Mod_perl/Installing RT Request Tracker

Hi,
I'm trying to install RT Tracker on Mac OS X 10.5 following these instructions:

I don't want to build apache, I just want to install mod_perl running side by side w/ mod_php, is there any way to do that with out having to rebuild apache2?
If I do have to build apache2 where can I find the correct instructions for Mac OS X 10.5 with mod_perl and mod_php? --prefix=Darwin?
I would like to replace the existing installs if I have to rebuild, not too sure how to uninstall.

We are attempting to install RT as well. Have you had any success? We are in the final stages, but cannot get the web server to run RT's mod_perl handler. Maybe between the two of us we can figure this out.

OIM 10g: Requests Track Doesn't show any requests status

OIM 10g BP15:
I've created a group "oim-admin-group" ("admuser" is the member of this group).
I've assigned quite a few "Menu Items" access required for "oim-admin-group" group including:
* Track Requests menu item
Also, assigned "permissions" on all objects to this group.
However, when "admuser" logs in and perform a search on Requests > Track > Search:
he don't see any results but the message:
"Your search did not return any results. Try again. "
I added "oim-admin-group" with "read" permissions to
* Organization > Xellerate User > Administrative Group >
* Organization > ABC (User's org) > Administrative Group >
Also, in (with "read" permissions)
* Resource > "Request" > Resource Administrators
* Resource > "Xellerate users" > Resource Administrators
* Resource > "Xellerate Organizations" > Resource Administrators
However, "admuser" still not able to track requests and sees same response.
Any suggestions ?

Looks like the "Administrative queues" implementation could have been planned around design time. Then the requests could be assigned and managed by different roles(groups) member with different access levels in OIM.
However, in my current setup - all workflows follows this rule 1) Route the request for manager approval 2) After successful manager approval, route it for application group approval (2nd step of approval). Implementation of "Administrative queues" in this setup looks difficult to me.
Any comment?

Hi,
What I understand is, you want to transport request from one server to another.
for example, Development to Qualtiy or Quality to Production.
For this your transport system must be configured. Please search help.sap.com or google for "How to configure Transport System (STMS)".
If you want to copy transport request from one system to another system which is not in your landscape, you need to physically move/copy transport request (cofile and datafile) to the target system in /usr/sap/trans/cofiles and /usr/sap/trans/data
Then import that request using SCC1.
You can alos perform TEST import for result.

Application catalog error - cannot install or request software.

Hi All,
I have installed SCCM 2012 SP1 and configured SCCM APP catalog, i am able to browse the portal from a client machine, the portal shows the application which are deployed but when i send a request for the application and after administrators approval
the the app catalog is not able to download the application and the portal shows
"cannot install or request software error message"same is happening with the application without request policy.
What i have tried :-
1. Adding the App catalog URL to the LOCAL Intranet zone.
2.Reinstallation of Application catalog.
But it shows the same error please help.

Seems like it was an MP issue, my MP was not working.
I did the following things :-
1. Remove App Catalog roles.
2. Uninstalled Management Point.
3. Uninstalled IIS.
4. System Restart.
5. Installed IIS.
6. Installed MP.
7. Installed App catalog roles.
Now, it's working.

Assign Menu Item of Request Track to a group

Hi ,
I am assigning a group the menu item named "Request Track" . And assigning a User to this menu item. When I login with this User I am not able to see all the request that are visible when i login as xelsysadm. How can this be done ??? ... I want the USER to see all the request that are visible to xelsysadm.

Are you using 64 bit on your Debian?
I uninstall it and then install it as a standard user.
There was a wizard ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wizard_(software) ) asked me if I want to install it.
I complete it but nothing happens and it freezes on the terminal.

I am developing an OTA Provisioning platform for Java Games . Herez the flow:
-> End User (Client) requests a content by entering his mobile no. via website
-> Server sends a WAP PUSH (Binary SMS) to his mobile.
-> When User opens the WAP PUSH (SMS), it will connect via GPRS to the server and start retrieving the game ( I am using Servlet to stream the JAD File)
-> Then it will retrieve JAR file (path defined in JAD file)
-> I have defined:
MIDlet-Install-Notify: http://myserver.com/content?323
in JAD File. So after Installation the Mobile handset connects the URL specified. I am then grabbing the status code i.e 900 or 901 ....
Problem:
User Tracking: I am not able to track the user for billing purpose e.g there are number of users each having unique Ids. When they download the content the Install-Notify connects to servlet but i am not able to distinguish among users as i am not able to dynamically assign User ID to MIDlet-Install-Notify URL in JAD File.
I am in now in real trouble. If any one knows the solution how to maintain session or URL rewriting i.e dyanmically assign Parameters to MIDlet-Install-Notify plz share it.

