Mocha Pro Work With AE

Can "Mocha Pro" work with After Effect???  I know Mocha AE can work with After Effect...but can Mocha Pro???
Can anyone tell me please.....

Sure - mocha Pro will work with any version of AE, all the way back to CS3.
You can either launch mocha Pro as a stand alone app or you can set mocha Pro to launch from AE>Animation menu>Track in mocha. To do this change your user preference in mocha Pro.
mocha Pro can export to AE: 2D Planar Tracking, 3D Camera Tracking, Roto masks and Lens distortion.

  • How will an external Hard drive designed for the macbook Pro work with my White Macbook?  My  white macbook has a Firewire 400 and the G-Tech HD has a 800 to 400 compatible cable for the firewire.

I am asking this because I want the G-Tech Hard drive  says that it is designed for the macbook pro.  Yet, I want to back up faster with by using my firewire 400 which is not an option on the one designed for the white macbook that does not have a firewire (only a USB port.)  The G-Tech Hard drive comes with the 800 to 400 compatible cable and has 5400 RPM with 750 GB.  Also, I've heard that laptops with low battery (mine all the time)  won't have the power for a bus powered Hard drive (as in no ac plug in adaptor.)  Can I just plug in my laptop?  Any one know the answers from experience with this hard drive?

As far as I know, if a harddrive works with a Macpro, it should work with the Macbook: if your Macbook is low on power, plug in the AC adapter
If your Macbook has a firewire port, then it should be fine. BUt i would do somemore research first.

  • Decklink Intensity Pro works with CS 5.5 on PC

I just wanted to update folks that I just installed a decklink Intensity Pro into my PC, and have good success with the card.
I have a red bar over the footage, but I have tested 4 layers, with FX in realtime and it looked and played pretty well.
The decklink speed test showed my sustained read over 250mbps and the sustained write about the same. That's with only 2 X 3TB drives with 64mb of RAM cache, raided using the on board 6GBPS raid solution.
I now have a 4 monitor solution, using the NVidia GTX570 and the GT520 running one monitor.
I'm really happy with my decision to move from FCP to Adobe, and from Mac to PC.
Did you notice Apple didn't talk about any new Towers or computers in todays anouncements. More emphasis on what the iPad can do!!!
Apple out of the game. Some folks just can't accept this.
    Happy day for me!!!

In the link you posted it states that the Nikon 810 requires ACR 8.6 or newer.
Version of ACR are specific to versions of Photoshop. You cannot use 8.6 nor even 7.0.in CS5.
I believe that ACR 6.7 is the latest that will work with CS5, so make sure you have this installed and get rid of ACR 7.
Having 2 versions of ACR will cause problems.
You have already downloaded DNG Converter 8.7.1.
Have you double clicked the DMG file to allow you to install DNG Converter on your computer?
Be aware that DNG converter is a stand-along application and not a plug-in.
You need to open DNG converter at select the FOLDER that contain your .NEF files.
Don't open the folder and try to select individual files, it doesn't work that way.
After converting your D810 files to DNGs you can then open the DNGs in CS5
The problem is your camera didn't exist when CS5 & its version of ACR was developed.
i don't use Lightroom, but the list mentions Lightroom 5.6 as needed to open D819 so your 3.6 version of LR won't cut it.

  • Why doesn't the track pad zoom feature on my Macbook Pro work with the newest version of Firefoz?

The track pad zoom feature doesn't work with the latest version of Firefox. It did on the previous version. I used to use Firefox as my default browser, but no longer use it very much due to the incompatibility of this version on my Macbook Pro.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    browser.gesture.pinch.in -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReduce</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out -> <b>cmd_fullZoomEnlarge</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> <b>false</b>
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.

  • 15 McaBook Pro working with 23" ACD

Hi All, I posted a similar post several months ago, but got no response.
I am a photographer, and I have a 15" MacBook Pro 2.2 Core Duo/4GB Ram and I love it!! A truly great machine. But there is a huge difference in the look of the 15" LED screen compared to my 23" display? I'm trying to get them closer.
I run my MBP in 'dual monitor' mode, so I am seeing the same images side by side.
Is there just some 'trick' to getting the dynamic range, and the color saturation out of the 15" LED screen so it compares to the 23" ACD. Currently, I wouldn't trust my MPB to edit color images on. Understand, I'm not saying the colors are 'off', there just not as 'on' as the 23" ACD.
I hardware calibrate both monitors at the same time, using the same hardware system. They are calibrated to 6500K 2.2 gamma. And pretty much, anyone who looks at the MBP 15" by itself, says it looks "great!!". But, compared to the ACD 23" in side by side, it's dramatically different in overall richness and dynamic range, and in particular the color saturation. And this is true when simply sliding an image from one screen to the other. Or even with the look of the basic colored folders in 'Column view'.
So how do I get that Cinema Display 'look' from the 15" LED technology? Is it remotely even possible, to get it closer?
Or, is it simply just not to be?
Other forums have discussed the technical reasons why. One poster suggested adjusting the contrast on my MBP, and told me the keyboard shortcuts. But it adjusts the contrast on the 23" display at the same time. Is there a way to adjust the contrast and/or saturation on the MBP without the 23" ACD being affected. Obviously, the system allows for separate profiles and calibration. Along with 'brightness' adjustments. I would like to adjust the contrast and saturation as well.
Thanks for your suggestions and help.
    -Sol
    Sol

