir 65 Medium
We have already been using this font for all our printing so changing is not an option.
Could someone give me some other suggestions?

Have you rebooted? What format is the font? Does it show correctly in any applications?

  • Enhanced Podcast Not Showing Podcast Track

I created a number of enhanced podcasts using Garageband 09. All of them display the podcast track (artwork) just fine in iTunes. Only some of them display correctly in QuickTime. I was using QT to export them as 3gp files, but some of them show audio only. The one's that show correctly list both AAC, stereo and Apple Photo JPEG in the movie inspector info. Those that don't show correctly (audio only) only have AAC stereo info in the movie inspector. They were created with identical processes via Garageband 09. Any ideas?

I had forgotten that these files were actually duplicates made in iTunes. In iTunes I had a bunch of enhanced podcast files on a particular album. I needed to use some of the files on a different album I was creating. I attempted to not alter the first album by selecting the create AAC version under the Advanced menu. I took the newly created podcasts and did a mass information change to the new album name. It was in this process that the JPEG was lost.

  • CS6 Panels not showing up

I can create panels for CS5.5 and they show up in the extensions, but when I try to make them for CS6 they just don't show up. I am putting them in the CS6 Photoshop>PlugIns>Panels folder and I am making them as CS6 in Configurator.
Not sure what the problem is. Any help would be much appreciated

Do you still have gpc file of your panel created by Configurator 2.0? If you have, you need to install Configurator 3 and open this gpc file with Configurator 3, and then export the panel in Configurator 3. If you open this gpc file with Configurator 3, Configurator will ask you to migrate the panel from Configurator 2.0 file to 3.0 format, and if convert to CS6. You should select "Convert to CS6" and click "Yes".
The panel created for Photoshop CS5/CS5.1 cannot be used by Photoshop CS6 directly. You need to convert it with Configurator 3. Configurator 3 can be downloaded from Adobe Labs.

  • Producer Drum elements not showing in tracks.

Maybe not a big deal but when I set up a Producer Drum Kit in Logic the separate channel strip for each different mic appears in the mixer but they don't show up in the tracks and regions. Maybe they don't need to but I just wondered if I could get them up there too.

Just click the arrow/triangle  in the track header(next to the picture of the drum kit) and it will reveal all those same lanes from the mixer.

  • My iPod does not show all tracks when browsing by artist!

I have recently noticed how by iPod isnt showing all the songs when browsing by artist. I have only discovered this problem with one of my artist, but am not sure that the problem occurs elsewhere. The thing is that i have got around 20 tracks performed by this one artist. About 10 of these tracks are from the same album and the rest of the tracks are without album information. So everytime i enter this artist on my iPod, only the tracks from this album is shown. Hence, the tracks without any album details are not to be found under this artist! However, these songs can stil be found when browsing by genre, songs or the like. So obviously they are all on my iPod, but for some reason only the tracks from the mentioned album are to be found when entering the artist.
What can the problem be and how can it be fixed?
    Thanks for your help,
    Best regards...

There are usually two things that contribute to songs not appearing under Artist on the iPod, both due to information either in or missing from the Get Info>Info tab against the song in iTunes. 1) the song has no album name associated with it or 2) the song is marked as part of a compilation.
If tracks are missing an Album name in the Info tab, this information needs to be filled in. The no album one is a bit quirky as the songs will appear under certain circumstances but the simplest remedy is just add None or Miscellaneous to all the blanks in place of a title. See this link for more detail: I don't see some of my songs when browsing by artist on my iPod
Also if the tracks are ticked in the Get Info>Info tab as part of a compilation, they may not appear under Artist on the iPod. Highlight a song in iTunes that you know is not appearing correctly on your iPod. Right click on it and choose Get Info and click the Info tab (alternatively choose Get Info from the File menu), if "Part of a Compilation" is marked untick it and afterwards update your iPod, you should find it now appears as normal. Compilations are stored in a separate folder in iTunes so the songs don't appear inside the normal Artist>Album folder.