Actually, this is not too hard: all you need is a server generating or at least processing the JAD-files. Then you can process the JAD file before it gets downloaded to the mobile device and add a parameter with the unique ID. Send this unique ID with each request of the MIDlet, and your done...
Code obviously depends heavily on your server technolgy and application architecture (e.g. database used etc.), on the MIDlet-side you need MIDlet.getAppProperty(String propertyName) (instance method of MIDlet).

Solaris 10 install problem (requested image to big to fit into memory)

I have just downloaded the iso images and burned to disk. When I go to install I get the message (Requested image to big to fit into memory Error 28) I have 1.5GB so I don't understand the problem. Thanks in advance
It took a long time for me to figure out, but the answer is disable in BIOS memory hole at 15M to 16M. This solved the install problem with Open Solaris and quite a few more such as not being able to install Linux Zenwalk 5.0 or openSUSE 10.3. Their are others also problems I have had with Linux or UNIX that this took care of. JGZ

Hi,
I had been able to solve the Error 28 issue that in my case was really related to a corrupted boot image:
1. I went in the path /a/platform/i86pc
2. rm boot_archive.
3. sync
4. reboot
At this point the OS will notice the absence of the boot_image and it will regenerate it.
At the time of this operation the CD with solaris 10 was inserted in the CDROM.
When the system restarted it was able to load the OS properly.

Illustrator CS3 instalation fails, request me the CD

I'm trying to install the trial of Ai CS3, but when i install it, start but stop and request me the Adobe Illustrator CS3 CD, but i don't know why.

I don't want to install Rosetta if I don't have to.
But you will? Not sure what else you are looking for. This is an inherent limitation in all CS3 installers and apps - they require Rosetta, if only for the tiniest bit. unless you plan on upgrading your AI, that's the way it will have to be.

Why was McAfee installed without requesting my permission?

Usually when installing Flash Player, I can uncheck the boxes to ensure I don't get that junk installed, but when installing the latest update today, it installed it without requesting permission or even informing me of it, I didn't agree to McAfee, so why was it forced upon me?

This horrible behaviour still exist september 3, 2014 !!
I today got a request to update Flashplayer on my computer, Windows 7 64 bit.
It downloads a file and executing that DOES NOT GIVE ME ANY OPTION TO AVOID MCAFFEE!!
I did abort the installation, and I'm very thankfull that I have choosen to be notified of updates for me to install.
This is very bad, an extra layer of not wanted antivirus software can hurt both system stability and performance.
I do hope that this is an misstake that is adressed in timely manner for customers and notified to top management.

Transport Request Tracking

here i hava one requirement regarding transport request .
How to know request target when we released it .
I.e when we released the request , it should be transport either testing , quality or
production . or both .
where should sap maintaining these details .
is there any data base table ? .please help me .
In the table E070 it is maintainig some details .
The table contains only one target details .
if a particular request is transported to more than one server ,
still the table contains only about one server .
where can i get the remaning details .
my requirement is shown below .

Am not a 100% sure however how I think it works is
When you view the transport details in Development server in E070, the E070-TARSYSTEM for the request will point to QA server.
Then when the request is transported to QA, the same transport entry in E070 would be updated with E070-TARSYSTEM as Production server.
Can you check this and confirm.

We have configured application catalog for approvals and we are experiencing above error message when requesting approval.
Here is the log error message:

Can't install beyond request for product code

I am sure it has been covered before but I do not find the answer. I am trying to load WinTen from .iso. Although instructions say we do not need a product code, I can not progress beyond the screen asking for one. If I leave it blank

1. MS is holding a big event to day at 9a.m Pacific time. It is possible that a new build of Windows 10 TP is going to be released, or even a Consumer Preview.
So, you might want to find out what is being said in the event first.
2. You are right. product key is not needed when one installs the Windows 10 TP.
That said, here are the generic product keys for Enterprise version and non-Enterprise version.......

3. Permit me to start from scratch regarding installing Win 10 TP.
It is strongly suggested that you either install it in a virtual machine or dual booting with your existing OS.