    Thanks for the feedback.
Newer technology or not, the MBP LED screen just doesn't hold up to the ACD 23". Less contrast. less saturation, and some colors are just off a bit. And unfortunately, being that I'm a photographer, being off 'just a bit', just doesn't cut it.
For example, reds on my ACD, such as the color of an apple, has a definite although slight, orange cast to it, more of a fire-engine red. Not dramatic, but obviously wrong when you doing color editing for photos, in particular portraits and skin tones.
So back to my original question. I'm hoping someone here has the Guru calibration insight for working with two monitors.
When calibrating the two monitors, MacBook Pro 15" and Apple 23" Cinema Display, using a hardware calibration system, the Apple System preferences give you two color-calibration dialog boxes. One on each screen. You can adjust 'Brightness" individually on each screen as you calibrate, but not the 'Contrast'. Now by using the keyboard 'shortcut' of Controloption+command'comma' or 'period' you can adjust the contrast up and down. But, it adjusts both monitors at once. My ACD does not need the extra contrast. Which means currently, I can't use it.
So, can the MBP be adjusted separately? Since the ACD adjusts with the MBP, when they're connected together, I would assume that the ACD would be affected by this adjustment even if it wasn't connected. As in, the new 'Contrast' setting would apply to the ACD when re-connecting it to the newly adjusted MBP.
There are no visual indicators of the 'Contrast' level, as in numeric, or bars (like the 'Brightness' has), so it's hard to tell 'exactly' where your at with the 'Contrast' levels.
And finally, if I adjust this keyboard 'Contrast' control, is it possible to reset it to factory afterwards (just in case)?
Bottom line is my ACD 23" looks fantastic, and I don't want to screw it up in the process.
    Thanks

  • How is MacBook Pro working with Appleworks, Final Cut Express, etc?

    Hi,
Many thanks in advance for your attention.
I've heard Applications in iLife work with MacBook Pro great.
    Anyone have any problems with
    1. Appleworks?
    2. Final Cut Express?
    3. Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac?
Anything else about this new system one should look out for, be aware of?
    - Ross

    Ross,
I can only respond regarding Office 2004. So far, Entourage works great and I've had no problems. Same with Word. PowerPoint is a little slow, but it was on my PB too. I hardly ever use Excel, but, I am sent Excel files all day long and opening them and getting around them seems to have no issues.
In general, I think that Office will be better as a Universal App (whenever?) but it is "okay" now.

  • Audigy 2 ZS Platunum Pro (working with vista x64 beta

Just posting to let all you people know the Audigy 2 ZS does actualy work with vista beta 2 64bit the drivers them self do not work nor do any of the others but if you play around with them for a few hours (not using this work around which sucks) you can get them to work.
All I used was the drivers for XP 64bit and the Beta drivers with the XP drivers in first then uninstalled then put the new drivers in after.
Problem is for now they only work in stereo, though the breakout box does work with the voilume and such.
So dont give up sound will come from your audigy 2 zs just not very easly :P
EDIT: Well it seems that most people know this now, anyone got a sound way to get 5. working?Message Edited by Cafuddled on 06--2006 :2 AM

I would like to add my two cents to this. I had an RM-500 which stopped working after a while. My MCE IR receiver seemed to pick up an infra-red signal from the thing but the dri've bay didn't respond.
I then tried an older RM-900 from an old Audigy installation and that worked perfectly with the dri've bay. So in my case, the RM-500 was dead ( the battery was ok ).

  • Will Dell Venue 8 Pro work with photoshop?

I was think about buy Dell Venue 8 Pro, but I want to use photoshop CC as sketchbook on my new-to-be portable tablet. I want use it on the go and in bed...
I don't plan to use tablet as final look.
    Will it work?
If you have used it.. How was it platform?
Because I already own firepro desktop that work very well with photoshop CC with too many layer.. ( and zbrush - up to 16 million polygon per sub-tool hee hee)
So I can finish off the job on desktop after tablet.

For those that find this post...yes, Photoshop CC does work extremely well on Dell Venue Pro 8. The only compromise is screen real estate--but aside from a few panel tweaks--everything is fine and surprisingly useable. We ran Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 on a DVP8 and compared it with a Mac Book Pro 2013--the DVP8 (32gig Version) was more responsive and extremely fast (though rendering required by After Effects not recommended DVP8). Make sure to get a Sandisk 64 MicroSDXC (http://amzn.to/1wtydtu)--and the tablet rocks. The programs I use frequently on Dell Venue 8 Pro are: Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Indesign, Muse, Lightroom, Story, Audition and Media Encoder. While we have tried Premiere (projects and media on a USB 3.0 connected external)--some rendering processes were compromised--but not uneusable.

  • Will my mid 2010  macbook pro work with a dell monitor

I need to buy an external display for my MacBook Pro (mid 2010).  I'm considering a dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-inch.  Will this be compatitble?  I tried a ViewSonic and couldn't get my Mac to play nice re: resolution.  Will I have any better luck with the Dell?  (And yes, if I could afford it, I'd replace my Apple Cinema display in a heartbeat, but that stays at work and I must go...)  thankyou!

I think it will work.  You would need a mini displayport to (single link) DVI adapter to hook up that monitor.
Not sure what kind of problems you had with the ViewSonic but I'm guessing the Dell is probably a better monitor anyhow.

  • Which processor to choose for Final Cut Pro working with files from DSLR?

I am shooting in hd with Canon Eos 5d MK II and another camera the Panasonic HDC sd700.
I am considering upgrading my Mac to either a stationary Mac Pro or an Imac 27 inch (which is a bit more flexible).
1.) How much difference in performance of FCP between the 2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" and the 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 (the latter installed in the Imac)??????
2.) How much need is there for external esata drives which I can get with the Mac Pro option in regard to performance needs in comparison with the slower FW800 I get with the Imac? Is this crucial? Will FW 800 external drives be to slow?
I am thinking of installing 8GB of ram if I go for the Imac and 6GB of ram if I go for the Mac Pro.

A point to remember Motion uses the RAM on the graphics card for rendering not the machine RAM .. I have also read that while FCP is still 32bit it can only access something like 4 / 6Gb RAM at a time .. so as a previous post says you can always add more RAM and more HDDs in a MAC Pro .. indeed it is a breeze to upgrade a graphics card too .. I have both a MAC Pro and an i7 iMAC I never use the iMAC for FCS work .. it is powerful enough but Geekbench (free benchmark tool http://www.primatelabs.ca/geekbench/) puts my MAC Pro way ahead of the iMAC .. my Pro is a 2 X Quad Core 2.26 with 12Gb RAM

  • Does Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro work with Windows 7?

I'm having a printing from Word to .PDF issue using Acrobat Pro 8 on a Windows 7 Pro OS. It's not working. It starts as though it's going to work and then nothing. The printer icon in the system tray only states printer error and then I have to cancel the print job. I'm using Word 2013 also.

    Hi Greggory Bowles,
Acrobat 8 pro is not compatible with MS Office 2013. You might prefer buying a newer version of Acrobat with Latest Features and Security Updates (Buying guide | Adobe Acrobat XI Pro).

  • Will 2008 macbook pro work with 27" cinema display?

    November macbook pro 13"
will this work seamlessly with new cinema diaplay?
also - how come it's not HD but 30" is? thanks.

I am using and enjoying my 27" Cinema Display with my October 2008 MacBook Pro 5,1. The display is breathtaking and its operation with my computer is flawless. I strongly recommend that you consider getting an Apple external keyboard and Magic Trackpad to use with your MBP and Cinema Display.
If you have a MBP 5,1 as your post indicates, it has both a 9400M and a 9600M GT GPU, not a 9200M.

  • Can Logic Pro work with soundfont (sf2) files?

Just curious. I have Garageband and the DLS Music Player has no way to change banks or presets for downloaded sf2 files except by sending a "program change" event from a midi controller. Can logic pro do that? I.e., if I load an sf2 file, can it use different banks and presets within that sf2 file, or is it limited to only the very first of each like Garageband?

Oh, I see, you don't have Logic yet - well, what I meant was that, once you've got your sf2 files into the EXS, just have a track for each different sound (open up an EXS24 on each track). If you need to use a lot of tracks, you can use Logic's 'Bounce in Place' feature, which instantly creates an audio file for you from the software instrument region you've created for any particular sound, so you don't need to think about banks of presets or program changes etc..
Logic comes with a vast array of software instruments and presets for them, along with a huge number of loops, if that's your thing - you may well find that good quality sounds that you want are already there and you won't need to use soundfont files anyway. If you've been using Garageband and want to take your work further, Logic is probably the next, well, logical step.
